Hi,
I would like to know how the stop and trailing-stop functionality added to Bitfinex works...
Thanks for all

They are native orders on the Bitfinex exchange.
The Documentation can be found here:

https://support.bitfinex.com/hc/en-us/sections/115001100909-Order-Types

All the best,

Evening.

My client won't show the following exchanges their currency pairs:
Poloniex, bitrex, huobipro

I'm using Poloniex myself, their returnCurrencies API endpoint does return a boatload of correcJSON for me(https://poloniex.com/public?command=returnCurrencies).
Here's what curls out of it https://pastebin.com/1yStyxNq

Hi,

on which OS are you using leonArdo? Are you running on Linux?

All the best,

Hello all,

Anyone having trouble running Leonardo with multiple bots (i have 6 running) and being plagued by slowdowns/pauses

Try running Leonardo in "High priority", set in task manager.

All my issues have cleared up, even on Bittrex.

thanks for sharing! Have anyone else experimented with this setting already?

All the best,

How is this bot compared to Gunbot?

That is maybe a question for our users Wink But we just have the best graphical user interface for running bots.
And in December we will launch our new strategy framework which will allow to run also more  strategies like a bollinger band bot.

All the best,

  Rene

Hello,
I want to try your demo on MAC... I just installed it and generated new API Keys on Bitfinex extra for the demo....
but when I enter them and start I get the message:

"The secret key you gave is not registered to this product!"

what is the problem here?

thanks

Hi,

just select a *-demo market. You don't need to enter credentials for these Wink

Not 100% sure if this is the place for fixes/feature requests... Is there a dedicated forum somewhere else?  In any case, for some reason, every time I change the candlestick time period, the market depth graph on the right keeps hiding. It's pretty annoying.

As to the features, I think some basic annotations on the graph would be great. Say a possibility to put a horizontal "ray" on the graph and specify the color and opacity (in manual mode, without displaying the strategy.)  Plus maybe some basic "spot" markers - like arrows, triangles, etc. My main problem right now is not seeing my last buy/sell price if the little triangular indicator is outside of the time range.  The strategy visualization can already display such arrows pointing to the right onto the price axis, so maybe this could be also adapted for the manual marks?

Some additional info: I am running on Win 10.  Cannot run on Debian Stretch due to the SSL library version problem.

Yes, you can add feature requests and fixes here or mail us at support@marginsoftware.de

Right now the depth chart does indeed every time a new times period is chosen. We'll fix that soon.

And yes, we want drawing tools for leonArdo too. It won't happen for the next release as we are concentrating on a new Bollinger Band bot, but it will happen soon afterwards.

Thanks for your input.

I have a question regarding margin bot. when i run bots they immediately set an active order (limit buy) so that means in bittrex i have a lot of funds reserved. is there something that im doing wrong? i would like that margin bot filles buy order moments before actual time to buy...

To put a limit order on the books you have to allocate funds in order to do so. Otherwise you could also miss the order when the market moves quickly.

All the best,

  Rene

Edit: Our upcoming Bollinger Band bot will place a spot order once the correct criteria has been met. So you will only allocate funds when the bot actually buys or sells.

Yes, you are right!!

There seems to be an issue with our continuous integration server. Looking into it now and will get back to you.

Sorry about that!

You guys thought about a free Slack channel or Telegram?
Really think it would benefit everyone.

Keep up the good work! already spread the word to my friends about this Bot. im giving them daily updates of my trades.
All  going well so far! love it.

There is a leonArdo community slack at Wink

https://leonardough.slack.com/

All the best,

 Rene

Do i need an invite? It asked me to sign in. tried my regular slack one and didnt work.

Thanks!

same question here..  Wink

We don't run this Slack channel and it was certainly the case before that it was just open and you didn't need an invite.

I asked and will let you guys know.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Edit: Until I get a definitive answer it looks like I can invite people, so if you want to send me your email address by pm I'll invite you. Or mail me at support@marginsoftware.de and ask me.

HI all,

Been playing with the bot now for 3 days. love it.
Please can someone explain how to use the ping pong feature?

Thanks!

Hi.

you can use the ping pong feature to buy and sell at a fixed band. For example if the price stays in a certain channel for quite some time

All the best,

Rene

How do I set/start the ping pong feature?
Thanks!

Just click the strategy button that you do for mArgin maker, but choose Static Ping Pong from the drop down list. Then you can set the buy and sell prices you want, choose an amount you want to trade and click start. As easy as that!

Best wishes,
Jonathan

leonArdo 3.6.0 released

G'Day Developers,

I'd like to suggest the following features for your next release:

-- TRAILING Stop SELL Order
-- TRAILING Stop BUY Order

Refer to this article for details of implementation: https://novelinvestor.com/trailing-stop-order/

These features would be extremely useful for users.

Thank you in advance.

Aren't those already there? I see them on Bitfinex right now (in the manual mode)...

I'm using Bittrex and there is no trailing orders options anywhere (manual or a bot strategy). I believe that such trailing order features can be programmed into the leonArdo itself -- independently from an exchange used. It would be nice to have them both in manual and auto-trading modes.

We support them already on Bitfinex as they are supported by the exchange natively. We are improving leonArdo constantly and are working on offering more of those advanced features!

All the best,

  Rene

I have a problem with ping-pong bot. Sometimes they just stop all on one coin. Buy orders remain, but if they are implemented, then the sale order will not be made. I have to manually restart the bot by pressing stop start. In the older version this did not happen

I have the same problem. The bots are stuck and nothing works anymore. In all strategies.
Please Fix it Dev.

It could be that the API of the exchange you were trading on went down? Without some more information I can't say right now.

Can you contact us at support@marginsoftware.de with some more info?

Thanks,

Hi Team

Can anyone please explain what each of the additional options do in the MArgin Strategy? eg. Stop-loss has 2 options, relative and absolute. I didn't really see much insight to these advanced settings in the tutorial videos.

Thanks

Hi,

when setting up a margin maker strategy, you can set an absolute stop loss level or a stop loss level relative to your buy price.
Just try to setup a strategy and play around with the parametesr and you will see how it affects/ not affects the levels.

And you are right, more info and tutorials would be great. We are working on a re-launch of our webplatform and will have some new content soon.
If you have any further questions, just let us know!

All the best,

Does anyone have tips on how to get notifications (via e-mail for instance) when a bot successfully makes a BUY of SELL?

Hi,

that is a feature that is also on our list Smiley What notifications would you prefer? Telegram? Email? Other options?

All the best,

  Rene

Personally I really like pushover; it's very easy to setup. If you don't want to commit to one specific app, I'd suggest to implement an e-mail feature. Pushover, by the way, allows users to create dummy e-mailaddresses to which apps can send e-mail, which is then delivered via the pushover app, pretty handy.

The contents for such notification would be the stats from the trade, basically the same info as presented via the UI / graph when mouse-over on an historic buy/sell marker.

If there's anything I can do, let me know.

Interesting, looking into general notification/messaging gateways and frameworks right know.

All the best,

I should hope you will have better success than that!  Grin I mean it seems that unless you are only expecting very few successful transactions in a day a person may want to avoid that much email traffic. I have thought about it and I know of no way to get the alerts, from my prospective any add-on or screen scraping and email etc would be an unnecessary security exposure, one more open port for the hackers.

I prefer telegram notifications, it should not be difficult to implement for LeonArdo developers.

Hi,

thanks for suggesting it. We are already on it.

All the best,

  Rene
