Hi all,
im really looking forward for the new version with the first version of the bb bot. Grin This project gets more and more promising every day and it's an honor to participate. However with Bittrex performing rather slow aswell as less and less consumer firendly i'm looking forward to change to binance which seems very promising at this time and/or the near future. Are you going to implement binance into your exchanges? And if yes, when would you estimate this to happen?
Thank you in advance and for the hard work!

Hi,

thanks for your support. We are already looking into other exchanges to support. Stay tuned Smiley

All the best,

 Rene

HI all,

Been playing with the bot now for 3 days. love it.
Please can someone explain how to use the ping pong feature?

Thanks!

Hi.

you can use the ping pong feature to buy and sell at a fixed band. For example if the price stays in a certain channel for quite some time

All the best,

Rene

Hi, I'm interested in buying this software. I have one question, is there an implementation of Trailing Stop Loss? I quote the following example on what I mean as Trailing Stop Loss:

"With a trailing stop loss order, say you have a $15 stock. You might establish a trailing stop loss order of 10% instead of a traditional stop loss order at, say, $13.50. If the stock goes up to $20, you will still use the 10% level. This makes your stop loss order effective at $18 (10% below $20). If you had used a traditional stop loss, your order would have sold at $13.50, and you would have lost the profit you made when the stock went up."

Right now we only have trailing stop on Bitfinex as their API supports it.

We are working on more advanced order types as first class features for leonArdo so that it won't matter if the exchange API supports them or not - we will.

Thanks for your question.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Hi all.

I downloaded the trial version, but cant login. i cant see anywhere to sign up and my email doesn't have anything from you at all.

Keen to try! thanks

Hi!

just select a -demo market and you do not have to enter an API key at all.
You can then just paper trade to test the product.

All the best,

 Rene

Hiya, Just bought the package. It says you will build it and send to me?
How long will this take?
Thanks!

During business hours we build your copy mostly within an hour.
At night it should not take more than 8h in the worst case.
Might also be a good to check your spam folder for the download link!

All the best,

Hi,

I am considering to buy LeonArdo bot. But I am not sure  about which exchange to connect.

I am thinking about Bitstamp or Bitfinex.

Like to hear advise which one to choose.

Thanks!

That depends on your needs and what you are looking for (deposits in fiat, available currencies, etc).
But if you are using both already, I would recommend starting with Bitfinex first.

Hi Jonathan,

I have buy a License for Leonardo on Tuesday, but i have no Response,
also not on my mails to the support.
The payment is complete, and my API key is entered.

Request for feedback I would like to work with Leonardo.

You should have gotten a download link shortly after your payment.
If you just send a pm and we will get you up and running asap.

All the best,

  Rene

Hi,
Excuse me, that was my mistake, I did not think about the spam filter, it has been catching all my emails for a few days.
It's all very well I've got the info now.
Thx Andreas

When will the bots based on indicators (EMA, SAR) be available? That would be awesome.
Any rough ETA?

We're waiting...

we are re-designing the strategy framework right now. We plan to release the first bot on the new framework before the end of the year Smiley.
Thanks for your interest!

edit: earlier stated Jan 2018, but we plan to release it even before that!

Hi to all the thread,
I purchased the software today under a friend advice but I dunno if it really suits my needs.

I know this was asked in the past: can I use this bot to buy a crypto if it has a rapid spike? I just need to set a buy order HIGHER than current price. I am afraid a buy order is launched immediatly now in this situation. I need the order being launched if the price goes OVER a level (would be great if this level would be relative to a moving average)
in this way you could catch pump and dumps. what you think?

Hi,

Thanks for your support! At the moment this is not available as a strategy. We are re-designing our bot framework right now, so there will be various trading strategies in the not so distant future.
Features such as volume, price and also the indicators will then make their way into our bots Wink

All the best,

  Rene

Would there be other exchanges added like Korbit for example?

We have new exchanges in the pipeline, but Korbit is not on the short list yet.
But we will keep it in mind. Thanks for suggesting it!

Is there a German user guide for leonardo?

THX for answer.

Hi,

right now there is none. But we are working o a new webplatform which will have more up to date tutorials.
In the beginning these will be in English as this is reaching the most  customers. Are you looking for a particular info?

Can I configure leandro so that he can buy if X currency has a dollar drop predefined by me or in percent?

Another question, when it has been in operation for less than 24 hours, it collapses. Runtime error and I have to reset it.

You can use the static ping pong bot to set a fixed price at which to buy at.

As for the crashes you are experiencing. Can you send a mail to support@marginsoftware.se with the following details:

OS
Number of pairs/bots
Any other information you think might be helpful

Thanks!
Jonathan

I'm sorry, I have not explained myself well. I want that the bot buy if the price difference with respect to X minutes is Y.

With the current bots that's not possible right now.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

I'm really enjoying trading on poloniex again and using leonArdo's new indicators  Wink

how do you use (show them)

We are not allowed to give any detailed trading advice. But there are many tutorials out in the internet.
A quick google/youtube search should give you access to some tutorials.

Problem sort of solved itself after a couple of hours, so i guess it had something to do with bittrex API.

Yes, that's an issue with the bittrex API not responding correctly more than likely due to a high load.

People who use POLONIEX:

How is your experience with the latest version of leonArdo during these times of high load? Do you experience fast responsiveness from the interface, especially when placing/changing/removing orders? I'm considering changing from Bittrex to Poloniex, but since that requires me purchasing a new exchange license, I'd do it only when 100% sure it will perform better than Bittrex.

Thanks!

Placing, changing and removing orders takes a few seconds, up to 15 seconds when the market goes very fast. I might not complaint about that due to the automatic nature of the api call. What is really lagging on poloniex is the rate of depth update. On the poloniex website, orders and depth change as fast as 1 second. This does not reflect on the bot. Again, it might be attributed to the api.

You guessed correctly Smiley We would also like you update the information as fast as possible, but we are limited on the API calls.
The current market/graph in focus is updating faster that the others btw.

Thanks for your support and all the best,

  Rene

I've since downgraded back to 3.5 ver

Hi,

on what OS are you running leonArdo and which Exchange are you trading on?
Also how many pairs do you have open?

I've been fiddling with this for a few days, and maybe I missed some things.

Is there a way to see an aggregate of your trades? In running the demo, I've been trying to determine some strategies for when I pull the trigger and go live, but for the life of me I cannot tell which ones are paying off

I do wish there was more extensive documentation somewhere as I know I am not fully catching on to some of its capabilities.

https://imgur.com/a/dDwQY

You can view all your successful trades through the bot.  On the bottom left, you have 3 options to view.  Those are, "Show active orders", "Show completed trades", and finally "Show logs".  Click on the middle option, "Show completed trades".  You can refer to the image above.  I've highlighted it there in red.

As for seeing your profits.  The bot doesn't show that(maybe something to add in the future??? Tongue ).  But you should be able to get a rough estimate if you already knew the amount of funds you started with.

I did go through that. It's a bit of a pain to have to have to add it all up - It really should be something that the program could track. I've taken to adding up the values in the wallet. Close, but if you have orders in the pipeline, it doesn't tell you the full story. Even if it's just a simply current value of portfolio in BTC and/or USD, along with a % change from X date.

Definitely on the way in an upcoming version. We want it too!

Best wishes,
Jonathan
