721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why kucoin delisted Tenx (pay ) on: June 15, 2020, 06:44:08 PM
You got it wrong, the real reason is probably because not enough people are trading it the coin on kucoin to make money... That's the only reason why kucoin will ever delist a coin off their exchange
Low trading volume is generally the reason why most exchange usually delist coin on their platform but in the case of tenx, I do not believe that is the issue because it is rated on coingecko as 345 also so in term of marketcap rank among listed coin which is an indication that it has more trading volume, However, I strongly believe the Kucoin must have delisted them because they fall in to the category called ST (Special Treatment) stated on their platform. the coin got delisted due to one of the reason listed here https://kucoin.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003256193-Special-Treatment-Area
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ethereum investment for future ?? on: June 15, 2020, 04:57:57 PM
Honestly, Ethereum is few of those coin you can count on for long time investment. Much like Bitcoin , Ethereum has become increasingly popular in recent years as people fully accept cryptocurrencies. Ether has indeed been traded publicly since 2016 which is one of the biggest digital products. Ethereum will continue to proliferate and as price increases and demand increases.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: United Nation Expert admit Digital Currencies Could Replace Bank Accounts on: June 15, 2020, 12:47:36 PM
And the sooner they realised, the sooner Central Banks are going to imposed crypto regulations to somewhat put a dent on crypto imminent rising. It can slow them, but I doubt that the can really stop this crypto revolution.

Cashless society, CBDC's will be the future. However, don't think that banks will go obsolete though, they will stay for sure, but their influence on people will somewhat reduce as we shift to crypto in the next 5-10 years.
They are already trying to restrict the use of crypto but things seems not to be working in their own favour but rather crypto is booming day and night. For instance in my country, local exchangers will always give to traders not to include any word indicating a possible crypto transaction on bank teller when they want to purchase crypto in order not to get the local exchangers account frozen but upon this crypto business is still booming. We all Know bank won't because of crypto go extinct but at least they should be more friendly to crypto
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / United Nation Expert admit Digital Currencies Could Replace Bank Accounts on: June 15, 2020, 08:58:49 AM

This is the opinion of Massimo Buonomo, a UN global blockchain expert who added that the need for a bank account may soon be "fully removed by digital currencies and especially the central bank's digital currencies (CBDCs). Buonomo said that banks and credit card companies have had a duopolistic approach to digital payments for many years, but the advent of digital currencies can mean that users can circumvent them completely, he said in an online board on Thursday about the future global post-coronavirus economic structure.

He said that low-interest rates, which central banks are needed to facilitate increased borrowing, will speed up the cycle because they enable account holders to chase other countries for returns. For one, the Bank of England discusses the idea that interest rates are paying in negative territories, which suggests savers can compensate the banks to keep funds in their bank accounts. American President Donald Trump recently called them a "gift" for negative rates.

Interest rates are the one remaining killer feature of bank accounts, according to Buonomo. Yet in the context of digital currencies that can accept online purchases as quickly, they are in danger of being redundant.

It is becoming evident that things will begin sour for Banks. The sooner they realize this the better for them
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most controversial classification on: June 14, 2020, 08:26:25 PM
Blockchain.info is a web wallet which to me is not as reliable as the hardware wallet. You can be hacked and all your coin being stolen from you. You do not have control over your private key just like coinbase and other centralized exchange. I hope this convince you enough to show reason why hardware wallet can be chosen over blockchain wallet. I know you are thinking people are moving away from such an old wallet but there is nothing wrong when you make use of other improved platforms that share the same underlying technology
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted projects ruined me !! on: June 14, 2020, 02:12:51 PM
It cut across all coin especially after the bull run in 2016/2017. I participated in projects that are highly rated such as Aion and Pundi X, there were time that this token went up became 5x of the crowdsale price but immediately the price of bitcoin becomes bearish, all of them fell badly and up till now most of them have not even recover to make the crowdsales price not to talk about rising above that. But the sad truth is that most of the token you said you trusted must have been backed up by projects that have long being abandon making the token useless on the exchange
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another SpaceX scam has reappeared, why is that? on: June 14, 2020, 12:29:51 PM
Majority of the people that always fall victims of scam like this are those newbie that do not always do their findings before making a decision. Even if SpaceX is going to give anything, it will strictly be a donation particularly at this moment that the owe world is witnessing Covid19 pandemic. Alot of scams are being perpetuated on the internet using Elon musk as a bait. You hardly come across any post made by him without scammers spamming the post with that tesla giveaway scam and it is imperative to see now that they have move on to SpaceX scam.
728  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Looking for a Bitcoin Debit Card similar to Bitpay debit Card on: June 14, 2020, 10:16:29 AM
There is a good debit card "Uphold" that is well known to those who work in the brave browser, a good card accepts Visa and Mastercard, allows users to switch seamlessly between fiat, crypto, and even precious metals, through which you can access all Uphold services around the world.
Here is the discount card website:
https://uphold.com/en/debit-card

You can read more about this card here:
https://www.cardrates.com/news/upholds-new-mastercard-delivers-crypto-or-fiat-spending/

Here is a list of banned countries from the service:
https://support.uphold.com/hc/en-us/articles/206119013-Does-Uphold-offer-debit-credit-card-funding-in-my-country-
Op will have to wait for a long time to get uphold card. I am not sure they have all the license and agreement ready. The card shipping has not started. They are in the same phase with Amon card. If Op is interested in getting a crypto prepaid card, he should consider Crypterium https://cards.crypterium.com/, Paycent https://paycent.com/paycent-card/ or Monaco card https://crypto.com/en/cards.html those are the most viable one for now. Paycent for me is the best due to higher daily limit and also varying card providers which include both the UnionPay and Mastercard as well
729  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Trading coins on Binance Exchange. on: June 13, 2020, 09:44:56 PM
You will need to explain what you mean by the word "best" binance is known for listing coin that are back up by good project with a lot of potentials so I will assume all the coin listed are good. If you are talking about most traded coin then it is going to be bitcoin. You can see for yourself that it has the highest trading volume followed by ETH with each being pair with USDT. If your best is based on making quick profit then I will say none of them is guaranteed. Crypto trading involves a lot of risk so it is difficult to tell which one will quickly makes profit for you
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Watch out for the following on: June 13, 2020, 06:06:15 PM
The most important and the very lesson any newbie must learn is to have patient and not to be too enthusiastic about any opportunity without seeking for knowledge. You can read any news from what people say or read online but you must take charge when making decisions. It is unfortunate when you read news about individual losing money cheaply to some scammers that you can easily discover that what they are calling legit happen to be scam. From experience, I have never seen any trading strategy that I can boastfully tell you that I am 100% sure you will keep making profit. so when someone keep suggesting an investment for you and boasting that it is profitable, then you need to do your own research
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Proof-of-Balance better than other blockchain based protocols ? on: June 13, 2020, 03:43:37 PM
The National Science Foundation, an independent U.S. federal government agency, has granted private blockchain startup KRNC a $225,000 grant to build crypto functionalities for the dollar at a period when the digital dollar is a subject of public debate.

The CEO of KRNC (https://www.krnc.io/), Clint Ehrlich is a regular critiques of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. He believes Bitcoin, which runs on the principle of Proof-of-Work, is wasteful," Ehrlich said. "It requires people to waste money and computing power solving pointless problems." KRNC protocol is touted to be based on his own invention called "Proof-of-Balance"

Anyone understand what this "Proof of Balance" ?
What makes it better than other protocols such as POS and POW ?
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Blockchain? on: June 13, 2020, 01:27:50 PM
1. Bitcoin without Blockchain or;
2. Blockchain without Bitcoin

Bitcoin not blockchain.

Why? Simply because Bitcoin is the only one that's somewhat proven to actually have a viable use-case. Sure, you could argue that Ethereum smart contracts and whatever, but man people are overly underestimating how clunky and how centralized the Ethereum ecosystem is. We're yet to see a different blockchain that could actually get to the level Bitcoin is at.
I think this is not really true. Maybe because bitcoin which is the first to be built on blockchain technology. You cant do anything on bitcoin blockchain except to send and received bitcoin. Other blockchain technology such as Ethereum have been able to make the usage of the technology not only limited to send and receiving crypto but creation of other smart contracts for extendable usage. If you say bitcoin blockchain technology is most decentralized it is ok but that does not take out the fact that it is being made centralized by third parties such as the centralized exchange platforms in which most people trade on them today
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Share]: Someone lost all of his BTC from malicious chrome extension on: June 13, 2020, 09:34:34 AM
it is very hard to recover stolen coin. He has probably lost it for life. This is why it is very important to be careful of installing any addon that might compromise your address you want to send coin into. Crypto and blockchain technology is evolving and every day, people are still learning new things or the other and this chrome extension is part of what hackers have developed to steal coin from individuals. The scammers must have used bitcoin mix services and the transaction will be difficult to trace
734  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade isn’t for Me guys. on: June 12, 2020, 08:55:31 PM
Since you have discover this, it is better to have a break from trading and possibly start using some demo accounts. This will assist you to have real time trading experience without losing your real money. You can check on hitbtc exchange they have demo account. No one is truly professional but learning from past trading mistakes is what really make you a better trader. When you are losing money continuously without looking back to what you are doing wrong, they it becomes addiction just like gambling
735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make a trade or investment decision? on: June 12, 2020, 03:28:47 PM
You can use to social media pages such as Facebook and twitter to get latest news regarding crypto. Cointelegraph, coindesk, Binance and co provide news 24/7 on their social media pages. All you need is just to follow them. Most of my trading decision come from news and reviewing coin history using charge, 24 hrs trading volumes, highest and lowest price in the last 24 hours govern my decision too. If you don't wanna use PC, you can download your exchange mobile trading app for easy monitoring of the trades.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think is the right time to buy BNB now? on: June 12, 2020, 02:04:46 PM
It is better to be accumulating a bit by bit. Generally when the crypto markets drops, the price of BNB too drops which makes it idea time to buy. So going by this, I will advise you to buy and accumulate now. Aside for the news you are expecting, BNB most time rise anytime binance introduce a new coin to be promoted on their launchpad. I don't have idea why it is always like that but that is what I've discovered generally about the BNB coin
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WTF is going on in crypto 💣 on: June 12, 2020, 11:24:15 AM
I can smell some bullish but due to massive fud out there the market getting delay each day. We cant expect the market to suddenly bloom with eth 2.0 upgrade alone. We all knew that this will take time but good thing is many investors are already locking in some eth while still cheap cause there will be a huge hype once migration to PoS is done.

On the case of btc, too many rejected attempt has been observed to break out 10k and have some good support but unfortunately there are selfish whales that are playing with the market avoiding this surge to happen.
People are getting too careful about taking risk and putting huge profit with the hope of getting more profit. 2017 bull run have thought people lesson. some bought bitcoin when it was above $10k then. So if it hit the price back, I do not see them taking that chance again and beside people take profit which makes bitcoin subject to market correction. ETH  2.0 hype cannot be as hyped as bitcoin halving that past almost a months now. It is very hard to predict what ETH 2.0 influence will have on the market.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges not accepting mixed BTC, so is BTC no longer fungible? on: June 12, 2020, 09:51:55 AM
Majority of people that used mixed services for their bitcoin have potential of acquiring the BTC through shady means. You do not expect exchange platform to be queried or payed badly from something they do not know anything about. Many of this exchanges are operating and obey the government policy in country in which their business is. If they mistakenly taking mixed BTC from trader that stole public funds, What do you think will happen to them ?. The fall of e-currency such as Liberty reserve should remind you what government is capable of doing.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need a reality check, is an ICO right for me to fund a business? on: June 11, 2020, 08:58:56 PM
I don't understand how you intend making money from your business because you clearly stated you want to be giving food to poor people free ones in a day. When you source for partnership from investors and issue them a token, how do you intend getting profit from your business ? Or when the initial token you issued to get money for the food business is distributed completely and you are done with the previous money invested, you are going to raise another fund. From experience about project startup you are going to end up with a project that is not sustainable and will latter result into shit tokens that will be massively get dump in exchange and later get delisted
740  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why so much hassle finding Fiat/Altcoin pairs exchange? on: June 11, 2020, 02:15:46 PM
You might need to tell us the specific altcoin you want to convert. However, major pairing of most coin with ETH and BTC is because the two are most used coin and mostly the have the highest marketcap but some exchange have started pairing USDT with most altcoin as well. Binance and Poloniex have a lot of this pairing. Due to variants in stablecoin, some of the platforms might distribute the pairing of the various stablecoins such USDT, USDC, DAI, BUSD etc with some selected altcoin
