721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: October 28, 2023, 04:46:14 AM
I'm starting to have mixed feelings about what Tapales has been doing lately. It seems like he's moving away from being a humble boxer and trying to imitate what Casimero has been doing. I understand that he's training hard, but maybe he should keep his words to himself and just focus all his energy into training.

Calling himself a "nightmare" for Inoue sounds a bit funny because no amount of trash talk is likely to disrupt Inoue's focus.

That's just how it is, man. Boxers who engage in trash talk tend to get more attention. While Tapales might not naturally be that boastful, he's probably following the orders of his promoter. Marketing the fight is crucial, and this kind of promotion is designed to make the fight more interesting, attract a crowd, and boost potential PPV sales if there is one.

Also, if there is an agreement in their contract that the fighters will receive a big bonus if the sales of their payperview reaches a certain quota then Marlon Tapales should certainly trashtalk and market himself as Inoue's nightmare hehehe.

I reckon Marlon should also watch the replays of Conor McGregor's interviews and start walking the billionaire walk like Conor hehehe.

Nah, I don't think that Tapales has the swag like that, this Filipino boxers came in poor like Manny Pacquaio, so they are really very humble in boxing even if they become a world champion because they still think were they come from. Exception to the rule is John Riel Casimero, however, it seems that his arrogant lifestyle has caught up with him. He doesn't have a good fight at 122 lbs so far and we don't know if Inoue will give him a chance after he got all the belts from Tapales.

And remember that this two doesn't speak English very well and obviously it's not their first language. So it's very hard to talk trash against your opponent as it will go on a translator and the translator might missed or intentionally omit words.

However, Conor McGregor also was poor in Ireland before he began his career in MMA. He was a plumber and a construction worker. Also similar to Tapales, Conor was also humble before he became very rich. When he was not yet a champion, Conor's trashtalking was also not from his personality. He only taught himself to trashtalk to sell more tickets and more UFC subscriptions. Marlon can also use this tactic to sell more payperviews. It will also make this very exciting for the fans hehe.
722  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2023 end game sentiment check on: October 28, 2023, 03:29:34 AM
If the report in this article is true, I speculate that we might witness bitcoin pump to $40k and it might go over this. However on pumping to a new all time high, I reckon this might come only after the halving.

In any case, much of you might consider this bad news but I will tell everyone for certain that this news is good news if you want more inflows of dollars to enter the cryptospace to pump your cryptocoins hehehehe.

There are stablecoin pumpmen who increase inflows for the cryptospace. I am quite certain that there people in the forum who do not like these pumpmen but they are there causing the pumps for you.

The pumpman that we do not deserve

The US is losing its regulatory oversight over the stablecoin market, Chainalysis says in a new 97-page research report published this week.

The blockchain forensics company found that the majority of stablecoin inflows have shifted from US licensed companies to non-US licensed ones since March.

As of June, 54.6% of stablecoin inflows to the 50 biggest crypto service providers went to non-US licensed exchanges.

“Though US entities originally helped legitimise and seed the stablecoin market, more crypto users are pursuing stablecoin-related activity with trading platforms and issuers headquartered abroad,” said the report.

“Unfortunately, this means the US government is increasingly losing its ability to conduct stablecoin oversight and US consumers are missing opportunities to engage with stablecoins with the safeguards provided by the US regulatory regime,” the report added.

723  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Binance the next to bite the dust or FUD? on: October 28, 2023, 01:26:33 AM
Will these terrorism funding accusations and allegations get the victory for these politicians and make Binance to bite the dust or is this another FUD only? The clowns of government have been attacking the exchange for more than 1 year and none of them could defeat the defense powers of CZ heheheh.

Republican lawmakers urged the U.S. Department of Justice to figure out the extent to which Binance and Tether might be supporting terrorism funding following attacks on Israel.

724  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: October 28, 2023, 12:34:55 AM
On his statement that he thought it was legal to take FTX deposits would later be connected to Sam's absence of discernment between right and wrong. This will be blamed on his longterm use of Adderall and the defense will create a storyline that he is the victim.

This is my prediction.
Nah, I don't think that his defense will go that way, but I guess we will see. Either way, I don't think he will avoid a long jail sentence considering all the pepple that testified against him, unless by some miracle he gets a deal and give them something big enough (maybe connected to CZ/Binance?).

Anyway, round 2 just started, for those intersetd to hear what he has to say.

https://twitter.com/innercitypress/status/1717898718232350770

I disagree. If someone is facing a lifetime in prison, all types of other options on how to reduce sentence will certainly be more attractive than the option facing him.

However, agree on Sam Bankrupt-Fraud becoming a whistleblower. Sam Tabasco is waiting for him and become partners again hehehe. I speculate Sam Tabasco to be whistlerblower no.1 who might have made a deal with the government already.

@owengtam09. Agreed. Jon Jones did not easily injure his body during training when he was the light heavyweight champion. His cancelled fights before were only because of smorting cocaine, abuse of alcohol and the hit and run of a pregnant woman. I reckon that this injured knee might be caused by being overweight for these chicken legs!

I am quite certain these bones of Bones Jones cannot carry more than 150 kilograms without injury.

727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor talks about Bitcoin, and you WILL be disappointed on: October 27, 2023, 02:17:00 AM
@pixie85. Agreed. We should idolize him on his skill on women and how they become Saylor's jerkers hehehehe. In the cryptospace I reckon this has also worked on men hehehe. Saylor's jerkers form a circle to continue the jerking and tell everyone that there is no second best.

728  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: October 27, 2023, 01:35:22 AM
@Rikafip. People on social media who are posting memes are very distracting hehehehe.

729  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PayPal Just Announced Plans to Launch a USD Stablecoin - Thoughts? on: October 27, 2023, 12:55:27 AM
@BenCodie. Yes I am saying that somewhere in the future people will sell their bitcoins because they have bought it as a speculative investment. Do you not see it occur on the market?

I did not say bitcoin was used for immoral purposes. You have said this. I said people use bitcoin for gambling and moneylaundering which are very good use cases for bitcoin and many cryptocoins, I reckon.

It can also be used as a very longterm savings account. No one can stop you. However, how can you prove this is not a very longterm speculative investment?

On scaling, you said on 2030 bitcoin will scale. We will wait for this. However, it appears from what is presently being done, scaling will be offchain or on more centralized networks.

On this Pomp, he is only one example of the many larpers in this community who larp about bitcoin and how it will fix everything. Also many times these larpers are very arrogant who think they are better because their coin is the one coin that is better than all coins. It is very head shaking behavior these larpers.
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor talks about Bitcoin, and you WILL be disappointed on: October 26, 2023, 06:17:39 AM

Lolz  Grin. See comment. Yet he becomes one of the biggest hodler of that the same gambling fate coin. smile!! Well at the initial time of the technology many people disdain and hate it, but when some discovered that bitcoin network is much more better than keeping their money in fiat bank, they started using as their investment coin. Well this not a new news so Uncle Saylor will say "that was then and not now". And I don't think he will still disdain bitcoin when he has seen the benefits and the important which he has kept his money in anonymous. Saylor now preach the goodness of bitcoin nd not the reverse part. Though I am not following on IG and Twitter but I believe he does not hate bitcoin again.

What Michael Saylor Moon will certainly not disdain is how much money he will make from hoarding and holding bitcoin hehehe.

What does everyone predict, will he dump or will he use his bitcoin as collateral to sell bitcoin short very much similar when he used Microstrategy stocks as collateral to buy bitcoin long?

In any case, he will be one of the richest people who has larped about bitcoin in the cryptospace.

731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin Hit $1 Million by 2026? Arthur Hayes Makes Exciting Forecast on: October 26, 2023, 05:00:26 AM
It would be very difficult to disagree on Arthur's speculation and this speculation is certainly much better for bitcoin's pump! If everyone is also aware on which next ETF application is scheduled for approval, we can be quite certain that this will not be approved by uncle Gary and the SEC. There might be an argument for an approval if the next scheduled application is on Blackrock's ETF, however, it is not them. It is Global X's ETF which might not have the same influence and connections that Blackrock has on the government.

Arthur Hayes, the co-founder of the BitMEX derivatives exchange, published an essay attributing the crypto market rally to the costs associated with hawkish U.S. foreign policy and not spot Bitcoin ETF anticipation.

In an Oct. 24 essay titled The Periphery, Hayes attributed U.S. president Joe Biden’s open-ended commitment to supporting Israel’s war effort against Hamas to the recent surge in the crypto markets.

“If long-term U.S. Treasury bonds offer no safety for investors, then their money will seek out alternatives,” Hayes said. “Gold, and most importantly, Bitcoin, will begin rising on true fears of global wartime inflation.”

732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top Crypto Execs Confident SEC Will Approve Spot Bitcoin ETFs on: October 26, 2023, 04:47:12 AM
@Lucius. It appears that you might be proven correct. Cathie Wood might only be larping about this before end of the year ETF approval. Her investment firm Ark Invest has dumped Coinbase stocks and GBTC shares on the traditional market. I am quite certain she will also dump bitcoin on November 21 or before this date if she gets confirmation of a disapproval on the ETF from uncle Gary.

Cathie Wood's Ark Invest sold 42,613 shares of Coinbase and 100,739 shares of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust on Monday amid an ongoing bitcoin-led crypto rally.

733  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: October 26, 2023, 04:10:20 AM
News update.

Sam Bankrupt-Fraud might have gotten his new supply of Adderall because it appears that he has agreed to be on the witness stand and testify. There should be prediction market for this hehehe.

In any case, will he mention CZ and blame him for FTX's collapse? Will he tell everyone something new and cause a plot twist on the trial? Will he act strangely so he can plead insanity later and have his criminal sentence reduced?

This is very thrilling heheehehhe.

FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried has decided to testify in his criminal trial, a direct appeal to jurors in his bid to prove he did not commit fraud or conspire to commit fraud at his once-giant cryptocurrency exchange, his defense attorneys said during a Wednesday teleconference.

Bankman-Fried will begin testifying as soon as Thursday, his team said.

734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 Oscar Awards bets and discussions on: October 25, 2023, 04:08:40 AM
News update.

I reckon everyone might be concentrated very intently on Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan, Cillian Murphy and Killers of the flower moon, Martin Scorsese, Leonardo Di Caprio hehe. There is a new movie that will be premiered on November 22 called Napoleon. This is directed by Ridley Scott and the role of Napoleon is played by Joaquin Phoenix. I speculate this might disappoint that fans of Nolan and Scorsese. The last time Ridley Scott and Joaquin Phoenix worked together was in the movie Gladiator where it won for best movie and best actor.

Joaquin Phoenix is highly regarded as one of the greatest working actors today, as displayed in the varied roles he portrays and the multiple respected directors he has worked with. He now reunites with Ridley Scott, with whom he first worked with on “Gladiator” over two decades ago in 2000, on the upcoming historical epic “Napoleon,” playing the titular French commander set to be released on November 22.

735  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: October 25, 2023, 03:37:24 AM
@Rikafip. If CZ did not trigger the collapse of FTX and only waited for the market to become more bullish, I reckon FTX would be out of insolvency now after this present pump on bitcoin and altcoins hehehehe.
I have to agree with JayJuanGee - the way things were ran there it was just a matter of time before shit hit the fan. I say it was better that it happened sooner than later as if this thing ran for a couple of years more, way more people would end up getting rekted as they kept expanding.

I feel sorry for all people that lost money there (and few of my close friends are among them as well) but in the end it was blessing in disguise that it happened last year.

I also agree. FTX's collapse was coming sooner or later and if CZ did not trigger it, certainly another triggering event would have certainly occurred later. I never implied that FTX had a healthy balance sheet. It was only making a comment on how it would be funny that this pump on the cryptospace would have removed FTX out of insolvency hehehehe.

Join the BTC discussion and let us know where you think it's headed! Will it skyrocket past 35K 🚀 or experience a dip 📉? Your insights matter, so cast your vote and share your crypto wisdom with the community! 📊
I can not say the price will go beyond $35000 or go down back to a price below. The outcome will depend on if the spot bitcoin ETF is approved or not. If not approved, I am expecting the market to calm and if calm for long the price will fall back. But if spot bitcoin ETF is approved, the price will increase above $35000.

The next approval is on November 21. This is 3 weeks from the present date. Bitcoin is pumping because everyone is speculating that an ETF approval is a certainty. If the strength of this pump continues until November 21, where do you reckon bitcoin will go? I am quite certain it will be to $40k once another pump causes another short squeeze again.

However, on November 21 we cannot predict how much bearish overreaction this market might create if the SEC announces a rejection. Similar to how short squeezes make pumps stronger, liquidating long buyers also make the dump also stronger.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blackrock ETF listed on the ticker index… perhaps it’s approved? on: October 25, 2023, 01:33:48 AM
The occurrence from fake news to bullish for approval is very head scratching. Was it only fake news or was it really a leak?
I mean, both can be true. The previous news could be fake and the one who shared the story is just lucky that his fake news has more weight now. I'm also surprised to see the rally this morning, at the very least this proves that people are very easy to get into fomo when there are some speculative changes on the market. Nothing wrong with securing their profits though, it is impossible to make money if you don't follow the market to begin with. CMIIW.

It is head shaking because why would Cointelegraph share a news update if they knew it was fake? They could have a lawsuit charged against them if they did this which they also knew will certainly pump the market. I am beginning to speculate that it might be a leak, however, the next ETF scheduled for approval is Global X which makes the leak another head shaking occurrence.

739  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Mr. Bitcoin is about to go down big." - Jim Cramer on: October 24, 2023, 03:08:05 AM
he is a mad genius. I did a sale at 33333 today.

Congrats, on your sale mate.

As for Jim Cramer, yeah, if he makes predictions, the opposite is going to happen so it's better to really counter most of his self proclaim prophecy on bitcoin itself. On the other hand, if he did make another bold claims, then for sure expect another huge gains.  Cheesy

So we have to thank perma and anti-bitcoin like Jim, sometimes we need this kind of "entertainment" in the market.

He is not always against bitcoin and the cryptospace. He also becomes bullish and announces his bullishness when the market begins to be on a correction.

If you want close to 100% market timing to sell your coins, wait for Jim Cramer to announce that he is bullish on cryptocoins hehehehe.
740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blackrock ETF listed on the ticker index… perhaps it’s approved? on: October 24, 2023, 02:27:04 AM
For the record, I am not saying it’s approved 100%. So consider this post mostly for entertainment purposes only. Don’t go 100x long on Bitcoin because I am not 100% sure it means it approved.

Basically if you go to

https://www.dtcc.com/products/cs/exchange_traded_funds_plain_new.php

And scroll down to IBTC you will find the Blackrock iShares ETF trust.

So I am guessing since it got an actual ticker…. Perhaps it’s approved.

Along with that false report last week and all this bidding on Coinbase spot it seems someone got this news early.

Agreed and for entertainment purposes, I reckon the Cointelegraph employee who shared the fake news that Blackrock's ETF was going to be approved will receive a bonus on the end of the month and a promotion in the company hehehehe.

The occurrence from fake news to bullish for approval is very head scratching. Was it only fake news or was it really a leak?
