721  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoins kill Central Banks? on: April 26, 2021, 03:43:43 PM
If we are going to take consideration on what's best for a certain country, regardless if it is possible that bitcoin may take down central banks or not, it would be best if central banks would remain dominant over bitcoin. If ever bitcoin managed to collapse central banks and take over its place, a lot of detrimental effects towards the nations economy will surely follow afterwards. Also, central banks are capable enough of restricting cryptocurrency use or decreasing it since the government is at the top of their heads that's why I think there's no chance bitcoin will be able to eliminate central banks anytime soon.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Fee on: April 26, 2021, 03:01:42 PM
During April, I saw a tremendous increase in bitcoin transaction fee. I think there are enough people who want to make fast transaction that they are willing to pay miner more than usual. Quite a few people seem in a hurry to get their turn for confirmation in the next block, so anyone who wants to send a small transaction has to be patient for a longer turn. I hope the mempool can be cleaned up as soon as possible, but if the panic of trader and investor continues then maybe these expensive fee will last longer.

Here are some of the data I collect from https://privacypros.io/tools/bitcoin-fee-estimator/ about bitcoin transaction fee.

As we can observe, other than having a higher value right now, the individuals who gets involved in bitcoin is also improving. That can be one of the reason why the transaction fees became much higher than before. If you are just a small time bitcoin owner, it will bring you into disadvantage so you should somehow find a way on how you can make things work regardless of the situation. One effective way to transfer money from bitcoin to someone is through converting it on a certain cryptocurrency that has low transaction fee. If it would still be inconvenient, might as well wait till the money you are transferring is much higher so that the fee would atleast be worth the transaction.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction fee much higher than what I will be sending on: April 26, 2021, 01:59:24 PM
Way back, the transaction fee was not as high as to what we have right now, it is quite disappointing witnessing bitcoin and ethereum charging so high right now whenever you are sending money. Well, modern problems would require modern solutions that's why you can see many who converts their bitcoin or ethereum to other coins with low transaction fees before sending it to someone. Also, it is not really ideal to send small of amount of money since what may occur may become the same as you experienced wherein the transaction fee is much higher compared to the money you are sending. It would be best if you only make transactions when a huge amount of money is to be transferred.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My warning for you all. Alt season will begin soon!!! ALT SEASON STARTED!!! on: April 26, 2021, 12:38:17 PM
Although it seems that the alt season has already started, it's quite risky to invest on such considering the fact that their prices are already too high. Most of the time, altcoin's value follows bitcoin's volatility and with that being said altcoin might get dragged down together when bitcoin suddenly experiences downfall. Still, there is a chance that as bitcoin goes down, altcoins will keep on rising up so you are free to choose whether you will take the risk or lose the chance. Either way, you should make yourself responsible on whatever you'll be deciding and make sure you take the best and wisest strategy to win on your investment.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: April 26, 2021, 12:00:10 PM
There are many reasons why most of the people prefer investing in government controlled investments instead of investing in crypto. One of which is the fact that crypto, regardless of the fame and the noise it made all over the world, is not yet recognized by everyone already. Also, there are some countries who are not yet considering crypto as a legal currency. Another thing is the fact that they are not knowledgeable enough that's why they choose to stick to the usual since it is too risky entering an investment that you have no idea about. Sooner or later, crypto or bitcoin specifically might end up under the government as they make regulations with regards to the investment in it so it will be best if we would make the most of it while that time hasn't come yet.

728  Economy / Economics / Re: BETWEEN BITCOIN AND ECONOMIC VALUE OF TIME on: April 22, 2021, 05:47:54 PM
because time can change circumstances, can provide advantages or disadvantages: v because being patient can produce good results
Indeed time is of the essence in every aspects of life but if would relate it on bitcoin, time is much more valuable than we think it is. Even with just a span of a year investing or holding your bitcoin, you can already see and feel the effect in either positive or negative way. Bitcoin's function will give more importance to time as it gets developed over years. We may seem to ignore the existence of bitcoin at the moment because of the limitations and boundaries it cannot cross but in the near future, we will surely witness how time became one of the primary ingredient for our success with the help of bitcoin and other crypto.
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin last till infinity on: April 22, 2021, 05:07:22 PM
I believed that bitcoin will not last because of government policy is against bitcoin and many people is seeing bitcoin as a scam, so with such points I don't think bitcoin will stay till 2030, and if bitcoin stay till then that means it will stay till further notice.
Please am not here to criticised cryptocurrency but from the attacks government attacks crypto I think such will come in reality.

Actually, the government in some countries has a hidden agenda towards cryptocurrencies. Some are just pretending that they are against it but in reality, they are secretely storing up crypto inside their national banks. In terms of predicting how long will bitcoin prevail, we can never be certain since no one can ever predict what the future holds. If we're going to rely on the probability that bitcoin can last our whole lifetime, considering its position and capability right now, the probability is high that it will. Instead of wondering until when will it last, maybe it would be best that we make the most from it while it last, trying is much better than regret.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto will be a trend, Momentum for replace fiat currency in the future? on: April 21, 2021, 05:58:23 PM
During this pandemic, the rate of cryptocurrency adoption is accelerating. Fiat currency will disappear as the use of cryptocurrency increases. The reason more and more people are using cryptocurrency is its function as a reliable hedge for value during Covid-19 as it is today. That way fiat currencies can be replaced by cryptocurrencies, one of which is a 1: 1 stablecoin with a fiat currency such as USD. In the end, stablecoins could replace fiat currencies, although it will still take some time.

How do you respond and analyze to future cryptocurrency trends?
The pandemic really made cryptocurrency more accessible and convenience for many but considering the current situation as a transition for cryptocurrency on replacing fiat cannot be supported or be made certain yet. Cryptocurrency may be considered as a very useful currency but knowing the limit and restriction it imposes, it can never replace fiat for now. Maybe in the future, through massive developments, we may really end up witnessing crypto taking over the world where it is used more often than fiat and people are already comfortable and dependent on the convenience and benefit it gives off to them.
731  Economy / Economics / Re: Out of Reach on: April 21, 2021, 05:08:58 PM
My understanding was that the target for the minimum amount of Bitcoin which most
people wanted to own was/is 1BTC in our current bull market that target becomes
more out of reach for the people who most need it.

As an investment Bitcoin is a very friendly  asset for the nit so wealthy classes. There
is no minimum purchase amount and each and every one of us gets to hold our investment
if we want.

We all like to see Bitcoin rise in value and increase in adoption but its pushing it away from
the people who need it and into the people who control large portions of wealth.

A bit of a conundrum...
We cannot blame bitcoin from being far from our reach. We had our chances way back, it can be during the first few years of bitcoin or those time where its value is still very low, and we let that slip away just because we are afraid and we doubted that bitcoin can become successful. It could be anybody's goal, to reach and own even just a single but for the mean time, we should not set aside even the smallest amount of bitcoin because it has a lot of potential of increasing considering the growth of bitcoin. On the other hand, it surely feel good if you are one of those few person who were able to store and hold their bitcoin right or near from the beginning up until now.
732  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin the best one to invest in? Or am i too late? :( on: April 21, 2021, 04:09:10 PM
Hi
I was just wondering if it was too late to invest into Bitcoin atm?
Or should i invest into a different crypto.
Been through a few threads some say it is some say it isnt.
Please help
Thanks.
If we will compare the value of bitcoin way back it started to what it has right now, we can say that it is really too late if you or planning on investing through holding. It is still at the top of being one of the best place for investment regardless of how high the value it has attained over the years. Some are saying that the bull run is already over while some people say it is not yet over so don't commit panic selling. If you are planning on investing on bitcoin right now, it would be best if you'll see its value go down first before entering, or if you are confident that the bull run is indeed not yet over, then go ahead and invest already. Just be aware of the regrets that your decision may lead you.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is wrong? on: April 21, 2021, 03:39:39 PM
Since Gates last appreciation regarding crypto back in 2018 when he said that he would short BTC if there was and easy way to do it, Bill Gates recently described Bitcoin as a mania/bubble so he is still pessimistic, while others like Elon Musk have revealed that they believe not only BTC could rise exponentially in value.

Who's right? Let's discuss.
Both sides have different opinions with regards to the matter and we should respect that specially the position they achieved in life. On the other hand, we should not compromise the assessment or definition we set by ourselves when it comes to bitcoin. Everyone is entitled with their opinion but not everyone will agree to your opinion. Elon Musk and Bill Gates might have all the riches a million of people could attain their whole lives but that doesn't mean you need to listen and believe them right away. Regardless of what perspective they are siding on, either pessimistic or optimistic about bitcoin, you have all the capability to determine which side do you think is right depending on your experiences and observation.
734  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe history repeat itself? Economic wise. on: April 21, 2021, 03:14:40 PM
High inflation driving everybody insane. The guy who is running out of money to keep up with the expenditure are pushing themselve to gambling their cash on everything possible, stock market, crypto, commodity. The cycle can be seen in years of the past. It’s not a untold story.
Food price is surely soaring. Some items in the online store soaring in price too, can’t you ignore it wouldn’t impact your daily routine, the inflation drag everybody down into the rabbit hole, no one can escape this chaos.
As long as greed exists, this kind of cycle will never end. Equality will never be achieved no matter what, there will always be someone who would stay on the top as they make use and abuse those who are below them. History is not repeating itself because what happened before never changed up until now. No desperate man can ever end this kind of system, he will be outnumbered each time. It is still survival of the fittest ever since so if you really want to survive, build yourself as a predator, not a prey. No one will escape this chaos, you can only become capable of getting through with it till the end of your life.
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin creates bond and trust among its users on: April 21, 2021, 02:34:06 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency that is not tangible, but people transact on it on daily bases, how is it possible ???it is only possible because bitcoin build trust among saler and buyer of the currency.it takes trust to send money to someone's wallet and wait to receive the bitcoin in exchange ...what do you think
Trust can be the cause of someone's downfall if not handled to others with proper assessment. Even though bitcoin unites us to trust other users, it doesn't mean we should be careless on giving trust to others. Also, one of the main reason why bitcoin is continuously being transacted each day is because of the benefit it gives to the users as it keeps on moving from peer-to-peer. Enhancing you're suspicion over other people whenever making a transaction is never a bad thing, you are just being precautious of the risks they impose towards you which is the possibility that they are frauds who are baiting you.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full of get-rich-quick opportunities at Bitcointalk on: April 21, 2021, 08:15:46 AM
There will be instances where you get fortunate over other people's recommendation but you should not be too confident about those cause it might cost lots of money the next time you do. Indeed, bitcointalk offers a lot of get-rich-quick opportunities but you should be aware of the risks as you enter it. Remember always that there are a lot of scammers in the forum that silently waits for their prey which are mostly newbies or careless individuals so that they can feed a lot of money for them. Predictions are only predictions, you can never be fully certain about since you are just still predicting, next time, try playing much smarter or make your own strategy.
737  Economy / Economics / Re: Big test for Bitcoin during the next Economic Collapse. on: April 21, 2021, 07:21:18 AM
I am starting to believe that Satoshi created Bitcoin for what’s coming next, or might come next. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, I’m not sure about the rest of the countries, but the United Stated Federal Reserve prrrrinted inordinate amounts of U.S. Dollars to stimulate the economy, with plans to print trillions more under President Biden. All the prrrrinting and a falling GDP MIGHT be the seeds for the worst situation of an Economic Crisis. HYPERINFLATION.

Bitcoin has been criticized as a medium “for speculation”. Big test. Is it just merely “for speculation”, or an actual “safe haven”? Will Bitcoin crash together with the rest of the economy, or will everyone run to it as a Store of Value?

Well as you can see, bitcoin at first was just used merely for speculation, but as time passes by, its use keeps on changing and now it is becoming more of a safe haven for huge institution and even government organizations at some point. It may be considered as a smart move by satoshi if ever bitcoin becomes compatible as a stabilizer or a tool for survival in the economic struggle the world may face as the consequences of this pandemic. If ever that is the case, it would be best that we prepare ourselves through investing in bitcoin and making sure that we can secure our future whenever the trouble comes for all of us.
738  Economy / Speculation / Re: I Sold.... BITCOIN Bull Run Is Over.... on: April 20, 2021, 05:23:08 PM
There are many bad news about btc i sold it before it tooo late.
stay strong people!
It's not a good move I think because even though bitcoin is starting to dump already once again, considering the value it was able to achieve, we can already say the possibility is high that it will experience bull run once again. There are only two things you may get after panic selling, first is regret as you see bitcoin regain its value or hit a new all time high and the next thing is relief, as you witness bitcoin falling down hard after the consecutive all time highs that it was able to make. Nevertheless, next time it would be best not to react instantly on a situation, instead you should assess what might be the best thing to do.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: April 20, 2021, 04:55:20 PM
There is too much leverage and too much potential profits in crypto space today which makes me feel like I'm reliving the 2017/2018 era once again, forget the big institutions investing money on crypto, those who bought at 4000$ per BTC are already millionaires/billionaires, you can't expect them not to take profit, be prepared
It was really like the year 2017 and 2018 era that we are living in today but it is quite different at some point since bitcoin was able to surpass much more than we expected right now and the occurence of its bull run is way longer compared to what it has experienced from the past. Surely, there are a lot of people who instantly became millionaires after holding their bitcoin even after witnessing it dump way back 2018. They held on their faith on bitcoin and look where they were able to go because of it. There are still possibilities that bitcoin and other crypto might dump once again but it would be best if we are going to prepare while we still can.
740  Economy / Economics / Re: Government policies help to grow the price of bitcoin on: April 20, 2021, 04:17:59 PM
At some point, we can somehow say that the government is playing dirty when it comes to bitcoin. They make sure to buid a facade that would make people believe that they are against the use of it and would never support it when in fact, they secretely storing the country's money because they are aware of the potential that bitcoin has. Though not all the government in a global scale has this kind of strategy since as we can all see, there are countries that are really against the use of bitcoin as they see it as an economic threat. On the other hand, maybe some of their policies are a part of their routine on how they can gain more benefits from bitcoin in the future.
