I wish, but I'm definitely nowhere near being a "whale" but since I'm very security conscious(or paranoid), I still separate my funds.
I don't know, but .1 BTC is still a significant amount. Around $1,100 in today's prices. I'd personally still separate the funds. In the end though, it really also depends on the owner. If you're a holder and you really don't spend your bitcoin, ever, then store everything on a paper/hardware wallet.
Yes, separating funds is good and crypto investors should do it. However, I still don't agree that we have to separate funds and store part of them in phones. It's too risky, because there is another reason that we might more easily to lose our phones than computers or laptops. In my nations, there are still very limited real use cases for crypto that I can use my phone to pay expenses. I always sell my bitcoin or other coins from my computers.  |

There are some main characteristics to apply as a merit source:
- Good reputation & contributions.
- Actively use the forum in some boards.
- Actively spread their sendable merits to diversifying forum users.
Who can satisfy (at least they feel they satisfy those requirements), can make their merit source applications, and wait for months to know results.
I observe so many merit source applications, and most of them took months to be accepted. In my observation, I don't know which application rejected or not, I only know when applications accepted and applicants became merit sources.
Recent months, there are more new merit sources for local boards.

I agree with you, but it seems right with whales. For small crypto investors, for example, someone who have just 0.1 BTC, he or she does not need to separate small fund into pieces on phone and hardware wallet. In such case, it is always bad idea to store fund on phones, IMO. |

I don't join the campaign, but I have my perspective like this: Flag or Trust, their main purpose is to protect forum users in particular, and crypto investors in general. Hence, if later days or weeks, if there are official threads from forum staffs (I don't think they will open such threads) or DT members (most likely we might see it if real scam projects proven), it will be a strong warning for supporters of Livecoin - for example (or whatever projects). In my experience, when such things happen, DT members will give supporters an acceptable period to remove their avatar and signature. I said this because I saw that approach occured with DuckDice's campaign months ago. Please don't apply this signature, may be DT will tag your account. Whoever currently wearing signature please remove within 72 hours otherwise may be you will got tag. Do not apply until solve accusation. OP and Escrow holder already got tag.

For now, I think that we should not discuss about it in the thread, and should not immediately judge supporters as scammers. |

I never use crypto wallets on my phone or any kind of wallets on mobile devices, such as tablets. Mobile devices are always more vulnerable to potential threats. Moreover, those devices have limited screen, so they are less convenient for users, and sometimes might more easily cause wrong typing, order making, transaction moving, and so forth. |

Carefulness relates to so many things:
- Read and learn how to install, and back up wallets & seeds/ private keys
- Read and learn to activate and backup 2FA codes.
- Read and learn to use hardware wallets (if possible).
- Only get links to download wallets from official sites, and try to avoid installing wallets from new-born projects (if don't have skills to test potential threats).
- Try to minimize tradings on mobile devices (because on such devices, traders are more easily to type wrong numbers or wrongly click on buttons, then make wrong orders).
Patience relates to:
- Buying (waiting long enough to see coins drop and get cheap prices to enter).
- Selling (waiting long enough to see good high prices to take profits).
- Patience enough to use time to verify news you read or hear to avoid fake news that can force you to make wrong decisions.

We want to save funds without any risks. That's why hardware wallet is extremely important. But to exchange, exchange is needed. We can get a lot of protection from malware by trusted exchanges. If newbie look into these two issues, he/she will be able to save the capital and sleep in peace at night. They must be kept in mind
Do you? If your computer and phone are infected, there is nothing keeping the hacker from getting access to your accounts/wallets. Because forums or exchanges can only provide users their security protection, but they can not guarentee anything if users have unhealthy habits and put their devices under threats. The healthier behaviours on Internet space you have, the safer your devices, your identities, and your funds are.
You can spend funds to buy whatever antivirus or Internet security softwares for your devices, but their database have to upgrade regularly to keep your devices safely. Sometimes, database of software providers are not relevantly updated to newest harmful threats and your devices will be under risks of attacks if you have unhealthy habits. Basically, such softwares are unable to completely to secure your devices for sure.

I meant, you should not over use different sites that give you nearly the same thing. Personally, coinmarketcap.com is my favorite site, and I don't have intention to use other sites, like coingecko, and so on. It is obviously a personal favorite, but the more sites you visit, the higher risks you can fall into phishing sites.

I would request the forum admin ( theymos) to allocate some funds to the development of a sleek and beautiful mobile application I am sure that it is not a priority of admin, but not sure that it has been in to-do list of admin or not. On mobile devices, it is so hard to quote, strim unnecessary parts of quote, and takes more time to do such things (if someone really want to do it for their posts). I less regularly reply from my mobile devices, and whenever I do it, I often come back to those posts (if I have to quote something) when I log in my account on computer / laptop to strim unused parts of quotes.

During last few months, effects from Elon Musk's tweets are much bigger than McAfee's tweets. As I stated so many times in the past that it is extremely ridiculous to see Binance did not list Dogecoin on their site at beginning and many months later. Finally, that day came to Dogecoin. IMO, I don't think Binance listing is essential thing for Dogecoin, but yes the listing has its effects and we can enjoy it now. |
