Thanks for your clarification, LoyceV. From now on, I will use assumed calendar days in GTM time. It would have been much more considerate if theymos would have sent the first Merit at midnight exactly To take away all doubt: the first Merit was this one: 1516831941 1 2818066.msg28853325 35 877396 Use EpochConverter to convert 1516831941 (Unix Time) to GMT: Wednesday 24 January 2018 22:12:21.
- Assumed calendar days in GMT time. I have still used the term 'assumed calendar days in GMT time' due to they are not exactly days in GMT time. For instance: The first day is 24/1/2018, which actually lasted for around 1 hours till the launch timepoint of merit system. Whilst, the first day of LoyceV dataset is counted from the timepoint of first merit sent to 24 hours later. - I think used 'assumed' is nearly acceptable for now.

I known, hence I used 'assumed' calendar days. < ... >
And, in your another post, you disclosed that it maybe Dutch time. I started the day the second AdolfinWolf received the first Merit from theymos (Wed Jan 24 23:12:21 2018) (I think this is Dutch time, not forum time). I known that it's better if I can pinpoint exactly calendar time, but even Theymos have not cared about that (I remembered that I read Theymos' opinion at this point some place in the forum). One more thing, if I used these assumed calendar days in Dutch time, the first day is probably incomplete day.
To sum up, I think that it's acceptable to call it as assumed calendar days in Dutch time with a note.

Satoshi's lessonFor someone who have not been stucked with campaign, and truly love bitcoin, it is one of good way to celebrate its birthday. I also known another guy who spent considerable time to learn about crypto and achieved significant sweety results months later the day he/ she joined the crypto world. iasenko (a Self-made Senior Member for now), and his/ her inspring postYou know what Satoshi did? He spent 2+ years contemplating every possible aspect of the system he could think of, and wrote code that worked brilliantly in the real world.
The sentence insprires me a lot. I am almost a newbie in the crypto world, based on my knowledge, skills, and experience I have had till now; but I will definitely improve myself to survive in the crypto world, and to contribute some days later when I have enough experience to do it. Satoshi's lesson is that you don't need to be the next Einstein in order to change the world. < ...> This is what makes Satoshi and his work my greatest inspiration.
Another inspriring case study is hal Finney and his last topic in the forum, Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney)
To celebrate the 10th birthday of bitcoin, I think that the most meaningful way is spending a couple of minutes to remember who dedicated their time to develop bitcoin and bring cryptography into real life usages; and reading their topics again.

The topic, namely Satoshi's lesson (released by Theymos) as his way to celebrate the tenth birthday of Bitcoin. One more time, this topic is not a course, but it contents essential information, sources to learn more on bitcoin. This one is the utmost important thing that any crypto enthusiast has to read carefully.

By saying 'normal range', I meant those recent weeks have not stood beyond the range from Q1 - 1.5*IQR and Q3 + 1.5*IQR, or not above 6652 nor below 2080. Updates:Daily merits in the forum, from 24/01/2018 to 23/12/2018 Thanks LoyceV for all data updates last three weeks. Notes:- I dropped the last 4 days (the last day is incomplete day) from your dataset in order to have full weeks for my analysis - Assumed calendar days are in Dutch time. ABSTRACT (for truncated dataset) 1) 50% of observed days (since 19/02/2018 to 23/12/2018) have its total daily merits below 619 (the median) or higher than 619. 2) Importantly, 50% of observed days have their total daily merits in the range from 515 to 767, which is the interquartile range that ranges from the 25th quartile (Q1) to the 75th quartile (Q3). 3) The minimum and maximum daily merits during the period are 316 and 2463, respectively. 4) Potential outliers are days that have total merits above 1144 or below 138.5) About medians of merits over days of week, Monday is the highest with 666 merits distributed on Mondays in medians, and Friday is the lowest with the median of Friday merits is 539. There are nearly 24% (23.56%) difference between the medians of Friday and Monday. There are two days that have medians lower than 600, Friday (539) and Saturday (581) 6) Interestingly, within the last three weeks, we have seen the new All-Time-Low, at 316 merit on 22/12/2018. 1) Daily meritsIt is easily to see that the median of truncated dataset has gradually decreased, 619 for now, and a little bit lower than 626 [median of the period from 19/2/2018 to 02/12/2018, shown in the below image] Box plotsa) Box plot of daily merits since 24th January 2018 to 23th December 2018, at specific weeks, within periods after and before 19/2/2018- Merit after: presents statistics of the whole period from 19/2/2018 to 23/12/2018; - Merit before: presents statistics for the period from 24/1/2018 to 18/2/2018; - Merit: presents statistics for merit during the whole period, from 24/1/2018 to 23/12/2018; - w31 presents statistics of the period that started on 30/7/2018 to the end of the week31 (on 05/8/2018); and so on for w32, w33, ..., w51. b) Box plot of daily merit, at specific weeks, and within the period since 19/2/2018The plot has better display than of the above. In reality, we only pay attention on the merit distribution after truncating outliers on days before 19/2/2018. What we got here? The days of week that have lowest and highest means of totally merits are Friday and Monday, at 606 and 761 merits distributed, respectively. It means there are (761 - 606) = 155 merit difference or the Wednesday have nearly 26% (25.57%) total merits higher than the Friday. Personally, it is a dramatical difference. . di (761-606)*100/606 25.577558
Now, how about median difference? The days of week that have lowest and highest medians of totally merits are Friday and Monday, at 539 and 666, respectively. It means that there are (666-539) = 127 merit points diference between the Friday and Monday. In other words, there are nearly 24% (23.56%) difference between the medians of Friday and Monday.. di (666-539)*100/539 23.562152

I vote for banning signature and one question. What is the difference of a temporary signature ban to an amount of merit they should earn?
Required merits to back to normal status will lead to massively merit abusements. Of course, abusers will be found, get punished later, but I don't like the idea. It is so ridiculous if a old accounts (Hero or Ledgendary) does not know about forum rules on plagiarism. Therefore, they deserves perma bans if they intentionally and lazily violate forum rules, especially on plagiarism. For Newbies, it does not matter with them if they got permanent bans, I believe.
