15 more Merits are available only for Newbies and Jr. Members. Make sure to read the rules and apply only if you respect them.
You made a good work, fella.
My challenge has not attracted so many applicants, so I have nearly nothing to do with my sMerits.
Today, I give you 6 sMerits, then you can use them to help others happily with their works, and rewarded merits.

Legendary - .010 btc/week

Latest announcements:
I have an open full member and sr member slot

Then, brand new and newbies came, spammed, and asked for joining.

In short, self-modoration might be a necessary management in bounty topics.
To be honest, I have never been a bounty manager, so I am not sure the self moderation might lead to complaints from candidates, participants or not.

I think set some local rules are appropriate:
- Applications from brandnew, newbies or unjoinable ranks (depends on each campaign) will be deleted without announcement.
- Applications when no open slots announced will be deleted too (but I doubt that managers will spend their time to deleted such applications).

7869  Other / Meta / Re: [SUGGESTION] Campaigns Should Be Self Moderated - Edited on: March 23, 2019, 04:10:53 AM
Self-moderation in bounty topics is a good option
However, in short, for bounty hunters, why not simply follow the last posts of campaign managers to find what they wanted?
It is my favorite approach when I hunt for bounties.  Roll Eyes

If you want to invest, invest in your own business before you invest in other people business.
It's not right, fella.
There are not too many people who run their own businesses.
Not all of us are business entrepreneurs.
But, you made a good point to recommend investing into businesses are better than gambling.
7871  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: wallet .dat on: March 23, 2019, 03:59:05 AM
I don't know how I did it, but I often suffer from a tumor or forget about it. I find myself with the files of the wallet darkraven 3000 xrd to those who help me please either Italian or German or a brsvo s cspire goggle
First, you should express your issues better, in better English I meant.
I have some hints for you:
(1) Go to coinmarketcap.com or Google to search for topic of your coin (Dark Raven, for instance) in order to get link to its newest wallet version.
I can not find it on CMC (maybe it has not listed there), from Google Search, I found something, but not sure they are what you need.
(2) Download the latest wallet version.
(3) Install that wallet to your computer (it mostly installed in the same directory with oldest version if you choose default option for directory).
(4) Open it again, then you will all done (let your wallet some minutes / hours to sync).
However, remember that if your old wallet.dat encrypted, you have to type password to fully access it (send coins, for example) after install and open it.
If you can not remember password, all your coins in that wallet.dat gone.

Good luck.

I think investment is not the same as gambling. In investment, you can cut-loss anytime, where in gambling, if you lose, you lose all of your bet. But it's true, they're risky as hell (depends on what kind of investment you use tho). But in crypto, in general anything is risky as hell.
Agreed.
They are not exactly the same, but what I implied is whichever you do, investing or gambling, not all-in.
It's the point.
Gamblers should not all-in gamble in only one bet order.
Investors should not all-in invest in one asset, even with Bitcoin, LOL.

Update:
One week passed, and they finished their works.
There is nothing to do with this case study, since today.
Dropped from $0.75 to $ 0.032 during nearly 7 days, that equals to about 95.7% loss.

The OP forgot or has not known about the Brave browser and way to get free BAT by using Brave Browser.
Income is not too much, but it is passive, and additional income for Brave browser's users.
It is just for fun, and you can use such passive income to drink some cup of coffee, hang out with your girl friends, with your kids to pay merry-go-round fees.
You can not rich, but can get something for small fees.

Win or loss, addicted or just for fun.
It totally depends on each person approach.
You can not draw such very general statement for all like this.

Now, let's look back at investment, not gambling.
We all know that we should not all-in invest in anything, but there are so limited investors can obey the fundamental rule, right?
It is the same for gamblers and gambling area as well as gaming areas and gamers.
7876  Economy / Reputation / Re: Promotion with merit system and new rank requirements. It's possible. on: March 23, 2019, 02:46:21 AM
Finished!
Today, I updated the OP with the six point, on English requirements to effectively join the forum.
I think it is one of the first priorities of forum users when they participate the forum.
(6) Spend your time to improve your English, especially Reading and Writing skills
Reasons:
- If you can not read posts or topic in English well, can not get ideas of posts' / topics' authors, it means that you have nothing to do in the forum.
Remember that you have to get their ideas well enough to not misunderstand their core ideas.
- Next, after reading good enough to catch authors' ideas, it is time for you to express your own ideas in case you have something to ask for help, something to discuss, or something meaningful to help others. This is the time you need to have good enough Writing skill.
This is why I mentioned you should improve your English skills, step by step, from Reading to Writing. Of course, you can improve both skills simultaneously.
The forum is the place almost solely for discussions via Reading and Writing.
You can find available sources for English learning in the References at the end of this OP.

Actually, Theymos is thinking about having some coins made for the 10th anniversary and giving them away. No joke. I don't think they will be loaded with all of the donated BTC, however.

Ah, I known it, he asked for ideas and help from community weeks ago.
Collectibles, something like this.
7878  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BitBlender Signature Campaign | Up to 0.0003BTC/Post | Member - Legendary on: March 23, 2019, 02:30:36 AM
Congratulations to the three participants who ranked up to Sr. Member!
I am one of those three, but unfortunately, after @DireWolfM14 ranked up and took Senior Member slot two or three weeks ago, there is no available slot for that rank.
Anyway, there are 5 Full Members (if I remembered well) ranked up after the day they joined the campaign.
It means that @Hhampuz actually chose quality participants, and their promotions confirm lots of things.

By the way, today I rechecked the OP, and found this one:
It seems that the current rules don't mention about boards/ child boards in which posts will not be counted, like this:
Quote
*Posts in this thread, off-topic as well as Games & Rounds won't count towards the 20post minimum.
So, I guessed the manager forgot to add that rule.  Tongue

Best wishes for all participants, manager, and for the BitBlender project.
I hope we can have a year-long campaign.  Grin
7879  Other / Meta / Re: [RUIN THE FUN] Possible April Fools Ideas Of Theymos on: March 23, 2019, 02:22:27 AM
theymos will say:
"I have good news for you all bitcointalkers.
Today, I decided to give away all my donated bitcoin that need ages to hit current amount.
It is a fortune, but I made my decision to give them away, because I will fully live rest of my life as a minimalist.
Anyone have enough trust point, skills, experience, contributions, and been here for ages, please contact me to take over the administrator role from me when accepted.
I will start my new life, without bitcointalk.org, without bitcoin, without crypto, when all these mentioned give-aways finished"
7880  Other / Meta / Re: [RUIN THE FUN] Possible April Fools Ideas Of Theymos on: March 22, 2019, 03:31:38 PM
-He renames the place grincointalk.
-He closes meta.
-He charges a fee to have access to the bounties section.
-He makes cryptohunter a global mod.
-He makes Lauda an admin.
-He gives mods access to members ips and asks them to ban all alts.
-He changes the whole rank system and makes it based on merits earned only, which means many high rank members go back to being low rank members.
Lol, he won't do too much works for the April Fool.
He might say "Since today, I lose my faith in Bitcoin, I sell all my Bitcoin and will join, and fully work with Bitcoin Cash team to develop it as one of core team members."
