7981  Other / Meta / Re: Time Series Analysis on Distributed Merits in the forum (daily, weekly, monthly) on: March 09, 2019, 07:55:25 AM
I thank you, LoyceV for the week's data dump.
It is clearly that intra-day merits over last seven days rose a little bit.
I believe it is partially caused by several merit source applications in Polish board.

Converted intra-day merits for days in 2019.
Code:
. list id merit date day month2 year week month dofw if year == 2019

there is no active connection with the dogecoin network. Can someone help pls? Shocked
Please stop kidding, noob.
If there is no active connection on the Dogecoin network.
There are bunches of online casinos will start crying as well as gamblers and investors.
Dogecoin has been one of oldest coins in crypto, it has been there for ages, and strongly survived thoroughly so many most terrible crashes in more than 10-year history of crypto.  Wink

I think Mt. God hack was very surprising.
Of course, Mt. God hack is a big surprise.
I have never heard or seen Mt. God hack, before seeing your post.
You obviously made a typo, fella. It should be Mt. Gox, not Mt. God.  Grin

LOL. It looks like that I started a hot topic, that might long-last over weeks or months.  Roll Eyes
To be honest with you all, I don't really care about Trust system, because it is too complicated to me.
Of course, for someone who are famous, reliable in the forum, with or without Trustscore, they will always be well-known.
Trustscore is only make sense when I see some accounts the first time, I don't know who are they, how about their reliablity.
In such cases, Trust score makes lots of sense.

After three weeks, I have another inspirational story for you.
This time, cryptogivi promoted to a Senior Member hours ago.
I am impressed with what he reached, so I scanned his merit history, and luckily see the story that told his journey to be a self-made Full Member.
Here you go:
„Self made” Full member thanks to Theymos? Not exactly, but in a sense…
I also added the story to the OP.

7989  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you think is the most surprising thing in the History of Bitcoin? on: March 08, 2019, 01:23:30 PM
You are likely wrong at this point.
So far, no one knows that bitcoin was created more than ten years ago by a person, a group, or an organization.
No one knows.
The only one thing we known and have to admit is bitcoin created by outstanding guy/ group/ organization.
That bitcoin was created by only one person.
I agree with Jet Cash that the biggest achievements and biggest surprise is when bitcoin set up its few cents for the first time.
Everything have to start from somewhere, for bitcoin, it started for a few cents.

Even the pizza's buyer, he probably deeply regreted with his decision years later, but all crypto enthusiasts should give him a round of applause.
Without his decision, we would not see bitcoin hit nearly $20000 last year.
7990  Other / Meta / Re: ✔️ GREEN THEME/STYLE for Bitcointalk.org | 2019 on: March 08, 2019, 01:15:08 PM
Appreciated the OP's works.
However, I don't think that your theme is good, or at least user-friendly.

Personally, the current interface of the forum is good. I like its simplicity.
Simplicity of the forum interface should be maintained.
I have only one suggestion:
- If theymos care about that, he should allow forum users two options for global font styles:
(1) Time News Roman, as we currently have.
(2) Fonts without serifs or san-serifs.
I would prefer to vote for the second option.
At the moment, threads/ posts composers can choose font styles for their works, but I want to see option for the whole forum.
7991  Other / Meta / Re: How many banned users have you merited? on: March 08, 2019, 01:08:10 PM
I known.
I don't know how the graph creator made it, but the graph should have two x-axis scales, right?
The current one is likely for un-banned newbies, I guess.
There are two graphs overlap each other, but it should have two x-axis scales.
Only the lighter color represents banned Newbies, so the small top of the graph.
It would indeed be better to draw them at the bottom of the graph.
Or if only one x-axis scale used, the graph (lighter color) for banned newbies should be in the bottom, below the darker one, as you said.

You are welcome, my friend.
I known you due to we are in the same campaign, nothing more.
Moreover, I admired you so much due to your earned merits. That's why I created the topic.
Thanks tranthidung for posting this.
Back and forth red trust tagging should never be used.
It is trust abusement, even trust is not moderated in the forum.

Hhampuz had a good point about not leaving "back and forth" trusts, so I won't do that going forward. The situation seems to be resolved. And thanks to everybody else for coming to my Reputation thread.

7994  Other / Meta / Re: How many banned users have you merited? on: March 08, 2019, 01:32:59 AM

Great initiative to dig deeper finding what happened due to the demotion of Junior Members in September 2018.
In the chart above, there is a break point in mid of September. I think that it makes lot of sense.
After the demotion implemented, there were massive merit abusements in the forum, lots of Junior Members demoted got promoted again due to merit abusements.
Personally, there is a hypothesis that massive newbies got their first merits due to merit abusements after Sep. 2018, or due to their successfully pseudo-quality posts.
Eventually, most of them got banned.

The chart probably presents wrong x-axis scale, you stated there are 1934 newbies got banned, but the chart shows nearly 10k newbies got banned.
You should clarify it a little bit if the chart is right, or should correct it if it is wrong.

7996  Economy / Reputation / Re: nutildah got red trust recent hours. Is the red trust fairly for him? on: March 08, 2019, 01:15:27 AM
Nope, iCEBBREAKER made repeatedly trolls in Monero, and others (DASH, for instance) for ages.
He also really hate BCash.
iCEBREAKER likes XMR. nutildah made fun of XMR.
For nutildah, it seems that his case solved for now. I don't know how his issues solved, but looks good for now, even there is no neutral trust/ feedback.
However, I thought that Hhampuz raise reasonable potential forces, his former red trust likely 'back-and-forth' trust between nutildah and iCEBREAKER.
That is at somewhat extent, Trust Abusement, in my standpoint.
I also asked nutildah to remove the negative feedback they had left for iCEBREAKER since at that point it only becomes a back and forth where everyone will lose.
Furthermore, it looks ridiculous to see someone got red trust due to support one of top altcoins, DASH. Roll Eyes
7997  Economy / Reputation / Re: nutildah got red trust recent hours. Is the red trust fairly for him? on: March 07, 2019, 03:38:44 PM
Please focus on the case of nutildah, because I really want to known that this case is Trust abusement or not.
If it is trust abusement, the case should be use in official guideline to leave + / - trust feedback.
Criteria to leave positive feedbacks, as well as criteria to leave negative feedbacks.

With official criteria for Trust Feedback, the forum might be cleaner due to less topics created to complain about their red trust.

I will open the challenge one more week, if nothing change dramatically, I will close the challenge and lock the topic.
Thank you.
7999  Economy / Reputation / Re: nutildah got red trust recent hours. Is the red trust fairly for him? on: March 07, 2019, 03:17:32 PM
For nutildah's situation, I'm reading the history of his feedback.
I waited for your final personal judgement on the case of nutildah as well as from others DT members.
Trust System is too complicated to me.
To be honest, I don't care too much about the Trust System, because I don't run services, and make deal with others here.
And, I only feel really trust someone when they have big amount of Trust points, above +30.
Too little positive or negative trust points might be abused, so should not be taken into consideration, seriously.

Despite of my limited understandings on Trust system, I still felt that current Red Trust on nutildah is a wrong one.
It's something like personal assasination.  Roll Eyes
