741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ? UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ? - Qualifiers on: September 22, 2023, 07:01:38 PM
As a fan of the Italian national football team, I sadly agree with you, unfortunately. I just hope that with the new coach Spalletti we will be able to do better or at least avoid making a bad impression.
Since we have a name and honor to defend, we cannot fail to participate in these competitions.

Unfortunately we have had a constant decline in the quality and quality of play, I can`t understand how this could have happened, but not participating in the European and World Cup hurt a lot.
Yes, I can only agree with you
in recent years we have collected bad figures
not qualifying for the world and European championships was a crazy bad impression
let's hope that Luciano Spalletti manages to reverse the trend
I would guess that it's more about not having some sort of system built in that players could get used to. When national teams gather around so rarely and all those players come from their teams, we could guess that it's hard to adjust to that life style.

But if you have a single manager for a long time, you could make the team play the same way for decades and that means the yare going to get used to it, even change the way players play at the league as well. He is an amazing manager and I bet that he is going to end up with Italy getting better thanks to him as well. I can't really see why not, he is good enough to change the club over again, not like they were bad just a few years ago, they will get better again quickly I think.
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 22, 2023, 05:34:52 PM
I think, AC Milan will still have their way in this match to defeat Verona in this match because they will like to do somethings that will make their fans believe that they have something good to achieve in this season. If Napoli coach can make use of their potential squads in this match, they will definitely achieve victory from Bologna despite they are going to meet them in their home.
Milan should be able to beat Verona, Lazio could beat Monza, Inter could beat Empoli, Atalanta could beat Cagliari, Napoli should DEFINITELY beat Bologna. These are the games I am going to bet on, it makes sense because it looks like it would be easy bets but obviously at least one of them will be wrong, it's always like that every week.

I am guessing that some part of me has something that I just can't see the situation and makes me think that I am betting on something that is easy to bet and easy to figure out and think that there is no way any of these teams would lose and make me lose my bet too, but then they do. In any case, this is my bet and I am hopeful that this week will be the week I finally get a good parlay.
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 22, 2023, 02:48:03 PM
As a Real Madrid fan, I only care about consistent wins, not the number of goals they score.
The key for madrid to win la liga is not about how much goals produced by the club but it's about how the club is consistently winning any game to get full points till the end of season.
Since vini was injured and i don't even put a lot of expectation for madrid to scoring as many goals as possible. Being able to consistently acquiring full points from another club is enough for me caused by real madrid is trying to win la liga title this season.

Barcelona still becomes the hardest competitor for real madrid. Even though bellingham's position was not a striker but he can also fill benzema's position as someone who would be really helpful in winning the club.
I don't wanna be trapped in the old memories once benzema was still there. We shall move on my friend. Madrid needs also determining its future.

Benzema is also getting older. The club must also find a new talent to replace him. Benzema is feeling so happy play in the saudi pro league.
That's so important, they could win the whole season with 1-0 results all a fan would care, as long as they get 3 points, it could be 9-8 results too and nobody would care, I mean that would be lovely because it would be chaotic and never seen before, but at the same time unrealistic. Real is still winning, it could be last minutes, it could be single goal, it could look unplanned and lucky, none of that matters as long as the result of the game is a win.

Real Madrid fans are lucky because they have seen more championships and titles just in the last 10 years let alone any before, then most fans have seen in their entire club existence. Which is why I feel like they have a lot of responsibility to uphold and be better.
744  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for September on: September 22, 2023, 09:51:20 AM
It seems to me that price manipulation is going on now. It can be said that the fall has been going on for several months, but the volatility is not big and there are pullbacks. Although September looks green on the monthly chart. That's good so far.
Yup, you might be right.  Low volatility and low volume makes for an easier market to manipulate.  Wink  But it's not totally manipulated, some of the price action comes from big buyers or sellers who move the price due to the volume they bring to the market.  It's the one in between that's being manipulated when traders run the stops.

But yeah, looks like there's not gonna be a 28k break out.  But then again as soon as I post this, the market starts ripping up again...  Watch.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
Well it is basically the proof that we do not know what the market is capable of doing, that is why I find that to be as normal as it gets. I get that it may not be that much of a big deal at this second but I think short term traders that do not understand it as much as us would be in big trouble. I am fine because I am not doing anything that is shocking, but that doesn't mean that I am not going to end up making any big changes.

Hopefully it would reach to a point where it goes up on the long term because even though I may not know what September will bring, I can hold for years and that means I could make it work better that way. It is going to end up with something that is much better and should be a big deal in the end.
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 21, 2023, 08:08:33 PM
What is the one behaviour you noticed in a gambler and  you dislike it? You don't need to have a reason for disliking it but you just do.

As for me I dislike when gamblers complain of their losses, meanwhile you hear them complain when they are getting winnings.

What about you, what do you dislike ?
The behavior that I don't like in a gambler is liking debt. They like to get into debt and promise to pay it off in the next few days, but never get paid, then come back and ask for another loan. This makes the friendship sour.

Plus, they only come when they need money, and when they win, they never tell me. I had a friend like that and our relationship is now distant and we rarely communicate anymore
This must be a terrible thing, if you can't hold your money and you are getting debt to gamble that is the worst thing ever. First of all, when you are getting debt, that means you must be paying it back, secondly if you are gambling with it, house always wins so you will most likely lose it, if you lose the money and need to pay it back, how can you do it? You will not be able to do it and that's the most important part.

I think it is quite important to realize that you are going to end up with a situation that is a lot worse and need to figure out a way to change it as much as you possibly could. I need to see you get better personally before I could trust you, and I would never give any money to any gambler ever.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the drive that makes women go into gambling? on: September 21, 2023, 06:46:59 PM
Socializing with other players might be the goal of gambling because by meeting other players, they can get to know each other and later, they can also make an appointment to meet again to gamble another day. Women will use many reasons why they are interested in gambling and may not want to reveal them to us. And that's okay because it's each woman's secret if they don't want to tell the truth. But with the development of the internet, women can gamble from their homes without going to the casino, which means they don't want to meet other people at the casino. They can just gamble from home and can do other activities while they only use gambling as a tool to get pleasure using money.
That is definitely a good idea. I mean a woman could have trouble in a casino filled with drunk man. Maybe some man could argue against it, I mean red pill mafia has grown way more than ever in history, so it is not going to end up with a lot of trouble, but if we are talking about a situation where we need to be realistic, if I was a woman I wouldn't want to be in a place filled with drunk men all around me.

There is absolutely no guarantee of safety in that situation, you just go with trust and hope nothing bad happens, or you could just gamble online and do not have to put yourself at that risk at all, there is 0% chance of anything going wrong there, well except you are going to lose your money either way lol.
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 21, 2023, 06:04:44 PM
Felix is really happy and from his performance and his facial expressions you will know that he is happy.
What Joao Felix has done so far has also made Barcelona happy and Barcelona's decision to respond well to his desire to play at this club has at least paid off, with the very little money they have spent in the transfer market and with what is currently being shown it is quite profitable for Barcelona, and the next thing is how they patented Joao Felix as a full Barcelona player.
Felix definitely living his dream, that was something he wanted for a very long time. I hope that he does well enough, feel like he could definitely do something that would make a lot of sense for him on the long run. I believe that we could see Barcelona growing a lot higher this way.

I mean the yare not spending the worlds on transfers, and getting players that actually want to play there. They are a big club with a great name and there are a lot of players that loves them, so they just pay the salary, and just a bit of transfer fee every year. They could just make it work in a way where they will end up with much and much less expense, and with their growing income from the success they get, they may repay the debt.
748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to sell? on: September 21, 2023, 05:36:15 PM
I didn't say that but in the interpretation it has the same meaning as the other point of view, it should be remembered that we are not involving altcoins here as a means of discussion in the context that the OP gave.
Following your response, the fact that we have been in a bearish phase for a long time until today which can be counted as more than two years, we agree that selling bitcoin at a price in a bearish phase (declining) is certainly a stupid decision, but this depends your personal situation and conditions. If you have a problem between life and death and you have no other money apart from the investment in bitcoin, the step you need to take is to sell the bitcoin you have to support yourself or your family, even if the situation is bearish and you experience a loss ( whenever that time is).
That has been said a million times and yet the crash is actually the proof itself that people sell. How do we think that we have come all the way down to 25k? People selling during the bear market made that happen, if they didn't sell then the price wouldn't have gone down, that's how market works, you have to sell to make it go down.

So, in a way we are saying that "you shouldn't sell during bear market" means you are not going to have a bear market at all, in order to see it low like this, they have to sell so we can buy at cheaper price. I would never do this, but I am not against others doing it, it allows me to make as much profit as I possibly could from it and makes me richer than I want to be thanks to them.
749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: September 20, 2023, 08:11:19 PM
The voting style in the US is very complex and has a long history.

In most other countries it's usually one vote per person, and then they just count it, in different ways sometimes, but basically one person, one vote in the end.

In the US, your vote could literally no matter at all, because they take the majority per "zone", with each "zone" having a certain weight in the final vote. It's weird.
I know that, the point is that it makes no sense at all. If republicans "really" think that people at New York or California would vote for them a lot more because they will finally have a say in this, and they think that there is a chance that they could win, then let the democrats get rid of this method and just go into popular vote. Imagine a world where you end up voting for someone 10+ more millions of votes, and they still lose the election, how does that make sense to them.

I get the whole "smaller states would have a say in this that way" but why? Why would a smaller state dictate what millions of people did not want? There is a possibility of someone who gets 75 million votes lose to someone with 65 million votes, so smaller states should dictate what that 10 million people can't have? Makes no sense to me.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 20, 2023, 07:42:09 PM
Of course KD is better than Dame, did I ever say something against that? That wasn't even the subject, you made it that.
Maybe you should read first what the discussion was about. You write totally unrelated stuff.

I said that OG posted absolute nonsense, saying Dame and KD are the same for wanting to go to a new team.
Dame  who is at bad team right now wants to go to a 44:38 team that isn't stacked at all, especially after a trade since they have to give up assets. KD went from a stacked conference finals team to a 73:9 even more stacked team. And these 2 situations are the same?

If you guys actually believe that I must say you have no clue about basketball at all.

I'm shaking my head for reals right now.
Dame definitely is not the same as KD, one of them wants to join Heat, which did made the finals but then lost and had a mediocre record at best. The other joined the 73-9 win Warriors to get the title, against a Lebron that carried a team which didn't even have a decent player aside from him and tanked right after he left as well. I feel like KD is the better player too, but what Dame is trying to do is understandable.

Plus, OKC did build a decent enough team that OKC almost won against Warriors that year, nobody talks about it but before Warriors lost from 3-1, OKC lost from 3-1 to warriors, one more win and Durant would be at the finals beating a 73-9 team as well, whereas Portland has never built a good team around Dame.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 20, 2023, 07:12:24 PM
Vitor Roque is a young player from Brazil who is starting to show excellent playing abilities and skills as a striker and while playing with Club Athletico Paranaense he became one of the young players who produced quite a lot of goals and wins.
It is not surprising that Barcelona is trying hard to really be able to recruit Vitor Roque and prepare all the aspects needed one of which is the budget for transfers and salaries.
Yes maybe winning all the matches in the Champions League could help Barcelona collect some money and immediately bring in Vitor Roque because this recruitment takes up quite a large budget or there is another way by selling several players that they don't contribute to the team but by Selling players to bring in Vitor Roque looks like Xavi will definitely not do that.
That would not be a bad transfer to be fair, but that's a transfer that is not guaranteed success neither. They have to get him, play him in a few games, like maybe 10, and then see if they are going to be good or not. I believe that they are doing fine so far and that has to be something that they need to care about.

I know that it is not going to be an important case, we could end up with a situation where they could get him, pay for him, even with all their financial troubles, and then end up not playing him if he turns out to be good. All their players they had hopes for, fati, dembele and such, all went away after they didn't get what they wanted out of them so one more bad transfer wouldn't be the end of them.
752  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Buy-Sell BFG on BetFury | 🔥Fury Pharaoh - New In-house Slot on: September 20, 2023, 03:49:10 PM
Burning portions of supplies might affect the value but not that much as there are also holders that selling their assets from time to time and with the stake bonuses where coins that being added as reward can just add up with the selling pressures, though I also on that point where if BetFury will bring fresh ideas on what they are planning to increase the demands of this coin aside from being a staking asset that can give you rewards, something that will bring the interest and will have good numbers of potential holders and investors.

More on future plans that may gather new prospects that potentially join and support this asset, while those believers can continue to hold and stake their coins without being affected by the current market movement.
The main reason why burning doesn't really change the price on short term is the fact that it was already at the team and it was already out of the market. This has been talked about before, if the team already has those tokens, then burning them or holding them doesn't change the market price, maybe psychologically you will feel better about it, but the end result is the same.

Buybacks are important in this case, they do make a change in the market if they ever do it, but the burning of the tokens that are in the holding? That doesn't really make a change on the short term. Long term it does, because it lowers the supply which would mean if the demand stays the same, with less supply, the price will gradually go up.
753  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a boom again? on: September 19, 2023, 08:06:54 PM
The price of bitcoin have crossed $27k and we can expect this slow and stabilized market progress to take place for longer time period. With every investment there is risk, cryptocurrency is not an exception. With altcoins the risk is higher than bitcoin. As we've got the halving scheduled for the upcoming year, we cannot expect good rise over the weeks/months. The rise usually happen close to the days of halving or once after the halving is over.
Yes, the price of Bitcoin has finally reached the $27k level for now and is still holding there. At least this is encouraging for those of us who haven't seen a significant increase in several days. There is a possibility that Bitcoin prices will rise even higher, especially since the market is now at the beginning of the week when there is usually an increase.

But that doesn't guarantee that Bitcoin prices can rise high because if there is negative news, it can affect the price and it will decline again. Those who have bought Bitcoin at prices below $27k certainly smile at the temporary profits they can take, especially for those who trade in the future, because they can already see the size of the profits they can take.

And we all still hope there will be another boom and the price will rise even higher before long. So prepare your investment, whether it's Bitcoin or altcoins, but you should focus on investing in Bitcoin.
It's important that we are going to end up with something that will be a lot higher and we are at the early stages of that. Many people can't see that at this point and I understand that it may not feel that great but I do believe that it is going to be easy to see it happen.

We need to end up with something that will make sure that life is better and things are better and we will end up with a greater return with that big boom. Not that important if they can't see it today, they will end up joining eventually anyway and it will be a great period without a doubt. Maybe they will be a bit later to the party but they will come in as well which is the only thing that matters on the long term, as long as they join, when they do doesn't matter.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 19, 2023, 07:12:00 PM
It seems like that vlahovic is not so happy stay at juventus at this moment. Juventus has been always trying to offer him to the various club but juventus's offer always been rejected by the various clubs like chelsea.
It will be disappointed if vlahovic will decide to leave from juventus to join in the al hilal but if it will be his decision and i can only put all of my respects to his decision. Vlahovic is still young enough.
The only problem if juventus puts non sense price for his clause. Vlahovic will able to get the new club easily if his price will be decreased by juventus. As you can see that if vlahovic is still useful even for the club who didn't like him to stay.
It's tiem for vlahovic to think about his future. Vlahovic can start to give pressure to the juventus in decreasing his release clause. Im sure there will be a lot of clubs will try to get him from juventus. Vlahovic can force juventus to do that in january.
He really needs to find suitable club for himself.
To be fair he was on the verge of being sold a swell and he wasn't, which probably made him unhappy about the situation as well. If you are a player that will leave, then it is better to leave, if you are a player that will stay, it is better to know if you are going to stay.

It is never nice to not know if you are going to leave or not, and for months he didn't know if he was staying or being sold, we all knew with the right amount offered he would have been gone, and he of course knew that too and that offer never came in so he stayed. This means that anytime his team loses a point, or doesn't pass him or anything that goes wrong, he will wish that he was sold to a better club and maybe he would do better there.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 19, 2023, 06:35:30 PM
I don't agree with what you say. In my opinion Garcia made too many changes all at once at the beginning of the championship and it would have been better to take advantage of a proven team, which had won the previous championship many weeks before it ended (and this explains the decline towards the end of the championship when they had many points advantage over their direct competitors and therefore had an understandable drop in tension), and making small changes and modifications to the formation and game organization during construction and based on the form of its players.
I agree with most of your post, but I also think that sometimes as outsiders it is easy for us to have opinions. I actually have the same opinion like you, but we have to admit that we don't see the team at training sessions. Signaling to the team that the first eleven is set in stone because of what they achieved last season isn't necessarily the right path of action for a new manager. If it works out when he changes a lot, then he is the hero but if it doesn't he will immediately have to deal with repercussions from the public, the fans and perhaps the team itself. It's often a fine line for new managers and really, a manager taking over a team that just won the title with 16 points ahead of the 2nd can essentially only lose. What is left there for Garcia to win?
That's true, there are situations where people could only make predictions and assumptions and we could not really know what's going on. This is why I keep telling people that Maguire could be actually better than what we think as well.

Think about it, that dude played under 3-4 different managers at United, and all of them kept him, if he was as bad as we think he was, don't we think that managers would just cut him from the squad the moment they get a chance to do it? They would all tell the team to get a defender urgently and get rid of him. He must be great at training to keep getting a chance, obviously injuries to other players matters in that sense too. We will never be able to understand what a manager thinks when they do something.
756  Economy / Economics / Re: Was just watching the big short. Why do the times suddenly feel similar? on: September 19, 2023, 11:09:05 AM
I hope you guys are on track now and doing better. The economic crash hits the normal peeps like me and you all the time. Our financial management starts breaking apart when we see prices soaring for daily mandatory things like food, electricity, gasoline, and a few others but not limited to them.

Some might say this is just a needle in a haystack but I say things start worsening at this point itself. Our interest rates are also revised during such high tension thus it becomes complicated whether to feed the family first or pay the EMI on time. If someone is from a developing country then they will know what are the consequences of living with missed EMIs, high price tags on regular vegetables, and much more.

So I feel you mate. It can only be recovered with great attention to savings that can make us survive during high times like these.
The issue is that someone who has 50 million dollars do not have to care about the regular life spending, they do not think about buying food, they can eat whatever they want, buy any sofa they want, whenever their car breaks down they do not have to worry about the service, they just live normally without worrying about money, and they can invest easier.

People like you and me and him, we care about those things, because one bad thing and we are done, and two in a row? That almost means bankruptcy unless we get some help, I lived that recently, my wife needed operation and then our car broke down, both of them together meant financial debt that I would have to pay for 2 years, but thankfully my boss helped me out, otherwise I would have been in debt for 2 years.
757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: September 18, 2023, 05:41:34 PM
~snip~
I have read about mandatory voting and I even have a friend who lives in a country where mandatory voting is enforced there, but it is rather a silly system because if one does not vote, then the penalty is being forced to pay a sanction.

Though, while one owes money to the state, one cannot ask for a passport and other social benefits. Rather than pushing the electoral system down the throat of citizens, it would be better to show them why participating in important.
It's also usually done in a simple way, as in, voting is done on a weekend, the whole country is prepared for that, and also you can mail vote in advance.

I think it's a better way to do it, because being a citizen comes with responsibilities, like voting.
In my nation, we all just go vote and come back, I do not understand why USA doesn't do that. It happens on Sundays, which means it is usually a situation where a lot less people work, sure there are some business types where you work on Sundays too, but they are far lesser than let's say something like Wednesday, and I believe USA does it on Sundays as well.

Make it a national holiday type of thing as well to make sure most other places are closed and only the very important stuff like for example Hospitals are open, rest, if they can close shop they should. This would allow a lot more people to vote, and there was even a punishment back in the day for not voting, you can go vote absentee, meaning you do not have to pick anyone, but still have to go and vote.
758  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are created for unemployment purpose on: September 18, 2023, 06:36:51 AM
Traditional banking helped in creating employment not because many people are employed in the banks. It helped in creating more jobs because fractional reserve banking created artificial capital and the banking system provided affordable loans for the businesses.
I don't believe that CBDCs will gradually displace private banks because somebody still has to evaluate which people and business are suitable
for getting a loan and which ones aren't. I don't think that AI is capable in replacing the humans, when it comes to such evaluation.
CBDCs are created to be an addition to the fiat banking system, not to replace it.
That is definitely logical but that doesn't mean that CBDC would prevent that, not only banks would keep employing hundreds of thousands of people even if it's all CBDC one day, they will also keep giving loans as well because how else they are going to make a profit.

This is a good idea and it certainly deserves a good logic. I believe that this will not change a thing because we are changing what we call it, but the thing we are dealing with is the same thing and that means if we are doing the exact same thing, why would we have any different result. Only thing that will change for the time being would be the online banking getting more popular, so the need for workers could get lower even with fiat as well.

Even though my country doesn't legalize gambling, it seems freebitcoin is still safe to access and my ISP doesn't block freebitcoin, I think this doesn't look like a gambling site but maybe there are strict rules in your country so freebitcoin is blocked and can't be accessed, I've never tried to use it. VPN, but if freebitcoin is really friendly using VPN, I have this way if one day I am in a country that blocks freebitcoin I can also access it using VPN.

So far the freebitcoin site is still a safe site for me to access, so I can continue to claim free bitcoin every hour, but I have to be careful if maybe one day this freebitcoin will also be blocked by my ISP and I will use a VPN if it doesn't. there is a problem using it to access freebitcoin.  Wink
Same here, it's illegal to gamble in my nation as well but when it comes to this website no ISP is blocking it and they are allowing to keep it going. To be fair if you do not know the website, just the name itself will not make anyone block it right away due to the name.

There are some keywords that blocks it, there are poker courses that got blocked, because the name had poker in it, you can't even gamble there it is just a course that teaches how to gamble but poker keyword was blocked, same with dice as well. Free bitcoin sounds like they just give bitcoin for free, which is technically true because they do, but that is just not all they do and there is gambling in it as well which no ISP knows in my nation.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 17, 2023, 07:44:28 PM
Definitely an easy game for Barcelona, didn't expect them to win by this large margin but I did expected them to get a win so the end result didn't really change all that much. I hope that it gets to a point where people could realize it is not really as bad as they think it is, and should be considered a bit different.

I hope that we could end up seeing both teams (real and barça) end up fighting until the very last week so that it becomes a lot more fun. When the winner is decided many weeks before the season ends, it becomes not that fun, but when the last game of the season matters, it becomes a lot more important. I believe that we have two clubs who can definitely take it there and not lose that many times.
