741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MASS] Decentralized HARD DRIVE mining cryptocurrency | PoC | Low Energy cost on: November 30, 2021, 05:34:31 PM

OP created this thread and just disappeared from the forum. I just checked his profile and found that he was last active on 17 Jun 2021. That clearly showed that he has no more interest in moderating this thread. There are few genuine questions on this thread which are still not answered perhaps because of absence of OP.

No media should be left un attended whether its social media or bitcontalk.org. Your project success lies largely on how effectively you communicate with crypto community. MASS has very good project documentation that you can check on there site and rest on info can be found on there TG group but this thread is not receiving any updates from OP.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: November 30, 2021, 05:29:26 PM
Just like p2p cash transfer coins, many deflationary coins are also in circulation. Some are doing good while some are average and remaining are dead. I think BOOM belongs to average class of deflationary tokens that is here to stay. But its also just doing average business and dont think that it will go massively up in near future.
743  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New in bitcointalk. Can i participate in Bounty campaign? on: November 29, 2021, 04:37:12 PM
For a social bounty, article bounty, blog bounty - the age of an account does not matter. But for signature campaign it matters.

I suggest don't go for useless bounties that pay shitcoins that are not on  any exchange and have no future. Better try to go up in rank and participate in bounties that pay good to high rank members and are administrated by trusted members. You can find signature related bounties here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
744  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn more about trading on: November 29, 2021, 04:30:39 PM
The same way you learn about literally anything else. Read and do research a lot, and of course, nothing beats actually trying out indicators and strategies yourself hands-on. Of course, you don't necessarily need to risk money immediately. You can use platforms like eToro that has virtual trading features.

One mistake which new commers made is that they jump with huge capital straight away and since they can't handle wild fire of crypto they end up cursing the crypto market. Obviously you will get experience when you do practical trading  but better do that with small amount (that you can bear to lose). Better go for HODL rather then trading.
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 29, 2021, 01:50:29 PM

Well first of all for this kind of thing to happen ICC needs more teams to play cricket. Right now only a few countries are playing cricket. And that's the number surely needs to increase. And ICC also has to think big. If they only think about money then cricket is not going to prosper. They have to think about cricket making a worldwide favorite sport.

In terms of progression cricket is standing not moving at all. In last two decade only teams have acquired the status of team playing country while one country lost that. ICC need to bring more countries in its ecosystem that takes cricket seriously and have players that can take it for longer period. Not countries like Oman who hires players from Pakistan and make a team.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 29, 2021, 12:55:06 PM
I think Newzealand is really lucky to even draw the match because they were dominated by the Indian bowlers. I think they were really lucky to even survive with the last wicket. But I think the last pair did well enough to defend the bonus and come out with a draw.
Now India leads the series by 1-0.

Credit for this draw goes to Ravindra and Patel without that partnership it won't be possible for NZ to draw the game. Can somebody share stats of what's the longest last wicket partnership for such draws? I guess there are not much partnerships like that AFAIK.
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 28, 2021, 05:56:24 PM

He's 37 years. A break at this point means an end to his international career. But no sympathy for him. He should have been aware of the consequences. The allegation was filed by 47-year old Renee Ferguson. I am not sure whether this was some sort of a honey trap. But in either case, Paine should have been more careful. This is not expected from someone who is married with kids.

https://www.news.com.au/sport/cricket/tim-paine-woman-at-centre-of-sexting-scandal-files-sexual-harassment-suit-against-cricket-tasmania/news-story/da4e78950434205bdbe7ab0400747152

I don't know what on earth made this married man lure towards a 47 years old woman. He just destroyed his cricket career with these non-sense messages. In this article its written then woman complained about this issue in 2017 before resigning from her job but nobody paid any attention to her complain. Now all of sudden this issue popped up and seems like she will get justice this time.
748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 28, 2021, 05:50:29 PM
Pakistan women cricket team is playing against Zimbabwe ? I didn't knew that. Where is this series happening  Huh
I think only the Aussie and England dominate in the women cricket as the rest of the world does not have a proper infrastructure for women cricket.

Nobody in Zim nor in Pakistan will be aware of this event, I bet. As far as infrastructure is concerned I think its same for both men and women. Its just about priorities. India is investing and earning billions from men IPL but there is no leagure for women in the same country, why? Because public has no interest in woman cricket, they only like women wrestling.
749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 28, 2021, 05:46:12 PM

BCCI is independent entity, ICC doesn't allow government interference in cricket not even indirectly. Zimbabwe board faced a ban because of this. Banning Pakistani players from the IPL wasn't Gov's decision but BCCI and franchise, especially franchise considering BCCI allowed Pakistani players to put their names at the auction but after 26/11 terrorist attack, every franchise boycotted them for the right reasons.

I pardon to differ here, no cricket board is independent entity. Every board is controlled and monitored by government bodies. So its not true to say that BCCI is independent entity. India is not playing with Pakistan even before 26/11 attack, if you see current government stance they have zero tolerance towards Pakistan. IPL franchise and BCCI not allowing Pakistan is just because of Indian government pressure. Franchises will love to involve Pakistani players as they have world class T20 players.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 28, 2021, 05:39:50 PM

Eventually India has given a target of 284 runs to the New Zealand team. The surface of the pitch is helping the bowlers more now. New Zealand has lost their first wickets today and the match will continue on day five. I have a strong feelings that India will win the match. There is a big difference between the betting odds and it is fully in favour of India now.

This match is going in a zig zag manner and everyday we have a new winner but the very next day things get totally changed, lets see what happens tomorrow. You can try your luck by betting on NZ and enjoy a feast for the Christmas ahead. Its lyer debut test match and he is having performance of his life, what a way to start your cricket career.
751  Economy / Services / Re: [open] Restart of 1xBit signature campaign - new signatures and more spots! on: November 27, 2021, 10:53:45 PM

look I don't to extend the line but people who apply in the Campaign in general know that they will have to wear the signature if they're accepted.

You were accepted, Your name was in the spreadsheet along with your other Alts -

CryptoCraze11, RankerCan, Coinism, and others.

You must have had checked the spreadsheet for the accounts above if not for galambo.

If you haven't then why did you apply in the first place? The other campaign that pays the same rate you're getting here? and had a short duration compared to this one here, Probably a mistake?

You also didn't consider that payment for your week4 of this campaign but shamelessly started asking for your payment when you were payed extra 40$.

Like i said accept the facts and move on rather than trying to prove that you're innocent (which you're not at least not in my eyes). Maybe Manager1xBit will give you a second chance.
But you made me write this post so who knows what his decision will be.

Thank you again.

Look you have made a mistake but you are such a shameless guy that you are not accepting it rather putting the blame on other shoulders. Accept that you didn't checked who is wearing signature and who is not
You left your campaign and came all the way here to stop my reward and get your bucks back. Since you have no other way to hide your mistake.
Hope won't see your face again here. Next time please manage the campaign in your senses not while you are drunk.
Thank you again for all the hassle.
752  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't invest in anyone who? on: November 27, 2021, 06:17:02 PM
$50 to get $550 in just four days? Hell no. This is obviously a scam. So sorry, you have been scammed. That is like 200% daily return, which is not possible in any legit business.

That's very unfortunate but on the other hand the positive thing is OP gets a clear cut understanding of what scam is in 50$. If you get scammed in early part of your career with few bucks it gives you experience of how to save hundred or thousands of your dollars in later part of your trading career. just be careful, there is no shortcut of becoming rich in crypto.
753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: November 27, 2021, 06:11:39 PM

Buying only Bitcoin or at least 90% Bitcoin.

I do agree that BTC must be your primary target of investment in crypto. IMO 60 to 70% of your capital should go in BTC and rest of capital for strong alts (top 10 alts at CMC) and short term trading. OP point is also valid that when BTC goes down every coin goes down with it. We have to accept that fact, the logic of equity trading don't fit here.
754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Ban. Crypto will probably get Regulated in India. on: November 27, 2021, 06:04:58 PM
Because of bans, fake news, regulations whatever reasons, the trading volume of crypto on Peer to peer marketplace in India is increasing too much.

Usefultulips chart shows it. The 2021 Global crypto adoption index report shows that India is one of the most actively nation in Asia particularly and in the world generally.

Overally, I don't see any nation will go to ban Bitcoin. They want regulation, yes. They want tax, yes. but they won't ban Bitcoin.

This issue is as old as hills. We keep on discussing this issue in one thread or another. The real point is how can government restrict the original BTC rolled out by satoshi aka decentralized Bitcoin. The only way government can get there share from crypto is to regulate it and get tax from it. So I agree that govt wont ban it but will regulate it for its own benefit.
755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governments planning a Crypto Crackdown? on: November 27, 2021, 05:51:51 PM
Currently or in the long term?
Bitcoin has proven its ability to move despite all the restrictions that have been imposed or may be imposed on it, and therefore I will not be worried unless there is a global consensus to adopt strict laws or ban Bitcoin, which is something I do not expect to happen due to the difficulty of most countries of the world agreeing on something related to money.

Therefore, there may be a direct effect in the short and medium term, but it will not affect the long term.

There is no way government or institute can ban the decentralized crypto. Governments can only restrict centralized exchanges like binance but there is no way they can restrict p2p cash transfer on decentralized blockchains like BTC. We need to first understand what decentralized crypto is, if you got what is such news wont effect you.

758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 25, 2021, 12:53:33 PM
I live in India, and I have to say that what you have posted here is true. If you have money, then anything is possible. If Hardik did this in the United States, then he will be sentenced to a minimum of 6 months in prison. They are very strict about tax evasion. But in India, he can just pay a financial penalty and escape any other form of punishment. The rape allegation is much more serious. Now I just hope that it was just a baseless allegation and the investigators would declare him as not guilty.

I'd you don't punish Pandya today, tomorrow other players will do the same thing. In South Asian countries, you can easily bypass law if you have power.  Only weaker ones are given punishment. That's why these countries lag behind and are still underdeveloped. Rape allegation news on Pandya is gone as media is no more interested in covering that event. What an irony.
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 25, 2021, 12:47:10 PM

It is a probability but I think most of them have played too much cricket this year and need some rest. Also, it is good that new players have been given a chance in this match. If they are able to play well then it will prove that they can play in different formats without any issue. Shreyas Iyer and Shubham Gill need to prove themselves this time.

IPL is adding two more teams which means we will have more matches in already heavy schedule ipl. I don't think players are going to have some rest in T20 leagues dominated year. India has done right thing by giving rest to king kohli in T20 series and first test against NZ. Lyer n Gill on day one have performed well.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 25, 2021, 12:42:22 PM

@JSRAW with your experience of watching cricket are you really surprised that ICC decided to prioritise making money over participation in Olympics, because I’m not surprised by their decision. Lastly of all tournaments the one that has caught my eye is champions trophy 2025, because it’s scheduled to take place in Pakistan and all eyes will be on India then will they come or will they skip the tournament?.

Adding associate teams to increase no of teams may be good to gain financial benefits but very little these associate team contribute to cricket. If you see recent T20 WC apart from Afghanistan there is no associate team that has shown healthy performance.
As far as CT 2025 is concerned, I think India has to take part as we have seen Pakistan visiting India for WC 2011 but anything is possible.
