741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thomas Glucksman: Bitcoin could reach 50k$ by December of 2018! on: August 04, 2018, 08:48:32 AM
He must hold a lot of Bitcoin. So optimized with the price of Bitcoin. It's hard to reach the $50k in the left seven months.

true but i think most of these big bullish predictions are be cause of ETF.
it is such a hyped up news that has even made a lot of the big players think it can push the price up ridiculously high like this one prediction here.
although i think it is partly true but i don't think we can see such a huge rise because of it.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency back from the dead? on: August 03, 2018, 09:22:14 AM
well depending on which altcoin you are looking at the charts can be very logical or very confusing. for example there are small altcoins that got pumped and had their bubbles and their dumps also. which means they have come down to their real prices and for about 3 months now they have been rising instead.
but there are big altcoins that had their pump, went in a bubble but never got dumped. the charts of these altcoins is confusing because you see the drop happening but it seems like there are road blocks slowing its speed down drastically.
743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why again the prices were falling? on: August 03, 2018, 09:10:43 AM
Currently the price of bitcoin is at $7358 and it almost fell $1000 in 72 hours,I thought this price fall is just normal at the beginning but now little worrying because I bought few bitcoin when the price bump in the thought that bull run has started.Anyone know the reason why the prices were falling and when it will be on the upward track?

These has been always the behaviour of the market for several monthsfor, what's new?

Why you didn't do your homework in understanding the risks the moment you buy bitcoin. As you mentioned you entered because you "thought" that the bull run will now start. Price fall is price of the risks and you must understand that.

We are the one who must to adjust rather than the market will adjust for us.
I understand the risk factor involved here, but I couldn't find the proper reason whey the prices were falling, because of ETF's rejection? Or dump by the whales to make some quick money.Anyway this is not a big fall though but I am worrying that the prices will again go to $6K range. Undecided

you can't find any reason for the drop because a small drop doesn't really need a reason. they happen in any market and they are called fluctuations. going from $8000 to $7300 is just a 8% drop, not a big deal and that took a couple of days. and we have not yet broken any major buy support so that is another reason for this not being a big deal.
744  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Analysis: BTC/USD Signaling Bearish Continuation on: August 03, 2018, 08:58:17 AM
it seems to me that there are many people who wish the bear market to continue possibly because they either missed the chance to buy cheap coins or they sold too late at the bottom and have lost a lot of money. because i don't really see any valid analysis here! it is just wishes of the author justified by something he calls analysis.
745  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's next for bit coin ? on: August 03, 2018, 08:49:13 AM
it is not butcoin it is bitcoin and it didn't have a huge drop. it is a small one and we are still above $7k so there is no point in talking about it.

what is next?
same thing as before, more adoption, more people investing in bitcoin and more merchants accepting it, and higher prices as always.
we just need to put ETF behind us  for all that to continue happening.
746  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How the network remain Decentralized when block rewards diminishes or too low? on: August 03, 2018, 08:37:26 AM
do a quick search about "what happens when all the bitcoins were mined" and you will find this question which has the same answer as yours has been answered at least once every week for at least the past 3 years.
747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin situation on: August 03, 2018, 08:34:42 AM
The fact that Bitcoin is not the only electronic currency. Bitcoin rivals have been emerging, serving quite well for those who feel they have "missed the train" as the Bitcoin bubble grows out of reach. Ethereum is one of the strongest rivals, while Litecoin and Ripple are faster than Bitcoin. The domination of Bitcoin will be "diluted" more. I was so anxious.

that is the biggest threat that has been threatening newbies for some time now.
they have been misled into believing that they have missed the chance to invest in bitcoin so their only option is shitcoins. which is why we see so many losses among newbies who invest in these altcoins. because they are not "bitcoin rivals" they are tricks for older members to earn money from newbies.
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NANO - What are your thoughts? on: August 02, 2018, 09:22:34 AM
NANO is one of the projects that i like and i rarely like any altcoins out tehre. but as an investment right now i don't consider any altcoins a good investment in general and NANO is not an exception because they are all getting dumped most of the times and the newbie migration is a real thing these days!
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of cryptocurrency? on: August 02, 2018, 09:07:48 AM
shitcoins do not represent cryptocurrencies that is why they are called shitcoins. no matter how big a market capitalization they have, they will always end up getting dumped hard. and their dumps doesn't mean cryptocurrency is going to end! it just means the life that shitcoin is coming to an end because the pumpers are done with it and want to move on to the next shitcoin to pump.
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US SEC Delays Decision on Direxion Bitcoin ETF Until September on: August 02, 2018, 08:56:40 AM
it seems like they are delaying their decision making as much as they can in a way so that there is at least 1 ETF for rejection per month and at that rate they may be hoping to keep the bitcoin price down with their decisions!

i wonder how long would it take before people wake up and start talking about how pointless it is to wait for SEC to approve something that doesn't need their approval!
751  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does McDonald coin have the power to cause dip in bitcoin market on: August 02, 2018, 08:46:33 AM
no it can not. and your friend was most probably trolling you.

people aren't just going to sell bitcoin (a decentralized currency with scarce supply) just because McDonal coin may be created (a centralized coin with limited usability and unlimited ontrolled supply).
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YOU HAVE TO BE A DIE HARD RISK TAKER TO EXCEL IN THE CRYPTO INDUSTRY on: August 02, 2018, 08:40:58 AM
the risks you take in cryptocurrency market doesn't have to be high so you don't have to be a "die hard risk taker" as OP is trying to say.

for example by investing a reasonable amount (not all your life savings) in bitcoin while staying away from altcoins you can benefit from that investment while taking smaller risks.

of course when you want higher risks you go to altcoins and pay the price of that higher risk with bigger losses when they get dumped on you.
753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current cryptocurrency market situation on: August 02, 2018, 08:27:04 AM
2018 has been a very good year so far in my opinion!

we have had the very necessary bitcoin correction which corrected the whole market. bitcoin price corrected and it also helped the pumped shitcoins come down to their more realistic values which is still ongoing since they are mostly overpriced right now.
and also we have had the long awaited opportunity to buy cheaper bitcoins.
754  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull Run of Over 500% Might Occur if Bitcoin ETF Gets Approved on: July 29, 2018, 03:44:51 PM
i say the reason is the same as before. why did price rise from $900 to $20k from Jan 2017 till January 2018? or why did price went up from $6k to $9k twice before in the past 6 months?

it is the same thing now too. we have reached the bottom price which bitcoin could go and it reversed up.

So you think 6k$ is definitely the bottom and there is no way to go lower? But what is this have with 900$ back in January 2017, at that time almost no one could not imagine so big price pump - it has happened because of speculation with BTC futures and incredible media campaigns who made the biggest FOMO in crypto history. They are doing it again, ETF is become main reason why price is go up these days and next big thing which may push price 4-5 times up from today's values.

I would like to see what will happen if SEC does not accept the application, do you think price will continue to go up just because we touch bottom few times?

practically yes. but there is always a small chance of going lower. i have not forgotten that i am talking about bitcoin and it has certain unpredictability about it.
thinking back to $900 time, the situation was very similar to now. there were some people who kept posting 2013 charts + that famous bubble chart where it shows stages and kept saying $1000-$1200 is the end of the "bull run" that we had so far to that point and price will go down back to $200. then there were others who were posting that logarithmic chart showing the rise and the prediction about $10k by the end of 2017.
the Futures FOMO came in December and when price was nearly $9000 and pushed the price to $20k with its FOMO.

and i am not saying ETF is not going to do anything. i am saying even without it price will rise and even without its hype we would have been nearly where we are now. maybe not $8k but certainly not $6k either.
we had the same rise in April but it failed to break $10k so it came back down. there was no ETF news then.

if ETF is rejected we will see a drop but price will pick up again and go back up. not just because we touched bottom but because bitcoin's survival and growth doesn't rely on ETF...
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you Alarmed of the Recent Hacking Incidents in some Exchange? on: July 29, 2018, 10:09:02 AM
the real question is, what are you going to do about all these hacking incidents that keep on happening to some exchanges out there?
just being alarmed is not enough anymore. you need to do something. and that can be beginning to move to decentralized exchanges. they won't become any better if you don't start using them. as more people join, these exchanges will grow bigger and have more volume and also the bugs would be found faster and the platforms would become stronger. and eventually we can stop seeing hacks like this.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should buy altcoin now? on: July 29, 2018, 09:59:45 AM
the answer is no. and nothing else matters, it doesn't matter what "now" is, or what the "market looks like" at that moment, the answer is no. because if you can't answer this question yourself then you shouldn't be buying altcoins in first place. it is like the first rule of investment, you should come up with what to do on your own not rely on others to tell you which altcoin they are bag holding to buy...
757  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull Run Over? Mati Greenspan Reveals a Shocking Analysis on: July 29, 2018, 09:46:57 AM
nowadays everyone is turning into a bitcoin expert all of a sudden and they insist on giving their opinion about it also which is the weird part because they usually don't know what they are talking about and sites like the on OP is advertising love quoting them and call it "analysis".
758  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull Run of Over 500% Might Occur if Bitcoin ETF Gets Approved on: July 29, 2018, 09:29:58 AM
bitcoin bull run of over 500% will occur even if bitcoin ETF doesn't get approved!

so far bitcoin has increased to an unimaginable % from nearly 0 to $20000 and it didn't need things like ETF for getting there and this is not about to change in the future either.
every extra thing such as ETF is just going to be an additional push to make that rise a little bit faster but they don't cause the rise in first place.

I think price will be still around 6000-6500$ if there is not ETF speculations, it is all over the media as next big thing for BTC and it must have big impact on price these days. We see how market reacted on Winklevoss ETF rejections, just because some people think that ETF chance is gone.

Since CBOE (VanEck SolidX Bitcoin Trust) ETF application is still under consideration and final date is in February 2019 there will be quite enough time we can easy seen new ATH this year.

In your opinion what is causing an increase in prices, just simply the law of supply and demand? People always need some reason to invest, and if there is no good reason to invest in BTC who will invest money in it? I would like to see ordinary people invest money in BTC and make benefits from that, it is good if we can live and make progress in slower adoption - but only big money can make difference in price in a short time, and in short time I am thinking for the period of 5-10 years.

i say the reason is the same as before. why did price rise from $900 to $20k from Jan 2017 till January 2018? or why did price went up from $6k to $9k twice before in the past 6 months?

it is the same thing now too. we have reached the bottom price which bitcoin could go and it reversed up.
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was the G20 finance meeting in Buenos Aires last july 21 & 22 trigger BTC pump? on: July 29, 2018, 09:04:59 AM
if price went up with every little news that comes out then bitcoin price should have been at $10 trillion already! because there are lots of news coming out specially during the drop there has been lots of them. and meetings like this aren't going to determine bitcoin price in first place.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do You think About the more ICO today? on: July 28, 2018, 09:08:13 AM
all i know is that these ICO review sites were made with making money in mind. not helping people make better choice so they can make money, but instead they create a website so that they can get traffic and earn money, then they can grow big enough so that they can ask money from the ICO scammers to post positive reviews about them. and of course as always to publish positive crap about the coins they have a stake in.
