741  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Binance CEO's Fake AMA And Fake Giveaway! on: December 17, 2019, 03:40:54 PM
Suddenly I saw someone add me to a telegram channel. Name binance announcements. First I saw binance's official updates in that group. A little later I saw binance ceo's 2nd anniversary AMA Link. I clicked on the link and saw a fake giveaway with an old AMA's video. Many people may believe it. And they can send their funds to scammers.

If you look at the telegram channel it contain 9.4K members which is huge and anyone who is added to the group will feel this is the real official telegram channel for binance. I wonder how there were able to add so many members in the group which is basically made for scamming. Huh
742  Economy / Services / Re: Paying $0.8 each for someone who can make accounts (bulk wanted) on: December 17, 2019, 02:26:57 PM
OPENING THIS BACK UP

I need someone who can make me activated accounts on PlayerAuctions.com. I will pay $0.8 per account. Please contact me before you make more than one at a time as accounts must be created on different IP addresses. I am asking for a minimum of 10 accounts per transaction to avoid crypto fees (would also like to pay in a crypto with less tx fees than btc but can do btc if required) To create an account, go to Www.Playerauctions.com and register. Once registered, login to the account and scroll over the top right corner where it says account in blue. Go to account settings and on this page click "update phone and country". You can fill this page out with fake info but make the names real. Example, mike smith. They will send you a text message and you enter the pin on the website and the account is active. Message me the account details + your bitcoin address and I will pay ASAP. Thanks!

Do we need to verify the phone numbers with each account ?
Is so, then we may need 10 different phone numbers for 10 different accounts ?

you shouldn't use large amounts of money to pay in cryptocurrency.  In such cases, only the law can help. But the cryptocurrency is so innovative that it is not controlled by many laws

well the payment that seller/scammer was accepting was only crypto
...
Dependent on where the person who sent the cryptocurrency and where the recipient also lives, they can claim a dispute to recover their payment in usdt back.
If both live in a cryptofriendly country such as Luxembourg, Malta or Estonia then going to the proper authorities for filing a complaint can be done.

You should read the OP post again where he already told that buyer is from USA and seller is somewhere from Asia.

He's from USA and seller is probably from Asia

Did you happen to get any clue of scammer. Its been few days and may people have suggested a few things but none of the method or way is there which can take you to the scammers. Do let us know what is your progress on the recovery of the money or you're still standing on the same position ?
745  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍒 GamblingSiteFinder.com — Ranking The Best Online Gambling Sites on: December 16, 2019, 03:35:06 PM
To come back to my main point, how successful do you think affiliation links can be in creating revenue when there are other websites which provide the community with the same info? The data can be accessible elsewhere, from sources exactly like this one which are biased in a way or another, essentially there is nothing new this guy provides, and no one would compile this list without seeing profit in it, but where is this supposed to come from when this gambling ranking system is pretty well explored already.
Your point is valid and I misunderstood your point earlier. I guess he is basically trying to cash in on the rising popularity of the crypto gambling sites thanks to the anonymity aspect through his personal reviews which could be profitable if the reviews themselves are worth checking out.

I guess he is not focusing on this primarily and is simply a bonus for him probably in the long term.

Another think which i just noticed that he is using referral links in few of his links. I have not check all but going through them randomly, when i click on binance link it took me to his Referral link. So all of those who will make binance account from this site, he will get referral commissions for that.
746  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best way to mix bitcoins on: December 16, 2019, 03:13:51 PM
I have recently mixed 10$ at https://bitcoinmixer.org/ as a part of the testing process and found that site to be a good one. The best thing about this site is that it is cheap to mix the coins there and the process is very very fast, if you choose the instant option. Based on my experience, i will recommend https://bitcoinmixer.org/ for mixing the bitcoins.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BBOD: Non-custodial, Zero-Fee Crypto Derivatives Exchange on: December 16, 2019, 02:50:02 PM
Any tentative date when this token will be listed on its native exchange ?

What is the current price of BBD token at forkdelta ? If i want to buy the token other than from forkdelta, what options do i have ?

BBD tokens will start trading on BBOD platform 20th December

You can check it on FD
https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0xb79fc5505ea4f3b920ee7e3349de064226692717-ETH

At this time BBD is only listed on FD or You can wait till 20th December and buy it directly on BBOD

As written on their bounty thread, will BBD be listed at around 65 cents. I hope it does not dump and retains this price.

  • BBOD is aiming to list BBD token at 0.65 TUSD per 1 BBD.

Let's calculate the current BBD price estimated in Ethereum. Roll Eyes

According to the report, on December 20, 2019, the token is aiming to be listed at $0.65 per 1 BBD.

CoinMarketCap is currently showing the Ethereum price of $143.34.

Therefore, 1 BBD token should cost ($0.65 / $143.34) = 0,00453 ETH (theoretically). Smiley

As you can see on the Forkdelta decentralized exchange, some traders have recently sold their BBD tokens at 0.00025 ETH per token.

If the team lists their token on the BBOD exchange, we will see the real price of this token estimated in TUSD.

Don't expect too much when they finally list BBD token.
Sometimes calculations and figures are good to see but the reality is totally different.
Theoretical values vs actual ones are sometimes totally opposite.
What I mean is, the gap is usually wide so you need to prepare for that situation also.

Do you mean that people will dump the BBD tokens as soon as they get listed on their own exchange ? I doubt because this is an exchnage own token and it would have better chance to perform well as compare to other new tokens. Also will it be listed in TUSD pair only or also in BTC pair ?
748  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 3k usdt lost on: December 15, 2019, 04:28:29 PM
Hello everyone, recently one of my friends lost 3000usdt by buying items online
He wasn't careful enough and he has sent usdt upfront to online seller

Of course he got tricked and seller blocked him instsntly
He's from USA and seller is probably from Asia
What are legal actions he can make and are they in real situation helpful or not?
Thank you

I am always be careful while i deal with the global marketplace and especially dealing with the Asians. People from the third world country normally do such scams and i usually avoid dealing with them. Even if you have to deal with them, never go first in the trade or better use a third trusted party.
749  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitcoinmixer.org| New Mixer | Bounty Program on: December 15, 2019, 03:41:19 PM
I've been seeing most of the reviews that they are setting their delay in an instant so I have tried setting it in an hour delay.
After my sent bitcoin got confirmed, I timed when will I be getting my btc from the moment it is deposited. In exactly an hour and 8 minutes I received my bitcoins, 8 mins is way faster than the I usually spend when mixing. That's pretty awesome for a new bitcoin mixer with a low fee ( Lowest I've tried so far).

I noticed a small thing since I've tried mixing the minimum amount which is 0.0002 btc and pay 0.0002063 btc but only received 0.00019 it ain't no big deal but that's what I got.
I don't know if it is due to btc rate or something that has to do with mixing.

This is not due to btc rate but this deduction is due to the minimal fee which bitcoinmixer charge for mixing the coins.

Quote
We charge a service fee of 0.25% plus a transaction fee of 0.000001 BTC per payment address.
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are the world’s governments not using cryptocurrencies? on: December 15, 2019, 03:30:41 PM
A very simple answer to this questions, why governments not using cc? Is that cryptocurrency is not in favor of governments. Majority of  advantages offered by crypto are for general public not for governments.
A peer to peer transaction may benefit two ordinary person but it surely hurting middleman like banks that are backed by governments.

But there are some countries which have legalized bitcoins. How their government survive by this act ? I think this is lack of knowledge that if bitcoin is made mainstream currencies, it will hurt the government. We should see the case study on how the crypto friendly governments are operating. This way we can easily get information and adopt to crypto currencies.
751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So when will we see a high budget Bitcoin movie? on: December 15, 2019, 12:38:07 PM
Not all high budget movies put bitcoin on the criminal side, some of them are also promoting or saying something good about bitcoin. I can't remember the title of that particular movie but there's a fat guy that earns a fortune in bitcoin in that movie I completely forgot the title.

I cant remember any movie involving super stars from Hollywood. I am sure in near future Hollywood would release block bluster movie which can involve Bitcoin and crypto trading . However there are few documentaries already avaible on internet but I don't find them thrilling.
752  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The misused of merit on forum..... on: December 14, 2019, 01:18:52 PM
Hello community am confused about theway merit are being used in this forum.

The way merit are being given out to some post on this forum is turn abused, how on earth will a single post merit 30+ merit? and must of this post are just simple question or answer. Post are not suppose to be merit more than 2-5 depends on how helpful and relevant the post.

But it now seems many person now buy it even when they don't merit have any. I don't think this was the primary aim of adding merit to this forum. Please let stop abusing merit...

Please what did you think, what is your suggestion on regarding this?Huh?

We cannot prevent the buying or selling of merits. You have may a few examples where you see 30+ merits given to posts which you might get impression that those merits are bought but what about those intelligent buyers/sellers who will give 1 or 2 merits to many posts and it is difficult to figure out if the merits given are genuine or not.
We can just hope these merit sellers get shortage of their smerits and so there is no abuse possible.

There are different rules here and on Cryptotalk forum. IP address change does not matter in this forum.  Cryptotalk does not allow multiple accounts and therefore they monitor the IP and ban the accounts if they come from the same IP. However some people may get disadvantages if they login from office network or public places and might still get ban there.

So sad to hear this because I'm already earning from Cryptotalk and if I move to another place my income will be ruined due to different IP address.   Cry
This is not fair because people can't stay in one place their whole lives!

Don't be so sad...
I didn't meant that you have to keep the same IP for cryptotalk. Also they check from which browser and version are you logging in. So if you really do not have multiple accounts at cryptotalk , you are safe and you do not need to worry about anything.
754  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you login in this forum with more than one IP address? Risk of banning? on: December 14, 2019, 10:02:11 AM
Hello dear members.
I have a problem. I have to travel to another city for about a month. I must get another internet service from another ISP. So, my IP address will definitely be changed. Will my account be banned if I login here with a different IP address?

I have also the same problem with Cryptotalk forum. Do they ban my account too?

There are different rules here and on Cryptotalk forum. Luckily, this forum bitcointalk has not any such complications and restrictions.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 14, 2019, 08:08:32 AM
We all know that being an addicted gambler is a very tough spot in our life, but what if you need to decide what to choose, your addiction or you family? i.e., the given situation will be that you need to decide on the spot if you want to pursue your "career" in gambling or make a good simple life with your family? what will you choose?

lol i can't possibly find another answer besides choosing family, a family is everything. unless they are acute addictions, of course, they cannot think and control themselves, but when in the end, their lives are destroyed due to addictions they will regret and back to the family. I'm not addicted, but I decided not to gamble anymore and in the end, my life was better.
Well, that is only natural since our family is the one and only treasure we have. Family won't even become equal to gambling.
It is true, if they take gambling as a source of income or they don't have anything to do aside from gambling and they are totally addicted into it, maybe they will disregard their own family for gambling.
but if the case is different, when he is addicted and can make a lot of money aka success from gambling, I don't think we will choose both. we can even help the family economy from the success we get.
but if addiction does not earn anything, what must be maintained rather than the family?

Who in the world can make a lot of money from gambling addiction. Almost 99% of the gambling addict are the losers. You cannot expect a win from those who do not have any plan on how much to invest in gambling.

For a better life, the gambling should be limited such that no one in the family and nearby is badly effected by it.

Dear Traders/Community!

As you know, your satisfaction is our top priority. We want to make sure that the product we deliver to you is perfect, that's why we have decided to postpone spot market and zero-fee perpetual futures launch until December 20th.
We still need to put some final touches to it. We can't wait to unleash it to the trading world. It is going to be absolutely stunning! Until then TRADE NOW perpetuals on 18 pairs using TUSD stable coin!

Stay tuned,
BBOD Team

Since they have postponed the trading of BBOD till December 20, is there any chance of resuming the bounty ?
The bounty period was only for 2 weeks which was too small in my opinion.
757  Other / Meta / Re: Who are owners of this forum? (Bounty Manager or Users?) on: December 13, 2019, 04:06:37 PM
The forum has a very basic problem and contradiction.
Management says "you can open alternative accounts, this way you can express yourself better"
If the identity of your account is known, you cannot express yourself freely.
So it makes sense to open an alternative account. For free thoughts.

But, Bounty manager and some DT member says, "You can't use different accounts."
That's exactly where all the fights start.

There are enough answers to the OP question but i want to address the statement which is mentioned in the title

"Who are owners of this forum? (Bounty Manager or Users?)"

For me the USERS are the owner of this forum. Some reputed bounty managers and DT members, Staff , moderators have additional roles which is helping the forum but all of them are still USERS.

The Real Owner of the forum is one and only, Theymos
758  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com SPORTS BETTING NOW LIVE! 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 on: December 13, 2019, 03:32:55 PM
I have to say that the website is EXTREMELY SLOW and heavy! Anyone else notice this too? All other webpages I have open in Chrome slow down too when I have stake.com open next to it. And the stake.com page itself is mega slow too. Am I the only one?

It look like only you are having this issue. I am able to open stake.com just as normal and there is no performance issues. You need to clear your cache and then try again.

You can see the ping result at my side.

759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this the way to reduce scam marketing posting? on: December 13, 2019, 03:18:55 PM
My question was if even Bitcointalk does not allow placing hyperlinks then this might set an hurdle to the spammers. I do know atleast till some grade up this can be set. This is an open an subjective thought. What do you think guys?
A hurdle has you put it for a spammer, but an annoyance for the general user. Disabling links would mean that users who wish to post links would certainly do what they do in other forums which disallow links. "bitcointalk[dot]org" or whatever they are doing these days. However, the other users that are using links appropriately get punished.

An alternative suggestion would be to limit links based on rank. However, I think we should be trying to encourage new users rather than limiting them. I don't think its a huge issue because most spam links get reported within a few hours, and malicious links usually get reported quicker.

If you see a spam link or malicious link report it to the moderators with the "report to moderator" function below the post. It will be dealt with accordingly.

The difference between this forum and the other forums is that members here are very active here and if they see anything malicious or spam, it get reported and deleted very quickly. It is not easy for the scammer to scam because you will have a lot of posts explaining the risk involved but if still people do not listen and use than scam link, its their own fault.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 8 on: December 13, 2019, 02:45:07 PM
It's been a while I guess, Never thought of having a vacation lol, actually I was to busy as of the moment because of the Charity and my examinations on school.
So this topic is just about the incident on some Gambling Platform, I wonder how you guys will react if you were on the same situation of the user involved.

So here's the thing...

What if you accidentally hit a max Bet, then you actually won that bet without knowing the rules, but as for the TC of the given platform, whatever and how high your bet is you can only win a specific amount and not the total amount you've been expecting.

Example:
For every $1 you can win $10
But you accidentally hit max and made a bet of $1000 but as for the condition/rules that you didn't know, you just won $1500...

So what will be your judgement and at the same time your reaction?

While i was reading this, i was imagining i am going to lose $1000 in the end, but to my surprise i won 1500$ and got a smile on my face. Same thing will happen if all this is repeated in real life. However in most case, in reality if this happens, most people will lose the amount of money they spent accidentally instead of winning.
