761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 17, 2023, 07:03:22 PM
I think the toughest opponents this season are Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli. Because these three clubs are the clubs that buy the most European players, just like Al-Nassr. Al-hilal has not even suffered a defeat, while Al-ittihad and Al-Ahli both have 1 defeat. But it is still quite difficult for Al-Nassr to immediately catch up with the points obtained by these three clubs.

Meanwhile, Al-Taawoun and Al-Ettifaq currently have closer points and are not much different from Al-Nassr. This happened because Al-Taawoun and Al-Ettifaq both had 1 defeat and 1 draw. So their points are only 1 point different from Al-Nassr. I am optimistic that Al-Nassr will soon overtake these two clubs in terms of points.

In the match against Al-Raed, it seemed like the Al-Nassr players played quite relaxed. And I love the adaptation development that Sadio Mane has had at Al-Nassr. Now he is more reliable. So the combination of Sadio Mane and C.Ronaldo is really a very good combination. Plus, Talisca, who always has hard and accurate kicks, is what makes Al-Nassr's attack line really strong. It's just that Al-Nassr's back line sometimes has gaps that seem to need to be repaired immediately.
This is very true, those four clubs are the ones that are going for the title and I think they are going to do fine. I get that it may not look like much at the moment but that type of start for these four teams will end up being very important for this leagues future. They have spent way too much on players to be who they are at this moment, but that means the door is more open to a lot of players because of this.

Getting Ronaldo for a lot of money was very important for this exact purpose, it allowed other players to join, and those players joining meant that in the future there will be even more players that join. Hopefully, we are going to see this league get a lot better and have amazing players without a doubt.

There are many things about football competition in Asia that still need better development and maybe a decade from now it won't be enough to make Asia even better in competing in the World Cup, in fact, I think Africa is still much better and has a greater chance of becoming champion. World Cup compared to Asia. More African football players play in Europe or other leagues on other continents, while there are still very few in Asia.
If Asia wants to compete better then the players must have the courage to leave their local league and experience tighter and more difficult competition like in Europe even though they only play in the second division.

However, Japan's victory over Germany is still an achievement and that's because Germany not only played badly but slightly underestimated their opponent. I saw the match and how the German defenders made movements that seemed to tease the Japanese players who they might see were shorter but one or two Japanese attacks were enough to destroy Germany at that time. Maybe that's a wrong assessment but currently Germany is not a strong team for a big competition unless there are big changes they make with their new coach later.
I would say that neither Asia nor Africa has a chance to win the world cup, considering teams from Europe and Latin America still end up being a lot better. Those nations have a football culture that dates back nearly hundred years, which means that they have a lot more chances to improve during that time.

Whereas if we are talking about Africa, that is a bit earlier than Asia, so they did their time and they are getting better, they have been getting better for a while now and I am assuming that the money football brings to them must be a good feeling. I feel like it is going to end up with Asia being the last one out there, it is going to take a while, but with more time, they will get better without a doubt.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) on: September 16, 2023, 06:58:05 PM
Cause those also go down with the double speed than pump. And this thing will work same in future for memecoin.  So don't believe those. Elon is controlling dogecoin. it's true that due to elon, doge is about to touch the sky but he always manipulating dogecoin for his profit.
But as far as manipulation goes, yeah, it's true, meme coins can easily be manipulated just like what we have seen in the past, by Elon Musk himself. He can't even take it away from his mouth and everything he opens it, the price of Doge will surely be impacted in the positive way.
Not just "can be manipulated" but it is. Why do you think that dogecoin went up that much? It was all because Elon Musk said he likes it, and he got a lot of attention for it and he was praised for it by the investors and he kept doing it because why wouldn't you do something that showers you with love?

You would keep doing that, if people, and I mean millions of people, praised you everyday from morning till sundown, you would probably do it too. This resulted with a big hype, that was the only reason, without Elon Musk, there is no doge pump at all, it was a 3 cent no good joke thing that everyone already forgot about before he started tweeting about it. That's called manipulation and normally could be punishable as well.

From my personal perspective both of you are right to some extent, but also some assertion doesn't look like the best description of Chelsea transfer policy too, we must first understand that the approach by the past owner and current are two extremely different things, one looks calm make rational decision over a long period of term and it worked out well, while the new owners is turning the club to a NBA franchise with trading everyone out every new season and buying another battalion to see if that would work out.

The are is major pro and con to this new approach by the new owners, they players are very young so if it works out then they could build a very competitive that will last a long while, however, the major con is that most of this players are barely tested product so going for a whole lot of them could back significantly and wreck the club financially too especially with exorbitant how paid for them. For instance despite this huge amount spent so far, Chelsea forward line still look very mediocre and and lacks huge depth (in terms of qualities) that can compete at the highest level, although since they won't be competing at the highest level of football this I mean Europe so that have a whole year to working things out, hopefully it will be for the betterment of the club.
I would say that it would be benefiting them if they got less number of players but bigger names. That would have been possible too, if they want to do NBA style of thing, just get Lebron for a season and be done with it. Look at how Real Madrid was built, all that famous los galacticos period wasn't for nothing, they got one superstar every year, and they built a great team.

Chelsea could have spent 200-300 million euros to get one superstar that is beyond anyone they ever considered good, and then next year they would have spent another 200-300 to get another world star level player. They would have been incredible if they kept doing that. Instead they spent 500 million on many players that worth nothing in the end.

Another possibility is if Giannis is willing to adjust with his salary for the sake of another title, which may be far from reality, it's more on
the money side and no longer on any pride or any title in my opinion.

But we never know if he can adjust or if Warriors are also interested in him. Maybe they will adjust or maybe they will be willing to pay
for it and also with the luxury tax obligation.

It will be tough, but we never know how or if it's possible if both camps will agree on something.
That would be a stupid move by Giannis. He is already an MVP and FMVP at the current moment, he is already one of the best, and he already won a title as well. His place at Hall of Fame is already guaranteed, how many title winning MVP's and FMVP's ended up not getting into Hall of Fame before? I am sure none of them ever did.

I think it is quite important to realize that we are going to end up with something that would be a difficult thing in the end. I think the best thing to do would be allowing a situation that would be great to handle on the long term. I hope that it gets to a point where it would have to be something that would be tougher on the money side, he should accept as much money as possible for now.

At least I am sure that Lazio will not repeat against Juventus Turin what they have done against Napoli Cheesy For everyone who has watched the game or has seen the statistics of that game, I am sure you guys know what I mean. This was one of the most one-sided games I have seen that ended in favor of the weaker team. Napoli controlled the whole game and got two chances against them, both ended in a goal for Lazio. We could discuss about efficiency now and that Napoli is to blame of course, but still we all know these games when afterwards it feels almost unfair that the better team couldn't win. The game was an important result for Lazio and a setback for Napoli. If Lazio is again as passive, I doubt that they'll be able to win it again like that.
It is definitely going to be indicative of how the season will go for both teams. Whoever wins this one will have a better morale and the players will play better, that's a good thing, the ones that loses will have a bit of a morale drop and they will fear if they are good enough or not as well.

I believe that we need to be able to make sure that things look good enough and we are doing something that makes sense on the long run as well. If one game loss makes the players too upset, team staff needs to make sure they end up talking about something that would make sense and I believe that it is going to be something that would be recoverable since it is not too late into the season and it could end up doing better.

The fee spent by Al Arabi to get Marco Verratti was worth 45 million euros and perhaps PSG just wanted to receive a higher offer from another club so they chose to reach an agreement with Al Arabi. I was wondering whether the Qatari league now wants to compete with the Saudi league for investment in bringing in European players? because after all these two leagues are related in the same season, in terms of exposure the Saudi league is bigger because it has succeeded in bringing in several great names. After Countinho, now Verrartti has joined the Qatari league and I can't wait how this league develops and of course they have to bring in other star players who have a big influence so that their league is noticed by many people.
Qatari League is already working for years, but they are not spending funds like Saudi League but now in coming years we will have good competition because these Arabs are having mentality of competing with each other but due to better and big market Saudi League could be in better shape with Qatari League is having no advantages like them but still they have already done good job as we all know Xavi before joining Barcelona was also in Qatari League as coach hopefully now in coming years they will try to have more stars even currently we will have strong monopoly of the Saudi League due to many advantages which are they using with the help of government and other investors as well.

Countinho and Veeartti now both are here which mean things could be heated up in coming transfer window, and we will watch few big names in this league as well.
Saudi is a richer nation as well overall. Sure Qatar is a rich nation but Saudi is much richer and considering that the new king always wanted to improve the nations status and wanted to be like the west, I think a sports league like this would have been a good way to do that.

I believe that starting from early 2010's, he was a prince and started to already make some changes and yes it is nowhere near the human rights that the west has, but to be fair if you look at the trajectory of how much that improved, we could say that before he passes on, he will be able to make this nation much better to live in. And that is why I believe that they are going to be fine and more and more players will want to play there as well.
768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 14, 2023, 04:35:15 PM
Whoever makes it out of this group into the knockout phase is arguably a good team. I don't mean through luck, because with the strength of the 4 teams that will meet each other, it will certainly be difficult for them to beat each other and it could be that at the end there will be a calculation of goal productivity to determine which team qualifies for the next round.
True, Newcastle are relatively new to being a big contender in the Champions League, but we have seen the significant development they have shown in recent seasons, especially in the last season where they can compete convincingly in the top 4.
Yes, that was last season, but the beginning of this championship showed that not everything was all right with them. Perhaps these opening defeats will be a cold shower for Newcastle and they will be able to improve their performance further, because at the moment they do not look as good as they did before. Their group is also very difficult, RSG, Dortmund and Milan, each of these teams can qualify for the playoffs, let's see if Newcastle can be a worthy competitor for them.
Newcastle definitely looks like one of those teams that would not be easy to beat them normally and they may have some sort of situation going around right now but I honestly believe that with the type of money the owner has, if the owner decides to spend a lot of money on the club, they could be the new City as well. They could spend as high as a billion dollars and nothing would happen to the owner, they would be able to do that and they would not be even spending 1% of their money to do that.

This is why I believe that Newcastle will get better and better, they may have started not that great so far but I believe that it is going to happen and we are going to see them do a lot better in the near future for sure.
769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 14, 2023, 03:56:15 PM
Of course Xabi Alonso will be aiming to win this match and take the top spot in the points table. Xabi Alonso is a good enough coach. And he has already proved it. Although Leverkusen is not a very strong team, they are performing well. This is truly commendable. Due to the strong bond between Leverkusen's players, the performances of the attacking players have been sharper. They are performing very well. Bayern Munich has the strongest squad in the Bundesliga. Even so, I'd say this team has the potential to drop points against Leverkusen. Let's see how Munich's players perform against the big teams.
That dude became one of the best coaches that I did not expected someone would be. I had no idea that he would be that good, usually I am good at figuring out who would be a good coach, like I believe Messi would be a terrible coach, and Ronaldo would be good "coach" but not a manager, and I always said that Xavi would be good.

But when it comes to Xabi, I assumed he would be at best a Gerrard type of situation, nothing major, sure he can do a manager job here and there, but nothing major. Instead, Xabi proved me wrong and he has taken his club to a level I did not assume they would be able to do. It's definitely a great thing to see, it brings os much more joy to watch Bundesliga games now that he is doing fine.
770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 13, 2023, 08:56:16 PM
I never expect him to join in saudi pro league club. He will be reunited with jordan and gerrard. I don't even know what was the reason to buy him instead of another player. He was only playing 14 matches in roma when PSG loaned him.
Of course, Gerrad's arrival brought great changes. Moreover, the arrival of Gerrad was able to bring European players like Henderson. But Gerrad's arrival seems to be a big problem for him. This is a tax matter. If Gerrad does really well in the SPL then he could get a big tax bill. There is no coach protection like in Europe which makes the problem can later arise.   This is a provision from Europe that players and bosses must remain abroad for one full tax year in order for their income to remain tax-free from HMRC.

Source: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/23927623/steven-gerrard-financial-tax-bill-saudi-arabia/
That feels like not a bad thing, he is getting paid a lot of money and he has to pay taxes if he comes back, and paying taxes is something we all do. I mean a plumber working at the UK makes much less and still pays his taxes, why would it be a problem for Gerrard? He is not above the law and if he ends up with a tax paying situation that would actually be good, rich people trying to avoid taxes is not good at all. In fact, I wish he paid taxes no matter what, but obviously if he stays at Saudi Arabia, why would he pay taxes to UK?

This is why it doesn't make sense and I understand that it is going to be a bit of a problem and should not be considered as something that ends up being a difficult issue to handle if he comes back.
771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to bridge BTC onchain to ETH ? on: September 13, 2023, 07:23:15 PM
To my knowledge, Yes, it is possible using Wbtc, where the ratio is also 1:1 based on the value of Bitcoin, but that's why it has an attached risk. Now, the only thing I can think of is why would you do this when you can just exchange your Bitcoin for Ethereum, right? At least in this way you can avoid the charge fee and also avoid the possible issue of liquidity problems, of course we can't say that. You know the risk is always there in such transactions. Now if you are really looking for other services like that, maybe you can also try Horizon Bridge, it just had a hacking issue this year, so don't do it,

Bridging Process For BTC to WBTC On Ethereum
That attached risk is not something smart, there is no need to have an added risk when the real bitcoin is just there and nobody really could say that there is anything wrong with that. I am not arguing that people can't do that, you can do it, but the only wrapped I would be fine with is the wrapped of the chain we are talking about.

So in the case of ERC20 that means ETH would be fine, if we talked about BSC then I would say BNB as a wrapped would be fine. When we are talking about bitcoin, I do not find that fine at all, I wouldn't wrap it and I wouldn't trust any wrapped version of it as well. I believe that it is going to take a while but we are going to have some sort of future that would be different in the end.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 13, 2023, 06:36:53 PM
I don't think Maguire's problems will cease if he continues to remain at Man UTD. Like the guy should come with a warning sign or something. With his penchant for creating own goals I feel Brighton would want to capitalize on this. Last night in England's friendly against Scotland, it would have been a clean sheet for the Three Lions but no,. Harry Maguire had to drop his signature move in the 67' and provide Scotland a goal.
He has slow speed and made some personal mistakes that caused conceded goals for opponents. Worse, he made his ogg goals like in Scotland match. That is not a situation he can not control especially the pass for Scotland is not too difficult but Maguire did not have good space feeling so he felt dangerous and just lifted his leg to touch the ball.

With all poor performances and terrible mistakes from Maguire, if you are his coach, will you use Maguire?

One mistake, one goal can entirely change the match and with Maguire in your defense system, it can happen anytime.
I agree that I wouldn't use him. Dude was never a great defender and I still do not understand how he gets all that time both at club and the national team. It makes me wonder if there are no other people but at the same time I am sure that there must be "someone" that could be picked over him in both club and at nation.

I think he is staying at United for some weird injury reasons because United keeps getting their defenders injured and that causes him to stay to replace the hole left by them, but aside from that I do not see how that could be changed, I feel like it should stay about the same and wouldn't really have a big change in the end. I hope that United could find someone much better at that position.

Manchester City's defensive midfielder, Rodri, is now also commenting on transfers taking place in the Saudi League. He said this talent drain must be controlled in a certain way and what Rodri said was true. However, I don't think there is anything that can prevent it as long as both parties agree to agree on the transfer. He also added that it was a shame that so many young players were leaving for the Saudi league and he hoped for any party to quickly control this situation. In my opinion, if veterans join a Saudi league team, that's not a problem, but sometimes it's quite a shame if young talents leave just to make money rather than with the mentality of winning titles in Europe. Could there be a solution to limit young players going to the Saudi league? If so from you, what is the right solution for this?

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1701180661896261720
There is also nothing that should be worrying anyone, just like how other teams got players from each other, Saudi is doing the same and couldn't be blamed for anything. When the beloved City of his ended up spending ton of money to get all those titles, did he complained about how his team was spending more than teams like Fulham or Brighton? Of course not, and he was happy that his team was owned by a rich person who was willing to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to buy players.

Now I look at it and I can say that it's the same thing for the Saudi league to do this as well, there is nothing wrong. Just like City got anyone they want, Saudis are paying whatever they want as well. There are a million human rights things I can judge Saudi Kingdom, but not football.

Hansi Flick was fired as Germany coach after the humiliating defeat against Japan. For Germany's next match against France in a friendly match, the German Football Federation (DFB) will show Rudi Voller.
Regarding Flick, perhaps many of us have heard this news.
It seems that Germany's performance has indeed looked bad in recent years. After failing at the euros and switching to Flick 25 games, Flick "only" won 12 times. I think his dismissal is quite rational. In addition, losing 4-1 to Japan was a nightmare. Germany rightly played badly. There are rumours Rangnick is ready to replace Flick and the German may also make an offer for Klopp.
Well if you are the manager of Germany and end up losing this many games you are going to be asked to go. Germany doesn't even have a terrible squad neither, they are good, at least better than what they have looked like so far and I think it should be important to end up playing there for sure. That should result with something much better for them and they could end up with something much better on the long run.

I personally believe that the best thing to do in this case would be hiring Low back maybe, or just find someone that would be good for the team in general. They have the good squad, good players, as long as you can make them play together very well then you are going to be doing fine in the end.

There will always be reasons (aka excuses) for someone to not achieve something.
It's not some kind of reason but that what hinders Neymar performance from being able to achieve big achievements or new records in football history and become a player who can make history in Brazilian football like Pele and Maradona did in Argentina.
I think what Neymar experienced is more like an obstacle that must be overcome if he wants to be the only superstar to set a new record.
Considering his age, I am not entirely sure if Neymar will achieve anything anymore, I feel like it is just not going to happen and he is not the one to make it happen. It is obvious that he is going to face some tough situations here and there, abut because of his injury history we could easily say that he missed his chances and not going to do any good anytime soon.

Obviously we are going to end up with a situation that will be a bit different and the result will not be that same, but it is definitely a situation we have to come to accept. Neymar is not a player that had any impact on Brazil that much, didn't win that much with them, and didn't impacted the team that well for a long period of time neither for sure.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google New Policy: NFT Ads is allowed starting Sept. 15 on: September 12, 2023, 05:39:22 AM
This is possible but at the same time they are underestimating scammers, it is obvious they do not have the personal to manually review every single ad they serve to those using their services, and even if they put special attention to NFTs ads there are still bound to be a lot of scam ads that will go unnoticed, so Google will allow scammers to have access to many more victims thanks to this new policy, as I am sure scammers are already preparing all their arsenal of weapons to abuse this new policy as much as possible.
I hope that they have a better filtering technology today given that they accepted NFT games to advertise to them again. It would be bad if we users are bombarded with obvious NFT scam. For sure they will have a lot of complains fro, the users. Google should be strict with the requirements before they accepts NFT projects that want to advertise with them. A manual review at least will lessen the scam projects.
Even manual reviews may not be enough, how many coins have been released on exchanges with good reputations that made an effort to manually check everything they could about a coin in particular, and the developers still ran away with the money of their investors anyway? It is impossible that google is going to have the personal needed to check every single NFT ad, so I really think we are about to see a lot of people getting scammed once this new policy takes effect.
It's just not going to be enough, simple as that. Filtering will be terrible, there will be scams, there will be a lot of complaints and this will result with it being gone eventually. I get that not a lot of people feel like this could go any worse, but I think with more and more scams there, google will make NFT ads not allowed again soon enough.

It should be important to realize that you are going to end up with a result that would be tough to handle if you are not careful with which ad you click, since you may think that it's a good one and it could lead you to something terrible. We can't really get anything that would be decent in the end if we click them all, so try to avoid them as much as you possibly could.

PSG's job won't be easy in a tough group like Group F indeed. Newcastle, Dortmund and Milan are all challenging opponents for the current PSG. Because there isn't an impressive team play by PSG these days. They are expecting Mbappe to do most of the work. This can't help them be successful much in the Champions League.

This isn't the Ligue 1 in the end. PSG can find a way to maintain their title streak there but their job is very difficult in the Champions League. Mostly the team with the best team play win this title. We all saw what Manchester City did last season in the semi finals and finale even without Haaland's scoring or making an assist.
Honestly PSG should finish that group as the first place as well. Maybe it looks like it is not going to be that easy but it is going to be possible and they can beat all the teams there, they should be winning against all the teams there without a doubt. I think Dortmund is not that good this season and PSG could take them out, Newcastle is equally worse this season and could be an issue, only one could be Milan.

The real trouble would start with who will be the second, because all three could be second as well if they do better than expected, the difference is not as huge as people think. This should result with some good entertainment to follow this group and could make it fun to see the games, much better than City's group at least.

Since it’s just a month left for that event to declare the winners I think it’s right time to go for it. Though I keep telling myself I am more or less RP and Sats fan, but since it’s close to GT event who isn’t excited?
I've already been more excited before. We don't get high rewards nowadays. From 2360 spins I just got 1 GT. And from more than 400 spins used yesterday I just got one 450 satoshis prize, while all the rest were 45 satoshis, RPs or lottery tickets. Even though it's still an unique feature freebitco.in proportionates us when compared to another platforms, I think it has lost its glamour and excitment... I don't consider Wheel of Fortune an encouragement to have access to premium program anymore.
Maybe that doesn't look good, however when you think about the staggering amount of tickets that we get, the totals are quite good, plus when we are talking about rewards, we need to remember that these are extra rewards, it's not the main thing of this website, in fact this website is not even purely a faucet anymore, it's a casino if you ask me, they are looking to make money based on how much people gamble, that's their goal, anything else you get is a gift.

So when you think about all that 45 satoshi, remember you are not getting 45 satoshi, you are getting whatever amount times 45 satoshi, so if it's 400 times, that's 400x45 satoshi, and that's the end result. This is why I believe that the rewards are still fine.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only good coins are listed on top exchange? on: September 10, 2023, 04:24:24 PM
It usually happens because of a good coin with a good community but it doesn't have a good foundation and usually it happens in an instant project. Investors dumping tokens they hold is common in meme coin projects. Because we all know that meme coins won't last long and investors won't hold onto them for long enough.
some hyped meme coins just turn into pump and dump practices, and it happens over and over again.
We can see that many meme coins today continue to appear with strange names and they have increased by hundreds of percent. Those are just manipulative whales that are behind meme coins to attract new investors to enter.
Meme coins that are good and have a strong community will naturally be listed on top exchanges because they can afford fairly expensive listing fees. Of course there will be choices besides the registration fee that can be paid. See how meme coins like PEPE, FLOKI entered the Binance exchange because of their strong community.
I still do not believe that people could do something like that, it doesn't make sense at the moment and I think we should not consider the situation to be a lot more different than what we have so far. I think we should consider this to be something a bit different and we shouldn't really be considering the coin listing as important thing all that much.

I believe that we are seeing listing as much more important than what it is most of the time, it is not really a big deal and it shouldn't be considered as a big profit making method. I get that some people get hyped about it, but like you said it becomes a pump and dump when they get listed unless they are proper good coins and that's a way people could make a loss.

I think this can be the difference between beginners and professionals, those who are professionals will obviously at least know the various conditions that exist in the market and also the habits of the market, such as understanding price movements and being able to read some indications that signal the movement will go where. While those who are beginners are very limited as we know in general. Planning in trading with various self-control limits such as it has become a very mandatory thing that traders have, and also in my opinion all of this they can get when they already have high flying hours in trading, risk management will always be the thing they focus on (professional traders), because only that can help them, I mean minimizing losses there.

Yes, everything will go well if they can control everything well, and their profit target can also be achieved according to the target that has been determined.
Professionals definitely know what they are doing because they gained experience, I would prefer someone who has been doing this for 10 years in an amateur setting, like not really a big trader, to someone who is working at one of the top firms in the world but it's their first day.

It is not professionalism that makes you richer, it's the experience but you gain a lot more experience if you are doing it professionally since that means it's your job and you spend hours on it and you end up learning a lot more about it from people around you. This gives you experience quickly and you do as well as you hope for and it doesn't really feel like it's going to end up being that much of a big deal, you shouldn't really care about it.
