Maybe it's time we try to start another rally on Poloniex? Any ninja news, kept in the dark, which could be useful for this?  the market is (pretty) sure NEM is a top 10 coin, buy uncertain whether top 5 yet .... time will tell, the longer NEM stays above 60M USD the more likely it will stay there for good, if it drops below 50M we could easily head back to 20-30M We will get through into the top 5 within the next 12 months in confident, but we need to really let the dust settle with ETH right now. Its a bloodbath over there. Very unstable investment if you ask me, I would not touch ETH at this time. All it will take is some major news out of Japan and we will break $200M im sure. But im all good with slow, steady growth, but i know it rarely plays out this way in crypto, so expect another jump when it happens. |

Price is dropping to 1000 satoshi again
When it was 30 we were supporting each other. When it was 300 noone was complaining. When it was 700 people was happy. Now it's 1000 and everyone is whining. WTF Fill in  When it was 2500 people __________________. This is a great point. I never ever fail to be amazed how short memories are and how emotional people are. If two short months ago you'd have written about people whining about a 1000 satoshi price level people would assume you were off your tits on drugs. Couldnt be a better time to buy more! I hope it stays this low for another week so that gives me time to cash out all the STEEM i earned on steemit for XEM! lol |

Ethereum and NEM down 5.4%. NEM is Ethereum's silver?   More probable and non-coincidental explanation is Poloniex is just seeing red everywhere. Large whales or everyone just chickening out? I think that bothing can replace first cryptocurrency coin because bitcoin is the oldest and other cryptocurrencies are just copies of bitcoin cryptocurrency ,they are just copy paste material.

For those doubting xem. Please sell now and you will learn the hard way just as i have.
Earlier this year i sold all my xem and I came to this exact forum to complain about lack of progress and update. Well guess what.....The following week, the price doubled and i brought back in at a 50% loss. NEM has the best dev team PERIOD.
I agree, NEM has far exceeded my expectations and im glad that i grabbed a stake at the start, as i very nearly was not interested at the time. NEM devs deliver - period |

I've activated delegated harvesting, and there's about an hour left of the 6 hours. I've just bought some more XEM, can I send these to my account, or do I have to wait until the delegation is complete? If I wait until the delegation is complete, which acct do I send the XEM to? Would the balance be reflected on my delegated acct or do I have to stop and start delegated harvesting.

Yes you can still send xem to your delegated account. It does not affect your harvesting |

Once again im killing myself i never sold my stake when it was high and i could have bought back now. However i did not want to take that risk if it continued to rise and it pretty much owes me nothing so i still have not lost anything. I would have probably bought back when it was still higher anyway so would not have gained much. This project has some real long term goals and there is no reason we cant hit $1 billion marketcap. We should be worth more than steem as it is, i think once the hype dies off with steem, the markets will settle a bit more It is this kind of thinking that the sharks are exploiting. They want you to take unnecessary risk and make the wrong moves in the market. They profit from the mistakes of others. So it is good to think of every scenario before you make a move. Yes i agree, and there seems to be alot attempting to push the price down, it wont last though! |

Unlike most people here, i'm actually happy with the decline in price.
The initial pump was too extreme and the pullback is healthy.
This also gave me a chance to buy more xem.

Yes thats right, alot oftraders do loose money, i know this because whenever i trade, ive lost. Im sure alot of dumpers will be killing themselves one day. Best thing i can do right now is stop looking at the charts each day and forget about it for the next 5 years! Well think about it like this, when you borrowed to get your home did you have NEM as a potential income to pay your mortgage? If not, then don't count it as part of your everyday spending. Your calculations should be based on what you can afford at the time with your real life income, everything else that you earn is just icing on the cake. Thats right, I agree. At least i have a chance of paying it off sooner i guess. If i panic sold all my XEM this morning, I potentially would have lost, as its already starting to make gains again. Long term is the key. |

Like the purge with the sock puppets, not everyone will make it. Im telling myself to think long term, and ive made the mistake with other coins before of selling early and then loosing out because the price just jumped. Very hard to do this when i have a mortgage, as its tempting to cash out any time its high, but im telling myself this will pay the whole loan off if im patient. |
