761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: September 30, 2023, 11:29:57 AM
I know that the number of women involved in gambling is very small because in some countries, people's views of female gamblers are still very bad and they are considered dirty and unfit to be a wife. maybe the results of this research can be used by gambling business owners in developing their business.
Casino, gambling are prohibited in our country. Still many are involved in gambling. The police occasionally raided various places and arrested many. There are no female gamblers in such a forbidden place. However, if any they are seen very badly and no one wants to accept them as wives.

If gambling is prohibited in your country and some men continue to engage in such activities, why the community doesn't hold them equally accountable, just as it does with women. Why aren't these men also looked down upon as potential husbands?

It seems to me that you live in a society where gender equality is perhaps not as widely practiced or recognized as it should be, possibly due to those long-standing religious and cultural norms. In places where these traditions are deeply rooted, achieving gender equality can be quite a tough nut to crack.
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New ID requirements for Gamblers in Australia on: September 30, 2023, 11:01:30 AM
What are the key changes in this new regulation? Will Australia's new ID rules mean that bettors have to provide their ID cards before they can start playing?
Considering that ID (KYC) verification is already a mandatory requirement, why not implement it right during the registration process rather than waiting until after a withdrawal attempt? It seems like a fair approach.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Dice sites have something similar to GigaBets Lightning bet feature? on: September 30, 2023, 10:10:23 AM
Gigaget no longer exists hence my question. Basically gigabit allows you to make up to 200 rolls per second and have a minimum bet of next to nothing (something flash bet is lacking). You could make incredibly low risk strategies that would not normally be profitable because of them having such a low basebet, profitable because of the insane bet speed. Also you didn't have to set parameters in order for it to stop you could wait until you saw what you were looking for and then stop it yourself. Another big difference between it and flash bet is you could let it run forever, you weren't limited by setting a number of rolls.

You can try DuckDice.io. There is a flash bet feature and I think it works similar to what you described from the Gigaget site. You can have a minimum bet down to just a few satoshis, probably even cheaper with other cryptocurrencies.

https://duckdice.io/faq#aboutflashbet

Also, you can give Flashbet mode at Wolf.bet casino a try. You can place an unlimited number of bets, and the minimum bet amount in flashbet mode is approximately $0.002 or the equivalent value in another cryptocurrency.

764  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin started in 2009 on: September 29, 2023, 10:22:15 PM
How many people knew Bitcoin in 2009 and how much was it worth in 2009?

Use google and other search engines to learn more about the history of Bitcoin if you are interested in such things. You can even explore old posts on this forum dating back to that time.

If someone bought Bitcoin in 2009, is that buyer rich now?

It depends on whether he sold his coins and when he did so. But from what I know, almost nobody was buying Bitcoin back then since it was easily mineable with just a computer.

Bitcoin now stands at 26,893 and was it lower in 2009?

What do you think?
765  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to spend Sats? on: September 29, 2023, 09:59:44 PM
<...>

When did you start that directory?  I noticed there are only 17 online stores listed at the moment. It might be a good idea to think about adding more stores to make it more helpful for users. You can expand your information sources by checking out sites like BitPay's directory or CoinGate's list. And, of course, don't forget the power of a good old Google search.

Don't be lazy. Do your own research!   Cheesy

There's a dice betting bot that's been part of our community since 2013 (if I'm not mistaken), and it's been a trusted companion for many gamblers here. I'm talking about the Seuntjies DiceBot - Multi-Site, multi-strategy betting bot designed specifically for dice games. It works with many gambling websites; all you need to do is activate API access.

I'm not sure if it can handle 200 bets per second, but it likely operates much faster than the standard automatic betting feature on casino platforms. On the flip side, it offers the flexibility to place bets with minimum amounts and configure complex strategies and conditions, and you can let it run forever.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Dice sites have something similar to GigaBets Lightning bet feature? on: September 29, 2023, 12:35:40 PM
Im not looking for sites that offer flashbet im just looking for something similar to this.

As acroman08 already pointed out, "Lightning bets" from your example are practically the same thing as flash bets. Could you be a little more specific about what exactly you're looking for?

By the way, there are many casino sites that offer flash bets in dice games; all you need to look around and choose one of the more reputable platforms.
768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: September 29, 2023, 12:11:55 PM
Governments and several organisations work to encourage responsible gaming. This involves establishing betting restrictions, offering support to those who think they have a gambling problem, and participating in self-exclusion programmes.

Is there a question in this somewhere?

The complex relationship between governments and gambling... Ever notice how most governments seem to have a love-hate relationship with gambling? On one hand, they're all about those tax dollars rolling in from casinos and lotteries. But when it comes to helping folks with gambling issues, it's like they're suddenly MIA. I mean, they're not exactly losing sleep over folks with gambling problems.  It's more about their own financial interests.

769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: September 29, 2023, 10:50:15 AM
The outcome of the majority of casino games is mostly controlled by luck rather than ability. Examples that are often used include craps, roulette, and slot machines. Players wager on numerous outcomes in these games, and the casino has an inherent advantage that ensures they will profit in the long term.

Casino games where a random number generator determines the outcome are all about luck, not skill. In these games, what's going to happen next is completely unpredictable and totally out of your hands. It doesn't matter how clever or strategic you are; it won't sway the results in your favor.

Casino gaming is a popular source of entertainment. Instead of looking at it as a means of making money, players should approach it with the intention of having fun.

Exactly. All casino players should be aware that gambling is not a sustainable source of income or a surefire way to get rich. This has already been discussed on the forum many times. I'm not sure we need another topic about it.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "revival" of bitcoin on: September 29, 2023, 09:46:37 AM
OP has posted a similar topic in the Russian section, which could potentially provide some clarity here:

I would like to know some opinion on the implementation of converting, say, 1,000,000 bitcoins into banknotes, into paper money, so that they can be exchanged everywhere on exchangers, like dollars, dirhams, yuan. So that this lam cannot be used in electronic form, but only after conversion to digital. Now I’ll go and dare, I’ll feed the dolphins, I’ll come back and clarify if it’s not completely clear. I'm feeling a little seasick, I'm writing from the Strait of Malacca

Well, that is, we burn 1 million out of 21 of one, instead, paper banknotes are distributed around the world with good protection, each banknote is in the register, if it is not there, then that’s it, that block is not there, the quantity decreases, and the price goes up. Is that right? If the banknote is lost, burned, eaten, sniffed, then reissue or not, complete erasure of the block.
(google translated)

Op, what you're suggesting doesn't make sense. Bitcoin was designed as a purely electronic version of cash money, not meant to be physical like coins or banknotes. If we revert to paper banknotes, we'll revisit the old problems that Bitcoin aims to solve. Who would be the issuer of these banknotes? Who would guarantee their authenticity? What safeguards would they have against counterfeiting? Bitcoin addressed all these issues with cryptographic signing, which is impossible to replicate in physical form.

Sorry my English, I feel self liile bad, will be tomorrow.

Well, buddy, hate to break it to you, but that doesn't quite pass as English. No one gets what you're saying!

Try using some online tools to translate your posts, or stick to your local board.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Youth Gambling on: September 28, 2023, 08:25:37 PM
The accessibility of gambling options can indeed pose risks to young people. But that fact alone is not enough to make someone develop a gambling addiction or other related mental disorders. Things like socio-economic conditions, family relationships, quality of education, peer influences ... all can play a role.
773  Economy / Reputation / Re: JollyGood is trusted by - and question. on: September 28, 2023, 04:10:13 PM
There is a verse in holy Qura'n, saying something like this, <...>

You brought up a similar remark in another thread that you've since locked, so I'll respond here. I'm not a Muslim, and your holy Quran doesn't hold any significance for me. But since you've mentioned it, I'm curious – what does your book have to say about lying scammers? Are they on the right side of the phone line?
774  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have solved the problem of complexity in provably fair games on: September 28, 2023, 03:45:50 PM
I might never again get such a good idea or discovery.

I am reiterating my offer. Casinos please contact me so that I can reveal this amazing idea for you!

It's not that no one cares; it's just that no one has a reason to trust you. Put yourself in our shoes: would you trust some random guy on the internet to reinvent the wheel?
Unless you can somehow demonstrate and prove your idea, no casino will bother contacting you about it.

I am not asking anybody to trust me. They don’t have to pay anything until they implement it. Something like this could be discussed.

On the contrary, time is the most valuable resource of all. Every second you spend on useless things you can never get back. Businesses and business owners know how to value their time and will not waste it.

But when you get no answer at all, for someone with my academic background, you start wondering that they might not even have read my application.

That's why I said they don't trust you. Your applications and statements mean nothing if you don't back them up with evidence and proof of concept. Having an academic background doesn't automatically guarantee honesty or expertise in a particular field.

We have 2 scenarios,
1- I trust you, you trust me and we are friends, if you see me keep doing something wrong, would you abandon me and break up our friendship or keep being my friend no matter what?

I don't trust you.

2- we trust each other and have a professional relationship, I keep doing things wrong, you tell me over and over but I don't listen, will you keep trusting me or end our relationship?

I still don't trust you.

More specifically I want to know where do you draw a red line, if you tell JG for example that you don't agree with what he is doing and consider his actions unjustified (would he care about your opinion?) If not then why do you keep him around? Because he has done so much good to wash his wrong doings clean and on top of that he is a friend?

But the thing is, I don't think he (and other DTs who left you a neutral/negative tags) are wrong. At least not in your case. That doesn't make him my "friend".

I'm not worried about my "income from a signature campaign" God has always provided for me from unimaginable places/ sources. I just can't stand injustice, bullying, tyranny and mockery, I don't like it when people think I'm an idiot, so as long as I'm allowed to post here, I will stay the same even so with improving my moral standards.

I don't believe you're an idiot. In fact, I think you're quite intelligent, above average even. And, unless you are breaking the forum rules, you should be allowed to post wherever you want.
But I still don't trust you.

Please stop trying to justify/ rationalize each other's motives/ actions. It's a simple yes or no, whether doing X is wrong or right, no body needs to vouch for me, btw I'm not addressing anyone in particular. These are general questions, of course you "don't have" to answer.

I'm not trying to justify or rationalize my actions. You invited me to respond here.
777  Economy / Reputation / Re: Does Live Stars Deserve My Negative Trust? on: September 27, 2023, 08:53:35 PM
I believe these are all excellent suggestions. A neutral tag, along with a link to a thread in a scam accusation or reputation board that presents all the relevant information, should be enough to ensure their history isn't hidden from the forum community. This way, if they ever try something similar in the future, we'll have a reference point to rely on.
778  Economy / Reputation / Re: To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men on: September 27, 2023, 08:15:57 PM
Here is the reason of this thread: Please do not PM me and ask favor to add/remove a specific user or to leave a feedback because something effected you personally. I have no interest in personal conflicts, if a matter is important for forum well being as a whole then you are most welcome. I will speak up.

Yes, you should definitely speak up. Nobody has the authority to dictate what someone should or shouldn't do with trust feedback. It's a personal decision for each user. As for lobbying efforts, I'm open to hearing well-reasoned arguments from both sides.

I became a father in 2018 and she is my everything in the world.

Respect and congrats to proud dad!
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: September 24, 2023, 06:42:01 PM
<...>
However, we all have some kind of luck so we should strive for what is possible for us.

We're all well aware that in 99.99% of cases, gambling isn't exactly a get-rich-quick scheme. At least that's what the rational gamblers among us should think. Yet, here we are, defying the odds, rolling the dice, and crossing our fingers, hoping that we're the mythical 0.01% destined to hit that jackpot and walk away with with full pockets. Because we are a bunch of hopeful idiots!  Wink

Is gambling all about luck? Absolutely! Sure, there are some exceptions, like improving your poker skills through practice. But when the chips are down, it still comes down to luck when those cards hit the table.
780  Economy / Reputation / Re: Censorship - JollyGood & BetKing.io Scam on: September 23, 2023, 08:42:27 PM
I agree with holydarkness, self-moderated threads are not censorship. Think of self-moderated threads like little pockets of private property within the public space of an online forum. In these threads, people can set their own rules, including heavy moderation, and decide what's acceptable and what's not, as long as it doesn't violate the global forum rules. So if someone doesn't want your comment in their self-moderated thread, that's their right. You are welcome to create your own topic and discuss further, as you just did. There is no censorship.
