7701  Economy / Speculation / Re: DO NOT GIVE UP !! on: October 06, 2018, 02:43:33 AM
I see that the price of Bitcoin is still around $ 6500. Maybe I am one of the many people who expect bitcoin to jump to more than $ 10,000.

Then you need to change your mindset and accept the fact that bitcoin will not jump to 5 figures this 2018. There's no catalyst for the market to even get to $10K. Those who FOMO last year and suffered a lost where already out and will not enter anytime soon.

Until now, I can only hope this will happen in the coming months in 2018. I think being patient and having high hopes optimistically will be a loyal friend in this mind.
Thank's.

Again, its better if you face the reality so that you won't get disappointed at the end of the year. Don't put high expectations because its already October and we haven't seen any signs of a break out run.
7702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Crypto replaced with TOKEN.? on: October 06, 2018, 02:28:10 AM
How can crypto coins be replace by token wherein majority of the tokens doesn't have real usage? Crypto currency has decreased because of so many factors like government regulations and FUD and negative news. But if there's one crypto that stood the test of time is Bitcoin, so it would make sense for alts/token holder to move their funds to bitcoin ecosystem.

So it doesn't make sense for traders or for any investors to shift to tokens because most of their growth is artificial specially by those pump-and-dump groups, besides no fundamentals and no real usage.
7703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP replaced ETH again today on: October 06, 2018, 01:37:19 AM
Its been a on-going battle between XRP and ETH so to speak. There are days that XRP outperforms ETH in terms of volume so obviously it got to second spot. However, ETH investors will pour their cash on ETH again regaining the second spot

Its like this for the last couple or days or weeks so I guess its a healthy competition and the one that will benefit from all of these are investors themselves.

One thing though I like to see is this happening in a bullish market, it could be a different picture, I think XRP will really took out just like what we see earlier this month when there's so much positive news about coins. So let's see how the competition goes leading up to the end of the year.
7704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will the bull run return this December? on: October 05, 2018, 03:16:23 PM
Don't expect too much from the end of the last year. I know that many are expecting similar scenario like last December but this year we have totaly different conditions on the market and although precise predictions can't be made I don't expect another bull run. Maybe some smaller jump compared to current price but nothing spectacular.

Exactly, totally different conditions and different investors. I would say that investors of today are way more smarter than last year. Intelligent investors would study how the market goods, be flexible and make the necessary adjustments.

While investors last year (more of FOMO), will simply put their money and hope that everything will take its natural course to go on a parabolic rise.

I would be surprise if the price reaches $10K this year. We're lucky if we see the price jumps between $8k-$9K in December.
7705  Other / Archival / Re: Be Safe on: October 05, 2018, 09:58:50 AM
Good tips, sadly though a lot of people will still fall for the trap from scammers not because they're everywhere but people are too gullible to trust others. And even we all gave them the warnings, they will insist because their decisions is already clouded.

Just like the phishing or how they protect their private keys. We already have a lot of tips everywhere in the forum, but you will still see threads pop up from time to time about hacks and lost keys.
7706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: October 05, 2018, 09:40:25 AM
I prefer traditional gambling, coming to the casino meeting people and playing there for me is very fun.
I also prefer traditional gambling because online gambling will never give you any winnings. You will also not enjoy the game. Just one benefit they provide is that you can gamble from your bedroom anytime you want. I want to enjoy the game and the atmosphere, that’s why I always visit casino with my friends. There we enjoy the whole night, gambling, drinking and dancing.

Exactly, its the atmosphere of a traditional casino that makes it more appealing than a online casino. People around, drinking, listening to the live band/shows, really great to at least try to go a landbased casino once in a while to have fun.

But if you're that type of person that doesn't want a crowd and not comfortable with people around while gambling then online casino fits your need.
7707  Economy / Economics / Re: Demand-Pull Inflation was responsible for Bitcoin ATH of last year. on: October 04, 2018, 07:53:12 AM
I have come to conclusion in my opinion that excessive demand for Bitcoin and crypto currency in general was the major factors that push its market value higher as at last year. Although It is just my opinion and I will love to know your opinion if contrary to my submission please. And since many who bought or invest at the peak in December this year are yet to recover their losses, it may be difficult for the market to reach such height before end of December this year.

In short, they're overbought last year because of FOMO. Noobs thought that the price will go on a continued parabolic rise but most seasoned traders knows what coming. But still they didn't listen and now they're all burned, scratching their heads and get out as fast as they enter. LMAO.

Now what's left is the whales, manipulators, speculators and bots. And as long as there's no news that will bring those noobs back, it will be a continued struggled up to the end of the year, just saying.
7708  Economy / Gambling / Re: Questions for site owners, developers. Gambling sites and the Lightning Network? on: October 04, 2018, 07:42:09 AM
This will be awesome if the first "real usage" will be the gambling industry. As we all know, this industry was the first recipient of Satoshi's gift to us. Bitcoin really transform on-line gaming into a billion dollar by offering crypto as a payment (deposit/witdrawal) system.

If will also be great to see them the first one to integrate LN so that we can test how viable this layer on blockchain to make payments faster than we ever have seen. And perhaps it will set precedence for other crypto sectors and one day we will finally see the original vision of Satoshi, that is to used bitcoin as mode of online payments.
7709  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the reason Behind The Kucoin Exchange Fall? on: October 04, 2018, 06:23:14 AM
Not only me, Many people thought Kucoin will be the next Binance Exchanger. Kucoin User Interface is like almost Binance, Maybe they inspired from The Binance exchange but that was cool also. Kucoin has stronger security than Binance. A few Months ago, Kucoin rank was in 12 in coinmarketcap by daily trading volume. Then what happened? People are not talking about this exchanger, I have seen Exchange related Threads but maximum people ignore this exchange, at this moment, Kucoin rank is 56!! Even Yobit, Exrates Types exchanger is in a better position than Kucoin! Do You know what is the reason behind this fall?

The only reason I can think of is that maybe they're really manipulating and faking trade volumes that's why the it went as high as 12 as you said. Or other's doesn't get a feel of their UI or have issues.

But again, investors are smarter nowadays, if they smell fishy is going on, they go out and went on another platform. But the price of their token is going strong though, just a shade above $1, just saying.
7710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: October 04, 2018, 06:05:27 AM
One thing I noticed about this fight between Manny and Floyd, after that surprise announcement, theres no more news about it. No follow up to hype up the fight. I am beginning to think hat they are just testing the waters if there's still interest with their 2nd match. If they plan to fight this December, there should be a follow up event about it to keep the interest of the boxing fans.

Or perhaps they're secretly negotiating?

Or maybe you're right, after the initial salvo, we can't find any news related to it. We all know that if Mayweather has a upcoming fight, he usually promotes it on this social media. The last tweet was about Sept 16, a video showing him and Manny in a party or concert.

7711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 229: Khabib vs McGregor Prediction and Info Thread on: October 04, 2018, 05:48:13 AM
McGregor will lose. I believe that his break was way too long. Plus I don't like him anymore. He is more a showman than a real fighter.
McGregor always trashtalking but somehow he always back it up, but let's see with this match against Khabib. I still believe McGregor can win this fight.

Yes, I agree. He can do all the trash talked because he has the tools to back it up.

I remember Reggie Miller referencing Michael Jordan's trash talking in the NBA. He says in the line that if its someone other than Michael Jordan, he would just laugh if off. But knowing Jordan, he was psychologically affected because Michael will just toy with them all night long.

McGregor is on the same breath. Just look at Aldo's reaction and how Conor ruin him in seconds. And Aldo was not the same anymore after that one punch.
7712  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TV-TWO is SCAM! Runned by a DECEIVER founder! on: October 03, 2018, 12:14:23 PM
Well I have posted that they're requiring KYC in their bitcoin paying signature campaign,

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2884232.msg44629157#msg44629157

I have high hopes during that time and I was just waiting for the tokens to get airdrop on my wallet but unfortunately, in the last minute they require everyone to get KYC verified otherwise we wouldn't get our tokens. I didn't submit mine so I'm not expecting anything but its too sad if they turn out to be a scam project.
7713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the highest lost you have made as gambler? on: October 03, 2018, 12:01:23 PM
Wow. By just reading some comments here makes me envy at those players who have the luxury to lost 1 BTC all-in-all. I could only afford to lose $20 playing online, LMAO. I guess I already get tired of losing more bitcoins that's why I wanted to control myself. And now I just played for fun so no harm in any way.

I learn to limit myself and not chase my loses anymore. Gambling is no fun if you are losing big, just saying. So I do hope that others can take control of themselves before it ruin you, just saying.

7715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I join 50 bounties on: September 30, 2018, 12:01:46 PM
I join 50 bounties and spent my time in front of a computer what was reasonable..?

Lol. Wut? 50 bounties? Damn that's a lot, I hope that you still find time with your family and yourself dude.

I guess the primary motivation for you is to make money here. But goodluck to you. I guess no one can answer if its reasonable. Unless you just spend all day long in front of your PC then its not good.

I'm not gonna say that is a waste of time because there's reward for every bounty that you participated but I'm concern of your health. Just don't forget that health should come first and no matter how much money you gonna earn, at the end of the day if you got sick or something then all your hard earn money will just go to your medical bills, if you know what I'm saying.
7716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH break its highest record again on: September 30, 2018, 10:55:53 AM
Can ethereum break its highest record again if yes how much time it will take more

Of course, records are meant to be broken, but its just a question of time. No one has the crystal ball to make exact time, so it might takes months or years to be able to see it reaching all-time-high again.

Maybe a good indication is that if there's some good news coming from the devs like scalability solutions or some big companies started to used ETH's dApps. Just look at how XRapid brought to XRP price recently, it goes as high as 60%-80% increased.

So we need to wait and see then.
7717  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A Site that Exposes Scams on: September 30, 2018, 08:13:44 AM
I like your motive of having a site that will review scams project. Perhaps similar to this one?

https://tokentops.com/ico/scam/

You can also visit the Scam Accusations board. I'm sure that your project will eat up a lot of your time so just be prepared.

I don't have anything in my mind right now to make a suggestions as to what scams you may want to review but I'm pretty sure that you can come up with hundreds to look at as ICO as like born every minute.
7718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain - Killer or Savior? on: September 30, 2018, 06:49:24 AM
blockcain may also be a savior because of the new and sophisticated technology can create new jobs for humans from blockcain technology, from there they can earn enough for their lives ..

LMAO. Are you serious? How can this technology create new jobs when it will do the opposite?

There will be developers for blockchain technology but it is disruptive in a sense that it will minimized human intervention. Imagine everything will be paperless and will used blockchain to see the data.

It will be disruptive to systems like banking which totally rely on human for checks and balance. With blockchain though, everything is seamless and there will be a time that they won't need resources to help them in their business operations.
7719  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the impactors of Bitcoin price? on: September 30, 2018, 05:20:03 AM
There is so many impact that affect bitcoin price. For example fake news, politics and many more. So just keep holding it until the price is upper than when you buy so you can get a big profit

Fake news, FUD government regulations are some of the news that has negatively impacted the price of bitcoins. And it trickles down the investors who panics and sold off without really investigating what's the cause of the declined.

I think that being the impactors of the price of bitcoin is from the increasingly high demand, from the demand taker it will make supply very limited and make coin prices have the movement of up and down the price of bitcoin.

Supply and Demand is just an off shot of this negative news I mentioned above, obviously if there's positive news demand will increase resulting on the price moving up, while a negative news will have a bad effect as traders is influence by it to sell bitcoins.
7720  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Crash on: September 30, 2018, 03:25:55 AM
I have been reading many reports in the press that (Bitcoin) Cryptocurrency is dead, does anyone have any ideas why we are witnessing such a crash as is currently taking place, I feel the banks are doing all they can to unsettle prospective users of bitcoin so they retain the monopoly. I am now seeing twitter alive with people giving away coins etc, what are you doing with yours?

Selling Up

Holding On

if you can do a yes or no we can have a little poll for a couple of days

There's a lot of factors to the declining price of bitcoin, but I wouldn't say its dead, if you wanted to see dead coins because of the bearish season then you can look at Ethereum, which is down to almost 90% now. Bitcoin survived because speculators wouldn't want to see it die, simply as that.

Well Central Banks and Governments are really on our heel doing everything at their disposal to stop this revolution. But then again, how they they stop when people everyday are getting into the market?

For bitcoin to continue to flourish, we need some positive news to pour fresh blood into the market. Meanwhile if you are here for the long haul then I advise you to accumulate bitcoin and hold on it at least for the next halving in 2020.
