They said there would be no extension possible the last time until after the deadline. Then they not only gave them an extension but also found extra emergency money to throw at them for keeping things afloat until the extension's deadline. If Greece is having a referendum about it on 5th July the institutions could well refuse an extension, then change their minds and grant one. Hint: Monday is coming... tick tock, tick tock...

I don't tbh, could you tell me please. Thank you. Odds are, we're going to vote for "No". Thus Grexit. @Ezmoneyezlife: I don't expect a pump of BTC's price because Greeks are going to buy BTC. A few people here know what's all about it right now. I expect though within the next week a HUGE dump in all EU & US stock markets. They all know we're going for crash and they will be after safe havens. Oh, BTW, many here think that BTC is actually one of them...

Hi @macsga and thanks for your work! Once reporting the new users for "THE LIST", can you please provide us their profile links, too? Just to be able to quickly check and review their profiles. Thanks! It's been already quite a job to maintain such a list and not have the time to do it for every member out there. If you, however, want to maintain such a post I'll be glad to repost it on the 2nd post of this thread. Apart from that when a new sockpuppet is added, I must inform you within literally hours (if not minutes) his posts are eliminated (deleted) by some moderator. Thus such an action would be useless. Cheers.

Wow China stock marked just crashed 6%, BTC still not moving down. Let's hope the Chinese use BTC as a safe haven. Oh, the next 48 hours may be critical ™©®
Dow kept downwards too yesterday ( http://money.cnn.com/data/markets/dow/) maybe the markets are incorporating the "GRexit" scenario? Monday will be a HELL of a day if they don't come into an agreement... BTC will surely have to gain, but I don't think this will be imminent. Maybe next week we will see some nice moves.

Guy is giving away a silver bar for 99¢ and the people on the street are utterly too dumb to buy it.
Usually when someone offers you something at <10% of the price it's a scam and most people don't know how to test silver. I guess if your not an expert then why risk it. But, 99¢ though? Why not just take a small risk? They are assuming the guy is a bad person, I think. When in fact they are the bad ones. I knew people who (after they got a demonstration of excel) literally were unable to comprehend that buying a computer was the right thing to do to make their business more productive in the 90s. That's how people are. Taking even the smallest risk is out of the question for them. On the other hand taking big risks (that do not deliver huge rewards) usually come back with huge losses...

Bitfinex has started a pump. Maybe the "Great Wall of Bids" (TM) owner decided to buy in instead of waiting?
A bit early to say, don't you think? Up 2 USD on about 1k BTC of volume... True, but let's say I want it to happen so I really felt trigger happy

After a couple of days of absence, I've noticed that no sockpuppet account has been active for more than 8hrs (tops). This is due to the excellent tracing from the forum mods, also as, the help of the forum users who do not hesitate to press "Report to Moderator" button. Maybe this will put an end in this "new account madness" that NLC & co have been initiated for some months now (I've personally reported about 50 of them with 90% accuracy). Whoever wants this forum clean and readable (apart from using The List) please HELP THE MODS! Press "Report to Moderator" button when you have the suspicion that a newbie account is a sockpuppet. Don't worry, they're easily traceable - their attitude is pretty much recognizable by now. Cheers. Latest additions to The List as of 2015-06-25:u527uj

I suppose that all depends on the definition of "success".
My definition of success is perhaps modest to some, but it is still far away: Bitcoin being the protocol and the coin of the internet realm. If it achieves this, it could well become much more, but this is the success for which it is designed. Knowing your way of thinking, yes; it is a modest target for something that incorporates so many different things in just one package. Maybe the "beginning of success" would've been more appropriate.

that's interesting. anyone have an idea why the blocks are coming so quickly after the dud stress test?: Routed altogether after the bottleneck maybe?

Houston Athens Frankfurt, we have a problem. Will be much fun shorting € in next days Put tarmi on the case and we'll all be begging for the drachma as the new pan-european currency. I bet if Greece will exit the Euro, the Drachma will not be its currency... and before you judge, this is not insider's info, just an opinion.

Why should I believe that bro ? Although I want that for sure.
I might ask you a similar question. Why do you believe that the price won't rise? I've seen and heard different opinions on my situations especially Grexit. Some are saying that it will have a minor impact on Bitcoin or none, while others are saying the exact opposite. Wouldn't their best bet be Bitcoin and/or gold in case that Grexit actually happens? I'm pretty sure the price will rise, and I'm not looking for 6 months, 1 year, or 5 years, my target is a decade from now. But I always like to add reasons for my arsenal. Bitcoin can't be considered yet to be a safe heaven, even bitcoin enthusiast can't consider it a safe heaven. Plus, Greek people are not advanced in the modern IT to know about Bitcoin yet.Nonsense Greece doesn't have a strong ultra-liberal movement like the US, nor does it have to bypass the government like in Argentina; yet. Nor is it starved of investment and speculation opportunities like China. There's just no reason for Greece to have a particular interest in Bitcoin, yet. In fact, Argentina is proof that people will acquire the skills if they need them. Plenty of "advanced" countries have less knowledge and less interest in Bitcoin than medium-income Argentina. We will all know by this time tomorrow... in the meantime (today in Athens):
