781  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Recent Drop Below $60K Is Not Worrisome, Analyst Says on: November 20, 2021, 12:30:24 PM
Bitcoin did a 50% growth and went 7% downwards, oh my God!

I find it unlikely to drop below $50k, but obviously not impossible. This is a very important month and I'm feeling specially optimistic. I've been waiting for the November and December of 2021 long time now. If the market repeats the same behavior it had in 2017 and 2013, we may even touch the $200k.

This is what I call a perfect dip. (And the one at $29k)

There are many who were waiting for this dip to have there Christmas feast. Rather then worrying about this dip, we should worry about how much btc or alt coin we must accumulate. That's wt Buffet said, "buy when everyone fears to buy". I don't think it will fall too much, we may touch 50k or 55k not more then that.

I am not sure whether his statement is satisfactory enough. The market value of these two watches stand at ₹50 million and Pandya is still claiming that he purchased them for ₹15 million. BTW, some time previously Krunal Pandya was detained at the same airport. Krunal went a level higher. He just didn't declared the watches upon arrival. He was caught red handed and forced to pay a penalty. I am from India, and one thing that I can say with surety is that the customs department doesn't issue a notice to anyone unless they have concrete proof.

So both brothers have done same mistake and that too at same airport. One brother must learn from mistake of other brother but they didnt. I was reading that HH Pandya was not able to give proof of purchase of there watches to custom department. ICC must intervene and find out whats going on but I am sure they will surrender once again in front of might BCCI.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 19, 2021, 04:43:21 PM
LOL.. After the India vs England test at the Oval (2nd September), we didn't had a single test match for almost three months. Did anyone noticed this? Just proves once again that test format is dying. There is interest in test cricket only when the pig-3 sides are playing. No one really cares when smaller teams like West Indies or Sri Lanka plays test cricket. Anyway, Sri Lanka will be hosting West Indies for another meaningless bilateral tour. The first test is scheduled for 21st November. Apart from Jason Holder, there is hardly any experienced player in the Windies squad.

Why you call Big-3 as Pig-3 every time you write? We need to have these biletral series since they are played for decades. You cant stop decade old tradition just because of few years of hit T20. Its because of these Test and ODI, we have seen legendary cricketers. It because of these Test and ODIs we develop interest in T20, without them cricket is nothing.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 19, 2021, 04:18:57 PM

And what about the Malik run out? One thing that Batman does nowadays is 2 point out in which direction they were trying to play the ball and that is one thing even I think is really stupid. Especially when you are out of your crease. But I think overall both teams batting performance was really poor.

But on the other hand we have some good news from this T20. First its good to see Bangladesh team performing well without there key players after a bad T20 WC. Bangladesh team must try to maintain this form in other countries also. Second, Hassan Ali was player of the match thanks to his 3 for 22 spell, it was much needed performance from his after he was criticized for dropping catch in semis of T20 WC.
785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 19, 2021, 03:54:43 PM

The BCCI just received $2 billion or so (almost equal to the 8 year budget of the ICC) from auctioning two franchises. I guess now they can agree to an equal share of the ICC revenues. What difference does $15 million per year in additional funds will make for them? On the other hand, if this amount is distributed among 15 associate sides, then we will have cricket as a truly global sport in some years from now. IMO, all the full members should be receiving equal amounts from the ICC. That is not the case now, since the BCCI receive $50 million per year and Ireland receive $6 million.

I have a different prespective on that. If we talk about Ireland it's a much developed country with infrastructure of football and other sports already there. But if we see country like Afghanistan or alike there is hardly any infrastructure there. Such factors must also be kept in mind while distributing funds to associate teams.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 18, 2021, 04:18:30 AM

I agree that the ICC fund distribution is not being done in a fair manner. It is being done in a way to make rich boards richer and poor boards poorer. For the 2015-23 cycle, the BCCI (richest board in the world) will receive almost 5 times the funds when compared to the poorest boards like Ireland and Afghanistan. But it is till an improvement. During the Pawar/Srinivasan era, the BCCI used to receive 50 times the funds when compared to Cricket Ireland. They are yet to decide on the distribution model for 2024-32, but I hope that it will be done in an unbiased manner.

India is major contributor for ICC funds and major beneficiary also. ICC matters are mostly decided by Big3 boards. Now due to IPL, BCCI has more control over small boards and ICC. As far as 2024-32 distribution model is concerned I don't think it will different from 2015-23 model. Rich boards will become more rich.

What I have realized after the world cup and this match today is that there shouldn't be any Matches in the dew prone regions, if there is a match in dew prone region it shouldn't be a complete night match. It's because in such circumstances toss becomes a very important factor and team batting second gets too much of an upper hand, this really spoils the fun of the game. Today's match was still reasonable as both innings were affected by dew but IPL and world cup were miserable. ICC should really see to this big issue as we are moving towards a T20 dominant cricketing world.

Toss is the main deciding factor throughout this tournament, you win the toss you win the match. ICC will learn something from this and must see conditions before deciding the venue. Dew factor is semi's can be avoided by changing the timings of the match but nothing done in this regard.

Maybe your logic is right, but I am not feeling in this way because all Indians are not vegetarians, just 50% or 60% many communities are eating meat like Christians. Muslims and some good number of Tamil Nado it's all about system in long run Indian Board authorities were feeling comfortable with spin and batting tracks, but after good thing was happening as they were investing good in MRF Pace Academy now it's giving good dividend, and they have some good number of quality pacers specially after Sri Nath and Prasad due many youngsters doing good for them. Kapil Dev and then we have Zaheer Khan and now Ishant Sharma with over 300+ wickets which is great from them in difficult situations, but now they have some good number of fast bowlers those are doing good in IPL and domestic, so this is bringing big change for them with quality and balanced team.

One reason why Indian batting failed specially against Pakistan in UAE is because they used to play fast bowlers with speed of 120 to 130 in IPL but Pakistani pace bowlers used to bowl over 140. This league structure is not good for cricket in the long run, player who can perform good in test or ODI is real cricketer.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 17, 2021, 04:02:56 PM
Moving forward,  we have T20 series coming up between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Just before the first T20, Bangladesh have big blow as Tamim Iqal, Shakib and Wicket-keeper Mushfiq are not part of the team due to fitness issues. In the absence of these players it will be very difficult for Bangladesh to win T20 series against Pakistan.
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 17, 2021, 03:55:47 PM
Currently, mostly countries facing due to very weak domestic system they are not funding like we have in Australia, England and India its biggest threat to their international exposure. It needs some good investment which is not coming, so they have serious ups and downs in their International forms as well all countries need to have some good and quality domestic system which give some good confidence to their players for all situations Australian really investing some good, so they are having some good benefits from this in all formats recently we have some good in India as well but still need time for having good results. In Asia, we have no good country who can spend and in this way.

That may be one reason why Bangladesh and Sri lanka teams are down and out these days. But we will not see any support from big 3 for such small  boards. PCB for instance, is undergoing huge financial crisis but recently NZ and ECB cancelled there tours despite knowing this financial crisis. Small boards have to do themselves to uplift there teams, don't expect anything from ICC or from big 3.

Pandya is a married man with one child, his wife is an Indian-based Serbian dancer and actress Nataša Stanković. This news will have huge impact not only on his cricketing career but his personal life also. He was very much criticized for his inclusion in Indian T20 WC squad. The only question I have in my mind is why this woman spoke up just after WC, why not when she was assaulted.

Seems like Hardik Pandya's bad days are not over yet. Bad T20 WC, Rape allegations and now this, Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya's luxury watches worth Dh2.4 million seized at Mumbai airport. The watches were worth 5 crore and Pandya has no receipt of these watches. Pandya is perhaps undergoing the toughest phase of his life, lets see how he tackle this situation.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CATA]Flow | NFT | Metaverse | Decentralized Cloud Storage on: November 16, 2021, 06:14:25 PM
Decentralized storage is required by not only NFTs but also by other blockchain based systems like DAPPs. Many are waiting for the launch of such projects since the NFT domain is overwhelmed by new projects but not many are providing solution to already existing problems. Lets wait and see how this project comes out.
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are options to mine a profitable crypto on my computer. on: November 16, 2021, 06:01:56 PM
there is a complete site where you can enter all the parameters such as energy cost, type of graphics card and power (hash per second) based on these data it tells you your earnings in 24 hours and which is the best algorithm / coin to use the site is https://whattomine.com

Site is to technical to be used by newbies or less technical people like me. Nonethless we need simple answer that which coin complexity is less and can easily be mined on less expensive gadgets. MASS has removed the need to use of ASIC and we can mine it on our devices, that's some positive news for new miners.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MASS is profitable and Cheap to mine ... Here is why? on: November 16, 2021, 05:56:25 PM

795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: November 16, 2021, 05:51:42 PM
I think this coin has not performed well in current bull run, means that it hasn't taken advantage of Bitcoin ATH. If it hasn't gone up in current bull run then there are very few chicanes that this coin will go up once the bull run is over. One need to be very careful while investing in this coin. Still there is no harm in keeping boom in your profile if you are long term investor.

797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins that are very down now that may pump? on: November 14, 2021, 02:11:01 PM
I think that those coins that remain on the dip even during altcoin season, will not pump any more. Now all good projects are on highs and all outsiders will not pump any more I think, as they have not made it now.I am not aware of Reddcoin, PIVX and Neblio. And I think that maybe they were popular some time ago, but as they were abandoned by investors, there are no people who are interested in them any more.

Those are shit coins that are not going up in curren bull run. Coins who refuses to go up now, will not go up after this bull run . I don't know much about Reddcoin and PIVX but Neblio has performed well in this bull run, so if you are neblio holder you must be happy guy by now.
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Religion and Finance [Bitcoin] Overlap and Clash on: November 14, 2021, 01:46:19 PM
I am not a Muslim but I live in a country where Muslims are the big majority and I have a lot of Muslim friends.A lot of local scholars here declared it forbidden too for the same reasoning as you point out in the first post. However I liked very much the explanation of one of the most well known scholars which he has a magistrate(I think the highest education to Islamic religion) from Saudi Arabia Islamic university.

Muslim scholars with time learn things specially related to technology and finance. For instance till 90s Muslim scholars declared stock trading as haram since its not backed by anything. With time they learned that they are physical representation of company and now its declared halal. Right now scholars  are not clear about this technology. With time they will learn and made it halal.
799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know if current prices are corrected or going to correct? on: November 14, 2021, 01:34:57 PM
You do not really get to know, traders can speculate but cannot accurately determine when the price action changes. This is the reason it's better to buy and hodl if you do not have knowledge of technical analysis, you are not burdened with finding out where the price is going, you only need to understand the fundamentals and determine it's a project worth investing in.

When buying, it's better to Dollar Cost Average than to try and game the market and wait for the price to fall.

There is no way one certain that todays ATH is final one for Bitcoin or it will go more up from here. Its all based on how good you are in analysing the market with tools and with your knowledge. DCA is best way to buy a coin, never invest all your money at one price.
800  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: November 14, 2021, 01:23:42 PM
The logic for investment is buying low and selling high and currently Bitcoin has a new ATHs is it safe to encourage new investor to buy now seeing how high the price has gone? My fear for new investors is that the don't experience a dip after buying since no one is sure of how far the new highs will reach.

Buying anything whether it's crypto, stock, commodity or any other thing at its ATH is not recommended not only for newbies but also for experienced user. At ATH, the experienced users sell there coins while newbiea made mistakes of buying it. If you are new comer then not to invest right now, if you have some knowledge then invest only 20 to 30 percent of your capital.
