81  Economy / Gambling / Re: From $17 to $37000!!! Craziest Crypto Win in 2023!!!! on: January 15, 2024, 08:11:20 AM
Lucky, Very lucky man. I've read stories like this in this forum from last year and this year and a common thing is the players won a massive amount by playing slots. It is believable since the jackpot on slots are massive but the chances of winning that jackpot is so so low that I myself never experienced winning a jackpot from slots. It need extreme luck like having a once in a lifetime chance to win. It's is a good topic to document to be honest, casino paying out a massive amount of money and a gambler who won a massive amount from playing on that certain casino.

With the publicity, I think this is good for trustdice even if they lost some money to a guy with a $17 capital.
82  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 15, 2024, 07:23:20 AM
In the case of 1xbit, it would be difficult for a newbie to spot their shady Modus operandi, without going though doing their own research, as they are supposed to.

Research is very important, it doesn't take a lot of time to know the reputation of a gambling site. Just open google browser search " 1xbit scam" and information will pop up, the number 1 in the list are coming from bitcointalk, so newbie could read the accusation and would be able to know that they cannot be trusted.

I think that's a method that beginners rarely do, even if they just write the name of the site, it won't show up as a fraud report in Google search, for example, beginners will definitely type 1xbit and they won't find a link to this forum about 1xbit scam, I've done searches many times. google but it doesn't write the word SCAM, it will lead me to information about the site and their site unless there are already lots of reports everywhere, maybe when you do a google search maybe 1xbit Scam will start to appear.

Beginners who play carefully will usually find out more before playing such gambling and will tend to escape from fraudulent sites, but if beginners just join in because they see advertisements or promotions, they will usually be more likely to be trapped on fraudulent sites, so that's why It's important to remind people outside this forum of the dangers of this site out there, for example creating an article about the fraud that this site is committing might help add to the 1xbit scam search list in Google searches.
Yep this is true, I don't know if 1xbit had done something to achieve hiding a 1xbit scam recommendation when you search them over the internet. Also if you search 1xbit only on the search bar, this thread which is full of facts that 1xbit is scamming people hardly showed up on my searches. A typical newbie who has no doubt about 1xbit can easily trust this casino and could possibly ended up being scammed. I think that's why people only come here after getting scammed because this thread shows up if you search "1xbit scam" in the search bar with just a few scrolls.
83  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Blackrock Layoff in relation sa Bitcoin Price Fluctuation on: January 15, 2024, 07:11:55 AM
I agree, kelangan talaga natin mag adjust kasi we are headed toward the future which we is anticipated to have an AI supported world. We need to learn new skills na hindi mapapalitan ng AI and those skills will be in-demand and important in the future. There are still time to learn, wag tayo mag pa iwan kasi di hahabulin ng companies yung mga workers if meron cheap alternative like AI's.

I also agree na hindi ito related sa ETF given na hindi lang naman bitcoin yung major holdings nila as a company, more like management decision yung nangyari kayan nag ka layoff sa company nila.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Intersection of Bitcoin and Gaming Industries on: January 13, 2024, 03:14:04 PM
Just like others, I don't think that bitcoin and gaming is a good combo. Also, as far as I know there's no existing game that is built on bitcoin blockchain. Bitcoin has transaction current issues right now that needed to be solved and adding gaming into it would somehow affect bitcoin is a bad way. There are a lot of crypto games out there that is using altcoins with their native tokens, less gas fees, fast transaction time and also built to accommodate the game. If you are talking about gambling, there are a lot of casino already that accepts bitcoin.
85  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does this Qualifies you to give non-professional or semi-professional financial on: January 13, 2024, 02:05:17 PM
My question is quite simple and straightforward. If you have been holding and investing in Bitcoin for the past 15 years you have experienced several bull and bear markets. You witnessed the Bitcoin halving events in 2012, 2016, and 2020, as well as the unfortunate incident of Mt. Gox declaring bankruptcy in 2014 after losing approximately 850,000 bitcoins in a hacking incident. And you were part of the debates within the Bitcoin community regarding the scaling of the network to accommodate a growing number of transactions. You also observed Bitcoin reaching an all-time high of nearly $20,000 in 2017 and the significant institutional adoption that occurred from 2020 to 2021, with companies like MicroStrategy, Tesla, and others . Also you saw El Salvador becoming the first country to officially adopt Bitcoin as legal tender in September 2021. With this wealth of experience among many others not mentioned do you think it qualifies you to provide non-professional or semi-professional financial advice regarding Bitcoin to individuals?
Every crypto users has different experiences on the crypto space. This can results in inconsistency on advises among old member but most of the advises that is fact would be similar. Trend changes, this opens new experience even to the oldest crypto users. Sure, crypto users who has many years of experience had learned most of the fundamentals of crypto but this doesn't mean that they know it all or right about all things on crypto. They have an edge but people should always do their own research.

I personally give advices on people that I know learned the fundamentals of crypto but it is not surprising that I can learn from them from time to time, mostly with the new crypto trends.
86  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am very interested to work on it on: January 13, 2024, 01:26:51 PM
My name is Humayun.  I live in Enayetpur.  I have four members in my family.  I am my sister my father and my mother.  I am struggling to buy a phone.  I found this link very hard.  I would love to work on it.  Someone teach me, I am a very poor boy.  It would be very beneficial for me to do so.  I am studying in Class Nine now I am in Ten. I know a lot about Bitcoin.
It's good that you know a lot about bitcoin. If you are struggling to buy a phone, try to earn money as much as you can by doing things that you can currently do like doing some side hustles like affiliate to resell things without a capital. Try to maximize the skills that you currently have, I've been there. After buying the device that you like, you can start earning online also if you have skills that you can offer online, I don't know what age you are right now but try the possible things that you can do. Try to also learn new skills like trading after you buy your new device, it's not an easy one but you can learn without spending money.

Also, don't reveal your name and address here or anywhere in the internet on the views of the public, it is a bad practice.
It's just that I think di pa ganun ka knowledgable ang karamihan ng kawatan kaya di nila ito ginagamit, hopefully di nila malaman LOL.
88  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 12, 2024, 04:05:40 PM
The more advertisements that are displayed on crypto sites, whether they are block explorer sites or other sites, beginners will definitely see them, especially gamblers, they will definitely try to visit them with the lure of big bonuses that will enable people to try playing there, currently maybe in the bitcointalk forum. they can no longer get traffic from the community because it has been marked as a dangerous site but we can't guarantee that outside this forum, crypto site owners out there should get information about this site too. victims will continue to increase from outside this forum
One thing about advertisement is that people always care much about how much a company is winning to spend to advertise their brand and not necessarily the reputation of that company. Take for instance in this very forum as majority of the forum users have already known that 1xbit is a scam company, even if they return to promote in this forum with a good amount of money, you will still see many forum users who will sacrifice their accounts to promote them because of the bucks of dollar they will bring to the table. That is exactly what happens with those blockchain explorers and other sites that 1xbit advertises on. They do little or no research about the company since the age of the domain is old enough they will assume that they are sincere and keep advertising them to get the money.
Yes, in this case too I no longer see 1xbit ads on blockchain sites and on several other crypto sites, but maybe I will find it somewhere else, maybe you are right that they didn't do any research what is on their mind is how they install advertising in crowded places including in this forum, where previously they held a signature campaign advertisement but it seemed like they wasted money in vain because their site had been marked on this forum.

Supposedly if they want to restore a little of their reputation, maybe they can make things better as long as they are willing to resolve every existing case and their accusations in this forum, but it seems that 1xbit has no intention of doing that because it seems like they also know that it would be useless to do that because of the public's trust in This forum has certainly gone downhill on this site. Even then, they should also realize that the signature campaign they carried out previously was really in vain.  Grin
Maybe you are not being hit by the algorithm of advertisement anymore. I'm using adblockers to remove temptations and also to not see annoying advertisement like 1xbit. I agree that 1xbit trying to revive their reputation by conducting a signature campaign here would be their worst idea given that all of the members of their campaign are being red tagged and it helped spread to the forum that they are scammers. Their marketing team should be in vain after seeing the results. They can't reclaim their reputation anymore, too many forum members is aware how notorious they are in scamming people. If somehow they want to become a legit casino, it would be better to just create a whole brand new casino and advertise in this forum. Though I doubt that they have that kind of intention.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the view of an average citizen About crypto currencies on: January 12, 2024, 08:47:06 AM
The future of crypto currencies is unknown,  but it is a new generation of Money which is already replacing the paper currency, especially Bitcoin been the most popular and successful among other crypto currencies so far, bitcoiners need to know that currently Bitcoin is trading low from its all time high, Bitcoin should not be viewed as a short term Investment, but should be seeing as a long term life changing investment due to its liquidity and high returns when trading high.
Bitcoin is a digital currency that has come to stay, as long as the internet stays , most persons that didn't believe in Bitcoin 10years ago regretted it, that will be also be the case for people who don't be in it now come 2034.so think positively take the risk and Investment in Bitcoin today.

The future of cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin is not UNKNOWN. Seeing the progress of bitcoin from the last 10 years and here we have now the bitcoin EFT approved. This would mean that bitcoin is not going anywhere and it is the future.

If the average citizen thinks and denies the bitcoin and cryptocurrencies then we can have no words for the ignorance of such people. They will just remain back in society if they are still conservative about accepting bitcoin.
I see bitcoin ETF as a catalyst to bitcoin adaptation, ETF could possibly help the distribution of bitcoin among US citizens thus increasing the bitcoin knowledge and could spread bitcoin curiosity on US. I believe that 3/4 of the earth population possibly didn't know what bitcoin is or heard about it but I think with the help of ETF and other similar way to distribute it, it can help people to understand what bitcoin truly is. I think that people outside crypto space should learn more about bitcoin and over all cryptocurrency as I believe it will our future.
90  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie, be careful of the Bitcoin information you process on: January 12, 2024, 07:39:43 AM
~
In conclusion, it's very important that we gather enough information by making our own research and also learning from others especially in a community like BTT. let's not be too quick to jumping into conclusion especially in topics that we are not familiar with. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
The forum, and YouTube are the two platforms that helped me to gain knowledge not only on Bitcoin, but cryptocurrency in general.

TBH, the amount of false information back then was very small. All you can see at that time are kind of legit information that will help a newbie like me. Most of the time, I'm just watching documentaries because I will learn at least the basics at that time. Now, you can't even recognize which is true, and which are not true, and if you're a newbie, the chances of you getting mislead is kind of higher than in 2017. Gathering information would be beneficial if you're a newbie, but what if the information that you're gathering are not true? What if you're watching a video that's only created thru AI, and the contents of that video aren't true at all and worse, it may cause you to get scammed?

I don't know how to solve it TBH. Maybe just focusing on watching documentaries would be a better option to at least have a grasp on what is Bitcoin, and the basics of it. Over time, you will see new information as you browse online. Like what OP said, always be careful on the information we are getting because there might be a chance that the information that we are getting aren't true at all.
Youtube is full of crypto information that exceeded my expectation. If you like video type style content, Youtube would be the first platform that you should check since there's a really good crypto contents out there. If you like written format and like reading community opinions, this forum is the best place for you, second would be reddit in my opinion. Twitter or X is 50/50 for me because it is full of trolls and fake influencers but twitter is the most preferred social media of huge upcoming projects that's why I'm still using it. There are also good influencers on twitter that got my respect.

To be honest, newbies don't need to learn the deepest technical side of bitcoin. They just need to learn the fundamentals of it and also an experience on how to use it to become a bitcoin literate. This is much more easier compared back then where there are only few tutorials or guides in the internet.
91  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto scams flourish most during bull runs. on: January 12, 2024, 05:23:24 AM
Scammers have been the more reason why most people refuse to invest in bitcoin, thinking that bitcoin is a scam. Its actually true that the bullish season and the ETF approval will increase the rate of scammers online, but that would not stop us from knowing their true identity. Like me I always know their activities especially on Facebook. Now the price of bitcoin is rising so do their activities on trying to scam people also increased. I see them on facebook always telling people that they are investment company which you will invest bitcoin or USDT with them and they will trade it for you and you will make x2 profit, and that is a big fat lie which implies that their motive is actually to scam people. So I believe it's only a fool will fall for such cheap lie or scam. How on earth will somebody send bitcoin to an unknown address or person hoping to make profit instead of seeking for knowledge on how to invest.
Being scammed is easier to spread than having a good experience on bitcoin. It's true that there are still people up to this date that is still think that bitcoin is a scam even without even trying to use it or having it. They are scared of the unknown. This is why I think that if we want a true bitcoin adoption, we need to fill people with knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. This can reduce the victims of these scammers who are taking advantage of bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency. Even having a basic knowledge of bitcoin can reduce the chance of you getting scammed. This is what happened way back when internet is still new, people are still skeptical about it and scared to use it. Things had change when people got the knowledge of how to use it and now, everyone use it. I believe that we will come to the point that it will happen to bitcoin and no one will become ignorant about it.

During a bull market, a massive flow of people will come to cryptocurrency. It is seen as an opportunity of scammers as the chance of them having a victim sky rocketed. I had experience various scam methods and it keeps evolving every bull market. Let's be careful because I'm sure that there will be new scam methods that will be executed during the bull market and also their good old scam methods that are still effective to newbies.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woes of gambling on: January 12, 2024, 04:59:52 AM
Take casino games for example especially jackpot casino games there is no way you can tell me that all of them are structured in such a way that they randomly always make money for the house if you ask me gambling is a fraud that has been used to trick people into believing that their choices matter it does not everyone that gambles is just there to make money for the casino unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about human nature 💔💔💔
Is it that hard for you to understand? The house has a capital for rewards so say they've put in a capital of 500k USD and that's their jackpot prize now they can price their tickets or the plays on that particular game to about 2 USD and people will think that it's such a cheap price to play and have a chance to win that much, now if there's 500k people that thinks this way then they're netting a 1m USD profit and in that process, the jackpot might not still even been won by any because the casinos are the ones that's setting it up so the chances of winning is so low. Gambling isn't a fraud but rigging your games so no one wins, is a fraud, gambling is a business at heart, it supplies the demand of the people to take risks.
Yep I agree, casino is a business and business is something that can generate profits from their product or services. If the casino is honest and true, their business isn't fraud given that they made games that can profitable to them and offers a chance of winning money from them. In fact there are other businesses that are also taking advantage of their users, one example of it are social media sites where company sells our datas. It's a bit unethical right? But it is their business model and we as a user had agreed with their terms and condition before using their platform.

There are just people who fails to understand that casinos are businesses, they are also trying to make money but on a way that other people wouldn't do.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your gambling life could affect your relatives lifes. on: January 11, 2024, 04:32:43 PM
When someone ruin their name not just in gambling but also in other addiction or action as well.
It is not just them who would be branded by it, the ones who are close to them would also be accused of doing the same thing.
Worse is that others would think that those who are close to them are the ones who actually support or push the person to do it.

You're right, no one will even wanted to be identified with such a wreckless gambler because what they are doing is a disgrace to the public, but when we are gambling responsibly or maybe make a huge won on our bets, the relatives will like to wanted to be identified with us, just as the same way it's been applicable to someone who is unserious about his life, no one will want to make friends with such a person, but when someone is determined for excellence, he turns a celebrity, your relatives will be looking after you and not you hunting after them.
Yep that's true and it is happening in real life. Depending on what you are doing, as long as you are very good at it and it is not illegal, most of your relative, friends and closed ones will have a positive approach to your so you can think good to them, though it is the opposite if you are lagging behind or not doing well on what you are doing. This applies even in gambling, if you are a successful gambler, people will see you as a professional gambler but if you are failed one, they will see you as an addict or a throw away person at worst.

If you care on yourself, do what you want and don't think of other persons. As long as you think that the things that you are doing brings a positive impact in your life, continue it and be happy with the things you are doing.
94  Local / Pilipinas / Re: SEC has now approved 11 spot bitcoin ETF on: January 11, 2024, 03:55:59 PM

source: https://www.coindesk.com/business/2024/01/10/bitcoin-etfs-win-sec-approval-bringing-easier-access-to-biggest-cryptocurrency/

Finally! lumabas nadin ang approval tungkol dito, dami din kasing naghihintay tapos kahapon may mga fake news pang lumabas na naapprove na daw kahit wala pa naman talaga, pero napansin ko last last day, nag $47k na ang bitcoin, ayun yung kasagsagan ng rumors about ETF Approval, so let's see kung ano pang mangyayari sa BTC lalo na't confirmed na talaga ngayon, posibleng mas tumaas pa ang value nito. Happy BTC ETF approval day talaga!
Yun nga ehh, swerte naman ng nag palaganap nung fake news nayun kasi the next day is na approve na yung ETF or what if insider news pala yung fake news na yun at na leak niya na approved na yung ETF? Ingat lang tayo kasi even alam nating pataas ang bitcoin due to increase in distribution sa US is possible padin makaranas tayo ng corrections from the market. At personally may inaabangan paakong last massive dump at according yun sa historical chart ni bitcoin. So let's be ready and try to have stable coin or fiat pang salo ng market dump, it may be our last chance to buy.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto: a place where everyone makes money, but few secure it on: January 11, 2024, 03:18:35 PM
I was reading coinconfessions, and it occurred to to me that most of those who are in crypto go through a phase where they make lots of money, but eventually lose it all or most of it due to wrong decisions taken due to having lack of financial knowledge.

Some start fresh with lessons learned and make it back, for some having huge unexpected money come and gone creates a downward spiral that they feel hard to get out of, almost like they were better off not having this unexpected wealth come in first place.
I experience this on my first bull market. Making big money on crypto and with the various wrong decisions in life, I lost it all and became depressed on how I lost majority of my money came from crypto. It was an easy money from crypto back then and I lost it so easy also. There was so many life lessons and financial lessons I got from that experience that changed my whole life and how I see things and the over all crypto space. I got back on my foot fresh and zero but regained and remake the things but on the right way last bull market.

It's a thrilling experience that I believe common to those who made money easily but lost due to beginners mistake but reclaim their comeback.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: How to stay poor! on: January 11, 2024, 02:58:03 PM
As a businessman or salary earners here are tips on how to stay poor in life. Grin

1. Spending your money on unnecessary items immediately the money arrives. Trying to prove a point to people by living a standard that is above your pay grade.

2. Live on one source of income. Everyday of our life our responsibilities and challenges keeps piling up accumulating without consideration to our financial capability. The economy and cost of living continue getting worsen. So in order not to be able to beat this piling settle comfortably on a single source of income flow.

3. Become an extremely cheerful giver/lender to friends and family. A wisdom quote I read somewhere said, "if you want to lose your friends and family lend them money".  Keeping doing this and you going to be successfully poor.

4.Learn how not to mind your own business, making every events around you your concern even when it doesn't affect you. It's a nice way to make cool enemies. Etc.

I trust you all get the sarcasm as conveyed.
I like how you give advices on this kind of approach. I hope no one follow the said things above as they want to get poor.

The listed things above are widely present on the people that belongs to the financially poor bracket. I know it because I been in that bracket. The mindset we should have should be the exact opposite in the list above. I honestly guilty in one of the advices there. Live on one source of income, I've experienced it and had been contented on that kind of state not knowing that one source of income is not how rich became rich. If we want to improve financially, living on a single source income should not be an option.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF officially approved! on: January 11, 2024, 02:24:25 PM
A few days ago I posted that very soon this ETF will go a little way and bring about the beautiful days of Bitcoin.  Many did not believe then.  Looked at it with disdain.  But my words are true, Bitcoin ETF has been approved and the price of Bitcoin has now become 47 thousand plus.  Now we can expect Bitcoin to pump big again in 2022 and break all its price records.  I have given the link of my previous post below.

Post link :- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5471685.msg63056979#msg63056979

We know where bitcoin is headed, to be honest I strongly believe that ETF will become a reality when I heard it but it is a matter of time when will it be approved as we see so many delays from SEC. Today, bitcoin ETF has been approved which can result in an increased distribution on US and possibly can pump the price and of course go past the recent all time high. Though just be careful fellas as we will see correction from the pumps, it is inevitable. It will never go up and up without a single dump, just be careful on institutions taking profit.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would it be like owning a Bitcoin in 2024? on: January 10, 2024, 05:50:23 PM
I can advice people owning bitcoin but I only advice to people who has a prior knowledge first. I don't teach them, learning it how to use it and what to do with it with their own effort is important. If they have the sufficient knowledge about bitcoin, they will know the history of it, how to use it and how risky it is. We know that the volatility is considered by others as risky but I believe that it differs from person to person, I see volatility in a good way and understand how to take advantage of it.

Knowledge and understanding bitcoin is what makes them invest aside from the potential profits they can get. Non-holders themselves are the one who will decide if they will have some portion of the bitcoins depending on the knowledge they have about bitcoin.

As much as I want it to support local pero currently wala padin talaga akong tiwala sa PDAX or gcrypto given na marami pa sila dapat ayusin at mas marami yung nakikita kong reklamo compared sa papuri sa kanilang platform. Kung gusto nila ma capitalized yung buong local crypto scene is dapat nila ayusin yung mga dapat ayusin at bigyan tayo ng better experience. Malapit na ang bull market at it's a fact na dadagsa ang maraming newbies sa market, if gusto nila makuha yung loob ng newbies eh dapat ngayon palang is galingan na nila sa pag promote at iimprove yung mismong platform nila. This same goes with coins.ph na degrading yung services in my opinion.

No one enjoys losing in gambling.Losing brings our hopes down, it ushers in emotional pain and grumpiness whereas, winning elevates our mood, bringing happiness and excitement. There are games where I have won and after withdrawing my winnings, I am so happy that I give gifted some of it to people around me. This doesn't last for long once the it is out of my hand and minds. I am curious, how long does this joy last after a win or a loss—does it linger until your next bet, lasting the whole day, just 20 minutes, or perhaps 2 hours?

A joy last for a day at max I guess and the loss will last for days or weeks depending on how much I lose on a casino back then when I was still somehow a newbie gambler. Of course I am expecting a win when I do gambling and its a temporary happiness that I can get when I beat a casino and taking out money from them. When a loss occur, it is much more painful because of the fact that I myself is the primary reason why I lose money, until I learned my lesson and move over to my losses. I guess the losses is one of the factor why I got addicted on gambling before because I tried to recover my losses, it is a gambling mistake I know but I learned so much from it not to chase a loss, today I am applying the lesson on my everyday life.
