801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 27, 2020, 01:14:58 AM
Imagine if Terrence and Pringle played alongside with C.Stand how far this team will go and how many season would be in their belt right now?
No one knows, maybe they will become the new super team of the league or maybe still the team that gets choke in the playoffs Grin. In my opinion, success is not guaranteed even North Port got Terence and Pringle along with Stand. I can't explain why either, I just feel the imbalance lol. Bollick is enough, they can already form a dynamic duo with him Smiley. But if North Port is really pushing for a trade, I think much better if they will find a man who can assist to Stand. A slightly tall man which can do the defense and got a accurate perimeter shooting — a good Shooting Guard.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: April 26, 2020, 01:47:46 PM
It’s easier for people to cheat than to work honestly. My conscience would never allow me to deceive a person, which is probably why I am still poor ....
And there's nothing wrong about it, you should stand proud despite of having such status Smiley! Remember that MONEY isn't everything in this world. Yeah it was essential for living but life is more than that. If I have to choose, I would still go with clear conscience despite of being poor because the fulfillment of having pure heart is the real happiness you can get Smiley.
Continue playing fair and square.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making Cov-19 as excuses on: April 26, 2020, 05:22:33 AM
Lol, they are useless. Even if there was no covid-19 pandemic, they would use another excuses to scam peoples.
Too many shit coin running crypto project, and resulting trust damage from honest investors to cryptocurrency, sad.
You got a point, projects sprouting these days seems not worth of our effort and time. Though I'm not directly affected by this since I just stick to bitcoin (now you know why) and well known alts, I can't help myself to feel sad because the stigma left to deceived investors or people who heard such bad news remains. Thus resulting to bad impression to the concept of crypto. Those fraudsters are the real enemies, they are a big hindrance for us to get even more adopters Sad. However, I believe that there are still good projects existing. It is just so happened that bad ones outnumbered them.
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most gamblers can never hold onto big bag? on: April 26, 2020, 01:49:19 AM
My God! You're friend is only having a taste of money then poof lol. So unfortunate for him Sad. We all know that losing is normal but d*mn losing all you've got often is a toxic experience already.

I guess your friend does not know to exit that's why he always come to a point where his luck depletes. Also, maybe he also lose control on betting. Remember, larger bet means larger loss. I think you shoulf advice him to set his own limits and maintain control every time he gamble Smiley
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to improve the usability of bitcoin? on: April 25, 2020, 03:24:26 PM
For me bitcoin is good enough already. I mean, it doesn't necessarily need to be simplified further because it can be learned fasr by an individual given that there are proper knowledge acquired before using it.

Bitcoin itself can be use anytime and anywhere, I don't see technical problems with it. The main issue I can see here is the problem on adopting this technology. If we really want to see it on the mainstream then we must show our support on it. Embracing it is the only way for it to attain world dominance and feel its power Smiley.
806  Economy / Economics / Re: is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments? on: April 25, 2020, 10:41:04 AM
I dont really think so, if some government where behind the creation of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency then they would lose all control with their citizens tax collections and unable to make revenue and even damaging their own local banks investment program and monetary system thus ruining their Economy.

You can consider the possibility that after the government created bitcoin, it lost control over it. And that is why now the government is trying to hinder the development of bitcoin, and in some cases even prohibit it. And so, as an alternative to bitcoin, the government is now working on creating a national digital currency.
A conspiracy over another conspiracy lol. I admire you for having an imaginative mind but I disagree with you. The idea of 'government as the creator of bitcoin' makes no sense at all. Because if they really are then for sure bitcoin fall long time ago already. Since they use the pseudo name of Satoshi Nakamoto and allegedly got the largest number of bitcoin, they why they don't dump it once and for all so that the price will crash so bad and don't recover again? That's the best way of killing it I guess and yet they are not yet doing it until now Grin.
807  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need Beginner Suggestions on: April 25, 2020, 07:29:47 AM
If your only motivation for coming here is just to earn money then I think you will not survive here for a very long time. For sure you will get bored as time goes by. Like what your cousin said to you, you need tons of merit first in order to be qualified on bounties/sig campaigns. And take note earning it was so hard (only crypto genius can attain Legendary in a short period of time lol).

But if you are really willing to stay here then study first. Familiarize everything you need to know and be a good member. It will consume a lof of your time but it will be all worth it in the end. The benefit you can get here is not all about the money. Gaining broader knowledge and becoming a wise money holder is priceless Smiley.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Expectations for year 2020 on: April 25, 2020, 03:30:45 AM
it's 2020, of course my expectations for bitcoin halving this year exceed $ 20,000. and we all know that covid is sweeping parts of the world, hopefully it will end quickly so that activities run normally.
Of course everyone wants the same as well but mate let's have a reality check first. We are still in the middle of pandemic, economies of countries (whether the Westerners or the 3rd world) continue to suffer and assets are declining. I don't want to burst your bubble but I think it would be less hurtful for you if you lower down your expectations Cheesy. Honestly, I'm skeptical that we will hit the last ATH or even exceeding it. We're lucky already if we hit $15k.

Now that is going to be one nice fight to watch. I hope so atleast.

This news shocks me as I woke up this morning Shocked. What an amazing fight card to be honest, it revives my excitement within. Nah! You can forget about the main card because prelims can make us full already Grin. Just kidding. But honestly, I'm excited to see Fabricio back on the cage once again. He is one of my favorite HW champ.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 24, 2020, 12:58:45 PM
What do you think about Snoop Dogg and Daniel Cormier as UFC commentary team for Dana White Contender Series?  Grin Cool
I am not sure this would be best thing to do...
read more source:
https://mmajunkie.usatoday.com/2020/04/snoop-dogg-ufc-commentary-daniel-cormier-contender-series-madden?taid=5ea2a39ee3c40700015e9d0b
I think that as a commentator should work a person that understand sport for 200% and I doubt that Snoop Dogg knows all the moves and techniques.
Absolutely! So I think insisting this duo is not a good idea. Well, I know anyone can learn familiarize MMA and its jargons but the one who use those terms in an actual fight is still important. It must be on your own character so that the audience could easily believe in you especially when you are saying your opinions about different matters related to the fight. If I will asked you, whose statement would you believe regarding a match? A rapper or an MMA fighter? Of course you will believe the latter one at first because you knew that he is more knowledgeable about ithe sport.

So I think much better if Dana just choose Bisping, Rogan or famous retired UFC fighters as Cormier's partner Smiley.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I 'delete' useless tokens from my wallet? on: April 24, 2020, 07:36:58 AM
I feel you bro Grin. I know the feeling of getting something but means nothing at all — a wonderful trash. I still remember my newbie times, that time I just collect and collect. You know, I joined crypto faucets, airdrops and enter different sites just to get few unknown coins lol. But as I mature, I realized that they are all worthless so what I did is just create a new wallet and forget the rest. I never regret all the decisions I made tho, I am happy with my current holdings Smiley.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: April 24, 2020, 04:10:10 AM
I can stand without watching other games but d*mn I really miss UFC and PBA so bad Cry. It disappoints me a lot especially that big fights are supposed to happen. But due to the pandemic, they are all postponed/cancelled tsk.

But I can feel the hard times are ending soon. The Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) here in our country might be now over for some provinces. This was a great news. It will surely help the sports industry as well as the gambling industry here in our country recover faster.

sure the entertainment is gone for awhile but thanks to this I can watch Animes and series I have been wanting to watch for a long time because I am busy in classes
That's good for you. Actually I do the same thing just to kill the boredom inside our house. Pokemon (2019) marathon all day long Grin.
813  Economy / Economics / Re: Rookie thing. on: April 24, 2020, 01:59:24 AM
I'm not an economic analyst but here's my own opinion about this Smiley. It's up to you if you will agree or disagree on it hehe.

1. There is no question about Fiat money (whatever it is $, £ or euro.) thats its losing it's value, so the question is. If it got no value what value Bitcoin have then ? ( i will use bitcoin for must common crypto but thinking of any). Can't get my head over it.
I guess Bitcoin's price will rise. You know why? Because btc remain as the only existing currency so tendency the whole wide world will shift into it which result to a mass adoption. There would be a high demand for this asset therefore will result into a price hike. But well all of this won't happen either if from the very beginning mankind won't choose btc as their currency and prefer other means of transacting (eg. Barter trading).
2.If you imagine in let's say 20 years FIAT goes to CRYPTO all the way. You want to buy a car worth $5000 but paying in Crypto, how much would you pay ? if $ got no value.
Hmm, but how did you say the car was worth $5000 if $ has no value in the first place? You get my point Cheesy? What I think will happen here is that we will establish a new pricing standard (using btc of course) but I don't know how tho lol.
814  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit isn't everything in bitcointalk! on: April 23, 2020, 02:50:10 PM
Being yourself is really great than pretending to be a great person. Smiley
Yeah I agree. Even though I'm just lying between the middle of experts and morons (maybe nearer on the side of morons lol), I'm already proud of it. At least I know to myself that I'm not a cancer cell here inside our forum. So for those mediocre posters out there, I just want to say "You can do it!". You will be recognized someday, just continue the good work and remain obedient. Trust God's process Smiley.
815  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit isn't everything in bitcointalk! on: April 23, 2020, 11:48:02 AM
Actually what I wanted to tell is, if you are not making enough merits even after you are giving your maximum effort doesn't mean that you are not deserved to be on bitcointalk at someday you will get caught by the merits sources until that keep posting and learn new things which you are being yourself.
Very well said Smiley. Me? I don't sweat it, just chillin. What I mean is I never push myself so hard because at the end of the day the one who will decide whether you made a quality post or not is the rest of the members here — and you can't please them all. Actually, what I only do is to communicate normally with you guys. I just try my best to convey the ideas inside my mind, share what I know and offer help if I could. That's it! Maybe I'm just fortunate that some people appreciated my posts and gave me merits lol Cheesy.
816  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 23, 2020, 10:10:30 AM
China treated this virus very well and this is why the virus affected only Wuhan.
If all other countries around the world would have taken this virus serious we would not have so much deaths and infections all over the world - with the biggest impact happening to the US.
Indeed, if they (most of us of course) did not underestimate it then for sure they are not the country leading to number of cases and deaths due to covid. I thought they can easily beat this because they are well known rich and powerful country but as we see the virus seems really strong. Now I realized that whether you are a powerhouse or just a small country, an unknown enemy is a big cahllenge for you.

Actually prior to this, I saw a video interview on FB. A man ask questions to a girl face to face then suddenly she say sorry for having a hoarse voice because she had the corona virus. Like wtf! Though  the video is a meme (it was edited), the content is still quite alarming. See? Being undisciplined at its finest tsk Roll Eyes.

Ps. Sorry if I can't give the link, I guess FB shut it down.
817  Economy / Economics / Re: The drying oil on: April 23, 2020, 04:06:29 AM
Don't tell me the covid-19 global pandemic cases is inversely proportional with the oil price lol
Hmm, I can say YES for that. I mean that seems true simply because numbers don't lie. Don't worry, the oil price rollback you are witnessing is not unusual. We also experience here in our country Cheesy. And this happened due to the low demand of people.

So if you have a car, better to get a full tank now before the low price lasts. That's the best move you can do right now. Though it will be useless because you can't totally use it right now due to wide lockdown, but at least you now have a plenty supply when the price go back to normal. The few bucks you save from it is not bad in all fairness.

Well, sad to say for oil companies but I guess their Black Gold weakens at this moment Grin
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 26 days to the halving left, what are you expecting? on: April 22, 2020, 01:20:52 PM
I already stop expecting of what could happen next because it stresses me out lol. I'm getting a liitle bit more frustrated with the current pandemic so there's no room for me to think aboit it. If the result of halving is bad then so be it them if it was good then much better. Less expectations, less hurt Cheesy. But one thing is for sure, I remain holding and I guess my next move will depend on how things go Smiley.
819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: April 22, 2020, 09:23:02 AM
That is why I do not have an active bank account, I keep my funds in bitcoins and gold.
Okay, I understand that you diversify your money cryptocurrency and gold. I admit that you did a great choice but my question is where did you store your cold hard cash? I mean, I'm just wondering where you save it since you are not having bank accounts. Huh

Hmm, in my opinion, there's nothing wrong of relying on banks because safety vaults and piggy banks are not 100% safe for storage. Plus, there is now a law against money/coin hoarding.
820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 22, 2020, 07:22:07 AM
I'll be glad if the NBA would finally resume.
Me too and for sure most of us here feel the same way. I am really thirsty to watch NBA games once again Grin. But I wonder, if the current season will be finished this way then who would be the proclaimed champion? None? As in Buck's 53 W 12 L record will get void and not recognized?
