I've seen quite a few auctions now; might be time to put up an informal orderbook with binding but withdrawable bids/asks.

Directions
(1) Minimum quantity for bid/ask is 50 as of March 2, 2013.  This is to prevent overcrowding.
(2) Withdraw orders that are filled.  These are binding.
(3) No discussion except for orders, quoting orders, and rule suggestions.
(4) Format for posts is (withdraw (id)) | ((bid|ask) (amount)@(price)) (ex. bid 100@0.5 or withdraw id 54)
(5) PM me to fill/create anonymous orders.

I suggest doing this in the auction subforum as the posts cannot be altered there.

Well, it would be a somewhat unique "auction," but since you cleared it, I'll move it there.

Sell 900 @ .9

Buy 2000 @ .25
10

No discussion, but a proposal: to not flood friedcat with transactions of single shares, I suggest limiting trades to a minimum block size (e.g. 25, 50 or 100).

bid 2000 @ 0.35
ask 1000 @ 0.70
11

Sell 100 @ 0.895
Buy 100 @ 0.44
Buy 50 @ 0.48
12

Ask 100 @ .90

817  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Where are the Bulls now?] Who's buying at 31.20? on: February 27, 2013, 08:30:09 PM
The big upturn will come Wednesday... that's what the statistics say Smiley

Historically, your posts have been substantial and overall a pleasure to read.  That said, are you actually speaking of any real statistics here, and if so, could you point me toward them?  Thanks.

Yes, I've seen real stats that show that Wednesday is generally a good day for the bulls (I think it was geometric average of price gain by 6 hour blocks throughout the week or something).  Unfortunately I can't seem to find the post because the forum's search page is terrible.  I'll keep trying...

edit:

ASICMINER shutting down again...

I wonder if friedcat is sequentially testing all the boards in sections, and is getting ready for full launch Smiley
