zhou, I hope the huge askwalls are fake.
1282  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoinica made order book public on: March 29, 2012, 01:23:18 PM
IIRC you always argued that doing so would be a disadvantage to bitcoinca users.

What are you talking about?  We were always at war with Eurasia.
1283  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it safe to break out the 10:1? on: March 28, 2012, 10:16:52 PM
My parents don't even know.

Hey Atlas, remember what you were saying about being a parasite?  I think you should think about it... you might've been correct.
1284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it safe to break out the 10:1? on: March 28, 2012, 10:14:25 PM
atlas, what's your total position? >1k BTC and <2k BTC or >10k BTC?
1285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it safe to break out the 10:1? on: March 28, 2012, 10:11:06 PM
I am going to be a pompous rich ass:

113 BTC is nothing to me. I don't need to hedge that.

If it's nothing, then surely you don't mind sending me some coins Smiley

There is a season for all things. We'll see if the time for 10:1 was here all in good time.

The time for 10:1 is never.  You might be right, but it's never a really good bet, especially with Bitcoinica-sized spreads.
1287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it safe to break out the 10:1? on: March 28, 2012, 07:25:32 PM
Is it safe to go all in?

...

1288  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: First Pirate Savings and Trust on: March 28, 2012, 05:00:25 PM
It'd be kind of neat if someone adjusted that image to have the wheel be a giant gold bitcoin Smiley

No that would be lame

Sad

If it makes you feel better, I liked your idea Smiley
1289  Economy / Speculation / Re: I just went full long with 1000+ Bitcoins. on: March 27, 2012, 03:49:13 PM
So Atlas, what do you mean by "full long?"  5:1?
1290  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: btccharts.com on: March 27, 2012, 01:12:04 PM

Man is bound to the Eternal Laws of God, a moral code, which exist everywhere, irrespective of whether they acknowledge it or not.

Don't you just love religious retards who claim to be "objective?"  I'm looking at you, luke-jr...
1292  Economy / Speculation / Re: I just went full long with 1000+ Bitcoins. on: March 27, 2012, 12:32:48 PM
Translation: I wished my mom lended me $5k to go full long with 1000+ bitcoins but it didn't happen.

Although you might think so, Atlas was an early adopter and does indeed have plenty of bitcoins of his own.
1293  Economy / Speculation / The Great Wall of March 26 on: March 27, 2012, 04:41:28 AM

This post was made so that months after this wall falls, we will still be able to see exactly how it looked on the day of its construction.

I salute he who has made me believe in rockets again.
1294  Other / Meta / Re: Should we have an Atlas child forum ? on: March 27, 2012, 01:31:47 AM
Bounty time.

Bounty for the creation of an Atlas subforum is now 15 BTC = 10 from me, 5 from Jonathan Ryan Owens
1295  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Prove to me objective "rights" exist. on: March 26, 2012, 09:32:41 PM
It's all preferences.

Wow, you finally get it.  Congratulations.
1296  Economy / Lending / Re: The Bitcoin Credit Agency on: March 26, 2012, 05:52:52 PM
It shouldn't be too hard, since you're just adding another table of loans and repayments.
1297  Economy / Lending / Re: The Lending Bubble on: March 26, 2012, 05:14:38 PM
unified reputation tracking system(like heatware, ebay feedback, etc).
