The other thing Id like to add, is that his fund is what, almost 6 months old now? I havent heard anyone being told they need to take their coins out of the fund because Pirate has no more need for it. Has he not made a dime of profit all that time while paying out ridiculously high interest rates? I think now is a good time to start worrying if you werent already.
Well, I have heard of someone who had his funds forcibly withdrawn to his address. Goat, please confirm that in January, Pirate returned some funds he could not handle back to you. (Public proof is already in Pirate's thread.) I am late to the party but I am also okay with how things are going. It took me a while to figure out the system but that's fine.
I had some coins get sent back. How do I know when it is okay to send them again?
Thx

This is a public confirmation of a 118 BTC transaction to take place between REF and likuidxd.
Terms 118 BTC will be paid to 19LvLLPuWtmu9yQG9faNh2PBREGhdB1w1e by likuidxd. Upon likuidxd's confirmation of his receipt of REF's computer hardware, his money will be released to REF (no fees). If likuidxd does not confirm, REF must PM me shipment details and other proof that the shipment was sent... if 21 days elapse since the transaction without shipment details provided by REF or confirmation by likuidxd, likuidxd gets his coins back. If likuidxd does not accept the proof of shipment but does not respond or disappears for 3 days, his money will be released to REF. If there is still a problem, I shall release the coins to the most convincing party.

Why doesn't everyone just leave it alone and let people do whatever they want ?
Because people are wrong on the Internet!

Perhaps a sticky instead, with services updated in the OP?
I guess that works, but you'd have to make it a rule that people can only advertise in that sticky. Also, I think it's better for each service to have its own thread.

Are you pre-selling any, and if so, what volume is required?
He was, but now they're gone! 7000 shares sold already

Can we pay you obtain the router too? I might like to get one, but I don't feel like shopping around for the right router. Whatever you get, make sure it is very portable and has tons of flash + cpu etc.
I would be willing to find the best router for you, provided I know what your budget is. Give me a budget, I'll search around, probably offer you a couple different routers I found, and leave it up to you to make the choice. However, I currently don't have the cash to front the purchase for one, so you'd have to send payment for the router before I can send you the PirateBox. Let me know! You stolted my business brah! This is weird how similar we are though... I'm 16 years old, and got into Bitcoin when I was 15 years old. Granted I've been programming, doing server administration, and the likes for years and years, but I was able to understand the technical aspect of it.
I'm saving money for a new laptop...
Both the same haha. Ah well, you beat me to posting, so its yours. Good luck! Hehe, well, greetings fellow teenager-in-need of laptop. And thanks. Anyone who wants this can get it from this guy too. OK, get me a price on the fastest and most capable pocket sized router. It needs to have at least one Ethernet port and one USB port, and wireless is a plus but not a requirement. Also, for anyone that wants a laptop, I have a used one of these available: http://www.eurocom.com/products/showroom/specselectnew.cfm?model_id=20212GB RAM, i7-980X, X58 chipset, nVidia GTX 280M, 17 inch 1920x1200 matte display, number pad, 3 megapixel webcam, 2x 220 watt power supplies, jet-engine fans, etc. The battery lasts 5 minutes, or 10 tops with all the power saving modes enabled. They actually refer to the battery as a UPS system, since that is essentially what it is - it is supposed to keep the thing on when it gets unplugged by accident. $3200 OBO 12 cell battery lasts 10 minutes on that thing?

For public record, I've paid an additional 900 BTC to znort987 since the last repayment mentioned on this thread, for a total of 800 BTC in loans.
znort987 had a 1000 BTC loan with me at 12.5% MPR, which has been fully repaid as of today.
znort987, please confirm.

Due to technical difficulties, this bond auction has been postponed at least until GLBSE is back up and running smoothly again.

Cutoff noticeIf your bid is under 1.065 BTC, you need to move it up, because that's where the 2000 bond depth cutoff is

On the 14th, I'm even pulling out from IneedAUsername, as I pm'd him multiple times and have not got a reply yet.
For the record, I have not defaulted on any loans from pekv2 yet (or defaulted on any other obligations). pekv2 will confirm this. I have contacted him regarding the PM. I fully intend to repay pekv2 and my other lenders. Also, for the record, I will not default on loans just because you do not PM me, or just because I miss PMs. They are recorded in a spreadsheet, by username and bitcoin address, with multiple backups. Yes, I confirm that I have received a pm as explained to me there were technical difficulties with the personal message system that was suppose to send out mass notifications that I never received. Please forgive me on both parts of me taking it in public as I didn't want to send more pm's that I already had to you inau. I've PMed you again, hopefully bringing this matter to a close Sorry for not responding to your many PMs.

Am I the only one who sees something reasonable in this?
Person A willingly invests in a Ponzi scheme. He believes that his exit strategy will work, and the Ponzi scheme pays him 50% a month. He bets that the Ponzi scheme will last long enough to pay him his money and interest. Person B doesn't want as much risk, so Person A pays him 40% a month, reinvests in the Ponzi scheme, and insures his deposit from the scheme's collapse.

I will revisit this offer in the near future once I am 100% debt-free and have withdrawn 50% or so from my Pirate account to keep in cold storage, so that I can match deposits 1:1 using BTC and not have to rely on other fiat for insurance purposes. The last thing I want to do is end up like another Shakura (or similar) by getting in over my head......all 'bitcoin-star-struck' with dreams of new-found riches on the horizon Once I complete my current Loan I will re-post a more serious offer that states what I have said above (1:1/Cold Storage matching etc). Cheers, bitlane. Actually, you shouldn't do that. Let's say you have 50 BTC deposits, and you match them in cold storage. If you match: pirate defaults -> lose 50 BTC from cold storage pirate doesn't default -> gain difference between 20% MPR and 31% MPR If you just put your 50 BTC with pirate in the first place and don't take the deposit: pirate defaults -> lose 50 BTC pirate doesn't default -> gain all 31% interest It's always better to not take deposits if you're going to match 1:1.
