Block! by Got and a payout Far out, Got.1 got one! Coincidence? I think not!

Yeah, well, much like Vegas don't play with money you can't afford to lose. Not that I expect to lose anything, it's just not doing very much at the moment! Soon enough we'll be back on track. I think.

Literally a phantom miner!

....and we're back in delay mode! Suddenly the S9 they had ready to ship turned into a T9, which is the wrong unit, and so the wait continues. I thought they came back with good news a little too fast! Consider R4B4 only hashed full power for a few days to a week at most, ran at 1/2 power for a month or so before being unplugged to ship back in May, delay in getting shipped for a month or so, and after sitting at Bitmain for quite a while now I still wait... Not cool at all. So for all of you who still want an R4 for its quietness and efficiency, which is great if you get it, it's a 50/50 crapshoot as far as I can tell.

By jimmy! Woo Hoo, let's get September in the green, eat your chicken folks!! Top jimmy cooks, top jimmy swings, top jimmy, he's the king!! (apologies to Van Halen)

No need for all that. Just set your router up DHCP as most of us do and you'll be fine. If you increase your mining to dozens of units or more then maybe upgrades would be needed!

This area is for Bitcoin, not any altcoin. Move this thread to the altcoin section for more applicability!

Keep reading, you're WAY OFF! hint: Bitcoin supply is set.

I will be feasting on chicken today...

There is no extra tax. Add 60-100 shipping depending on which carrier you choose when checking out. No customs until you cross $2500, so if you're just buying the one (or one at a time) no extra $$ there either. Cheers, and good luck on your mining endeavors!

Interesting, but this is the Bitcoin area. Move this to the Altcoin section and you'll be welcomed there.

Yup. We SO need to get that kano-ites meet-and-greet going!

Well either way I think you're probably going to buy a PSU for this now, eh? 7A at 1400W implies 220+/- AC input... You need 12VDC at 120A or so to run an S7 at 1400W.
|
|
|
Recheck your math. 12V at 15A is only 180W, and at 24V is 360W...

An easy way? Not really, at the least you'd need a high power DC/DC converter, perhaps multiple ones, and the plugs and such. I'd not want to go that route. And I just hand wired an Objective Lens focus motor coil for one of the Laser Beam Recorders here at work so I could goof around with stuff like that...

Block! by HerbDean 15BTC Pew Pew, I was solo mining a bit during my sleep, flipped them back to the pool when I woke up. Boom first block of my 7 A6 Schweet! A 4 block sunday, not bad at all! Mine on!!
|
|
|
Instead of assuming, go to the pool's website and see what their payout page says. There are different ways of doing it, no one way is the same for all. Besides, you know happens when you "assume", right?
