I am not sure if Warner helped the team or put them in danger. Warner was playing too slow where he needed to strike hard. Now he is gone and the new batsman is in pressure. Require rate is going up very fast.
Australia needs someone to score very quick to release some pressure from the team.

Something seriously looks awkward with David Warner's performance today. He's literally treating this ODI match like a test match; I hope he does something good before it's too late for Australia. They've got a huge target to chase, dots and singles can't cover it all, at all! I think worldcup will be won by England / Australia / India and the two teams which can surprise in this world cup are NZ and PAK.
Mate, you literally just listed 50% of the teams. At least cut down the list to 3 teams.  ...and it'd be pretty funny if none of those teams win the world cup and West Indies takes it away! Nah, if this was T20 then I would bet for West Indies. They have no chance. My bet is for Australia to win the cup but the way they are betting, I am a bit shaken. It all depends on how Australia is going to face Bumrah with his tight line and length and if Warner dismantles the Indian opening bowlers then it will be a different story altogether, another interesting aspect is how Australia will tackle the spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav, if India can pick wickets in the beginning then it will put the pressure but if they start comfortably then they have the batting line up to chase this total, if Australia wins this match, then Glenn Maxwell will be the player to help them chase this total.
Australia needs a good start and they have to be very active in the middle overs. They can not miss too many balls. Single and doubles has to be their priority so that the require run rate do not starts to climb up. If they can follow these rules then we are going to see a very entertaining match and hopefully a win for Australia. ~snip~

Aussies have big name on this squad but India even too,they have best bowler in this format and also have many variations which can trouble Aussies.
But fast track has advantage on them,so lets see who is going to perform well.

Good to see that India promoting Hardik Pandya at this stage and he is sent at this stage to smash from the get go and then i am expecting Dhoni to come and we are expecting a score above 350 runs from this stage until we see some wonderful bowling from the Australians mean while Kohli should bat till the end and play the anchor role. With the bowlers India have in this tournament we will win the match if they can score anything above 320 runs in this pitch.

8 wickets in hand and 54 balls remaining,these all are called death overs for a reason.Batsmen try to hit every ball out of the ground so chances of reaching 350+ is certainly possible from now on.Interesting thing is still Dhoni yet to come into the crease so if Aussies took a wicket then they are in more danger mode than now.
If Dhoni bats then from the last over surely he will take 20+ runs. He has done it again and again several times. I am also positive that 350 runs are possible. Kohli, Pandya is going to take every chance to get as many runs as they can get. |

Why are people talking about 400 and 350? At current run rate India would hardly reach 300. If they are able to take advantage of the wickets they hold, they could reach upto 325 but no more. Australian bowlers won't be delivering them easy balls. And they have just 60 balls left and 100s the most they can get of it.
We are considering the last 4/5 overs. Since India have wickets in hand, they will hit hard in the later overs. They will look for over 10 to 12 runs an over. You may see one or two over with 20+ runs. So 350 runs is achievable. We will see. |

Australia needs to pick wickets. Don't think India will able to make more than 400, they will be around 340-370.
