822  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: Nieuw met mining, on: September 09, 2014, 04:51:04 PM
Hallo,

It's sad to hear that Baritus is leaving. He made a great coin. DigitalCoin has Always been one of my favorite altcoins (and still is).

Let's hope the Digitalcoin Foundation brings this coin to a higher level. The coin deserves this, and Baritus too for all his efforts.
824  Economy / Services / Re: win88.me - affiliate program - earn up to 0.5BTC per week on: September 09, 2014, 04:44:17 PM
Anyone here can post any winnings in the win88 affiliate program? Strunberg I think won..

09-08 06:00:01 0.00894201 ReferPrize

Hit "menu" and then "account" and you can see what you earned out of the referalls.  So, I almost earned 0.009 BTC. Not much, but hey, it's something. Thanks referalls!
825  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW ZenCloud ZenPool Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: September 05, 2014, 02:47:32 PM
You have to pick a pool and check scrypt or BTC. To activate

Not with the new single-pool hashlets. Those can't be changed.

Indeed, you're right. You've to pick a pool with the early hashlets though.

It would be great if we someday can connect the hashlet with a pool WE WANT. So, also with no-multipools, for example pools to mine GuldenCoin, DigitalCoin, Feathercoin etc directly.
826  Economy / Services / Re: win88.me - affiliate program - earn up to 0.5BTC per week on: September 05, 2014, 02:36:11 PM
2 days more and we will know who did good in the affiliate program. Please post who got the biggest reward here. Thanks

My reward already decreased to 0.007 BTC.. That ain't much ^^.

However, as I'm quite busy in real life, I'll keep this signature for a while. I will find another signature campaign when I do got more time to spend on this forum.

828  Economy / Services / Re: win88.me - affiliate program - earn up to 0.5BTC per week on: September 03, 2014, 09:26:47 PM
Hm, I'm wondering how this referall thing is actually working.

Currently I see: Don007 0.06346670 0.00962086 (= last: BTC reward), at the leaderboards. However, this was a bit more earlier.

Could someone explain this to me? When will these rewards be added to my balance?

Allthough this obviously bring in some BTC for me, I think a "normal" signature campaign might earn more.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] Guldencoin.com/pay-here — Guldenwallet for iOS coming soon on: September 03, 2014, 09:24:04 PM
Market calming finally. What a ride it was.... Nice settling of the price if this is the balance between buying and selling.

Even going back down to 600 would still be incredible compared to where things were a month ago.

Range between 1300 and 1670 now. Nice price  Smiley

Wow, indeed, what a ride. Obviously I bought way too less GuldenCoins for a cheap price!

I think the price may stabilize about 1000 soon, but that is great too! However, seeing this, I do expect a new rally.

830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] Guldencoin.com/pay-here — Guldenwallet for iOS coming soon on: September 01, 2014, 06:59:31 PM
Put up your hands if you miss those 100 sat prices ?

Not really, as it's great to see an altcoin which is actually a success these days.  However, it should be worth 100 satoshi again for a few minutes and then hop to the current price. I'm going to be a rich man then ^^.. Hehe, nah, I won't do that, as my supply would ruin the current market xD.
831  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you think BiPolarBob is crazy ?? *share your deals you did with him before* on: September 01, 2014, 06:56:54 PM
I've dealt only once with BiPolarBob and the trade went really well. It's weird to see him wearing that red "Warning: Trade with extreme caution!" tag.

I bought a very cheap Steam code from him. He send me the code first and I paid him afterwards.  So, I only have a (very) positive experience with him.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DigitalCoin.Co | Secure. Established. Active Development | v2.0 Released! on: September 01, 2014, 12:22:57 PM
That are some good points to think about.

Introducing POS may be a solution to keep people from directly dumping their coins after they've mined them. About which disadvantages of POS are you talking about? I don't have any technologic knowledge about the codes of a coin, but is that going to cause problems?

The multiple algos idea is indeed interesting, but we won't be able to use Scrypt ASICs anymore to reinstate / save the network. And I think the GPU mining era almost has ended..

I'm sure some people over here really want DGC to survive. My Scrypt ASICs are still in production though, but somehow it should be profitable for anyone to mine DGC / save the network. I think very few people are willing to spend their hashpower on DGC when they can make a high-XX% more profit on other coins / multipools.  Hopefully anyone will atleast spend a bit of their hashrate on DGC.

More brainstorming:

Problem: We need more loyal miners who save DGC instead of selling it right away to the market and protect the network at the same time.
Unfortunately, it's a chicken or egg situation.

1. How how do we attract miners? Will decreasing the block reward attract more or fewer miners? Are there other ways to attract miners?

Some would argue that scarcity is a way to stabilize the price and make DGC more valuable, so it will be be more attractive to mine again. This, however, has NOT worked when the block reward was decreased once before. PoS is one way to attract miners as they earn interest. There are a few PoS coins that have kept their value far better than DGC (like PPC, NovaCoin, others), but I understand it's challenging to switch to PoS, and there may be other disadvantages, too.

2. How can we convince miners to save coins instead of selling under value/ for a lower and lower value via multipools?

Miners need to be able to spend the coins (virtual goods and services / real world products) and believe they will be worth more in the future/ will be harder to mine. DGC has a lot of the infrastructure for merchants in place but insufficient popularity.

Multipools are still a problem and DGC hasn't adopted KGW yet.

3. The multiple algos idea is interesting, but probably too difficult to implement on a short term basis.

4. Merge-mining sounds like the last option to me in order to save the network. Even a lot of loyal DGC supporters still haven't invested in scrypt Asic miners. This may still change in the next couple of weeks/months.

833  Economy / Services / Re: win88.me - affiliate program - earn up to 0.5BTC per week on: September 01, 2014, 12:13:33 PM
Sadly this 'pay out up front' service has already ended. I definately do understand the reasons behind it though.

Maybe you guys should reconsider something like a fixed payment (per rank) + bonus for the refferals that someone personally brought to Win88.  Why? Because I think the income for advertisers now isn't even close to what it was earlier.

Promoting people to post their ref URL might lead to people spamming their ref URL (on this side but also on the rest of the internet) as they want to get as much refferals as possible. I don't think that's what you guys like Wink.

However, I'll keep the signature for a while. Atleast untill I found another trustfull party.  It looks like Win88 lost already many publicity on these forums as many people already have changed their signature to something else ;\.

Edit;: hey, obviously i've atleast brought 1 referal to Win88: according to the leaderboard Smiley
834  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Battlefield 4 cheap! and many more Games Cheap Prices! on: August 29, 2014, 05:27:07 PM
Anyother game you want. I have got bunch of keys. Smiley And Bf4 will never come on steam, Its for Ea Origin only Sad.

Ah, I didn't knew that. I'm sorry.  I'm only looking for games at Steam sometimes, as I do think Steam works great.  I know there are some Battlefield games out there on Steam, for example 'Battlefield: Bad Company 2'.   If I ever need a Origin key for a game, I'll contact you!

835  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Battlefield 4 cheap! and many more Games Cheap Prices! on: August 29, 2014, 05:19:56 PM
Yes Battlefield 4 keys. I think Ea orgin is the correct word as steam doesn't allow ea games. So you would like to use escrow?

Ah alright. Nah, I'm not looking for games on Origin, I'm sorry. I use Steam for my games, which is quite the same I guess but a completely different party. (http://store.steampowered.com/).

Good luck selling these keys. You're price isn't bad! Smiley
836  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Battlefield 4 cheap! and many more Games Cheap Prices! on: August 29, 2014, 05:15:36 PM
You mean Battlefield 4 codes for Steam?

If so, I might be interested. If they're not somehow area bounded..
837  Other / Archival / Re: Nu ook evenemententickets betalen met Guldencoin (NLG) on: August 28, 2014, 05:10:14 PM

838  Economy / Services / Re: win88.me - signatures - 0.15 BTC paid up front on: August 28, 2014, 05:00:08 PM
Right now the site policy is you need to make a small deposit of 0.0005 in order to withdraw first. It's a security measure that they implemented and according to the admin they are considering changing that policy but have not done so yet.

So anyone having trouble withdrawing amounts over the 0.02 minimum should just send a small deposit and then proceed to cash out the amount desired.
Why wouldn't they just allow withdrawing?
OP should be able to individually remove withdrawal limits.

I donated tiny bit of BTC that was missing to withdraw limit. or could just wait 12 days. When there will be paid for whole month, it will happen in few days time, no one will get less then there is withdrawal limit.  So is all fine and no worries.

pays per month are from 0.03-0.15, so more then 0.02 withdrawal limit.

You can find the signatures you should use in the first post of this topic.

And, something went wrong with your signature I guess, as you're promoting CoinPiler in your signature and this is all about Win88.   Choose one of the two Wink.

839  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Would you buy a hardware wallet? on: August 28, 2014, 02:24:54 PM
are there any alternatives but trezor ?

I've only read many messages about Trezor. Not sure whether there are reliable alternatives yet, but I'm sure they'll be developed otherwise.

I think Trezor already is a great device, but the current price of $119 is a bit too high for me. However, if you own many BTC and do pay with BTC offline, I don't think the price of a Trezor is too high then for you.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] Guldencoin — Pay for food, books, drones, botox, toys and more on: August 27, 2014, 12:26:26 PM
Looks like miners are not eager to sell at these low prices. Wink

Positive, great isn't it? Wink.  These prices might attract even more miners to GuldenCoin. Let's hope we won't attract "dump miners" to this coin. I do see some bigger sell offers starting at "443". I guess we won't hit the "500" the following days, but I'm sure we will Wink.
