If one has no issue with KYC then binance is probably the best place to keep your coins. I like binance because security it provides to my coin and fee is reasonable unless you don't go out of binance network. I keep some of my coins in electrum wallet but I remain worry about there security all the time.
There are pros n cons of keeping your coins at centralized exchange like binance. They suspend trading at any time in the name of server maintenance and this is something not in case of decentralizer wallets.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla make 1 billion profits from it Bitcoin holding on: November 06, 2021, 08:39:11 AM
I see Elon musk constantly beating his counterpart to becoming the world richest each time bitcoin bull happen this is because his holdings will generate large profits.  Tesla as a company have invested quite a large amount in bitcoin and that is why it can easily make a 1 billion profits.

We are discussing his 1 billion dollar profit but we are not discussing how much capital they have invested. You are right, they have invested in billions that's why profit is also 1 billion. We need not to impress with this, as getting 1 billion profit on 10 billion investment is same as getting 1 dollar profit on 10 dollars investment in terms of ROI. That's what I think, correct me if I m wrong.
823  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NFT the next BTC in the 5 to 10 years later? when everyone will be trading this on: November 06, 2021, 08:28:02 AM
1. Your NFT chart is wrong, why you use 1 day chart instead of all time chart? Roll Eyes To make people thought NFT price is pumping? lol nope, there's already dump since April 2021 [1]

2. NFT is hype project same as ICO, IEO, IDO, DEFI etc etc, it's strange comparing NFT to BTC and NFT wouldn't become the next BTC, same as other project can't overtake BTC.

3. Online games or E-sports already exist in the past, so they can stand without NFT. Most of people were playing NFT games to earn money especially for third world countries, not to mention how greedy are them want to abuse the system.

[1] https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nft/

This issue is as old as hills. Every now and then we keep hearing that BTC is going to replaced by this coin or that project.  I was just reading this thread, Can Eth flip BTC and why this is good?. Though ETH is well established coin with huge cap and volume, still we can't say it can replace btc. You are right in your second point that NFT till now is just a hype. If its really something worthy, it has to prove it over a period of 4 to 5 years atleast.
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the fastest way to grow wealth in our present world of digital currency? on: November 06, 2021, 08:17:49 AM
Caution: cryptocurrency is not a quick rich scheme

People who thought that they can double their money in the next few months took loans and invested on cryptocurrency but what happened they lost the cryptocurrency value and also their life so never assume that its an investment unless you are ready to lose the capital completely.

No matter how many times we say or write this thing, people won't understand that. Crypto is seen by many people as a scheme to get rich overnight, just like OP is asking. IMO the only way to get rich ( not necessarily quick) is HODL i.e. you take your positions and then wait for target price to be reached. Hodling is ignored and not liked since it takes time.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Eth flip BTC and why this is good? on: November 06, 2021, 08:09:53 AM

ETH already has tough and many competitors, although they have not been able to replace ETH in their current position but in general they are the opponents of ETH in the future and for BTC nothing will be able to interfere with its current position because BTC movements are also often followed by others including ETH in general.

I can say with certainty that if today BTC price falls from 60k to 50k all alt coins including ETH will fall back also. The volatility seen in ETH and other top altcoins is because volatility in BTC. We need to understand that crypto mart is solely dependent on bitcoin. No coin has the capacity nor capability to move on its own. I don't think ETH or any other coin can flip btc, atleast in next 4 to 5 years.
These are just my few satoshis.
826  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to trade properly for newbies on: November 06, 2021, 07:53:58 AM
How to trade properly for newbies

Just don't. If you are new to Bitcoin and you are new to trading, you are going to lose money. There is no doubt. At least learn about the coin before you start trying to make money trading it.

BTW, most day traders lose money. The ones that lose the most are the ones that are lucky at first and think they know what they are doing when they don't.

Can't agree more. Crypto trading is open for everyone doesn't mean it's profitable also for everyone. One mistake which many new traders made is that they jump straight away with huge capital. Since they don't have necessary knowledge and understanding of rypto trading tools they end up cursing the market. The fault is not in crypto market rather in us,  we  have a greed that we wanna get rich overnight.
827  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the most profitable way for me to earn income on my idle Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2021, 07:34:36 AM
Iam currently using Celsius but Iam curious to what is the most profitable way to earn on my Bitcoin. I don’t know much about defi been reading into it. Please don’t harp on me about it not being safe I guess I am a bit of a risk taker at heart thank you

If you have bitcoin sitting idle in your wallet then one way to earn profit is by lending them here on bitcointalk.org. There are many borrowers who are willing to pay good interest. Risk involved in lending can be mitigated by involving an escrow and collateral must be something that has high liquidity. Other then that trading n hodling has there own risk.
828  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a trader needs to be a full time trader to be successful? on: November 05, 2021, 06:48:02 PM
One does not really need to be a full time traders before he will succeed in trading, all that is very important is having time to follow up charts, read constantly about trading, making frequent research on trading, and know of the different strategies to be used in trading.
I know full time traders have all the time to study, learn and read about what they are doing, but for part timers,it's not like that because they have limited time to focus on the trading. But when ever they have their leizure,it is required that one needs to learn more about trading.

IMO crypto trading is a full-time job, you cant do that with a 9 to 5 job. In other words, you cant take crypto trading as a part-time job.  Crypto trading is a mixture of your knowledge, Technical analysis (FA, TA, Charts, etc), and your luck, I insist the former plays the key role. It's also a reality that the majority of traders end up in loss. Day Trading Bitcoin: Why 95% of Traders Lose Money and Fail. So before you jump into it, study all aspects of trading.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: November 05, 2021, 05:40:26 PM
I was with a friend today who was in a hurry to place his bet on some numbers that were sent to him for some football matches that he believes are fixed. I'm a bit confused how fixed matches work.

Are fixed matches real? Do the coach and players of teams were matches have been fixed, do they consent to it? If you were in a team were your next fixture has been fixed, what will be your reaction?

My area of interest is cricket,  so I will talk from that prespective. Yes in cricket, match fixing is real and there are many instances where players were caught red handed. There are not many instance of match fixing in 60s, 70 and 80s. As cricket start growing in terms of money , we start seeing instances of match fixing. First one which I remember was of South Africa Captain Hansie Cronje. On this day in 2000: Hansie Cronje sacked over match-fixing scandal
830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan believes Bitcoin is Overpriced on: November 05, 2021, 05:15:27 PM
They have a conflict of interest to begin with, even if their estimations are in good faith, which I doubt. They're suggesting that groups invest in real estate or hedge funds oppose to crypto which is awfully convenient for them, considering investment consulting groups aren't really needed to invest in crypto to any significant degree - you purchase and hold, that's the extent of investing in Bitcoin.

Defiantly they can't be trusted since their playing area is not crypto but what you mentioned. We saw similar news from Warren Buffet, he is beyond any doubt one of the greatest investor of all time but his playing area is Equity trading that's why he doesn't like crypto. They are the people who said BTC is a scam and must be avoided, they will keep on saying bad about BTC. Its the responsibility of the community not to pay attention to such negative news.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 05, 2021, 11:51:18 AM

Both Namibia and Afghanisthan teams are no match for the NZ team. They will easily win today's match with Namibia and the same is applicable for India too as they are playing against Scotland. I think if India needs to enter the semifinals then they need to win by a big margin in all the matches. That should give them some chance.

Are you sure Namibia and Afghanistan are underdog? You must have missed match b/w Pakistan/ Afghanistan and also todays Namibia bowling. Thanks to Phillips/Neesham partnership NZ manage to score 162 against Namibia otherwise NZ would have scored 130 or 140.

There is nothing to think that we will see an upset in any of the matches,

Cricket is an old funny game, how can you be sure we don't see any upset in coming matches. There are many upsets missed by just few runs n wickets in this WC.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 05, 2021, 07:05:34 AM

India must win today against Scotland. Either way they will win. We have seen the match between Afghanistan and India. Many say the match has been fixed. India needs a win, moreover, the players have returned to form through the match against Afghanistan. If India gets a chance to bat first against Scotland, they will give more than 180 targets. Namibia, on the other hand, had a great performance against Pakistan. They will fight against New Zealand in today's match too. The match will not be easy for New Zealand.

I think it all depends on NZ vs Afghanistan game, if NZ wins then they will qualify for the semis on point basis provided they also win against Namibia.
India is a bit late in getting there wining form, they can easily win there remaining matches against Namibia n Scotland. Even then they lag behind NZ on points.
833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 05, 2021, 06:51:57 AM

Surely newzealand are the favorites to win the game against afganistan, but afganistan team has the capability to beat any team specially in these conditions, I Hope mujeeb gets fit in the game against the newzealand because he along with rashid khand and nabi is a pretty dangerous bowling combination that can trouble any batsman.

Yes Afghanistan has great team beyond any doubt. But when it comes to there performance against India, it really has created doubts. Seeing the rivalry of AFG players with Pakistan (since the are inducted in team by Ashraf Ghani which is no more in power) its very much likely that they want India to play the semis.

Given the NRR calculations, a win with small margin for Afghanistan may not be enough for India to qualify for the knockout stage. The victory margin needs to be somewhere around the 50-60 run level.

Afganistan has qualified directly for the WC, they are no more associate team. They get so close to winning against Pakistan. I am sure they will do best to win against NZ.
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 05, 2021, 06:33:03 AM
Meanwhile there is good news for PCB and cricket fans in Pakistan as Windes are touring Pakistan from 13 Dec to 22 Dec 2021. WI to tour Pakistan in December for three T20Is and ODIs. I don't think this tour will have any impact on big 3 and CNZ, they will continue to boycott touring Pakistan on political and security grounds. WI, SL, Bangladesh and Zim in the past have toured Pakistan.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game do you prefer in gambling? on: November 05, 2021, 06:09:22 AM
I only do sports betting and the only sports I choose for betting is cricket. Actually gambling is illegal in my country, its only because of crypto people like me can participate in gambling. IMO sports betting is less risky then gambling on games that are entirely based on luck like dice rolling.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 03, 2021, 11:57:57 PM

After viewing today's performance from Scotland, I am feeling they could be good in short format in near future because their most players have some experience playing into short format because they are mostly having in Vitality Blast.

In T20 both teams have equal chances of winning unlike Test match where team having finest batsman n bowler wins.
If new zealand score was around 150, I have a feeling that Scotland would have chased easily. It was guptil 93 that's nz rescuer in this game.

Now we don't need miracles into cricket, we need some money which BCCI can spend, and they have to get their required results. After today match now I am giving 60% chances to India for qualifying into semi-final for this cricket world cup because money can buy all things, and they have good relationship with all big boards those are very helpful for them in these critical situations. Let's watch what happen in next few days, and we will be able to have some good cricket or just exchange of money because now cricket is filthy game running into dirty hands after introduction of IPL.

Well Indian Afghanistan match has raised eye brows of many people. They way Afghanistan team played is surprising, there are bright chances of India reaching the semis now. Afghanistan team will try there best to beat NZ.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 03, 2021, 08:11:59 PM

It was not mandatory. In case of India, Virat Kohli asked the BCCI management for permission to knee for BLM, which was granted by the president Sourav Ganguly. It has nothing to do with the ICC directives. During yesterday's match between Namibia and Afghanistan, both the teams refused to knee. Namibian players held up their hands in support, while Afghanistan did the right thing by completely ignoring it. I still don't understand what Asian teams have to do with the BLM movement. Afghanistan and Pakistan are doing the right thing by standing against this drama.

This issue was very much settled but it came to cricket in this WC. Just like sometimes cricket promoting awareness on breast cancer. Don't worry this moment won't pop up in other icc tournaments. Even if it pops up I don't see any harm in kneeling down for BLM.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 03, 2021, 08:01:37 PM

Right now, in a day match in Dubai New Zealand's Kane Williamson got out for a duck against Scotland. Dubai pitch is seeming too hard to bat first. New Zealand managed to score 52 runs in powerplay over for the loss of two wickets. This might be an easy encounter for New Zealand which is the reason I was not able to find a better odds for New Zealand winning at any of my favorite sports books.

What a game played by Scotland. If this is there performance then they must play icc T20 tournaments very often. Guptil 93 was impressive but Scotland batted well and they were very much in the game throughout there batting. Michael Leask was the man who fought well to chase the target of 172. Scotland were just 16 runs short while chasing 172 which is something very impressive.
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 03, 2021, 07:47:02 PM
Excellent win for india today in match against afganistan , Finally they got their first win in this world cup, yes it seems a bit late because 99% chances are there that they still wont qualify for the semi finals. If this intent they have shown in the games before the results would have been different but that has gone, lets see if afganistan can beat new zealand now.

I guess India now might have a chance to play the semis. I mean we are expecting a nail biting game today but Afghanistan doesn't played like they were playing in previous games. Rahul n Sharma batting were outstanding in this match. Nabi n janat are only noticeable in Afghanistan batting. Now if Afghanistan manage to beat NZ by big margin we might see India in semis
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 02, 2021, 06:05:31 PM
Even though Bangladesh knocked out of the super 12 stage, they failed to play any competitive matches.

They have test playing status for almost 20 years but they still are underdogs in most of the tournaments they have played. Compared to Bangladesh, Afghanistan has come up as strong team. They have proved in this WC that they can perform well in days to come.

The match is a win for Pakistan. However watching the match seems more interesting. Namibia have lost its second wicket at 55. Stephen Baard whose innings watchable came to an end with an unwanted runout. I'm expecting something good from Namibia. Myself expect atleast a score of 120runs end of 20 overs.

Good batting by Rizwan and Babar once again. Pakistan managed to score 189 runs. In reply, batting of Namibia was impressive, specially hitting David Wiese is something lovely to see. They participated as associate team but in every game there performance was up to the mark.
