821  Economy / Services / Re: FastBluff.com is piloting a Signature Campaign! [Highest Paying Campaign] on: July 23, 2014, 04:51:06 AM
Hello everyone!

I have spoke to the investors of the site, as well as many outside people and I took it upon myself to end this campaign. I personally hate signature campaigns for this reason exactly. I am not going to be blaming Sed at all, I would fight for money if I thought it was owed to me as well. I still have to side with fastbluff, the reason we need a pm confirmation is for two things. One it gives the user notification and lets us know that they acknowledge that the round is over. It also lets us get a good bearing for the post count when the new round gets started. This was never a plan to get free days, hours or even minutes of advertising. This thread turn into exactly what I didn't want it to be. It only hurts my brand and my investment at the end of the day. It also points to a disorderly web site being ran, I know if I saw this thread I wouldn't use fastbluff.

I think it is best we finish out the week, we end it and we payout. Lets end this on a good note. I will be handling the payment for Thursday.

Just for the record, we never planned on this being a long term thing (more than 1 month, but not longer than 6 months), we are switching to an affiliate program, hopefully people that want to support us and earn money, will turn to it.

Thank you.

There are quite a few in IRC on #monero-dev on Freenode. Ping me with specifics if you don't come right and I'll recommend someone to you.

Thank you, I will stop by but I think I will need someone to do coding for me.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Looking for a good Monero Developer to talk with. on: July 22, 2014, 08:07:59 PM
I just want someone that has free time, and we can text chat on skype about using the client. This could lead into a paying gig if you are that good.

PM me
824  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin.org is looking for sponsorship! on: July 22, 2014, 08:04:26 PM
Bitcoin Foundation running out of money ?
:~(
I don't think the bitcoin foundation controls bitcoin.org, I thought that I read that either coinbase or bitpay controls the domain (I forget which)

Blockchain.info owns bitcoin.com, this is for bitcoin.org, which was owned by sirius but sadly I think has been moved to the foundation's hands.
825  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin.org is looking for sponsorship! on: July 21, 2014, 02:18:20 AM
We aren't interested in working with certain types of services, these include porn sites, gambling sites, large mining pools, anything altcoin related, and suspicious services of low quality.

Yet the foundation is a extremely low quality and is made up of suspicious services... Why the hate against these services? I mean Erik ran a gambling site, and he turned out to be a good person. Bitcoin is for everyone, but yet the domain doesn't support these services, that bitcoin gave new life to some of them.

Does sirius still own this domain? I really hope someone other than the greedy bitcoin foundation has this domain.

This message will probably deleted by mods I can feel it now. Please quote so it doesn't happen.
826  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-07-19] Chain’s iOS API Provides Fingerprint Authorisation for Bitcoin Apps on: July 20, 2014, 06:20:00 PM
Chaos Computer Club breaks Apple TouchID http://www.ccc.de/en/updates/2013/ccc-breaks-apple-touchid

Enough said.

Agree Chain didn't research the security.

Off topic but the sad part of chain, and all blockchain apis, is they don't know anything about bitcoin. They only know about scalability. When I look at this apis, it makes me said that they get funding and actively put users at risk.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the ugly dev from Franko the only one with an opensource ATM for his coin on: July 20, 2014, 05:34:39 AM
I am not going to lie, that pedo stache, ain't really helping. Shave that thing, unless you have the van to go with it!
828  Other / Off-topic / Re: What social network do you use most? on: July 19, 2014, 07:36:51 AM
I use text messages mostly, it is a social network when you think about it.
829  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lightweight blockchain explorer on: July 19, 2014, 07:36:06 AM
Maybe querying Bitcoin Core in RPC mode via PHP can do the trick.

-tx=1 but you can't query by address, only rawtransactions and blocks, so you will mostly likely have to build something on top of it.

I would use a blockchain explorer api at this point.
830  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How can I keep a Hot wallet secured ? on: July 14, 2014, 08:29:16 PM
Keep whatever you can lose in hot wallet. Also take some analytics, I know this is not security related but this can help you figure out what you should leave in the hot wallet. If most users withdraw $25 at most, then you know you will be fine to leave $100.

Also it is going to be hard to secure the server the server people have access to root or physical access. Not much you can do. Just make sure you have a script that sends anything more than your maximum hot wallet amount to an offline or completely under your control address.
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Internet service providers block bitcoin network? on: July 14, 2014, 05:18:16 AM
ISP can't really block bitcoin. This would be like trying to block a little, tiny crack that is only giving off a drop of water in the hover dam.

Worst case we could implement an encryption system similar to bittorrent clients, this would help evade packet snooping.
832  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRCDice.eu - Bitcoin/Dogecoin Dice - Rain Bot - Leaderboards - INVEST on: July 13, 2014, 07:21:34 AM
Especially when a page like prcdice is only since a few days you should rather report a "bug" than to abuse it.

You know what I did when I discovered the bug in PRCDice? I reported it to Dean. He was unaware of it at the time. He had suspended betting to "investigate", found that everything was OK, and resumed betting. I sent him a PM saying that I had found the flaw and that he should suspend betting as soon as possible. Then I explained the flaw to him.

I'm not sure if he said thanks or not, but I certainly didn't get any bug bounty for telling him about the flaw. I've not seen him take responsibility for the flaw either.

That doesn't really encourage me to report the next flaw I find.

I probably will, of course, because that's how I roll (get it?), but I can totally understand people trying to exploit rigged games when they find them, especially if the site is known not to reward responsible disclosure.

When nakowa lost 7,000 BTC back to the house on just-dice.com, the owner dooglus changed max profit from 1% down to 0.25%,

If you don't agree with his methods, go back to the gambling websites that you own or the ones that pay you.

Nakowa never lost 7000 BTC on Just-Dice. I did reduce the maximum profit per bet on Just-Dice when made it obvious that it was too high. I waited for him to stop playing before doing so.

I think it's perfectly OK to discuss how PRCDice is managed on the PRCDice thread, whether we agree with Dean's management of it or not. This whole "shut up" and "go away" sentiment is fucked up. Forum threads aren't only for saying how great a site is. OK, get it that Dean has said he is unwilling to listen anyone opposing his position. That doesn't mean people should posting their thoughts if they disagree with his.

And you can ask Doog to verify but I hounded his ass here (deleted most of my posts) and the chat room for doing that to in middle of Nakowas deposits

I don't have a copy of what you said, but to paraphrase I think you said something like "this is disgusting; I am never visiting JD ever again".

ie. you really weren't very pleased about my appalling treatment of poor nakowa. Smiley

I think you got over it though.

Doesn't matter what the amount was, 20BTC or 0.002BTC, scammers and cheats will not be cashed out funds they try to steal from investors or other players.

You keep attacking sjess, but in reality he didn't "scam" or "cheat'. He played your game according to the rules. If anyone was scamming, it was you, advertising untrue chances of winning, and refusing to pay out winning bets.

A guy knowingly abused the system. He got back his principal, Dean didn't pay out the exploit, and returned the money to investors. 1 person lost out of dishonest money vs many investors losing.

Lots of people were "abusing the system". sjess made it obvious by playing at exactly the sweet spot for hours. It was sjess' play that brought my attention to the flaw in the first place. I wonder how long people would have been able to slowly milk the site for profit had sjess not played the way he did.

I would have paid out Sjess, and that is what many people from the community including Dooglus who ran the top dice site are saying.

I don't think that's what I'm saying. I don't know what i would have done in this situation. Luckily I never found myself in this situation because I test my code before putting it live.

Also you are calling someone a kid, when you are really acting like a kid, he provided his side, with proof and you are just name calling.

Meh. Someone called me a "kid" in this thread a couple days ago. I think there's an above average level of cluelessness around here.a

I learned something today, the gambling market, is purely looking to be profit only. They don't want to better themselves, and it has bred this insane loyalty. I feel like this borderline culty.
833  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRCDice.eu - Bitcoin/Dogecoin Dice - Rain Bot - Leaderboards - INVEST on: July 13, 2014, 02:57:30 AM

They dont get this point. Fastbluff isn't a professional admin basing from his posts his like a child

Can you stop trolling and spreading FUD. I will be honest, the people that are behind FastBluff, that have hired me, are bitcoin community members that have done more than you will ever do. We have funding for FastBluff in the amount of $50,000 in Bitcoin so this is obviously more professional than PRCDice, how much have they raised from investors?

I would have paid out Sjess, and that is what many people from the community including Dooglus who ran the top dice site are saying. So are you that dumb, that you think otherwise. To be honest I wasn't going to answer any more cause the kool aid drinkers are here, but you are just a troll.

*Puts on the troll spray*

1) show ur proof first of $50,000
2) FUD- yeah like ur claiming Dean admitted that he changed the TOS without providing hard proof and the link that you provide me was just a side note lol
3) I can pretty say you're a kid

1) I am the lead investor of FastBluff we have raised $50K in bitcoin for the site.
2) No comment from investors.
3) He is no kid, and if he is a kid, then he is an old kid, he is 26yr and has been a community management for some of the biggest web companies. I am not going to post his resume, but he was one of the reasons that the funding is $50K and not $10-15K.

Also you are calling someone a kid, when you are really acting like a kid, he provided his side, with proof and you are just name calling.

It is so sad when I get a text to have to come defend my investments from stupid people like you, now stop spreading FUD and falses, and go back to trading baseball cards and not bitcoins I bet you don't even have any bitcoins.
834  Other / Politics & Society / Re: So.. Chase shutdown my College Checking account on: July 12, 2014, 05:39:40 AM
Use smaller banks, I use People's United Bank, the treat me like royalty cause I keep a good amount of money there and they never ask questions. Mostly because a lot of people have very small amounts ($1K-$5K) and they value that money.

His statement was not just about incest, but also included paedophile behaviour:

A legit pedo or men attracted to 16yo's... because that shit ain't pedo.  People attracted to kids is messed up.. people attracted to teens is not.. until 100 years ago the lords of this planet would marry 14-16yo's... we've just recently decided this is wrong.
It's always been super messed up to go after a 7yo.. that's some messed up shit....

Caveman just raped females, so that should be legal too.

Needs some polishing, but nice.
By polishing you mean policy or typography ?
Thank you bro Smiley

You will probably want to start attracting more high quality content to your site.

They will pay, I know the people behind this site, and if they don't pay you, come to me and I will pay out any debt for them Smiley

Anymore questions about payments? I think not....

839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sponsor an athlete with your Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2014, 04:07:36 AM
Pro-athletes, no they are all overpaid. Non-pro-atheletes maybe depends on them and the sport.
840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Addresses Need to Go on: July 09, 2014, 04:04:01 PM
Bitcoin addresses need to go, but the wallets should be taking a more active role in doing this, not services. Bitcoin addresses are not like DNS, but more like emails, being sent to other people. Wallets should have a protocol to do a handshake send the bitcoin address and then display to the user "Do you want to send Bitpay 0.5 BTC for a lambo?" Yes or no.
