821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End Goal or Keep HODLing? on: March 24, 2024, 04:22:56 AM
I sell when I want to because at this point I am already in great profit. But it won't stop me from holding because I have my own wallet designated for long term holding.

So, if you thinking that we are going to hold it until we die, it is your choice.

Money is there to be spent and enjoyed and if you dont want to do those, we are free to do what we wanna do.

There are some that has their end game and exit plan but as you can see, most of us here does have their owm retirement plans thru btc.
822  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best altcoin now? on: March 23, 2024, 10:34:55 PM
For the platforms, they'll tell you to go into Binance or any other known centralized exchanges. There are some good dexes out there but the majority of it if you're trading in the ethereum network, you'll feel the pain about the fees and that's why many chooses to just go in the cex for them to save fees.

As for the altcoins, just check on the coinmarketcap and check some of them for you to see which you think has the good basis for volume, market cap, 24 hr volume, charts, etc.

It takes time though.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: March 23, 2024, 01:30:06 PM
Whatever I will be suggesting to your friend for sure he won't listen. He didn't even listened to you when you've explained that he's addicted.

That's how it is going to be with those gamblers that are seriously addicted already. No suggestion will be good to them because what they are listening with is only themselves.

They can't admit that they're heavy gamblers and they're losing a lot and have been doing crazy things just to gamble.

No way, do you expect an addict to quit fronting on his addictive behavior, he'll definitely lie and bottle it up. The healing work is on others to help the addict, as he, indeed needs it. Don't mind his strange action, it looks like he doesn't want to help hands. Neglecting them won't be the right choice, working on ways to help change the addict is better than watching him misbehave. While they listen to themselves alone, sooner they'll want to talk to somebody. Deep down, they'll try to save themselves from the attitude, since they personally got into addiction, their self-consciousness will make them believe it's possible to come out with nobody's help. I think that's the main purpose behind why they avoid helpers.

Due to their psychology being affected, they wouldn't make it out alone. That's why sometimes a gambler will decide to open up and reach out for help. Which remains the best time to help an addict. When he's in need of it because he wants it and is tired of the lifestyle. In your context is fine to give them a space. But, to some extent, it's risky, as their attitude can get worse when left unattended. Staying in touch with the gambler helps revive his brain towards changing. Addiction isn't interesting for anyone, seeing his acquittances talk to him, will make him think of being like his unaddicted friends. Sooner, he'd confide with them and seek for help. When neglected he may not try talking to anyone. Thereby stressing his brain, on saving himself.
I am not sure what are you talking about. I've said what I have to say and there's no suggestion needed to be given to his friend when that guy don't even listen to his friend.

I didn't even say that I am expecting that he'll quit and that's why I am quite confused on what you're saying. But I agree that he'll try to save himself with what he's up with.

Sometimes you just have to be harsh and try to ignore that have ignored your thoughts that might help them.
824  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Time to Buy More BTC? on: March 23, 2024, 11:59:48 AM
You said it right. If there are dips or corrections that will happen, it's a normal action for Bitcoin to recover. And how many times did we saw that happen? many times.

That's why if you're going to look at those historical charts, you'll see that Bitcoin has recovered no matter what happens and how deep the dip is.

So, if you're a real bitcoin investor. You'll look literally on the long term and not with these discouraging drops for the many.
825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When is the best time to trade a Bitcoin on: March 23, 2024, 10:59:43 AM
Watch your pockets carefully too. You have to know when your best time to buy is when you've got your money going to the market again.

Usually you don't have to wait for a long time in trading, rather you can make a trading decision after a few hours of market change.
Yeah, trading decisions varies and it can be at this time or later or by tomorrow. As long as you see the changes or the market moves according to your trading plan, then trade or do what you have to do.
826  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite currency after Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2024, 09:46:50 AM
Hi community,

Let's share some ideas and investment.
Since the digital currency market is large and is developing gradually and noticeably every day, the market attracts investors in all known and unknown currencies.
As an investor in crypto, what digital currencies do you rely on and have confidence in in the future?
I guess USD, USDT and other stable coins. It is not that I am relying on them but my confidence with them is that they're liquid and has got a lot of volume.

That makes sense for me if I am to choose in which currency digital or not I am going to choosing with using for the medium of my transfer or storing of my wealth as a gateway from my crypto profits.

Maybe next if China moves all along, CNY then.
827  Economy / Economics / Re: What class of an investor are you? on: March 22, 2024, 11:48:59 PM
I might be a research type of investor now because I have gone through Ponzi schemes and other types of investors because I have to learn from the past so as not to experience losses
IMO, most of us here have became a research type investor. We also say DYOR and that's why researching before investing has been a must. I've also became a victim of ponzi but that's long time ago and I can't remember if it was before I've known crypto.

do deeper research on what we want to buy and stay away from investments that we don't know what they are. we buy
And don't invest in the schemes that you don't even know. They're making it like that the scam schemes and platforms sound good but upon researching, you'll figure out that they're bunch of scams.
828  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto remaining anonymous is good for Bitcoin! on: March 22, 2024, 10:37:59 PM
In conclusion, it's highly plausible that Satoshi Nakamoto would have faced legal repercussions had his identity been exposed. However, this remains a topic open to discussion and differing viewpoints.
It will remain as the greatest unsolved mysteries that this world has ever had. Even the FBI or secret service or call all of those agencies of the US government that are good in tracking and any other countries too.

He was just too perfect when he'd proven that it's not just Bitcoin that's anonymous but also him. It's best for him if ever he's still alive somewhere to remain where he is and live a peaceful and quiet life.

It will create a storm if ever he conceals and proves his identity not just to the entire crypto market but also in the entire world.
829  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible to use unused BTC adressess from dynamic wallet as a new? on: March 22, 2024, 09:41:59 PM
How to avoid messing up with old/new addresses in any wallet that generates them each login?
To have no hassle at all, use another wallet that will only give you one address if the changing of address every time you log in or access that wallets seems to be unfavorable to you.

That's how you shouldn't be bothering with it so, start finding those wallets that will only give you one designated wallet for your private key. But you can always use the old addresses that has been generated if you want to.
830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If everyone is holding their bitcoin, will there be a balance? on: March 22, 2024, 08:30:50 PM
It's impossible that's no one wanting to sell. What if we reach to the point of Bitcoin is around $1M and that's the goal of most, there will be more Bitcoins again as we've got different times and price ranges to sell.

I highly doubt that's no one going to sell by that time. I've got the same thought of it before but in each market, there will always be buyers and sellers so it's balance.

While we see the balance of it, we're also seeing that institutions are getting all of those sold Bitcoins as they accumulate like MSTR has got now the 1% supply of BTC.

I am a small investor. I have some money to invest. How can I invest this money?
Find out if there's a local exchange that's found in your country. Because if we tell you how but then there's none that can be found in your country which is likely the signal that your country doesn't support crypto or probably illegal there then we can't help you.

Otherwise if you are persistent then you can do some P2P trade in the forum and you'll gotta pay it on any payment method that's available to you with the help of any trusted forum escrow.
833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trades be closed only when the market is bullish? on: March 22, 2024, 05:20:25 PM
A tendency arises among us. When the value of Bitcoin increases a lot, we start trading more. Which puts our trade management in jeopardy, during which most of the time people face loss.

What is your experience in this field?
Close your trades or orders when you're done and in profit or you're to cut loss. Whatever is the reason for you to close them, make sure that it benefits you.

Even during a cut loss, I'd say that it's still a benefit for someone who's trying not to lose that much.

So, you close those trades when you're finally done with them and you want to take a rest first from the market.

Congratulations to fellow bettors who YOLO to Aurora team since they are bring down to Lower bracket earlier by Geek Fam on Dreamleague S23 SEA Closed Qualifier. I still believe that they are still the Strongest team on SEA as they are the previous Talon. Despite many top player on PH that already play on PH like Abed they still can’t beat the Talon Line-up.

They manage to complete a lower bracket impossible run after sweeping all the team that they faced including the grand finals and a rematch against GeekFam.  What a solid profit!
Individual skills are still different from being in a good team that's full of chemistry and synchronized with consistent communication.

Aurora is just too strong and good thing that they didn't choked on the finals because that's one of their syndromes in the big tournaments. Well, just good luck on them in the main event of this DreamLeague Season 23.

The next regions will also have their representative.
835  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the bad habit that you do daily with full awareness ? on: March 22, 2024, 04:15:20 PM
Daily?

I am not sure with this if this is a bad habit but every time I lie on the bed, it's not going to take more than 5-10 minutes until I get to sleep. Maybe this isn't a bad habit, right?

Or when I do check my phones and try to browse while being in the bed and that's like part of my bed rest routine and that's why my eyes gets tired quickly.
836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Success is a meaningless word without failure. on: March 21, 2024, 11:46:34 PM
Lastly, please my fellow beginners let's not be discouraged by the number of losses or failures we experience while trading because failure begets success, also we should focus more on hodling coins even when we trade because we cannot predict the price fluctuations of coins in the future.
That failure will turn into success if you always remember that winners never quit. You have to familiarize yourself in the market and you'll have to do what it takes to take that momentum that's for you.

It's not always good as you may get but think of it that you have started unlike the others, fear is what is on their minds so that they will just get stuck to wherever they are.

I think trading is as easy as it is difficult. Trading is easy if you understand it and if you don't understand it is much more difficult.
That's confusing.
837  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Democracy or Oligarchy? on: March 21, 2024, 10:45:12 PM
In fact I'm always restless whenever there is elections in my country. The final results are different from what the electorate decided at the various polling units. Elections are features of democracy which enhance representative government in the modern society.
But recent developments have shown how elections litigations have made the elections Tribunals and Superior Courts of Records to determine the elections results and the Winner of the contestations. The trial Judges are less than five by law.
Therefore, on the basis of this eventuality, elections outcomes have now become a contest between the electorate and the judges. So, is it still democracy or Oligarchy in the first place?
I would really want the public in this forum to provide a final digest of this serious matter. Thanks.
I wonder how it would go with the electoral process when there's a clear winner unless the losing party or candidate wants to contest and test the system and that's how it is going with the judges.

Each country has different government policies and rules about election. But if there's another board that has to step in, like on what you've said about the judges, I think it's only they'd come to judge and seek their counsel when there's a possible malfunction and there's a failure of elections.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake and Bruno Mars An Example of How Gambling Addiction Can Affect Anyone on: March 21, 2024, 09:53:11 PM
There's a statement that's been released by the MGM that he's not in debt of $50M. Well, I guess that should end all of our speculations about him being addicted and let that just end the thing from the issue.

--> https://ew.com/bruno-mars-doesnt-owe-50-million-gambling-debts-mgm-says-8611395
The musician has a partnership with MGM and I guess they allow him to play on the casinos as a "fun time" reward of performing there and as part of the payment.

Possible that the initial news gave a negative hit to the musicians rep and so their spokesperson had to come up with this damage control article.

In all, these people are gamblers and they can afford to lose it. Dont let that influence your own lifestyle, its not all glitz and glam unless you are the owner of the casino.
There have been some reports about his other addictions and I think that added to the flame that's caused by whoever published that first article about him owing MGM with $50M.

But I get now the idea on why there's such a certain place that he's got on this news. Well, at the end of the day, I agree that they can afford to lose it but still, that's a lot of money to gamble on our perspective.

Anyway, the issue was even already okay just after a few days and a statement from MGM itself.
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How possible is it to win lottery 14 times using mathematics calculations on: March 21, 2024, 09:21:14 PM
I have read something like this and maybe statistically, that's really possible when that mathematician has got the idea on how algorithm and numbers really work for that kind of betting he's won it.

But this rarely happens and if someone wins like for so many times in the lottery, they can justify and reason out that they've been counting it countless times with the algorithm using math because they're mathematicians which is kind of a tricky reasoning.

And it's up to the people who listens to that person if they'll believe or not.

I actually can't help but believe in calculations like that for lottery winnings. but if he wins 14 times in a row, yes that is an ability. and perhaps the victory will continue.
but if the situation continues like that, then the bankruptcy of the lottery provider will soon come when there are people who will always win the tickets.
This rarely happens and is beyond belief for all of us. but it's not impossible to do. I still have disbelief, but I seem to be forced to believe.
It really is rare but like what Vegas does to those great gamblers that bags millions everyday from them, they might just ban these winners and won't allow them to bet again.

That's the best resort for them so that they can give chance to the others. But what these mathematicians can do is just have someone to bet for them, certainly like not blood related but a person whom they can trust with the split if ever they win again.
