821  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Is The Future Of Money. on: February 20, 2024, 08:43:15 PM
This will have a financial impact on the world in the future.
We've seen how the Bitcoin spot etf has been into the financial institutions and the impact that it has made. We know that it's the future but thinking of it as a money, maybe more of with asset and investment.

Well, anyway, any of those is going to make it worthwhile and what should people think of is on how you're going to hold it no matter what the situation of the market.

Simply, bitcoin is the future and everyone agrees.
822  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Technical Analysis Really Work? on: February 20, 2024, 01:28:57 PM
It works but not at all times.

Just like what everyone is saying, it may work for many times but there will be times that you can't just see that it works. And as you've said about psychological analysis.

Honestly, any type of analysis that works for you as you trade, you just have to keep on working with it for you to become a profitable trader.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: February 19, 2024, 11:49:20 PM
People can never enjoy financial benefits from gambling.
Actually, you can.

When you have won your bets and it's your lucky day, don't you want to enjoy that temporarily? I think that's the term there, you can enjoy but it is temporary pleasure and benefit.

But in the long run, you have to realize that it is not the stability that you want to have and we all know about that in gambling. The financial benefit is there but it is limited. However, fun is unlimited depending on how you look good and bad endings.
824  Other / Off-topic / Re: what are your investments? on: February 19, 2024, 11:18:27 PM
I have invested in two places.  One is that I have a small offline business there.  Another is that I have invested in Bitcoin.
Keep your investments in Bitcoin and keep on running your small offline business. This is what people should get into when they want to invest when they have other source of income.

They don't just invest into Bitcoin and rely on it wholly for the rest of their lives as if they're like real life day traders and that's hard to maintain. As you invest, take it literally to just be an investor and accumulate Bitcoin as much as you can.

Therefore, when the market fluctuates upwards, you'll take the money or profits and when it's the opposite, it won't affect your other source.
825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can we understand market going to be Bear? on: February 19, 2024, 09:05:24 PM
If the bear you're talking is about the market correction or sudden dump then that's it. When we fall into the bear market, usually it is following the bull run.

So, you get the patter of its cycle that whenever we're done with the bull run, it is now entering to the bear market. And despite that the market is highly volatile, we still invest right? And that's the best time to start buying when we're on that phase.
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game will you choose for one shot big bet? on: February 19, 2024, 07:55:47 PM
Slots, plinko, roulettes and lottery are the games that are coming to my mind. But if I have to choose one, I'd avoid most of them I guess.

I think if I want to make that last remaining money of mine to last long and with the chance maybe one of these four, I'd choose plinko.

If that time I have more patience then that I'll do it slowly. And choose wherever you good at, I am seeing people saying card games, sportsbetting, etc.
827  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Electrum (official|) copied address doesnt appear on: February 19, 2024, 07:17:43 PM
added that to Kraken to download the btc.
I understand that you have used the wrong term on this one but you don't download BTC but withdrew it on that exchange.

where has my btc gone, where has that address gone? is all lost? sorry my first transaction!
As what everyone has thought that you've been a victim of a clipboard virus. If you can post the address where your BTC has gone and sent and it's not yet used by anybody neither by you then that means that you've been a victim of it.

Another thing is that, did you ever wrote your seeds somewhere over the internet?

It's also possible that Kraken might be experiencing a bit of a technical malfunctions, which may be delaying your transaction. Its also possible that something else is wrong but ill advice you go with these options first and see how it goes.
Best of luck.
While this is a possibility but he's told that it's an address that didn't appeared on his electrum wallet for receiving.
828  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would u get 1 BTC or 52k CASH ? on: February 19, 2024, 06:25:10 PM
If you had an option to choose 1 BTC or 52k$ Cash
What would be your choice ?
If I need the money now, I'll take that cash. But for some obvious reasons, this is the right time to get that 1 BTC since I don't need anymore.

But whatever I'll choose I will be happy to accept any of them if there are giveaways like this. So, those that don't have Bitcoin yet might choose the whole btc or will cut the $52k cash into half for Bitcoin while keeping the remaining of the cash.

Well, it truly depends what you wanna do with it now.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pay off DEBT by do Gambling? think again before you loss more on: February 18, 2024, 11:30:21 PM
Win big unexpectedly then pay off your debts.

But if that's not happening, don't be too hopeful that you'll get to fully pay your debt by gambling. It's a ridiculous decision if you're going to continue that.

Pay with your money, your salary or any income from your cash flow and gamble only with the spare you own not with something that's meaningful to you.

I'm not saying that you can't win because gambling always provides the opportunity to win in any amount to every gambler but the problem is that it's not easy to always be able to get good luck to succeed in getting a large amount of winnings, And another thing that is feared when you gamble with the intention of paying off debt is when it turns out that in the end the final session does not match what you want then it is very vulnerable for gamblers to end up with emotions, I mean it is difficult to ignore emotions when you put your hopes on winning, and what usually happens is that you actually fall because you cannot control the emotions in yourself.

Therefore I think it is better to, "pay off your debts first" and never assume that gambling can pay off your debts because most of the facts that happen are that you will even get more in debt because of treating gambling in the wrong way, because after all in gambling there is always no certainty that can guarantee you to win at the end of the session and what if it turns out that you lose more? therefore avoid silly ideas like this.
I agree and that's what I have said in the latter that if you've got your own money or from your salary or any means that it is yours.

Much better to choose the safest way to pay your debt through that than choosing to gamble and then you might have another problem on top of that.
830  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any recommended Crypto Airdrops in 2024? on: February 18, 2024, 10:40:58 PM
I don't recommend any of them but you have to use your own time doing it and we've got a section on the forum that has these airdrops if you ever are interested on them.

It's on the Bounties --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

There are bounties and airdrops there so it's kind of a mixed up section if you want to check each of them.
831  Other / Off-topic / Re: What series you watching recently on: February 18, 2024, 09:21:29 PM
I'm starting to watch Sweet Home now and indeed this is a good netflix series ,
I think I've watched this, I won't spoil you but I enjoyed this series.

Something like this is what I am currently searching for when I'm done with one. Maybe you have watched something similar and can recommend some that I haven't watched yet?
Yeah was just starting mate and indeed that this is really an interesting series as much how I feel watching others like those other korean series .

the last series I finished are " The 100" and also "The Last Kingdom" in which I really watched couple of times before finally living and ending my watch.
I haven't watched those that you've mentioned but when I've got a lot of time to binge watch then I might check them out. Because I only watch when the story is interesting at the beginning and isn't boring at all.

That hooks me up with that kind of series or movie.

So how's the sweet home. Did you finished it already?

836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: While placing bet what comes your mind on: February 12, 2024, 08:59:29 PM
Goodness, I haven't.

I haven't come to that point of thinking to borrow money just to go gamble. I may say that I am fortunate with my feelings and control but I wouldn't go deep pockets to gamble and go to that point of asking a loan to gamble.

It's true that many gamblers come to that point of their lives when they're too emotional and can't get over with their losses. That is a hard feeling to resist and many go into deeper feeling and losing themselves not just in gambling.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: February 12, 2024, 07:11:45 PM
I'm only sticking with the Team Spirit series and skipping the Team Liquid series because LGD looked worse, and the other series is somewhat off, with XG being overvalued mainly because of their better group stage results.

Both Chinese teams, XG and LGD are already out of the tournament.

I've watched the game of Team Spirit and LGD and it's a very easy game for Team Spirit. It's like TS is on a steroids and both maps are too easy for them.

Team Liquid also won 2-0 against XG. There's still one hope for the China region and that's with Azure Ray and their match against Team Falcons will happen tomorrow.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: February 09, 2024, 09:38:09 PM
I don't understand what's the need for the tiebreaker, I just don't get that 1v1 tiebreaker when all of them that participated there were already qualified to the playoffs.

All of them are in upperbracket and whoever is going to lose to their matches will be sent there. So, there's really no connection for the tiebreaker and the placing of theirs on the upper bracket.

Btw, I am talking about the BetBoom Dacha in Duba for DOTA 2.
839  Other / Off-topic / Re: Achieving One's Potential Through BTC on: February 07, 2024, 11:34:58 PM
What does achieving one's potential look like to you?
A person that knows his worth and understands what he's got basically for his skill. And having that skill to work hard and save money for investing, like in BTC is a great opportunity that one can miss.

While many of us have invested a lot in BTC, even if we tell them that this is the greatest investment of all time and this is going to change our lives.

Many will just ignore us. So, that one potential that we've got is likely going to be messed up and put into waste because of ignorance.
840  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: February 06, 2024, 11:52:22 PM
In this thread we are on the fact that holding Bitcoin profits more than any other practice you can engage in with bitcoin, be it trading or short term investment.
As someone who has been holding for so long, I can attest to this. I've trade and tried to relied on it but it didn't do any good for me. It's stressful and needs more time to focus on.

While for holding, it's just there and no need to do such things but to accumulate and have more through DCA. Proven and tested and very effective.

But for those that are good in trading and they're making a living out of it, I see people that do that and I guess it's just really for them but for me, it's not but it won't stop me to do trades.
