841  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: richy.casino delayed withdrawal on: November 30, 2023, 11:42:59 PM
I see that the company mentioned "New Wave Infotech Limited" is really licensed on PAGCOR but i'm not so sure of the URL used if its registered or not. I also asked their support if the URL is registered to their database as one of the registered url under that company.

So, how often you message/follow up them regarding this matter? Have you PM their representative on this forum? It seems you posted on their ann but without response from their team. So i suggest to pm them.
842  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Nakakabahalang balita mga kabayan. on: November 30, 2023, 04:09:36 PM
hindi ako nababahala dyan, saka isa pa Rappler yung source medyo doubtful p ako dyan. Dahil madami pa ang pwedeng mangyari at magbago sa loob ng 3 months kung totoo man talaga na pursigido ang SEC.
Check other sources too, kase hindi lang sa rappler ang news na yan, it's all over local new sources, at sa SEC mismo galing.

And yes, if ever nga mag comply ang binance within 3 months with their new CEO and their team here, then rest assured walang magiging problema. Kase binance lang naman ang may pinaka maraming option to trade either spot, future, p2p, etc. at good rates din given na largest exchange sila based sa volume kaya laking kawalan sa mga pinoy pag ma restrict ang pag gamit ng binance.
843  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam or not ? Transer funds Require Top up on: November 30, 2023, 03:04:58 PM
As OP said
Quote
this has been together with a person i met online,

It seems some strange guy/scammer who contacts randomly (basically in telegram) to make people fool has introduced him to this site. Smiley And the common offers are expected to be some credit for making trade. If you win and try to withdraw make another big deposit. Same as we saw on the Routlete site back days.
This happens when you link your accounts or posting them on other social media handles, sharing your most of online activities on socmed. With my years here in cypto, i never had been messaged in my main fb, twitter accounts, or even on telegram. If there is i know that those were obvious scams offering shitty investments, asking for help like stuck funds on an exchange, etc. Or the most absurd thing is from an account with a pretty profile pic asking these kind of schemes.

Good thing OP asked first or there's another day for an easy money to scammers.
844  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The fate of mixers. on: November 29, 2023, 11:20:10 PM
In my opinion, in the future we will see mixers that will refuse to mix coins from hacks or any other criminals activity.
It could be, but how fast they can identify a tainted vs untainted coins before they processed it?
Hack transactions can be traced, hackers don't transfer the hacked coins immediately to another addresses. That's why exchanges works together to block those address used to received from hack exchanges.
If mixers work this way just like what i have mentioned before on the same discussion when x mixer was seized. Then we will see little to no mixers getting shut.
845  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is purchase of amazon gift cards legal and legit? on: November 29, 2023, 10:34:48 PM
Yes, but amazon encourage its users to only buy from authorized dealers because obviously you will end up getting scammed. Although there are "some" unauthorized sellers who sells cheaper that's why they get the most sales instead of those authorized one.
846  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Experiences with A-Ads (advertising service) or Adshares? Alternatives? on: November 29, 2023, 11:58:46 AM
My little experience (since i usually block ads) shows ads shown by A-Ads is more annoying or less interesting than Google Adsense or other major service.
Yes, all those ads or ad network that does not personalized are more annoying and all are random. The good thing is they don't track your activity online and good for privacy.

I once use A-ads before, as far as i remember that time they don't pay per impressions or CPM only for per click and it feels like it's not worth it.
Not until binance prioritize na gumawa ng hakbang for their business registration/regulation here. Good thing eh kucoin user ako kaya okay lang.

848  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PH SEC Issues Advisory Against Binance for Unauthorized Operations on: November 28, 2023, 11:40:58 AM
Here's an existing topic/thread posted minutes before me.

Locking the thread now...
849  Local / Pamilihan / PH SEC Issues Advisory Against Binance for Unauthorized Operations on: November 28, 2023, 11:20:36 AM
"This move comes just after the SEC recently said it will start naming unlicensed exchanges in its advisories going forward, as well as working with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to block access to the exchanges’ websites."

"The SEC warned that those acting as salesmen, brokers, dealers, agents, or promoters for Binance within the Philippines could face criminal liability under Section 28 of the SRC. The penalties include a fine of up to five million pesos or imprisonment of up to twenty-one years, or both."

Source: https://bitpinas.com/regulation/ph-sec-binance-advisory/

After the recent international news regarding sa binance, now, dito naman satin.

Also, may penalties pa na pwedeng ipataw sa mga promoters nito based sa Section 28 of the SRC.
850  Economy / Services / Re: Best Paid Ads for Cryptocurrency on: November 27, 2023, 11:08:51 PM
It is not crypto related, and I'm noticing that all the alternatives are just for crypto related contents blogs. I'm afraid I have no choice to stay with adsense
That's it, if your website's content is not crypto-related or say 40-50% of its content is not in crypto, you won't be accepted on these ad network especially in coinzilla. The site i managed is both run in adsense and cointraffic, but since most users uses ad blockers or browsers have built-in blockers, profit is not that good, especially in cointraffic. The number of site visits and number of displayed ads shows are not comparable in any sense.
851  Economy / Services / Re: Best Paid Ads for Cryptocurrency on: November 27, 2023, 08:21:14 PM
Cointraffic and coinzilla are the most used crypto ad network by publishers or site owners running ads on their sites. Although this two have strict rules when accepting sites on their list, your site should have enough traffic well at least 30,000-50,000 visits per month, i'm not sure the numbers but higher is much better especially on coinzilla. Cointraffic minimum withdrawals is €25 for bitcoin, and €200 or 300 for bank transfer/wire, i just not so sure on coinzilla since the site i managed never got accepted there unlike cointraffic.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin transaction time reduce in future? on: November 27, 2023, 02:15:15 PM
Lightning is made for that purpose, and every wallet or exchange should implement this features, or just users use wallets with lightning.

Well, although i have in mind that bitcoin won't scale in "instant payment globally" on some offline physical stores or even online stores because of this 10 minutes confirmation time even though there is lightning since lightning has still limitations, say in amounts, centralization concerns too.
853  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BC.Game 100% SCAM----> RESOLVED on: November 27, 2023, 08:02:11 AM
Sorry for the late update. I was hoping to give update when both transactions have been confirmed on blockchain, but one is still pending.
I have withdrawn 0.08 BTC (confirmed) and 0.18 BTC (Unconfirmed on blockchain after 9 hours) from BC.GAME
Pending any issues with the unconfirmed transaction, I would like to mark this complaint as resolved.
I have updated Casino Guru as well.

That's a relief then, that's something rare to happen when a user got what they owe in a casino since more and more casino have the same patterns on doing their business.
It's good to see that there is still a solution happened on a case like this, unless there's no option for a solution but to refund the cheater/abuser or just confiscate/locked their balance at all.
854  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ⚠️ Freewallet: the scam project that threatens thousands of customers on: November 26, 2023, 11:37:46 PM
i had common story with almost same issues. but the problem was that i didn't even see incoming transaction in my wallet.
I suggest to create your own thread on this board and include everything you have in your side and theirs too.
If you have contacted their support include the chat/message logs there too, if what solution they are currently making (if there is) to solve your problem.
855  Other / Meta / Re: DT1 and DT2 Explained - Gods of Bitcointalk on: November 26, 2023, 11:04:52 PM
I'll consider this story if this was done before, before theymos changes the DT/trust system. Where everything is in control in every judgement for positive or negative tag, if a demigod was judged with negative by a god, matic he will no longer in the list next update. The same thing of gods gave you positive judgement, you will be enlisted from deity soon become a god.

But today it will be different cause anyone can be deity and gods just depend on their trustlist.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was This Client Kidnapped for Their Coins? on: November 26, 2023, 10:50:56 PM
Crazy story. I question if there’s really someone out there that would put a $2,500 deposit down with a stranger they met on telegram for a writing project,
Yes, i heard same story in services section, i dont know if the telegram user who he deal with enable to get the service they paid for, just like OP. But it's the same, the op got offers, paid 50% in thousand of $$$ then never got an update after.
About the assumption of being kidnapped, i dont think its the case and we should not speculate such kind of things.

For the sake of curiosity and view a timeline, is there any way of finding out the specific dates/times when each of those 115 donations and 38 VIP donations were made?
It's interesting and I'm curious too, maybe there are old users who still remember it Huh
I found nothing about theymos or admins or the donators itself announcement of who are the new donators or when they become donators.
Or if there are archives of every changes made on donators page, then it will be a huge help.

Edit: here are the archive wince 2011, there are really changes almost every year/month but sadly there's no specific date of when they joined the donators club

858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to qualify for and claim a FORK. on: November 25, 2023, 04:49:44 PM
OP's definition of fork is too technical like it's not even understandable. Simply forks in crypto are more like changes, upgrades in the network rules based on consensus.

Fyi, don't get confused by hard forks and soft fork. Hard forks are those with split that a new coin is created like BCH and many other after that. Soft forks are those upgrades or minor changes within the network like the segwit. So talking like "claiming fork coins" are talking just like you can claim too out of segwit. Well, it's how people are used to say but, it's just an fyi.
859  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Frozen withdrawals at AutoHashMining.com on: November 25, 2023, 03:32:15 PM
So there is literally no known instance in the bitcointalk.org fossil record of a legit cloud mining service?
Most of those that have been said as "legit" in the past have also turned around and became the same to this company that disabled your withdrawal.
I keep seeing the word 'most' in this thread, but never any examples of an exception to the rule. One of those 'name it and it dies' things, I suppose.
That's how ponzi works though, working fine at early stage, withdraw here and there until it become unprofitable anymore then vanish. The rekt ones are the last one who entered the game. Usually, the large daily interest rate, attract greedy people to enter the game.

The "most" words is usually used in cloud mining because some of them are still operating and still "paying" but the maintenance fees are so high that it looks like your not getting profits at all not until you deposit or buy another hashpower, this sounds like genesis mining, bitdeer, tophash, even binance's cloud mining service.
860  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BC.Game - can't withdraw 7.97 BTC on: November 25, 2023, 03:15:49 PM
t seems only casino streamers "can" win millions of dollars. When ordinary players have problems with an amount ten times less. It is sad((
That's what they show you. In reality the streamers and the casino owners have internal deal. They just get paid for their time.
Only for paid partnership streamers though. But not to those who just make a video out of it without affiliation, just to show off or something. But it rarely happens as streamers with huge fandom or not that huge will probably mentioned their price for every video/stream made.
