841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: August 22, 2023, 04:19:54 AM
If aiming for the long term I only trust two well known and trusted cryptocurrencies with a solid track record and large market capitalization especially Bitcoin and Ethereum and Bitcoin is my priority.
However, it is important to remember that the cryptocurrency market is unpredictable, and there are always risks associated with investing in any digital asset, and always do your research and analysis before making your investment choices and goals in the short, medium or long term.
And it is advisable to diversify your investments and only invest what you can afford to lose. And as for Tron, I don't have Tron, so I don't know much about it because I'm not interested.
That is definitely the things you should consider. I mean for me Bitcoin, ethereum and bnb are the biggest names, litecoin comes as fourth as well. For example, the "top" ones that I wouldn't even consider has always been XRP and Doge, those are still looking like they are near the top but I would never consider buying them at any moment, it really doesn't feel like it will be reasonable for me to buy them, it just doesn't feel that good at all.

I know that it will not be that simple and it is going to take a while but I feel like that's just how it is for me and how I would invest. I would stay away from those, go for the top and buy those four that I named and hold them as long as I possibly could and just let it get higher and higher.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 21, 2023, 06:12:23 PM
If Monaco dominate the game into the middle of the season and PSG just stay put there is no major change it is likely that PSG will only finish in the top 4. Smiley
It's still too early and I think Monaco will find it difficult to maintain their consistency to continue to win every game this season. Even for psg they will find it difficult to defend the title this season if they still have difficulty winning in the upcoming matches. Even Lens were also not on their best path at the start of this season because they swallowed 1 defeat and 1 draw.

Yes, the top two teams last season failed to progress perfectly this season. Are we going to see the surprises that happened this season where another team won Ligue 1. So if PSG fail in Ligue 1 this season, of course this is a significant setback season for them after the departure of Messi and Neymar.
It is obvious that we can't just expect ligue 1 to be the same as it is today after 30 more weeks. I mean Monaco may look good now but it has been only two games so far and I do not think that it matters.

We should be seeing this change a lot and we are going to see PSG win a lot more games, they have the roster for it and they are changing some stuff up, but we are definitely going to see them do a lot better. They still have some money from what I can see, if they can spend that money on some other players (the money they got from neymar deal) then I think they will be even better. It should be considered that they are the best team in the league right now no matter the results, doesn't mean they will be champions, but they still have a chance.

I see many people who say Erling Haaland disappear in the field like you say, because they think Haaland is not suitable for the games against stronger teams and that's why people think Haaland is just a player who can have good performances against the teams with a weak defending system, while he is not because other teams usually focus on Haaland to make this player stop.
Are you kidding? I meant is there a proof why haaland was not suitable against the strong team. What about UCL last season? haaland was always scoring a lot against the big club in UCL. It sounds nonsense if you called that haaland was not suitable for the game against the big team.
Haaland was not able to perform so well due to the lack of good pass toward him. There might be someone who will supply the ball for him. Haaland was rarely getting the ball. It was also impacting his performance in the match against newcastle.
He was a natural striker and he will always try to maximizing his positioning. We are still in the early game of english premier league. Haaland gonna performs even better in the upcoming match.
Just wait and see everything gonna be okay for him.
There will always be some people that dislike certain players and that's normal, you can't expect everyone to like one player, that can't happen. Haaland scored a lot of goals last year, but on the last games he failed to score as we all know, the main reason for that was the simple fact that he was man marked tightly, which allowed others to score instead.

Even when City was beating Real 4-0, Rudiger was on Haaland like a flea and he didn2t leave him, which means that other 4 goals happened very easily considering Rudiger couldn't defend anyone else. Any person with football knowledge would know that it is not Haaland failing to score, it is Haaland getting the defense out of the way for his teammates to score easier.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rumors spread that SBF is tied to the $BALD rugpull on: August 19, 2023, 06:59:50 PM
Anyone got in $BALD? I hope not. On-chain data (https://twitter.com/redactedp4mp/status/1686095057143881729) suggest interactions between the meme coin BALD’s deployer contract and one of the wallets tagged by Nansen as belonging to Alameda Research - the trading company founded and controlled by Sam. The data was cited by several blockchain sleuths on X (Twitter) and later validated by CoinDesk.

I got in $BALD and I regret it. It was a degen play and only invested what I could afford to lose. Nevertheless a loss is a loss. Oh well. Moving onto the next shitcoin...
It's really funny that Sam is still trying to get peoples money after all the trouble he has been through. I mean it was always obvious that we are not going to end up with him doing anything decent, it was obvious and his bail being lifted makes sense. I also do not know anyone who has invested into BALD, it never made sense that anyone would invest into these shitcoins and tokens.

I mean it's obvious that we are talking about a situation that would be remotely this terrible, it just doesn't make sense. I hope that people get to do this a lot better when the time comes and stop investing into these things, it should be important. I believe that we could make a bigger impact on this, and that should be a lot more important.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 19, 2023, 06:04:59 PM
How a big European giant like Real Madrid who possess all it takes to attract the best strikers in the world to the club has sticked to just one man since the former big striker Karim Benzema left the club has indeed been a surprise to many football faithfuls.
There's no doubt that Kylian Mbappe is a great forward player who posseses all the good qualities needed in an attacker but the fact that he's not strick with his personal decision about his future coupled with the fact that he can be easily influenced with money should've made Madrid go all out and spend the money on him or go for another striker. The summer transfer window is nearing it's end and we're yet to know if the player is gonna go to Madrid or not.
I would guess that because it is a bit of a fan related sport. If you see that Mbappe may not join your team, or maybe he would but there is no guarantee and you go ahead and spend your money on some other striker and suddenly Mbappe decides not to come to Real Madrid anyway, then it is going to be a tough one without a doubt.

I think it would be smarter to actually wait for the summer, try to get Mbappe and if he doesn't come then you can tell the fans that you tried and he just didn't come and put the blame on Mbappe instead of the team management. This is why they are going to play a season without a striker, Joselu is there to be fair but I doubt he would be used all that much, and they will wait until summer to not make the fans angry.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 19, 2023, 04:50:49 PM
Erling Haaland is unarguably the most prolific striker in Europe at the moment and that numbers strongly backs up that claim. The number of goalscoring records he's broken and created after his first season at Manchester City last season is a true testament that he's gonna be one of the biggest players of his generation.
However I think he's a good finisher that's always at the right place whenever his team is on the attack. His foot works on the ball whenever he's in possession of the ball isn't as good as his finishing and that's the area he has to work. He mustn't rely on good passes to score goals. What makes a striker to be termed "complete" is if he can fall deep when his team isn't breaking the defense, collect pass, dribble past one or two players before scoring or creating a good chance for his team to score. If Haaland can learn and efficiently know how to dribble with the ball, he'll have better goalscoring records than Ronaldo and Messi in the future if you ask me
I guess that there is something that could be considered probable with Mbappe as well, that dude is a prolific striker but not a lot of people consider him pure striker since he was evolved from a left winger as well.

I would say that it's going to be something that would matter, because if we are talking about a pure striker then Haaland could be the best one. He had a great year at City last year obviously and he is a great scorer without a doubt but at the same time if you took Haaland out of City and put him at PSG and instead you took Mbappe out of PSG and put him at City then I bet that Mbappe has at least as much goals as Haaland did, he would be a good fit for that team because he would be running around passing.
847  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are stable coins free from SEC ? on: August 19, 2023, 04:18:30 PM
Because if stable coins was target it will be a enormous hit to the whole crypto market, why haven't such thing happened yet? I also read where the former Binance.US said that the White House is trying to keep stable coins "out of discussions" like they know something.

Is this all about saving their USD? Or they are waiting to create CBDC successfully first before they go after stable coins?
Different types of stablecoins with different names and who launched them. An example of BUSD from Binance because the exchange that issues it, the SEC has more freedom to play. But what if the government issued its own Stablecoin in crypto form? looks safe or is always not taken seriously. That's why this distinction is quite clear. As long as it is centralized and the SEC itself is controlled under the auspices of certain institutions, it does not rule out the possibility that everything will go well. This is all still under the same title, which is only about profit control.
I think it is going to be basically keeping someone responsible for whatever may happen. If you have any stablecoin with a company that has offices in the USA that can respond to anything that may go wrong, I think it is going to matter and we are going to see it do well enough.

I understand that it is not a simple job and we are going to see a lot of troubles and investigations and courts and all that, but in the end it will be allowed to continue as long as SEC could put their hands on it. Right now, it is all like that and all the major ones have at least one office in the USA and if anything goes wrong SEC could just raid that office and investigate what's going on and they could decide on what went wrong as well.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 18, 2023, 06:14:15 PM
This doesn't seem to be true. Some of the oldest and reputable crypto casinos don't do KYC. All fiats do KYC and many fiats are crooked. Even if you give your KYC to a crypto casino they may ask for a video selfie later.
That's because the old and reputable crypto casinos already make a lot money, so if there's a gambler is winning and withdraw his profit, it's just a peanut for the casino and they will not ask KYC since it just a wasting time for them.

Yeah KYC isn't only submitting personal ID, bill etc, but including self introduction video, live video, or other ridiculous thing that could satisfy them and you don't have any option to reject it.
I am not sure if there are many places that asks video and all that. I have done KYC in many places, and the only ones I did was text ones that asks for your information so you write them, an image of my ID, back and forth, and an image of me holding a piece of paper with my face and my id on the same image. That's it, it's a typical KYC situation and they basically ask three images that's it, rest is done by them.

I have never been asked about my image any other way, or any videos neither. That seems like something that I wouldn't really know about and I think it is going to be a big of a deal when you think about live video as well, video is understandable but live video means a bit bigger, like actually be on call with them? Hell no.
849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 18, 2023, 05:44:15 PM
I agree, Sixers are not "that" far away from being a championship contender, they just needed to focus on making the team better and they could keep Harden that way. The problem is that Sixers told Harden to get a pay cut so they could get better players to surround him and Embiid in order to win a title, he agreed and then they got nobody. This is why there is a trouble and with Harden gone then why would Embiid stay. I am guessing that Harden will want out because he has been lied to, but if Sixers could manage to get some great players, then Harden could be turned to be happy, might be too late though. This is not a good idea for either side, nobody will get anything out of this.
They got Tucker with that pay cut that Harden did, and he did well at least as a role player. The problem is Harden himself because he choked at the time when the Sixers needed him the most, and that is Game 7 against the Celtics. He made the winning shot in Game 6, but was almost non-existent in Game 7. It wasn't Harden that's the problem at that time, but Harden himself. They've got good role players that season.

With regards to Embiid, he will stay for another season with the Sixers, and if there is still no development, or progress in terms of their performance in the playoffs, it's almost certain that he will request a trade to another team. Overall, Harden will play with the Sixers, and he must play or his value will go lower. "NO" teams want him anymore, and if there is, they probably are trying to negotiate with the Sixers already. I mean Harden is an all-star player, but his drama is too much to handle for the team, and it's much worse than Irving IMO. On the other hand, I will not be surprised if there will be teams that will be interested in Harden especially those championship caliber teams right now.
I am not sure if getting Tucker is a good idea as a championship contender team. I mean if you asked Harden to get a paycut just to get Tucker, that is not a good move, if he was told that they would get Tucker and he agreed to it then you are right about it, but if he was asked and just told that they will get another good player, without giving a name, after seeing Tucker then I would guess Harden would be pissed. That guy is not a difference maker if you ask me and should not be considered as a good player at all.

I believe that there are situations where it will take a little bit of a while before teams get used to each other as well. Harden may not be playing the best basketball of his life, but he is still decent enough.
850  Economy / Economics / Re: All millions are from real estate. on: August 18, 2023, 06:46:02 AM
Well, so far, real estate is a very good investment. So many millionaires have used real estate to their advantage, and it really does. Apart from the small risk, the value always increases every year. I think increasing real estate investment before retirement is a very good strategy.
Until now, I am also still trying to combine crypto and real estate. We know that crypto is also a good investment and fast in terms of profit. Those profits can be funneled into real estate, and I think enough people have tried that, and not a few have succeeded.
If the profits obtained through crypto investment are then brought into real estate investment, I would also agree with that point because the profits obtained can be more useful if they are used as capital for other, more different investments such as real estate. And this indicates that the two investment spaces are still good enough to be used by many people who really never look at the age of everyone as long as we have the ability and sufficient knowledge to do it. Such a merger is a good enough combination because the authorized capital is not lost and the profits can also be used for better things so that both of them will look good enough to work together.
I feel like that would be a weird move in the end. I mean think about it, you make enough money from crypto to make it grow into a real estate investment, then why not just keep doing what you are doing with crypto? Like lets say there is a house out there for 150k you could buy and renovate and sell, all of that combined costs 150k, including renovation.

And you start with like 30-40k and don't have 150k to start doing that, and you start investing and trading crypto, turn that 30-40k into 150k thanks to crypto investments. In that case, why sell your crypto and use it for the house? I would guess that it would make more sense if you could just keep doing what you did with crypto and keep making money that way.
851  Economy / Economics / Re: How to developed your capital on: August 17, 2023, 06:49:10 PM
I once worked in a place that was originally small and only consisted of about 4 employees, the type of business was a house improvement contractor and in 3 years the number of employees became 30 people, the owner had told me that the most important thing from the business was honesty, as long as it could be honest it would be easy to Looking for investors with transparent profit sharing systems.
This is definitely true, if you do a good job then the good job will come back to you and you will return it with a great profit without a doubt. I have met with a lot of people like that and they all made great returns. Of course that's not the only way, there are shady people who made some money as well, like for example look at Amazon, do you really think that they grew to be this big by being fair?

Of course not, they were never honest, they have paid their own workers so little that their own workers who spent 8 hours a day working there ended up in poverty level. But you need to be honest about the work you do, if you do that then you are going to end up with a great return without a doubt, it's very important.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 17, 2023, 05:38:10 PM
Chelsea have spent €120M to sign him, after six months they want to sell this player? that's crazy because his market value is only €55M, I don't think Liverpool will spend as high as €120M which mean Chelsea are in lose assuming the transfer will successful.

I think Enzo Fernandez is a good defensive midfielder, he's worth for €55-80M, he have not making any blunder in Chelsea.
I think it's more about making sure that they are under FFP. For those who do not know, when you buy a player that price goes part by part into his contract, so lets assume you pay someone 80 million dollars, but have him sign an 8 year contract, that means only 10 million goes into FFP and when you sell him for 70 million, that means you made 60 million in profit on paper.

This is what they did last year, they looked like they spent a ton of money to get those players but in return they ended up making sure that they sell some of them and do better. Next up is that they can sell a few players every year, and get few players every year and be in profit, and keep the number of players equal no matter how much it costs them.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 17, 2023, 03:41:31 PM
There's been reports in different sports tabloids in France suggesting that the France national team captain is in advanced talk with the club to extend his contract with the club beyond the end of this season. If the club can convince and keep their talisman at the club, then PSG will be a huge force in the European stage this season
I also heard that Mbappe has agreed to extend his one-year contract at PSG, so the Mbappe problem is over. But if asked how they will look next season when they are in the Champions League competition, I don't think it will be much different because they used to have such a great attacking trio, but it was very difficult to compete in the Champions. It took time for Luis Enrique to make PSG a strong challenger in the Champions League and we saw that experience when Pep Guardiola took over Manchester City.
PSG definitely made a big mistake by keeping Mbappe, I mean not like he was willing to leave neither, but at the very least they could have kept him off the list and not give him a minute of play time, that would have forced his hand to leave eventually.

I get that they want to make amends and play him and hope that he stays, but if he leaves, that means they didn't made a dime off him. They need to build the new squad without him already to get used to it. They are good enough, with this new Neymar deal they should be able to replace anyone, and if they sold Mbappe, then they could have made a lot more as well. The moment Mbappe said no to 700 million dollars for a single year from Saudi Arabia, it was all downhill from there.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine the Total Supply of an unlisted Token? on: August 17, 2023, 02:58:51 PM
These are all paid articles with money raised from previous scams. You can publish any article you wont on sites like WSJ, cointelegrph, yahoo finance, marketwatch, bloomberg etc for less than 2000$. 1 article and people.
1 article of this type costs $ 2,000 and the legend about it circulates for years.
Maybe some stories there arent real ofcourse I know marketing strategy like that. But gotta tell you that I myself doing some of these degen trading and not only me but bunch of my collegueas and friends. They did earned huge winning. This is my actual friend so get loss with those babbling articles cause even me myself so those in my own wallet and theres. Of course not exaggerated not in the articles. Just because its really happening doesnt mean its just stories and paid whatnot. Also Im also familiar with the on chain transaction and I believe those whom I see myself including the entry price on chain and the sold price in the blockchain not in paragraphs on coindesk or whatever.
You could always end up getting them whenever you want, it all depends on the money you have. Obviously not all the people in the world will do that, but it could be done and it's fine. They have paid for it and they have a right to do it. If they paid for this then they have a right to share it, and you can ignore it and not read it and we can just move on, that's what I do and I find it pretty useless to spend that kind of money on those things, but at the end of the day we are talking about something that they paid for so they will of course want to make it get better.

This should be the most important case here, it should be a big deal when the time comes and we want to do some marketing as well, and we need people to enjoy it.

I didn’t know it’s now compulsory for the president to visit states that just suffered and trying to recover from a disaster. He has approved federal funding to try and help them get past this crisis. You also want him to visit there along with his entourage and have resources that would be utilized due to his visit when they could be put to a more better use.

Yes, a lot of conspiracy theories are all over the internet cause of the fire and I would say it’s mostly being spread around by right wing nuts. Without any real evidence, these theories are baseless and should be rightfully ignored.
According to the article you shared, she was initially denied access out of respect for the folks who are there seeking help and safety. And she was later granted access but without her camera crew. Apparently, there’s a no media policy that’s in place.

I’m not surprised by all the fake outrage. Even if Biden visited Maui, Republicans would look for something else(mostly irrelevant things) to use in criticizing the president.
This is how politics works, you may have your favorite candidate murder a person, and your opponent slap a person, and you would defend your candidate murdering and you would condemn the opponent for slapping. Republican party is the "party of family values" that is rooting for the guy who was having an affair with a pornstar while his wife was in labor, imagine the level of immorality there, the guy was in a hotel room with a pornstar while his wife was giving birth to their kid.

When you realize that, you realize that we are talking about nothing fair anymore. Nobody cares how bad your own guy is, they only care about the fact that it is not going to be acceptable at all for the other candidate to win, it is just not acceptable to them.

Well not for long for most people. Although in the long-term, people would still want to get the easiest way to earn money so they would just step in to the same rake. Insert "Jumping on a rake" meme here.

In regards of crypto media, I usually take those with a grain of salt. It's not something you would solely rely on deciding to sell your coins. I can remember those days....those FUD days that I was trading in EtherDelta and Binance and was like highly attached to these news headlines, it all turned out to be just an attempted FUD. What a bummer.
It's true, the crypto media is doing stuff just because they want to do it, and that's not really acceptable at all, we should be a lot more careful with what we are doing. I think it should be reminded that if we are going to end up with any news, then we need to be able to confirm it from multiple sources, and directly from the source of that news as well, we need to be able to check it ourselves and see it.

Otherwise it is "reported that this and this happened" and then you check and that did not happen and the news was a lie. The worst case is that they defend themselves as saying "we said it was reported, it was reported wrong to us as well" about making a false news as well. So, it should be important to keep checking the main source.
857  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: August 16, 2023, 07:11:41 PM
Currently there are various things that are happening in the crypto market, starting from the predictions & speculations that we see right now, maybe it will continue until the meeting point, so many people say that's what I said at that time, you really do it and get profit in the bitcoins you have.
I agree that we should not rush into selling our bitcoin, that doesn't really make any sense at all. We should be a bit more careful about it as much as we possibly can, and that way we are going to end up with a better result. I get that people are not entirely careful about what they do, and we need to be patient and just keep holding as long as we possibly can.

This will allow us to be a lot better when the time comes and the result will be much better as well. It's definitely not an easy thing to do, we need to be careful about it a lot, but that's just something we need to be considering as an option and not really a big deal. Of course you can sell when you think it's peaked enough, but not anytime soon at all.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 16, 2023, 05:54:34 PM
Most likely the reason is the underestimation of the opponent, although after the defeat in the first match Marseille should have been more attentive. Returning to the game in extra time gave Panathinaikos some kind of psychological advantage, and penalty shootouts are always a lottery. It is very unexpected to see Marseille fail to make it to the group stage. Now Panathinaikos will face Braga, another very difficult opponent.
I saw a very serious difference between their play in the first leg and this second leg, they should have been able to do the same as this match in the first leg, but unfortunately they couldn't do it so it was a loss that in the end they had to be eliminated.
I agree with you that they probably underestimated their opponents, especially in the first leg. I understand home and away status does matter, but when you look at what they did in this match, they should be able to do it in their away matches as well.
I feel like there are situations where even the best teams could end up losing to worse teams and thats how football is played. I get that it is not going to be easy to handle like that but as long as it's possible, there will always be a chance. I think Marseille goes to europa this way don't they? If thats the case then I am sure that they are going to be fine and there won't be any problems at all. I think it's something that matters a lot and we should be considering them doing a lot better there.

Any team that doesn't do well in UCL would be a lot more glad that they are at europa. Of course financially that's terrible, they do need that kind of money to go there and play in order to make that money, and then be third in their group and go to europa that way.
859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: August 16, 2023, 08:29:24 AM
Roberto Mancini resigned as italy's national coach today in a complete surprise. the italian football federation 'figc' announced on sunday noon that the 58-yo RM submitted his resignation late saturday night. the italian federation wants to announce a successor already 'in the coming days' - due to the 'important and tightly timed mandatory matches in the qualifiers.' In less than a month, on september 9, italy will play in the european championship qualifiers in northern nacedonia, and three days later the four-time world champions will play at home against ukraine.
More or less expected. Italy has underperformed for the last few years and they seems to be one of those European teams in constant decline (similar to the case with Netherlands, Germany and Danmark). They even failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Roberto Mancini did a decent job, but if quality players are not emerging from the national league, there is not much that he can do. Gone are the times when Italy had players such as Roberto Baggio and Filippo Inzaghi. The current bunch of players are no comparison with the past legends.
That's the weird thing though, they have won the latest one, and suddenly they are bad? Think about it, they were the winners of euro 2020, and then they were not even in world cup. How many times did that happen before? Maybe it has happened before and I am just not aware of it, but to me that looks like an unlikely situation.

The fact that France couldn't win 2020 euro and Italy did was a big shocking result. This is why I am not entirely sure about what's going to happen next, it could be something decent or it could be nothing at all, in the end I feel like maybe another big shocker could happen again as well. That seems like the most important part of the deal right now and we need to be more careful about it when we are betting.

There are many reasons for people who come to gamble. Some want to have fun. Some want to get money from gambling games. But specifically for those who want to earn money, it seems they have to be able to accept the big risk of losing because gambling is not a place to make money. They don't need to try to make money from gambling and should be aware that they can lose all their money quickly. For those of us who want to play gambling, we have to be careful and always remember that gambling is for fun. By consistently applying this to ourselves, we can keep ourselves from crossing those limits to be safe while playing gambling.
It's really losing that keeps us away from gambling as least for me when I'm on a losing streak, I just stop for like days or even a week and stay away from gambling. But then again, if there are games and sports that I want to bet then I will get back to it.

However, let's say my losing streak is on games like dice or slot machine, yeah I enjoyed but when losses are piling up, I re-assess whether to continue or not just lay low for quit some time and not push my extreme bad luck.
I think it makes sense to give a break when you are not doing that well and you should reconsider the situation. If you lose a lot that day and you keep gambling more and more then you are going to be in the hole and I bet that it is not going to end up being any good for you. However, if you end up with something more logical like you gambled and the results are not that great and then you end up with a result where you just end up getting something better returned, that would be a lot more important.

This means that you stopped right at the correct time and you didn't lose all that much money and then another day you could restart again and if the result is great at the second time you tried that would be a much better result.
