No, by tracing the blockchain, and with some help of another i was able to narrow it down to 2 people. I will say it is not me, but not much more. Ah. So a big holder then. That's a lot of PMC, I have to say. Still, PMC is still better distributed than NXT! Also; thanks to whoever donated 2.60 PMC to the block rewarder. It'll add a few more days to its running.  I'm going to have to think about moving the block rewarder to a permanent server soon. I'm not mining much on this machine any more, and I am happy to keep it running for as long as I can afford to. |

sad to see such a nice coin buried and neglected... just shows that without an active leader the best coins will sink.
In that case I'd be happy to see a community takeover if the dev has moved on. Only because Cash didn't "go to do Moon" like all the pumpers and dumpers hoped does not mean it is a bad coin. There are a few of us willing to help. Not sure who has the funds, but someone has been keeping the price going. I keep 3.2Mhs on it all the time pretty much, between MineBig and Easy Mining. Trying to mine other things to sell, have to start thinking about payback to investors. Coin is the best .. but without a leader .. it will trundle along. Still a great coin for small miners and long term buying whales. Saying that, when we get our act together, it will be very easy to re-gain interest. Well, Cash does have one thing go for it; it never got pumped and dumped. Certainly not in any way like most new coins. Cashcoin is a good concept and worth keeping alive. I bought in a few thousand, and they're now sitting in my wallet, not on the exchange. I actually work in retail, and I know a lot of retailers are clueless to cryptocurrency. What you need to get a coin moving like this is get a few web devs on board who would offer their servives to integrate Cashcoin payments into retailer websites. |

exchanges are there to help facilitate trade. The value of a coin is determined by supply/demand, not the exchange. Its up to the community to give a coin value, not the exchange. It appears that EBT has no real developer now.

Since when did the exchanges dictate everything? EBT can do what it likes, and at least it still stands out from the crowd by standing against this joke of having to pay for votes. you need exchanges for price discovery. You also need exchanges so that people can buy and sell. If the trend is to pay to get on an exchange so be it. If there is no exchange you guys will kill this coin. Look at the coins at the top of these pay-to-votes. A load of pump-and-dump crapcoins, mostly. What do you think is going to happen with all these coins listed? Take a look at Cryptorush for a glimpse into the future of Cryptsy. Is this really progress? A ton of crapcoins filling the pages of exchanges, with swathes of BTC going into the pockets of the exchanges, with them arbitrarily deciding when to list new coins so they can grab as much BTC as possible? Anyone who thinks this is a good move for Altcoins is mistaken. The only winners out of this are the exchanges. Once they have their BTC they don't care if your coin ends up buried in the dust. They'll discard it with yesterday's trash and wait for the next coin to leach BTC from. The price cryptsy is asking for votes is nothing short of extortion. You do *not* need to ask for that much BTC to gauge which coins have the most interest. In fact you don't need to pay for votes at all. All this does is kill the majority of the altcoin market and puts more control in the hands of the whales who can afford to buy votes then pump and dump their coin of choice. We are moving towards altcoins being penny stocks. |

built in block explorer (so you can look up transactions and addresses)
a news/updates section so you can constantly see any news related to fckbanks
exchanges, so you can see the current price on the various exchanges where fckbanks is listed as well as links to them
mining, a list of pools with info so you don't have to look around to find a list of all the mining pools
also it will show the current amount of fcks mined total, the block reward, the network hashrate, as well as the current difficulty
anything else you guys would like to see?
I'd love to see a paper wallet generator. Something simple and stylish that turns your FCKs into paper currency. I would love to hand them out to people. Stick the URL and simple instructions on it (or have the url point to instructions) and let people discover the coin for themselves. |

I think Premine (PMC) and KlondikeCoin (KDC) are two extremely undervalued coins. The reason being is that they have strong development, strong community support and aren't pump and dump hype coins. They're going strong despite the tide of new coins coming out on a weekly basis.
This also applies to NobleCoin.

Another "PMC stakeholder" brainstorming session would probably help some. Last time we did that we produced some decent results.
It really isn't that we aren't talking in the thread about "what's next" for premine. The fact is that we've already done them and we are being stonewalled or ignored. At the same time there are 10-20 new coins per day, some with massive advertising budgets. Everybody seems to be watching for the next big thing. This puts us in a tough spot since we were relying on giveaways and word of mouth. Since most of us are tapped out on giveaways, that makes it even worse.

alsoalso: this dump (could) be a good thing as long as it isn't the same people buying it. It will help distribution spread further. Although admittedly it's sad to see people getting out, the people getting out were only in for a quick buck in the first place, so good riddance.
In any case, lets get the core members together, along with the stakeholders and do another brainstorm.
Sounds good to me, Dev, Count me in. PMC isn't doing anything wrong. It's trying to wade through a tide of new altcoins that are sucking up all the attention. It's that get-rich quick mentality that is making it so difficult to get noticed. PMC should focus on what it does differently and expand on that. It seems what people want nowadays isn't innovation but novelty. How about we push for some blog articles about PMC? We spoke about it in IRC some time ago. I'd be happy to contact a few blogs if we can get a list together. |

Now 0.0003 is much better I certainly have BTC I can move in to PMC. The situation with altcoins has reached epic proportions of greed. Now you have to buy votes to get listed anywhere. It's a joke. Greed is certainly the reason that it's very hard for a coin to survive in this market. People are impatient and will just move on to the "next big thing". Thankfully PMC has a good community, and we really need to work hard to keep it going and growing. A coin with a long-term future will have sustainable value.
Look at the amount of coins that rise and fall into oblivion on a weekly basis now. There aren't that many long-standing altcoins. PMC is part of a rare group.

The pool. Avoid hashrapid. They regularly "switch servers" and people lose a lot of coins. Just avoid them. |

It pains me to say this, but I do not wish for PMC to be listed as a coin to vote for on Cryptsy. This voting system that exchanges are employing now simply promotes pump and dump coins to the top, and is at best bribery, and at worst pure and unadulterated greed.
Coins should be listed on their merits, not on the deepness of the pockets of the community. I think it's all a big sham, and quite frankly this has effectively ruined the chance of any legitimate coin getting on an exchange. It may very well have effectively killed the chances of any coins getting on Cryptsy without paying to do so.
Paying for votes is wrong.
I fully agree . . . I've said it a million times, it's pure extortion. It is. We're above that. I would request that Cryptsy do not list us for voting. If they want to add PMC, they can do it on its own merits. Not some shallow popularity contest that is a mere smokescreen for extorting BTC. |
