841  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The difference between science and religion on: September 12, 2018, 02:13:52 PM
When we apply real DMT science to religion, aren't we turning science into religion?

No, science is hypothesizing that Moses hallucinated via known mechanisms.  This is based on the facts which I already presented.  There is no request to "take it on faith" or any of that jazz.  I presented facts and evidence.  The evidence I presented could be tested by anyone.

That's the whole point of science.  You can test it for yourself.  Unlike religion, where you are asked to trust the writings of an ancient desert dwelling tribe without the ability to test any of their claims.

Then why science "can't explain the existence of life and why science can't explain if where did the evolution begins". That can simply tell us that science can't explain everything. Just imagine how did they concluded that we came from apes based on charles darwin's theory yet he cannot explain the core of evolution that he presented.

If we came from apes then where did the ape came from? From the fussil? Where did the fussil came from? So basically science cannot dig in deeper to that which makes science not completely rational IMO.

I just hate the fact that people thinks that science is perfect which is obviously not.

Everytime I ask some atheist to why science can't just simply explains everything they will always tells me that because science is still progressing. Lol seriously? That is just a pure common sense that because there is someone who created everything
842  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists Hate Religion? on: September 12, 2018, 01:38:27 PM

Do you see God?  What he looks like?

If you see him, you are insane.

BTW, most atheists do not believe in God(s) because of the lack of physical evidence.

Have you seen evil?(I was talking about the ugly scary demon not the act).

If yes then you are insane.

Atheist believes that there is evil even if there is a lack of physical evidence as well.

Because religion dictates what you need or have to do just to show your love to the creator. They enforce to you their ideals which they abide to, but a different ideal doesn't necessarily mean that you do not respect the lord. Atheists see it as that way so instead of trying to force themselves in, they leave. They'd rather stop worshipping than make themselves do things they never really wanted to do.

Exactly, because given have given us(humans). The free will and obviously atheist have choosen their path.

Cause if God did not exist there is no free will.

I am also a cebuano, and I was criticized alot of times already because of not so being fluent in english. Therefore you don't have to be that good already when you were starting. As long as you can share the thought then that is fine. So always doing your research with regards to any topic is a must.

I would like to recommend joining Jet cash fit to talk english campaign. You will be redirected to other forum in which you can practice speaking english there.

844  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A-ads advertising network how to earn money on: September 12, 2018, 05:58:05 AM
There are many bitcoin ad networks, a good one is coinzilla for example.
Tell us more about how you can connect your site to this ad network. What are the requirements?
I'm just wondering how much profit I can make.
For example, a-ads pay per 1000 views 0,03$
how much is coinzilla paying?

Conzilla pays alot more better than a-ads. Tho Conzilla right now is very choosy when it comes to accepting new members unlike a-ads. 1000 views per day is quite good anyways even if the rates compared to conzilla is much lower since conzilla consider a not unique  impression.

I see, just in case you will be needing some help the offer is still there.

Tech board is really a good place since most of the post are very technical. That place has a small hole for spammers. Anyways you have the full control to whom you will give your merit
846  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Talk has made me a bit sad today. on: September 11, 2018, 10:48:10 AM
IMO, you're trying a bit too hard, that's what I felt. No offense whatsoever. When you try too hard and don't get the desired results, sadness is obvious.

The Fit to Talk project is a really good initiative and like theymos mentioned in a post about courses and educating, it's contributing and let the one's who want to learn, learn, ignore the other's.

Maybe Jet cash expected too much from those work. Tho I can't personal blame him since the effort he give is also a lot.

Ignoring others who don't want to learn is just the opposite of his perspective i guess since he is encouraging someone to improve. That is why it is hurting his feeling.

@jetcash just continue doing efforts that will surely be worth it later on. I can help you aswell in designing some of your sites like blog(for free). Also don't mind giving merits that is for some quality post not for sympathy
847  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Talk has made me a bit sad today. on: September 11, 2018, 08:54:13 AM
Sad to say but some folks are just really here for incentives and maybe that is one of the reason why they are not showing interest on your projects.

I am always quite annoyed aswell when somebody quotes infographics.

Maybe I could help you this might be a little step but i will try to encourage some of my folks in our local section to try one of youf project which is the fit to talk english. And of course will try it myself as well.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I'm mining at a loss on: September 11, 2018, 08:02:08 AM

I like more people to stop mining so that miners who are mining at a loss now have lower mining difficulty.

Wrong logical thinking. The real problem here is the big mining company such as bitmain mining coins using ASIC. Solo miners are a good practice for decentralization. Large mining companies such as bitmain are causing the pain for small miners like us. So you better wish instead that bitmain or any large mining companies stops.
849  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which posts should be awarded with merits ? on: September 11, 2018, 06:54:18 AM
Which part of
- you cant offer your posts is not clear? If you don't even bother reading and understanding somebody else post, how you can even think anyone will read yours.

He even posted twice consecutively.  So basically aside from not reading OP's rule this person is also not aware of the forum rules and that really sucks IMO
850  Other / Meta / Re: Vote for new moderators who deserve it. @theymos please take a look. on: September 11, 2018, 06:45:46 AM
I simply voted vod based on  my following criteria.

- knowledge
- experience
- Entertaining
- for his decision making
- Fairness

Tho one thing that does not satisfy my interest is that
 If he is interested

I think that OP is desperately hoping for a change in the future's price. No matter how think about it his reasoning really is wrong but I still somehow likes how he would love to support the chain by mining.

Mining at a loss can be a great option if you have the ability to pay your electricity bills without cashing out.  A lot of people mined bitcoin when it was unprofitable and they came out millionaires.  Plus right now is a great time to pick up miners extremely cheap.

You can't just depend on your luck. You are both wasting time and money doing something that can't guarantee you a profit. "bitcoin moon price" always provide false hope to users.
852  Other / Meta / Re: Partially decentralised moderating on: September 11, 2018, 02:19:59 AM
This could be abused though. A lot of people would then just report the obvious spam, and then use their "mod point" for malicious purposes. Remember, not all staff members even have the permissions to delete site wide, but only in their sections that they are assigned. Patrollers can delete newbie posts site wide.

Although, it would be nice to promote more reporting, and more users deleting spam. It would likely be abused, and wouldn't work in reality.

Agree, Everytime we can make suggestions we will also try consider first its negative effect. I guess that is still the main concern to why theymos rarely approves user requests. The fact that even mods have restrictions in deleting post only on their section therefore theymos is really keeping that function not to be abused.
853  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Philippine Standard Towards this community on: September 10, 2018, 11:24:11 AM
To return a bit to the OP.
I suspect the problem stems from a need for small amounts of immediate cash, and a myopic view of the ways to obtain it. It is possible to improve yourself whilst you are earning this cash. You just need to have the will, and to focus on ways to improve yourself. I think it is sad to see members with several hundred posts, and no merits. A liitle less time spent in banging out rubbish, and a bit more time spent in checking and editing posts would probably change that.

For example - how much time does it take to snip a quote, and make your post less likely to be skipped over by a merit awarder.

however that is not the reality in bounty hunting. Most bounty hunters are not getting quick money from this tho it still fall to "free money" category.

That is why most of them woudn't simply care about the forum's status as long as they get what they wanted. That is the reason why it is also affecting other members from the same country and frankly that is not good for both users.
854  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Philippine Standard Towards this community on: September 10, 2018, 07:20:36 AM
I don't want to go off-topic here, but I am the only one who laughs every time I see someone talking about "investing" in an ICO? Almost all ICOs have no product, no company, no finances, no accounts and no vision. If this is your definition of investing, you might as well "invest" in a 5-year-old's lemonade stand. You aren't investing, you are gambling.

Most ICOS are a total scam. What they only have was their website and promises and thats it. If you were the owner of that ICO then you really are investing to scam other people.

Or don't have their own computers. I'm willing to bet 90% of Filipino posting on this forum is done through cell phones, tablets or internet cafe computers.

I guess most of them are using mobile phones. I have that mentality to not open this forum when Im on the internet cafe maybe they have the same mentality as well.

Of course there was a hype and everyone tried to quickly make some easy money, and right, a lot of ICOs have no visions, products and so on. But this is due to the fact that everyone wanted to launch an ico and constructed an idea in the framework. Now is the time for startups with real ideas and products, where a token offering is the most suitable solution compared to classic venture capital. And yes, this is gambling, but funding startups is always gambling.

Funding startups are not purely gambling since if you do talk about legit startups with no hidden agendas. Startups has a pure vision so it is clear to someone who will be investing to that certain project of  what he/she should have to expect.
855  Other / Meta / Re: Have we left "Bitcoin Discussion" board for spammers, forever?? on: September 08, 2018, 08:25:48 AM
Bitcoin Discussion Board  -  ( A city without a police authority). Ask theymos why there is still no one handling that area.

but for me the  Economics board and speculation board are much worse.

I will be sighting a little example to why this 2 boards are much worse than bitcoin discussion board.

Nope I guess the standard hash for 1070 should not go lower than 965h/s. Overclocking might give you more hashes to be added from the standard hashrate.

I don't use 1070 myself so I am just giving my estimation based on the datas I have gathered. Plus xmrig config might also vary in powering morehasrate.

If you want to run your gpu at its best this config might be good for you using the hashvault pool.

Code:
{
    "algo": "cryptonight",
    "api": {
        "port": 0,
        "access-token": null,
        "worker-id": null,
        "ipv6": false,
        "restricted": true
    },
    "background": false,
    "colors": true,
    "donate-level": 1,
    "log-file": null,
    "pools": [
        {
            "url": "pool.monero.hashvault.pro:3333",
            "user": "46NfRmY4UEsDrEN4YAuVi65ajCZJ9YgMu4f5DGq7w8RqUoFPkFaGXqzWRYuHYLbKyoiPpWs1g9Ef4VNJ4YiW3J79QRWNtr8",

            "keepalive": true,
            "nicehash": false,

    ],
    "print-time": 60,
    "retries": 5,
    "retry-pause": 5,
    "syslog": false,
    "threads": null
}

just change the address.
But if you want to run a smoth pc background.

Code:

{
    "algo": "cryptonight",
    "api": {
        "port": 0,
        "access-token": null,
        "worker-id": null,

    },
    "background": false,
    "colors": true,

    "cuda-bsleep": 100,
    "donate-level": 1,

857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will privacy and merchant adoption fuel the next price rise? on: September 07, 2018, 04:38:21 AM
I really am looking forward with the merchant's adoption. More than the ETF. Mass adoption has always been so successful towards bitcoin price increase for the past years.

Plus I am 100% sure that only the large btc holders who will be benefiting alot from ETF. We have reached that top before without it and we will surely goes back and even more.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE][AMD][NVIDIA][CPU][XMR]How to Mine Monero/RYO + Miners Downloads 💲⛏ on: September 07, 2018, 12:37:56 AM
anyone running 1070 using XMRig? what is your hash? I'm thinking of mining monero

expect a lower hashrate using xmrig. Just like my 1050ti when you mine from xmrstak. The usual hashrate is 330-345h/s but in xmrig it is only 300h/s.

If I will be basing on the hash given by xmrstak on 1070 it is around 738h/s.

However since you will be mining on using xmrig my estimation would be around 695h/s - 717h/s
859  Other / Meta / Re: Should I reply to topics with more or less replies? For the merit? on: September 06, 2018, 02:02:23 PM
For me personally It doesn't matter if that is already a huge thread as long as the discussion is there.

Sometimes if the topic is uodated it means that there are alot of users reading from those. The only problem is you have to identify if there were actually real discussion happening and most of those huge threads are just swarmed up.

Posting in a short threads sometimes has more real discussion so that is not a bad idea.

Tho if you are good in making analytical data you can create your own thread which is for me the hardest yet the most effective way of posting that are mostly being rewarded with merits
860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I daily earn 10% on: September 06, 2018, 01:44:13 PM
It is very crucial, you should have to understand alot of technical terms when you start to do trading.

Such as Analysis, Candles reading, bear and bull of price and probably  a lot more. Aside from that you should have to understand your focus aswell. Tho it is clear that you want a short term trading since you were talking about a daily profit.

Based from my explanation above it is impossible for you to earn that profit. Plus I am 100% sure that you are just going to lose your money since you have no experience at all.
