881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: it's hard to sleep because of thinking about something on: May 10, 2021, 01:54:23 AM
in my opinion if what you do is short term trading it's better to trade only when you're in work hour, i mean don't let the coin left unconverted to stablecoin while you're sleeping since it seems you're also dealing with pump and dump coin which rather depends on your luck. another solution is maybe to use bot that you've configured before hand so at certain event it will go off and automatically execute trade order because honestly, short term trading is quite risky not to mention if it's some shitcoin because frankly speaking short term shit coin trading is fancy gambling.

Sell or hodl - is the question of the day Grin
Actualy, I put only 50 $ in this, and my opinion is - invest only so much, you afford to loose.
Money is not growing on the trees, and risk is high
I put around $10 and I won't cash out unless 5x return. SafeMoon is risky but $10 not as big to regret later. I kept my Safemoon and it's starting mooning again. I have a good feeling it's worth holding. Anything is possible in crypto so i'm holding.
Exactly, this kind of investment only suitable for small amount of money. Even seeing the community of this coin itself felt kinda fishy, I mean the marketing kinda too agressive and all the people who pursue us into buying this coin felt like they want to cash out ASAP after making some quick buck on top of other's misfortune (named the late investor) but 10 bucks? doesn't hurt as much if things go south which seem to be the case if it's a coin like safemoon or the like. Not to mention this kind of project wouldn't sell anymore once better hardforked project coming out.
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth price pridictoin on: May 08, 2021, 02:05:09 AM
Not likely, as I've seen the increase of ETH price is steady but surely however that also gonna take more time than usually unlike other altcoins which has relatively smaller market cap.
But it's probably gonna touch that price point around july due to EIP1559 implementation which means resolving of the gas problem, people pretty much gonna hype that up and the reason is because many people gonna migrate back to ETH from BSC while also if the gas problem gets resolved the dapps and defi use within eth blockchain gonna increase as well.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Path to altseason. on: May 07, 2021, 04:55:04 AM
Personally I think we're still at around phase 2 and phase 3 gonna happen when there's EIP1559 at around july. Most of the capital more specifically from institutional ones still going to btc and the rest of the capital which amounts to small portion of the overall investment are going to altcoin.
Now the media also slowly started hyping up altcoin.

Maybe some of us think due to recent ethereum performance which surprisingly able to keep up its bullrun despite market correction thats happening in bitcoin as phase 3 but remember that we're just at the beginning when it comes to ethereum, the real deal gonna come in few months
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Musk doesn't tweet Dogecoin, can it still soar? on: May 07, 2021, 03:36:07 AM
All this hype around Dogecoin is just a way to show how parasitic influence social networks have. By itself, Dogecoin is useless, it is something that is a disgrace to the crypto world. By the way, like many other coins, which I will not mention here. So I can tell people reading this post to be careful about this coin  Wink.
dogecoin have its own use and not exactly useless but it's true that if compared to other coin doge is just really lacking and seems greatly overhyped. Though, isn't social media influence always have big influence? it's not only happening in crypto market but various other markets as well like stocks, automobile, etc basically  the people who could pursue people into following their idea being called influencer for a reason. Though I do agree, if people ready to make profit from doge pump and dump scheme they should also ready to get their capital busted into dust which honestly isn't gonna happen as long as elon keep shilling it.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Elon Musk's goal with Dogecoin? on: May 07, 2021, 02:41:33 AM
I really think that he was at first just doing it for meme now that he found a way to somewhat exploit the market he try to use it to his advantage, I know he never disclose his doge holding but isn't it just strange that he always brings up about the matter of doge quite frequently without any meaningful motive behind it.
tbh, most of people who believe elon doing it for just meme are too naive, i'm pretty sure even the company he owns like tesla have some portion of doge as holding, just doesn't make sense to see a billionaire so commited to a coin just for the lulz.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signs of the blockchain project exploding on: May 06, 2021, 09:06:28 AM
it's being invested by some popular crypto figure out of the blue and the telegrams discussion becomes so active, that's the obvious sign of project that gonna explode IMO.
doing ama honestly not that impressive but it's still a good thing if the dev personally comes out for ama so to increase the trust in their project. but the most obvious reason of a project gonna explode into massive bullrun is being listed in binance, never once i see a project that's not getting attention after the announcement of binance listing.
888  Other / Archival / Re: Everyone is following the same strategy on: May 06, 2021, 08:25:41 AM
These can of prediction based on shape of price chart is like self fulfilling propechy, people believe at certain shape it's gonna rise, they buy therefore making the price rise reality but as the saying goes there's always an outlier right? where someone definitely gonna go against the flow for certain reasons because there are various minds out there and some of them may not even believe that such thing as market movement analyzation based on the shape of the chart really gonna work.
At the end of the day even such strategy didn't always work basically stay true to the fact that the market is rather erratic. If it always works, anyone who know the method to predict based on the price chart shape would be billionaire.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Uniswap v3 Is Live, Alts are pumping like crazy on: May 06, 2021, 05:35:53 AM
what I'm waiting is the bridging of uniswap with cross blockchain swap platform like in the BSC or RSK then it's gonna be phenomenal but maybe we're still long way to go though the Uniswap v3 isn't disappointing by any means.

Since gas prices soared, I stopped using Uniswap and switched to BSC platforms like Pancakeswap. But maybe the BSC also will be displaced by SOLANA, MATIC, ONE.

Gas already cheap enough nowadays it's just the price of ETH is going up so high the small ether required feels quite expensive in dollar, maybe this gonna be resolved within july so stay tuned I guess and the current gas price actually affordable enough for most of people.
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What really makes a cryptocurrency successful on: May 05, 2021, 11:47:04 AM
If the project really good it will be easy to success. When the project has a good development, good team it will bring good partnership and everyone gonna love that project and invest on it.
But i think the project should also have some real use case where the product offered by such project could shine, I've seen countless project whose team behind it was very committed in developing their project but no one really used it so they fall and bankrupt.
See the example of swap service (dex) despite clone of it coming out everyday it's still selling like a hot cake because its use case is strong and that's what defi  tokens offered quite frequently.
891  Economy / Economics / Re: Government policies help to grow the price of bitcoin on: May 05, 2021, 04:30:22 AM
doubt, i know it makes crypto in general looks a lot more legit than being left unregulated but too excessive regulation that gives strict rules to crypto users in general also could have a huge backlash to bitcoin community overall, the tax on capital gains that was proposed earlier this before this month could already shake the market into dumping about 10% you can imagine if the government trying to corner crypto users it could have bad effect overall in the long term, i prefer a not excessive regulation for crypto so it could keep cryptocurrency at the right direction while not causing burden to the people who uses it.
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What really makes a cryptocurrency successful on: May 05, 2021, 02:08:48 AM
its true that large portion of people who were supposed to be investor of the project don't really know the technicality of the project but atleast many of them know what the project's product and what makes it stand out than other.
Although some people probably just buy some coin without even know the project like what happened when a coin got listed in an exchange and some people just buy the coin out of the blue without even knowing the coin itself but that's like only small portion of people, the rest of them usually able to distinguish the project and find the quirk of the project. like for example, there's reason why swap tokens become very generic because most of people think they could repeat the pump that has happened to uniswap or such.
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Towards a unified currency on: May 04, 2021, 05:15:34 AM
Most of government gonna oppose crypto if it's planned to be a currency that was meant to be the only one used worldwide. There's reason why today we have so many currencies either from cryptos or fiat released by countries, it's to give them control over their own economy and I honestly doubt we gonna have only one currency for all in the future.
But if it's an alternate currency for dealings like digitally I think it's certainly possible, we use crypto when buying things online and fiat when it's offline. though even crypto itself has so many currencies released each day.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn to appreciate the DIP. on: May 04, 2021, 03:20:47 AM
I think its just their emotions toying with them, noobs most especially they always think the market should keep pumping and most time they are the people who fomo and buy altcoins at their all time high then when a correction happens they become agree and start hating crypto, but the truth is that if they waited a little to buy, dips are the best time to buy good altcoins at a cheap price.
It's such a very well known thing that newbies who are too emotionally attached to their investment always make the most poor decision like ever, you see so many recent newcomers who got to know crypto from the recent hype usually buy it at high and when bearish market come they gonna sell it at low.
But, that's just a process of natural selection, they want quick profit but instead they lose their money. There's reason why not all people who invest could get rich it's because investing isn't just putting money and the market will magically double the amount of initial investment. However by that, if they truly has the will to keep up and making profit they certainly gonna learn from their past experience however if they are not really that persistent they gonna come to hate the market as you say.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is dogecoin suitable for kids? on: May 04, 2021, 02:27:48 AM
Not really, I mean if you intend to let your kid earn some peanut money off the airdrops from telegram bot or such maybe but crypto is a financial tool an I doubt any kid that age would be suitable for financial things.
If any just let your kid play those mobile games that rewards cryptocurrency for playing, that way your kid still have the time for playing while also earning money although the money earned not gonna be huge, just wait until she comes of age and know what finance really is.
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: May 03, 2021, 11:50:28 PM
Hello guys,

can anyone explain in simple english how can we use alternative BSC to trade tokens. I am confused.
Lets say the model is as follows: You want to use Metamask and Trustwallet. You open BSC at MM and load some BNB coins. Then you chose exchange swap at TW, lets say pancake? And you trade. So, what token are you able to trade in such way as advantage of lower fees comparing top Uniswap? Are there any traps? Is such BSC way of trading only suitable for certain coins? I know some basics, but moving from Uniswap (because of high fees) is a bit stressfull and new for me. Thanks for your advice's. Regards.
you can only trade the tokens that have migrated over to bsc, can't do anything with tokens that still erc20 and refuse to migrate. pancakeswap itself is a whole different platform in a different blockchain compared to uniswap and it's totally different.
bsc is basically a different blockchain to ETH. consider it another smart contract platform that doesn't really intertwine to each other

when was the last time you made a transaction using ethereum ?? because until now the ethereum transaction fees are still very high, reaching $ 20 / transaction. Currently I often check transaction fees on ethereum because there are some altcoins that I have still in my ethereum wallet. So until now I haven't made a transaction because the ethereum transaction fees are very high.

It was actually decreasing a lot, I mean the ETH fee used to be around 200 gwei per gas now it's just around 50 gwei to 75 gwei after berlin hard fork takes effect but the price dollar wise still kinda high because ETH price keep going up and up it's ridiculous.
I think now we know that the increase of price actually cause the gas fee to be this high.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum price will now go down again after reaching 3k? on: May 03, 2021, 07:51:37 AM
Bruh, even the london hardfork hasn't come yet and you're already talking as if after eth reaches 3k it's gonna go down which hopefully not gonna be the case, even at the time i'm writing this it's already making its way to 3,2K and once the london hard fork takes effect 4k just seems like a normal price for eth considering the influx of capital from BSC which if i'm being frank, filled with bunch of garbage coins and rug pulls people eventually gonna get tired and coming back to ETH and there's many projects as well that try to bridge their dapps to ETH making this coin even more prospective.
If any, it's definitely gonna go all the way up scoring new ATH.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Reverted] on: May 03, 2021, 05:46:23 AM
It seems the smart contract is kinda buggy or broken?
As from your analyzation it's not because of gas and maybe it's true since i personally don't see any problem regarding gas price required but you should try to increase the gas limit since you're gonna migrate ERC20 tokens i assume and if it's still not working i'm pretty sure the transaction is reverted because the code in smart contract throws an exception and it could be anything IMO.
The past transaction also showing the same error as well in that smart contract so maybe you should check it out.

900  Economy / Speculation / Re: The total BTC balance on exchanges continuously decreasing since 2020 on: April 29, 2021, 08:48:25 AM
I keep seeing these things on Twitter which charts detailing the amount of coins on exchanges decreasing. Tye price isn’t going up now though is it, we are 10% down from the ATH. Why isn’t the price going up if available supply is less?
The availability of BTC in exchange decrease slowly so it won't as impactful as many people imagined. But it is definitely good for a long term, the thing regarding why the price is down 10% below ATH is because well as the name ATH itself implies, the market definitely can't sustain to keep btc on ATH price forever, there's always some people who want to dump their bitcoin and make some good profit. The effect of this BTC balance decrease will be starting to show for long term especially for btc long term holders. Hopefully I could still accumulate BTC as much as I can despite the decrease of its availability.
