1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dangers awaits ( unofficial listings ) on: November 09, 2020, 10:00:40 PM
Unofficial listing is rife these days, but they should be easy for everyone to avoid. Everyone should check the real and official smart contract and then look for it on the uniswap exchange or any exchange to not be fooled by tricks like this.
It's easy for people that knows technical but hard to differentiate for people who just barely know about crypto. even though the scam is obvious but so many people are trapped into the scam it's just we don't know it happens because they let it unreported. uniswap should just remove this feature altogether tbh
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap has made it easier for scammers? on: November 08, 2020, 09:47:24 AM
That's the disadvantage of dex, too easy for some stranger to take advantage of kinda reminds me fake smart contract address to scam people into buying fake coin. Freedom always comes at cost and I think this one is indeed the cost. On the other hand some people really need to stop investing into these .finance gimmick without knowing who's behind the project.
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal customers will be able to use BTC, ETH and other cryptos to pay merchants on: November 08, 2020, 06:25:50 AM
With this news, crypto shows that it is indeed for the future and Paypal indirectly popularizes crypto for the world. I hope 2021 will be the year of massive adoption of crypto. The 4 coins that Paypal mentioned jumped in price in 24 hours.

Last week I'm buy some Ethereum, and this news was shocking. I took a lot of profit in just a week. Cheesy
Turns out most of people still care about paypal LOL. I must admit that the year of 2020 right now is out of my expectation despite having all the corona stuff we instead have massive boost in crypto adoption. I'm just waiting some government starts to accept crypto more or atleast legalize it.

Crypto and stocks in term of volatility aren't far off so it better get legalized.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Massive Adoption on: November 08, 2020, 04:07:04 AM
One stop closed to the true mass adoption I guess. Right now almost everyone who's tech savvy enough know about crypto whethern in depth or not and I think it's growing so signficantly compared back then in 2010. Tbh if large companies starts to adopt crypto one by one it will trigger massive adoption like some sort of domino effect where other companies get attracted too. It then gives a chance to crypto market to grows its market capitalization.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IDO] KittieFIGHT - Cryptokitties Combat MMO With Lending Jackpots on: November 07, 2020, 10:13:45 PM
What about IDO (Initial Dex Offering) written in title, has this been done? No public information updates about this?
It has done a few weeks ago. There's a lot of updates regarding it and what you need to did to visit the telegram group and then you can clock join in the group to get the access for the latest news that came for kty.
Telegram is having so many people who were watching the development progress.
Just join the telegram group and you will find what you need from there and that's it
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hotbit exchange is legit. on: November 07, 2020, 10:08:16 PM
In my case were i recently trading on hotbit i would say its a legit exchange, i thought i need  to pass kyc just to make a withdrawal but i was wrong, and my withdrawal went smooth, they immediately process it.
hotbit was giving a small limit for the account that didn't yet to do the verification. I often use this exchange site to trade. I have been using hotbit so many times and I never encounter a serious problem from there.
The support is also giving a very fast response on the telegram group too. Some people may suspect this exchange site is always listing the crap exchange but so far the service is good.
I don't feel doubt about this.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: this is the time for Ethereum on: November 07, 2020, 04:41:43 PM
look in 2018, Ethereum is able to go to $ 1000 more, and look at 2020,
Ethereum is still very difficult to reach $ 500 even though Ethereum 2.0 has been announced,
don't get carried away with expectations, you have to think about the bad too,
maybe Ethereum 2.0 will not make Ethereum go up, might as well go up.
Ethereum 2017 is totally different from the current ethereum. This time it was growing based on its fundamental like what will be the update that will come for ethereum or big news. It's not so difficult to reach $500 with the help of ethereum 2.0 launch that will occur 1st December.
If ethereum 2.0 will be going so well and that will be a big wave for ethereum. I personally believe if ethereum will go to the moon again.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 06, 2020, 03:04:33 PM
Everything was the best of its time, but now the best method is not used such as ICO, IEO, IDO, STO, but from the project itself. Is the project really legit? If Yes any method will be best.
Yes, but the project developer must also see what trending methods are being used and trusted by many people, because that kind of thing must also be considered to make their project smooth even though they are basically legitimate projects.
That's actually true. Doesn't matter if a project really legit some people still have lingering doubt as to why the project if said "legit" can't use a better method like IEO that guarantees coin listing. Choosing the best method of fundraising could open up to a whole market that makes it worth to try or to choose.
A project should choose the best method.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH2.0 New Update on: November 06, 2020, 08:36:44 AM
I don't think people need to rush to start depositing into the contract for now since the launch is December, the hype would help Ether price initially but people would later discovered it is no event. I don't see this moving the price the way some people are projecting
No harm if the people who deposit already know very well what they are doing. In crypto market no one could predict market, there might be only a minor update to a coin but it could still be pumped and this eth 2.0 is already waited by many since long.
pretty sure that it's gonna bring significant effect to eth market although there's always possibility that's not gonna happen. hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First Halving means boost to Zcash? on: November 06, 2020, 01:31:34 AM
Even bitcoin's halving doesn't do much with the price and I expect it's not gonna boost the price significantly for zcash. unless it's burning the coin to reduce circulating coin it could possibly increase the price by some level.

The halving for altcoins is not the same for bitcoin. We usually hope for a boost every after the halving for bitcoin.
But if it's for Zcash or any other altcoin, we can't have the same expectation as bitcoin. Litecoin halved but with no effect.
We can earn from a short time investment. I believe the halving effect is helping to boost the price. I'm sorry, you didn't notice properly the halving effect of litecoin. Now the price is falling again but it was good for short term profits. If Zcash announcement is correct thank definitely Zcash price will pump for a short time.
Yeah, might trigger flash pump but it's not gonna do much by the long run since this halving have been proposed since day 1 and everyone know that anyway.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 06, 2020, 12:19:46 AM
Same, many projects take years or are dead prior before they get listed proper exchange, at least with ieo's it's guaranteed.
There's always decentralized exchange but to be fair their volume are sometimes not worth looking at. Nowaday there is uniswap though. I personally think that exchange also plays major role in term of attracting investors. That is why so many people eager to get into IEO provided by popular exchange even with the lottery system. But, these IEO still have the chance of getting delisted if they don't perform really well.
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it enough for YFI or are you still waiting for a magical pump? on: November 05, 2020, 02:16:47 PM
It's enough. Assuming that all the people have grown tired of yfi considering the dumping it's probably gonna retain its current value and not gonna go anywhere except down. Sounds a bit pessimistic but money doesn't grow from trees and it seems the money gradually left the market but honestly that's just my thought. I'd consider it's finished tho. But anything can happen since it's crypto market right?
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: November 05, 2020, 09:08:34 AM
Ethereum looks like it will be heading to $ 500 easily in the next few weeks,
it is clear that the chart is showing bullish and good news about Ethereum 2.0 is also available,
if Bitcoin price goes sideways then Ethereum will explode.
Just wait until the eth staked reached really high amount then we might see the market explodes because of eth 2.0. In twitter it;s already a really hot topic and $5 Million already staked within 8 hours. Hopefully the release of ETH 2.0 gonna make our market even greener than it is. A long awaited major event is gonna take some place right here.
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: November 05, 2020, 08:37:35 AM
There are now many altcoins that are cheap in shipping costs. USDT trc20 doesn't even charge a fee on some of the major exchanges. BNB, LTC, TRX, DOGE, DGB are some altcoins that have cheap and fast shipping fees but it all depends on the exchange used. And for other altcoins there are cheaper ones, but their weakness is that they are not listed on many exchanges.
True, literally other coin that's not top 3 charge relatively cheap fee. I sometimes also don't understand why some people really need to fuss about fee when the alternative are like hundreds out there with good liquidity unless someone has multi million asset and want to cash it out altogether. USDT trc20 is seriously life saver amid the astronomical fee charged from eth in my experience.
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB Holders - What do you do with your BNB? on: November 05, 2020, 06:53:46 AM
generally for fee discount. It also could function as a way to participate into the IEO but actually not that much of use for me personally so usually I just use it as safehaven for temporarily storing my money or an alternative than using eth which recently has some crazy high fee. It's quite good but one thing that's a huge turn off for people who concerned. it's just as you know more centralized than other coin.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal might issue its own cryptocurrency soon, says CoinShares exec on: November 05, 2020, 03:37:24 AM
Paypal could issue their own token, I have no issue about it, but I think will likely be a security token because for now they have no product just exploring he space and the main question will be will it be tradable on exchanges like Binance, if yes then it would bring alot of new money to the space
Probably the kind of stablecoin since these kind of big companies aren't really intersted on making profit based on volatility. I do agree that Paypal as of now is still just trying to explore and see if there's any potential in it. Whether the answer is yes or not we'll find out when they invest more into their crypto project.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happens to those DeFi project now? on: November 04, 2020, 04:10:46 PM
just like usually when the hype fades the demand will just get normal and there'll be no such thing as people selling it overpriced since the supply is much more many.
But, honestly nothing that significant gonna happend. Most of Defi projects are indeed using the name "defi" to market themselves but they are quite good enough to stand using their own system.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hurray! Binance did it again on: November 04, 2020, 02:04:24 PM
This is good. Actually if they keep doing thing like this and being all responsible while succesfully recovers the scammed money on top of that they will easily gain more trust. I mean I know I'm stating the obvious but the fact that they did this far and manage to recovers the fund is some serious commitment. Hopefully other platform follow this example and the funds delivered back to the rightful owner.
Though it should also be a serious concern for binance to take some measurement within their Smart Chain.

1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new drama has started in Altcoin on: September 06, 2020, 12:02:47 PM
even stock price fluctuates a lot! it's such an obvious thing that an alts that has significantly lower market capital, more vulnerable to manipulation could become more volatile if compared to stock. heck, even money is actually fluctuates every hour but average joe just doesn't care.
the alts will always fluctuate even in the far future ahead except stablecoin which actually isnt really stable so just embrace it and accept it. You need to consider also that alts perform relies heavily on the project development.
