1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't venture into something you aren't completely sure about. on: September 05, 2020, 12:08:16 PM
ETH switching to PoS could definitely bring disaster for small scale miners since ETH is what they have been mining ever since years ago but there's always alternative coin to mine but buying graphic card or any other mining rigs isn't really recommended considering that so many big players out there are the one who gain the most and small fry miners are gonna get crushed.
Mining is profitable only if the competition is not so tough and the difficulty is not too high otherwise just switch to other invetsment.
1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 04, 2020, 02:33:31 PM
you can still set the fee at minimum but don't expect it to be confirmed anytime soon. the fee dictated based on the transaction that needs to be confirmed and how much most of them pays nowaday. it's by any means not dictated by centralized party or such.
some exchange might set the fee higher just to make sure that the transaction they send gonna be confirmed regardless how long it takes rather than giving a cheap fee and got the transaction returned. it is what it is and don't expect the high fee to go away soon because i doubt it will.
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many listed coins on exchange without volume, any reasons? on: September 03, 2020, 01:53:22 PM
Maybe you are looking at a rather unpopular small exchange? because most of the coins that are listed on popular exchange such as binance usually meets the required minimum volume and if not they got delisted. there are many crappy coins out there that has no liqudity or volume but the one that listed on popular exchange usually have good liquidity and majority of them aren't that hard to liquidate. Also, new coins tend to struggle when it comes to liqudiity but if the devs could succesfully promote it they will have enough volume.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 03, 2020, 08:40:37 AM
What are the chances that Vitalik's developer team will release some sort of fork that will make the network a bit more scalable before the launch of ETH 2.0? Or we will have have to ride a high fee phase until 2.0 launches?
Slim to none maybe. Considering that they are already busy with ETH 2.0 which takes so many delay until today they don't seem to have any solution to the problem we face as of now and UNISWAP is gonna be a long loong time before the hype fades and traffic from them didn't flood the whole network. The current ETH is literally unbearable with all the high fees even in my opinion we better off without the 2.0 as long as the scalability issue being resolved otherwise it's the same condition as now.
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and Elrond Gold Comparison gas fee. on: September 02, 2020, 08:20:08 AM
LOL. The main reason Ethereum fee significantly higher because the price of its token and how crowded the network was. Elrond market cap far below ETH don't let me started talking about how Ethereum is currently overflooded with so many transactions by the recent hype. Give elrond as much transaction as ETH and the fee will skyrocket aswell.
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: September 01, 2020, 10:09:55 AM
While working on the project for more than 3-4 weeks, the hunter gets confidence in the project based on the development and other project-related updates. If he or she feels that it is not worth holding, sell the coin. Even in this situation, hunters cant blame for price dump because 1% or less than that dump should not cause much impact to price. Projects like Cartesi, Sheng, SPYCE show potential for the future and are good examples of it.
But it doesn't always shows good result at the end of the day. Indeed you can't really blame it all on bounty hunters if the prices were to be dumped and all since the allocation for bounty might be only a few percents from overall allocation. But selling those small percent at the same time might do the deed which could also make the price in decline even just a little. It's another story if the project had a solid price and a good market demands and everything.
Yeah. but, nowadays bounty rewards released gradually also some of the projects have switched to use stablecoin instead to control the price. if the project is solid as you said there would be many buying demands coming and fill up all the sell orders. it's actually a project with relatively low demands that suffer the most because there just not enough people to buy and you need to know that although bounty hunter might contribute the developer have total control over the distribution there the developers could do some designed distribution to lower the chance of dumping.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEFI là lư do cho phí tăng vọt? on: September 01, 2020, 08:17:28 AM
The reason is that DEFI projects are being traded on DEX platforms being hunted by people, uniswap's transaction volume surpassed $ 400 million yesterday and surpassed even coinbase. On an exchange where people find a way to own tokens through Pre-sale at the best price, the competitiveness is very high and they are willing to spend a lot of GAS fees to quickly own tokens. I hope in the future Ethereum will optimize this problem.

The problem is those who have been trading at the uniswap wanna make their tx to be delivered as fast as possible through increase the fees to make their tx to be included into the fastest block.
The pre-sale was not giving a lot of contribution to the increase of tx fees in ethereum network.
And the fact that they want to transact faster causes the transaction costs to increase? That comes from demand, and as demand grows, miners will prioritize those who pay more fees to make transactions faster.
Ok, I got the point.
Well it's basically like a race. when everyone want their tx to be ahead and get confirmed faster than anyone else they will set it higher and then another will follow that path thus the increase in fee. it always like this when at bullish times or when something big happening like cryptokitties back then same thing also happened.

When bitcoin reached ATH back then in 2017 the fee is astronomically high that people switched over to alternative coins. I guess that's always the problem with blockchain and the system need some kind of solution to that.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum overpower Bitcoin in the future? Which side are you on? on: September 01, 2020, 07:44:24 AM
as long as most of people sees BTC as the most precious crypto ethereum not gonna over power btc. when everyone thinks about crypto they always remembered of bitcoin and not ethereum. If Ethereum could change that mindset world wide then sure it can overpower bitcoin but near in the future I can't see that to happen although I do agree that the changes in crypto market is so rapid.
There are for example many coins out there making some new innovation but can't overtake bitcoin position for one simple reason, because bitcoin is branded as the most precious currency and when comparing to ETH it's like comparing gold to steel considering how much gaps it has by each coin prices alone.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: August 27, 2020, 08:26:20 AM
I haven't seen a government that's powerful enough to ban crypto, it can never be banned, judging from past bans that occured in crypto space it shows that those bans aren't effective at all, some still use crypto in those countries that crypto was once banned
If banning really happens it might give significant effect though only when the punishment is heavy, otherwise it's not gonna be that effective and internet activities is really hard to trace.
But I'm sure that most of countries know that crypto is a technology that's inevitable and even if they did ban crypto it will still lives on.
I mean, just see how piracy still going on even after so many goverment attempt to reduce it. Not to mention the third world countries that usually weak in law enforcement and you should know that bitcoin is different than piracy whereas using bitcoin or crypto you are not making other people losing money.
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: August 27, 2020, 07:49:48 AM
Do we have to linger in regret?
sometimes what we plan to do is not in accordance with reality, what we sell actually soars and what we hold down actually drops.
I honestly don't want to remember the past because it hurts so much dude.
LOL exactly, you just never know whats gonna happen in the future and regretting it will just waste your energy. I mean its just something that we have no control and no matter how hard we work if we got bad luck then we gonna be the losing side. Not to mention that it could be psychologically bad for our mental health and many negative effects.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: August 26, 2020, 08:05:31 AM
There are many crypto token listed in coinmarketcap and been traded in top exchanges like binance, Yobit and lDex exchange which people consider as proficient enough in the cryptocurrency market and knowing well that Eth is ranking number 2 position in the coinmarketcap, let's discuss Do you think that any new crypto currency overtake Eth in times of price value can that be possible?
If ETH has not been able to deal with the expensive transaction fees, there may be other options for new cryptos, but I am not sure to see a new crypto replacing ETH, but I think BNB is more worthy of replacing ETH, unfortunately BNB is only being promoted for people who hold BNB , never used to be promoted to all communities so they lack community
the expensive transaction fees are just temporary. it's always like that when blockchain is overcrowded you might think BNB and any other will always have significantly cheaper fee but once they are crowded like ETH their fee will increase aswell. it's always like that in crypto since confirmation takes time.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: có thể cryptocurrency đánh bại mới ETH trên thị trường? on: August 26, 2020, 05:22:24 AM
What is your idea? As far as I noticed you are referring to their market cap. Maybe their value in the market doesn't match the value of the technology, but now I see Ethereum having a lot of problems related to transaction costs. Ripple is good at payments, fast and reliable.
Ethereum whole problem will happen to any other crypto that is truly decentralized. Same thing happened to bitcoin because so many people making transactions back in the days at 2017. Ethereum got that too and trust me if Ripple or any other cryptocurrencies got flooded by the traffic they will face the same thing.
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: August 26, 2020, 03:06:57 AM
I suppose that crypto ratings which are released by different countries has highly subjective and it doesn't reflect market right. I just beleive on ratings of neutral agencies
That's most likely. there's always difference in how they usually rating a crypto and whether it's from legal perspective or any other. It's up to the people to choose which crypto rating that is deemed to be trustable.
I'm myself would never trust them though simply because I'm overly skeptical of anything like that.
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of transferring money on the Ethereum network is too high on: August 26, 2020, 02:59:28 AM
Recently, I've noticed that the ethereum network has an oddly high fee. I was involved in buying some cryptocurrency on Uniswap and it cost $ 2-6 last week and $ 10-20 for trading today for transactions of $ 100 and up. There are some larger transactions and there are much higher transaction costs. In addition to the high cost, I have to wait up to 10 minutes to complete my transaction. If I continue to bear such high costs, I could go bankrupt before paying back my investment on Uniswap.
Gas has dropped a lot since last week, last weekend I moved $ 150 and had to pay more than $ 8 for gas fees. That's really a huge fee for using ETH. Luckily the gas has dropped and now we can comfortably move tokens or ETH. Btw I think the gas increased because investors need to use ETH and they need to participate in Defi projects.
the cause of gas increase is simply the network being too overcrowded and peolpe are racing to get their transaction confirmed first by increasing the gas. whether the traffic comes from defi or another source it doesn't matter the most important think is that ethereum need to implement some new things to prevent gas increase when the network become overcrowded because tbh if they dont, Im not gonna expect it to grow larger and have bigger userbase.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: August 25, 2020, 12:48:31 PM
Apart from the obvious things like greed and lack of proper research there are just too many gullible investors and scammers are taking advantage of them. Too many investors want to make quick money.
Usually the people that have no idea about how investment work and those naive people who think they are the chosen one and when they invest they will make it big but the reality turns out to be quite the opposite. Thse kind of people are endless and I don't expect the victim of scammer to significantly reduced anytime soon.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is worth to invest in dogecoin? on: August 25, 2020, 12:25:49 PM
Well!! Did you know? Dogecoin has gained a lot of popularity in the crypto space, as a lot of experts like Elon musk, vitalik, and john McAfee have shown love and support for dogecoin.

On the other hand, experts predict that dogecoin price will rise high in the upcoming years.

What's your take on dogecoin?
It has been one of the oldest coin in the market but personally i do not see any real value in buying and holding dogecoin because there is not much going on about it. It is just a coin and nothing else so I do not find it as an attractive investment.
Well doge is a meme coin and whether it really have value or not in the eye of people atleast doge could be utilized for sending money and with their relatively cheap transaction fee.
I've known many people who uses doge for sending money and have no problem with it. I guess that alone already explain why doge still exist until today.
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: August 25, 2020, 11:45:07 AM
I think this altcoin run has made it very clear that as long as you invest in projects with good fundamentals you can get very good returns even more than Bitcoin and I believe we are only starting.
Obviously, the profits that altcoins bring will be much more than Bitcoin. But the risks of altcoins are huge, not all altcoins are successful in this market. Only a few really good altcoins are profitable for investors, and most of the rest are scams.
I mean it's always like that even in stock market aswell. it's high risk high return but I definitely don't recommend that. so many people are expecting the high return but most of them can't accept when they lost their money so it's better to stay away from pump and dump alts if people don't want to risk their money for literally nothing. bitcoin and ethereum prospect is already much more than promising anyway.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: August 25, 2020, 08:29:27 AM
Short term period, No. However, the market is difficult to speculate and there are even new projects coming out that show a lot of potentials that could possibly replace those who are currently at the top. We never know what could possibly happen in the market and what innovation or  services can developers create.
That's true but considering how Ethereum was built from being a platform used by the masses to create projects and many more it's kinda hard to imagine any coin overtaking ETH in term of popularity.
But competition is always good and if some crypto happen to have the capability to compete with ETH I hope they are better than ETH.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: August 22, 2020, 04:34:56 PM
Please there's something I really want to understand about this crypto industry because at times as a newbie in this cryptocurrency industry you might get this wrong by making more mistakes in crypto. Does crypto name really matter before it become successful?

Name does not really matters.. If name really matters then, bitcoin cash should be the 2nd largest cryptocurrency. Simply because its name is related to bitcoin's Name. And Bitcoin is the largest cryptocurrency. But BCH is not even top 5 according to coinmarketcap
Name does matter. if BCH wasn't even got its popularity from hard forking btc it wont be a thing and none of us would know that this coin exist. the fact that you know BCH today is simply because it has gotten its popularity by using the name bitcoin on its HF and simply tailing bitcoin popularity. name does indeed matter in crypto market unfortunately,
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MEW transaction stuck for two days on: August 22, 2020, 04:12:02 PM
the network is really crowded and it seems you think you are already setting the gas high enough but maybe youre following the old gas price and therefore makes your transaction stuck. this kind of case you just need to wait it's gonna be succesfully sent or your money goes back to your wallet. youre not gonna lost your money.
