881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the dip and Invest in Bitcoin for long term on: June 28, 2022, 05:20:02 AM
Take Bitcoin as a long term investment and just forget it like it’s in a long-term investment account. Don’t let your emotions get too much into it else you might make the wrong decision and sell at the wrong time. The  best thing you can do is to not look at it, even if crypto is going up or down. That’s exactly what I do especially now that it’s dipping, I don’t want to stress over it because I believe if I hold and wait patiently Bitcoin is going to rise again.
My all time investment strategy is buying more when crypto is dipping, holding and selling back when it increases. In 2020 I bought ethereum when it was $700 and sold when it was $4000 in 2021. Within 2020 and 2021 when the price was going up and down, I decided to ignore the dip and hold on to it till I eventually sold at a good price.
This is the right time to buy more cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin because the  more people come into the market and increases their demand for it, its value continues to grow rapidly.
You shouldn't completely ignore the dip. I mean, you should instead try to take advantage of the dip. During the dip, try to invest as much as you can and keep holding to maximize the profit. Can't invest? Then don't sell. Just hold, sit back and relax. Look at the charts and you will see that the price in the long run keeps on increasing.
Another reason not to ignore dip is because disasters that might happen like Luna. Sure, bitcoin is never going to reach that state (or it might when something that no one ever expected happens), but still you shouldn't completely ignore the dip.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your recent altcoin investment and why? on: June 28, 2022, 02:19:09 AM
There are so many investment in the crypto space, as for altcoin investment, I invested with my funds with Luna Projects but got my account liquidated when the project dip and many investors and traders in the space lose most of their assets to terra Luna. Perhaps, I already placed a new investment with GMT in the past months, bagged it around June when the price was 0.957, then sold it when it hits it's ATH price which was 1.11. By then, I've already trigger my sell price. The project is a solid one and have great potential to explore in the nearest future.
Anyone that didn't exit the market and was hoping luna will recover had made the most loss. At least you liquidated whatever you had. Smart move.
But why GMT? The price literally gets pumped and dumped. Huge risk to hold it. And what makes you think it has a solid feature? It is just another "do something" to earn that has no use case and will eventually die with the hype.
883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China warns Bitcoin is heading to zero on: June 24, 2022, 06:35:27 AM
Of course they are going to warn people that bitcoin is going to head to zero. They don't like bitcoin, so they will try their best to stop bitcoin and other crypto currencies to become a mainstream currency. After all, if they do become the mainstream currency, China will be in a serious disadvantage since they have fully banned the usage of crypto currencies in their country and focusing on their own digital currency. All they are trying to do is eliminate their threat.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing projects before launch on: June 24, 2022, 03:32:27 AM
What platforms or websites do you use to track projects before your ICO? And what criteria do you use to invest in them?
Is ICO still a thing? I thought they were dead already.

Anyway, you can find about completely new projects through this forum announcement thread, on reddit and other social media sites. Some googling might help you too. I am sure there are platforms that announces such upcoming projects. The only thing is that you will end up most likely investing in a shit or a scam project. Why take such risks while there are already well known casinos?
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you trust a gambler with your money/savings? on: June 24, 2022, 03:28:26 AM
True life Story.
A friend i know recently narrated to me how his business almost collapsed due to trust he had for another of his friends who he thought he was helping by recruiting him to manage one of his Retail outlets. He narrated how having put him in charge of that point started observing a decrease in the the profit from there intended for savings and reinvestment. He confronted him severally to know what the problem was, but his friend attributed it to being ill and needing drugs, until one faithful day when he ran into him in a betting shop during working hours betting on virtual football games, how disappointing!

-snip-
Don't want to be rude here, but I think your friend needs to reevaluate how he should run his business. He hired him to manage his outlet. That doesn't mean that he can take money from the business and buy medicines... I mean, if he wants, he can pay his wage upfront to buy his meds...

True life Story.
-snip-

Questions for discussion
- Are gamblers eligible to hold financial positions?
- Do problem gamblers deserve a second chance to hold a financial position?

1. No. I wouldn't hire someone who is addicted to gambling.

2. Sure, but only if he tries to help himself get better.
886  Economy / Economics / Re: You win or you learn. on: June 23, 2022, 05:17:40 AM

1. Money management is very important. It is better to have some plan than no plan.
2. Opportunity will come again and again so do not FOMO.
3. Anything could go to zero no matter how big the project is(Luna disaster).

-snip-

1. Obviously money management is very important. But i would say it is better have a no plan than have some random bad plans (investing in shitcoins).
2. Wrong. Opportunities won't always visit you again. There will be a time where you missed something that will never return. You will never have the opportunity to invest in bitcoin when it was only a dollar or two. You won't get another opportunity to invest one dollar in shiba inu and become a millionaire overnight. But yes, you shouldn't FOMO.
3. Anything can go to zero, but there are projects that are very obvious that won't make it. People did warn about Luna before.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Government Owned Online Casinos What Do You Think Of Its Potential on: June 23, 2022, 05:11:50 AM
The Covid is still here and we are still in a pandemic, I have a topic where Macau is struggling to keep their casinos open despite the spike in their country

Macau's Casino Operation Continues Despite The Latest Outbreak

What do you think if these countries or cities that totally depends on their casino for their revenue to keep the economy floating launch their own online casinos, there are already online casinos based in Macau or a country where land casinos are government-owned but it's privately funded what I mean is government-owned.

Will they get enough support, will they get a huge slice of the market that is ruled by companies, they have the funds and they have the reputation because they are government who are more established and will be more compliant
I doubt there are any country whose economy completely depends on the casinos/gambling. In fact, I think casino doesn't even affect much the economy of any country as a whole. Yeah, there may be "states" or "cities" that depends on casinos, but never a country as a whole.

I don't think it would matter to anyone if it is government owned or a privately owned casinos. People will play where they feel comfortable and has more provision and facilities.
888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every "Bitcoin is Dead Headline" is a Buying Opportunity on: June 23, 2022, 04:56:06 AM
A declaration by Binance CEO- CZ
I cant agree more with this man, when other people are busy shouting "Bitcoin is dead", CZ is saying that that is the best time to load and reload your Bitcoin bag, every dip is a buying opportunity but its rather sad that many people dont understand this, they want the price of Bitcoin to just keep going up and up, this is not possible because what drives the price of Bitcoin is not some algorithm but people, real people, its just like in a debate where majority carries the winning vote, your action on the Bitcoin market determines what your vote is, you buy, your vote goes to buy and the higher the buy votes, the higher the price goes.
On the other hand, you sell, your vote goes for sell, and the higher the sell votes, the lower the price goes, then the good news is that the lower the price goes, the higher the opportunity to cast your buy votes because at some point, the buy votes will always go way higher than the sell votes which means price will go really high and then you who casted your buy votes when every other persons were casting a sell vote (thereby dragging the price down), will get to make good profit.
-snip-
If someone invested everything he could afford to lose every time we hear or read an article that says bitcoin is dead, he would have been a multimillionaire by now. Just google "bitcoin dead" and you will see thousands of such news and articles that gives some bullshit reason why bitcoin is dead. Happens when the price starts to crash. News or articles like those attract more users, both investors and non investors. Some investors panic, others don't give a damn. And the non investors are happy they didn't invest and "they knew this would happen", buy months later they regret.
889  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible that all cryptocurrency will become regulated? on: June 22, 2022, 03:54:30 AM
Not really. The true decentralized currency can never be regulated by the government. The only way they can regulate crypto currency is through an indirect way. The government can take control (regulate) those centralized exchange, wallets and crypto currencies. So anyone as long as they are not using those centralized institution or interacting with fiat currency will be able to evade those regulation.
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador loses more than half the value of its reserves in bitcoins on: June 18, 2022, 04:11:07 AM
So you buy a house, the market crashes, do you go around saying that you lost half of your value? No. Why? Because you haven't sold your house yet to realize the loss. As long as you haven't sold anything, you don't lose anything. Your 1 BTC you are holding is still 1 BTC. You will only lose if you sell anything. So El Salvador hasn't lost anything since they didn't sell anything. The media is just trying to cause a stir and show that El Salvador made a very bad decision. After all, news/articles like those attracts the naysayers.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have 5, 12 or even more coins? on: June 18, 2022, 03:56:35 AM
It is better to invest in 1 coin rather than having 5, 12 or even more random altcoins or shit coins. If you are thinking about investing in altcoins, then do something like this. Put most of your money in bitcoin and the rest in some well known altcoins. Like 2 or 3. Do your own research, look for coins that are well established and has a strong community and development team. Invest in those and keep holding till you reach your profit goal. And if you want to try your luck, invest just a little amount (like 1% of whatever you can afford to lose) and gamble with your luck.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Problem, Is it Possible to be a Thing of the Past? on: June 17, 2022, 11:49:53 PM
The self exclusion thing is going to help someone a little, but I doubt it is going to do much. As long as they self exclude themselves with their balance locked, it would be helpful. But other than that, it makes no sense. They could self exclude themselves. Two days latter, they will want to play again, they will take their funds somewhere else. Or maybe create another account in the casino and start playing. Who is stopping them from doing those things?
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any kinds of altcoin gives constant rewards? on: June 17, 2022, 11:47:06 PM
I wanna know

In my view, new trend is coming,

plz give any info !
What exactly do you mean by constant rewards? There are altcoins that you can stake and receive those coins as a rewards daily or weekly. Have a look at those coins. ADA is one of them. You don't have to lock your ADA. Just hold them in your own wallet and delegate it to a pool. You can spend your coins whenever you want. You receive your rewards after each epoch ~ 5 days. There is Algo where you just hold your coins in your wallet and you start receiving rewards.
The new trend is earn to walk or something. I would suggest to ignore those. Those trend tends to die very fast. You will end with nothing.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FLOKI (Floki Inu) good to invest ? on: June 17, 2022, 11:37:55 PM
Hi guys do you think FLOKI good to invest at current price ? do you think

it can increase with X10 or more ? and is it possible to get listed in Binance ?

I t seem that this is a famous project and have big community but the price looks very low

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/floki-inu/

https://twitter.com/RealFlokiInu
Another meme coin with no use case. Sure, if you want to try your luck hoping that binance will list them one day and the price will skyrocket, then yeah, go ahead and invest some of your money which you can afford to lose in floki inu. But don't go all in, or you will end up regretting. And once the price go up, the best thing to do is pocket the profit and leave.
Why invest in meme and shitcoins when you have bitcoin and other well known altcoins?
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dealing with ISP block on Gambling websites on: June 17, 2022, 11:25:51 PM
Hello there,
I tried accessing TrustDice today, which is one of the first cryptocurrency casino's I've been introduced into, but it wouldn't load, claiming that "Connection is not private". I thought something was fishy at the moment, but quickly realized that it was actually blocked by my ISP.

How should I deal with such an issue? I certainly thought of using a VPN, but I only have a free one, meaning that it could easily be used by another person on the website simultaneously, which could potentially lead to a ban. Stake and Fortunejack are also banned, after making a few guesses, Roobet still works fine.
If the casino provides services to your region/country, then it would be safe to use a VPN. If there is an option to verify your account, then verify your account first. This way the chance of getting banned is almost zero, as long as you aren't doing some fishy stuffs.
Contact support and let them know that you will be using a VPN and explain the reason. Let them know your account is verified and they will highly likely whitelist your account.
896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies: Don't panic and learn to hold on: June 17, 2022, 03:55:16 AM
-snip-
Don't predict the bottom, just do Dollar Cost Averaging or Averaging down to accumulate more Bitcoin. We're as a Bitcoin enthusiast are looking for long term, not short term or instant profit by pump & dump of shitcoins. Also there's nothing wrong to diversify your investment, but make sure you're diversify to other assets/commodities e.g. gold, silver, bonds, real estate etc, never diversify to shitcoins since it's worst than Bitcoin.
You don't even need to do dollar cost averaging. Just invest as much as you can afford to lose and sit back and relax. When the price goes up, if you feel like you need to take the profits, sell and enjoy your gains. If the price keeps on falling and you don't need the money, just hold and wait for the market to recover. You have some extra cash lying around that you don't need, then invest those money during those dips to maximize your profit. Even when the price goes up, you can invest those money. You don't need to wait for the dip. Better to invest than to keep those money in bank which eventually loses value in the long run.
897  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to make a telegram live betting group… on: June 17, 2022, 03:51:16 AM
I think many channels offer that, but most of the groups that I see are either paid or some special invite necessary to access it. Paid groups are somewhat sketchy because of the "claims" they have, and that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to produced stuff. I think another betting group or something is also reselling it. Repeating signals all over, and I think I saw that, but that's mostly with signal groups for trading.

Thanks for your invitation. I do think it's nice to have a place where you can share bets or something.
Most of those free and "paid" betting groups are scam. Like 99% of those. They just do random predictions or like you said, copy pastes "signals" from other group. The free/trial groups are for baiting people. They give 1 or 2 correct prediction, people think they are legit and then end up joining their premium group which is filled with nothing but stolen/useless signals.

Not worth joining those groups. Do you own research and place your own bets!
898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting Bitcoin for your business just like Tesla: Report on: June 17, 2022, 03:48:41 AM
I have never paid in bitcoin in any physical store but did use it for making payments/buying online. It was easy, fast and simple but sometimes annoying when I had to wait for more than 20 minutes for one network confirmation (unlucky). So imagine trying to buy a cup of coffee but you have to wait more than 10 minutes for the transaction to settle. That would be annoying. And let's not talk about what is going happens to the fee when the network is overloaded. You don't want to pay a huge fee for a dollar and an a half worth of coffee. Lightning Network might be the solution to these issues though.
899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Huge Down from ATHs. what will happen the next ? on: June 16, 2022, 04:49:40 AM

Information posted my Watcher.Guru https://twitter.com/WatcherGuru/status/1536369486152060930?t=iEd5355q_Gl1MR8uNB-xKA&s=19

Cryptocurrency is now in a big crashing. And whole crypto marketcap now under $1Trillion. What will the next? and How long do you think it will take for the market to recover?
Nothing new. The market reaches ATH and then a correction takes place. The price falls, it recovers and then a new ATH takes place. What will be next? No one knows. The price may fall further, or it may stick to the current price for weeks or it may start recovering tomorrow. You are asking questions that no one can answer. People are only going to guess or speculate what is going to happen next. Don't take any decisions based on those speculations. Right now, if you can afford to invest, then invest. Buy the dip and maximize your profit.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is alternative cryptocurrency meeting up to it expectations on: June 16, 2022, 03:14:47 AM

But in recent time there have been some shortcoming from various projects who walk away with investors' fund and abounding the project, but taking into account some new development that has performed well in both NFTs and the matter verse bringing into virtual reality making the proof of stake chain advantage to the environment and so much of what have you. What future can we see from the alternative cryptocurrency industry?
You mean some shitty altcoins/project that ends up scamming people who invest in those project to get rich real quick despite other people warning them that it is a scam project? Most of the projects where the developers walk away with investors fund has a lot of red flags which some people points it out, but yet others keep on investing in those project with the hope of getting rich overnight. All they do is gamble and encourage more such scam projects.

All coins other than bitcoin are considered altcoins. Altcoins are here to stay. There are some good altcoins/projects that actually has some good potential to offer something new. As long as they keep on trying, it's all good as they will eventually succeed. But yes, there are also lots of projects that eventually fail. As long as they had good intention, I wouldn't call them scammers.
