901  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: August 19, 2023, 05:39:14 PM
Hi, i play in the stake, cloudbet and much more in the past and i have never be hacked.

That's not much of an argument. Does that really prove anything? Not much. There's always a first time for everything...

Thousands of people have BC.Game accounts and have never been hacked. If there was some security glitch specific to the bc.game gambling site, you wouldn't be the only one affected. So, if you really got hacked, I'd suggest checking elsewhere for the source instead of pointing fingers at the platform without concrete evidence.

But do not slander, your words are empty.

No matter how much money you've invested in purchasing those fake shilling accounts, you're seriously mistaken if you believed this strategy could actually fool anyone on this forum. Give Telegram or Discord a shot - maybe your luck will be better over there.  Grin
903  Economy / Gambling / Re: Opinion on crypto casino project on: August 19, 2023, 02:44:00 PM
It sounds great when you say that you believe in building a casino hand in hand with the players, but the , why not make it fully decentralised? I don't know, maybe this is not technically possible, or unviable from the point of view of the business, but if you managed to create a truly different service, it could be a boom.
Simply because it turns out to be unpractical from the players point of view. The main one in my opinion being the transaction fees every time you want to play. If we're looking for a high quality customer experience then centralised is the way to go.

I don't really consider transaction fees as a major problem. There are blockchains with free or very low fees. However, we've already discussed several other relevant issues before. Take domain purchasing and hosting, for instance. No matter where you acquire a domain or host your website, your casino site will come under regulatory scrutiny. Or it will simply be blocked or shut down.

I truly believe that if we manage to build a casino hand in hand with the players, we can get it off the ground without a large amount of capital. Then in order to scale it will require more capital but online casinos are renowned to be substantially profitable which means you can bankroll your growth without relying on external funding. You're right I thing opening a new thread might be a better idea if I want feedback from the players on what they'd like to improve.

I'm not totally sure it would work out that way. Imagine you somehow pull off creating a functional online casino on a tight budget, and, by some stroke of luck, you actually draw in new players. Well, now you'll require capital to handle potential big wins. Think about it – what if, for instance, a player bets $100 at x99 odds and strikes gold? You'd need a bankroll of at least $10k and more to cover that kind of win and stay in the game.

That's why I think that starting an online casino without a significant amount of capital is a very bad idea, unless you're aiming for a quick and risky adventure rather than a sustainable business.
904  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: August 19, 2023, 02:12:05 PM
Here's my theory. I don't know if you have seen a Black Mirror episode, "Smithereens", but what's happening here with Betnomi might be similar to the events in that episode, namely: you create a big and very profitable business, make a lot of money, and decide to take a rest in some remote place with no mobile or internet for 2-3 months. Unprofessional? Very much so. But humanly it can be understood. It may be a lifetime opportunity to spend couple of months like that. You are making big money, but you've noticed that you can't rest peacefully, you are always getting phone calls and messages needing your attention, even on holidays. So, one day ypu decide, I have to do it at least once in my life. You put everything on auto-pilot, take your family and friends, and disappear for a summer.

I have to say, I am not a businessman. I'm just a regular guy trying to understand this world. Smiley
Lmao. This is one crazy theory. I have never seen that TV show, but I heard about it and my interest in it has risen thanks to your example. Anyway, I don't think the same happened with Betnomi.

Why would some of their employees delete telegram messages if that were the case? They just bolted plain and simple.

As I said, they "put everything on auto-pilot". Their employees are doing what they think they should be doing, but they can't contact the board to check if it's right.

Haha, you're one persistent dude! But seriously, where on earth do you even find employees willing to work for months without getting paid? I'm curious! Also, deleting customer comments asking about their money with no explanation? That's a total scam company move!

It might be not him. See above.

He is still active on Telegram. See above.
905  Economy / Gambling / Re: Opinion on crypto casino project on: August 18, 2023, 11:22:46 PM
While building this decentralized casino, you'll encounter some challenge like chosing the best blockchain the casino will be built on and this will limit the participants that'll want to use your exchange because there's a division in the community of which blockchain is the best.

You can also decide to make the casino a multi chain casino that you can connect using all the decentralized smart contracts, I don't know if this is possible yet but this will give you more advantage than using only one blockchain as you won't get the users of the other smart contracts.

Trust is also going to be an issue since nobody knows the founder of the casino and it isn't liences so if you can escrow a backup funds that'll be used to pay your customers if anything was to happen to the casino funds as a result of hack then people can trust your casino.

You've covered all the important stuff about the challenges of making a fully decentralized casino. I want to add a bit more to this.

Let's talk about domains and hosting servers. So, while a decentralized casino could, in theory, do its thing entirely on the blockchain using smart contracts and dapps, it still needs a place to put up its website for players to get in and connect their wallets. Now, the issue with hosting and domains is that they're kind of centralized systems. This means they could end up being affected by government rules and regulations, which isn't ideal.
906  Economy / Gambling / Re: 0xBET | Crypto Casino 🎲 Sportsbook ⚽ Fast Payouts ✅ on: August 18, 2023, 05:05:08 PM
Hello everyone, it's been a few days since we launched our page here on Bitcointalk, thank you all for giving us a warm welcome. This is the first time we've ever experienced communicating with customers in this way, so it's still a bit of a learning curve for us. We would be happy to hear your suggestions or feedback about our casino, and we will do our best to help players with any problems on the site.
<...>

No need to stress. I think you're doing a good job. Just keep your cool and don't feel rushed to respond with too much emotion. Every new venture, especially in the gambling scene, tends to attract a bit of skepticism at first. You'll gradually get used to it. Talking to customers here is definitely a different ball game, and there's a learning curve for everyone.

Remember, when it comes to addressing questions and concerns, a composed and thoughtful response goes a long way. Being open to feedback, whether it's praise or criticism, is a solid strategy for fine-tuning your casino's offerings. Wishing you the best of luck with your casino venture!
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: August 18, 2023, 11:55:56 AM
The gambling age in my country is 18+, but his mother is insisting that he must stop. What will be your advice for this young boy?

His mother is probably just overreacting. If there is no evidence that her son is stealing her money, there is no reason to accuse him based solely on his side activities. If he enjoys the occasional gamble (provided it is within his financial means), then so be it. Even students who are working hard on their education need a break and some activities just for fun. By the way, how are his studies progressing? If there is no significant drop in his study results, there is no reason to worry. Someone who is addicted to gambling certainly cannot be a good student at the same time.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you will do? on: August 18, 2023, 11:45:39 AM
Yeah, losses are just a regular deal when it comes to gambling, and pretty much everyone gets a taste of them sooner or later. If I ever hit a point where I'm just yawning my way through losses and feeling all kinds of irritated, I'd probably lean towards giving gambling a little break. Sometimes stepping back helps clear the head and bring back the excitement.

Now, there are gamblers that might handle it differently. You've got those gamblers who sort of double down on their usual routine, thinking that maybe if they pump up the bets, luck will finally take their side. It's a bit of a high-risk, high-reward mindset, I suppose. But hey, everyone has their strategies, and for some, it might actually work out.
909  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Whirlwind.money - withdrawals are not being processed ⚠️ on: August 18, 2023, 11:17:13 AM
Yes. I mentioned the unrest here, together with the scam accusations starting to brew.
If that didn't persuade them to do something, then indeed we can talk about exit scam here. Someone who intends to continue business here would do everything in his power to sort the issues asap and not leave it like this.

I messaged them both through email and PM (those were the only ways I could reach out). However, they ignored all of my attempts at contact. Following that, I started this topic as a heads-up for the community and patiently waited for their reply. It was only when they didn't come through with the update they promised while talking to Hhampuz, and after another day had gone by, that I decided to create a flag and give them a negative tag. So yeah, they had plenty of time to say something, especially since they were chatting with the campaign manager in the meantime.

Can someone confirm what "Anonymity set, 572user deposits" means?
Does this mean that currently, 572 users (addresses) have a deposit there? As far as I can see, the last deposit was 4 days ago, does that mean that nobody has used this mixer since then?

That last deposit from four days ago was mine (unfortunately), and indeed, the counter increased by one after that. I am deposit number 572.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dreaming That I'm Playing In A Casino, Do You Have One, on: August 16, 2023, 09:03:48 PM
It's just a dream and doesn't really affect our everyday choices. Loads of people have tried to read all sorts of stuff into dreams, but none of them are true. Dreams are just our brain doing its thing while we sleep. Sometimes it's just tossing around random thoughts, feelings, and memories that we picked up while awake. They don't hold deep significance or foresee the future.

So if I want to fill in my profile data, where is the submit/save button?

Some forms can be submitted without the need for the submit button. This has become a common UI design trend in modern web and mobile applications.
Fill in some details in the form, then navigate away from it. Then, return to the profile to see if the entered information has been saved.

I'm really open to hearing your thoughts on what my next move should be. What would you do if you were in my shoes? Your opinions are much appreciated!
Is it too late to try this?
My suggestion: Everyone who have fund there in the notes, submit withdrawal [full amount], leave nothing. You will get the Letter of Guarantee. Verify the message. The letter will have withdrawal address and anyone can easily verify that the funds were not received. Do not use this address in the future just in case someone get a chance to tell that you received the funds.
If you can prove your money disappeared, you can create a type 3 Flag. And file a claim: minerjones still has $40k in escrow. I'm curious to see what conditions will have to be fullfilled.

So right now you have no balance is showing on your note but you did not receive the coin too?

That's right. I created a note, deposited funds, and then requested a withdrawal to different addresses. Whirlwind executed all these steps without any apparent issues, and now my note's balance displays 0 BTC. However, the coins never actually arrived in my wallet.

I am trying to withdraw funds for several weeks. But when I try to open the site it shows to me like the mentioned images. I think it is happening only to me as I could not find out any post like this.
What is the solution of it?

The clearnet domain of the website has been down for around 2-3 weeks now. The .onion version is still functional from my end. Which version did you try to access?

Does not work for me, say's can't be reached. I'll wait for official announcement.
Let's hope for fast reply, bros

I assume you know you need a Tor browser for .onion sites? You cannot access them using a "normal" browser.

What was the number when they started their service with this address?

I think it's hard to say in exact numbers. This thread was started on March 28th, but I doubt they had any real clients right from the beginning, unless they were promoting their service through other channels. So, I presume most of the transactions during that period involved their own funds. As of the start of April, the address had accumulated a total of around 3BTC.

918  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Whirlwind.money - withdrawals are not being processed ⚠️ on: August 15, 2023, 11:11:40 PM
It hurts to get your funds stock somewhere because of the inconvenience it might have caused you as a result of not getting the money when needed. But there is nothing that could really be done right now rather than just waiting for a positive response from them, as they assured Hhampu to get things working again in the next few hours, which is near. I will just have to advise you to be patient and wait a little longer if withdrawal is not processed. At least the team should be able to come in and clear the air with a detailed explanation of the matter at hand if it's something different from just being far from the authorization access.

Thank you. I hope you're right.

I've got my note's public address, the Letter of Guarantee, the TXID for my deposit, and I can even sign the address I used to deposit if they want. Of course, I don't know how to prove that I didn't get anything back since they haven't made any transaction from their end.
Hopefully you don’t have to do that, but it’s quite trivial. You said have a signed LoG saying you withdrew X BTC to the address Y, all you have to do is post the note and everyone can see through a block explorer that your address hasn’t received the coins.

Yes, you're right. Luckily, I've saved both LoGs - one for my deposit and another for my withdrawal.

decodx, In your case, I would be patient for a while longer, considering the last communication between the campaign manager and the Whirlwind representative. Take into account the possible time difference, so accept a maximum waiting time.

Still, all that they told Hhampuz didn't happen. I didn't see any variation on their exchange wallet, as no deposit was processed, nor any post here on the forum. They didn’t answer my email, or process any mining reward payments (those are totally off chain).
Given the amount of scrutiny they are facing, not ideal.

Honestly, I was a bit surprised when I saw that Hhampuz decided to resume the signature campaign and suggested that everyone can put their signatures back up. This is despite the fact that the Whirlwind service is still non-functional, and there's a risk that using the mixing service could result in money being stuck on the platform. But of course, I don't really know who he's talking to or what he's been told to assure him that everything will be fine. I just want to point out that I haven't received any response from them so far, and I find it odd that they're communicating with the campaign manager while ignoring their customers.

<...>
This Letter of Guarantee is useless I think if you are talking about the Letter when you deposited.

BitcoinGirl.Club I completely agree with both of your points. Regarding their withdrawal method, it seems like they wanted to emulate ChipMixer, although it seems to me that CM did it slightly better.
You are also right about the Letter of Guarantee. Luckily I have both, but it wouldn't have been like that if I hadn't requested a withdrawal and the balance on my note disappeared.

Bitcoin is a universal system, we need to find another word for 100 sat  Smiley

What's wrong with µBTC or microBTC? It's a part of the universal SI system.
Also, it's not accurate to say that in the SI system everything is just a multiple of 1,000, since we also have deka and hecto, as well as deci and centi. So, we can refer to 100 satoshis as 1 hectosat.

Take into account the possible time difference, so accept a maximum waiting time. You certainly have every right to ask for your money, it's somehow especially bad when you lose money that you entrusted to someone. Regardless of whether it is $100 or $5000 or even more.
I didn't use their service after the introduction of anonymity mining, but are there any traces that you can use to prove the last unsuccessful withdrawal? In case of a refund from a third escrow party.

Thanks. I didn't use their "anonymity mining" feature either. All I wanted was to mix some coins that I use to pay for certain services, in order to enhance my privacy, just like I've done in the past.

I've got all the evidence, and I sent it to them privately because I didn't want to put it out in the open just yet. I've got my note's public address, the Letter of Guarantee, the TXID for my deposit, and I can even sign the address I used to deposit if they want.
