It seems the lowest multiplier I can set is 1.02x and the highest one is 9850x.
Instead of showing "Error: Invalid multiplier.", I think you should mention the valid range instead.

thanks, Noted, I am working on things at the same time... I will fix it Smiley

907  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 04, 2014, 10:23:23 AM

yes, I was just testing it to buy a ticket and it works like a charm, today there is plenty of places where to spend Litecoin, more than what Bitcoin had last year, beside I think that Litecoin's price will grow bigger and faster than Bitcoin's price, it is more likely that we see LTC @ $50 than BTC at $5000

Hal finney once said:

The danger is if people are buying bitcoins in the expectation that the price will go up, and the resulting increased demand is what is driving the price up. That is the definition of a BUBBLE, and as we all know, bubbles burst.

sadly, he was right about that, I think we are all spending too much time in the speculation forum, calling for bubbles and waiting when a new bubble will occur!!  many of us visit only this sub-forum, I my self do, a as an IT guy I should be ashamed of that, instead I should be spending time trying to give something back to this community, maybe try to offer services... anything will make the infrastructure stronger, except speculation and waiting for a bubble.

I did quit my job mainly to be more involved with this community, to make something that counts for, but I've been wasting my time and making worthless arguments about worthless subjects instead of doing something helpful.

try to spend less time on here and do more thinking about how to make Bitcoin a better experience.

conclusion:  this year Tesla motors stock so far did better than Bitcoin ... 2 innovations, one is being more embraced than the other, which is really interesting due to the fact that not everyone can afford a Tesla car.

I like Mike Hearn, he is a talented Developer and most importantly an objective one.

what is happening @BTC-e shows us how fucked up these business owners they can get sometimes, in a normal fair world, the Admins notice the unusual activity from this bot and they coordinately ac, one way is by blocking the API access temporarily to prevent the bot from losing all the owner's money, I am sure the owner would be really thankful and the positive impression would be felt and reflected on all customers, but because this is Bitcoin and BTC-e we are talking about, they don't give a fuck and they are sitting happily watching the poor guy losing all this kind of money.

Are there such "lifeguards" in the common stock exchanges?  I would guess that their "terms of service" say that they will not be responsible for client screw-ups, not even to the extent of refunding their fees or blocking them.  If they did help some clients, it would be hard for them to draw the line ("sorry, but your mistake does not qualify for refund because it was not stupid enough").

they do halt account trading for many failed login attempts, they do ban accounts for above frequent API calls, they do ban IPs sometimes for stupid reasons, so why wouldn't they ban an API key for unusual activity ?

if someone failed with his own trading bot why should the exchange bother to bail him out?

bailing out a customer and preventing a customers from losing due unexpected/malicious activity on his account is not the same, now everything else depends on your morals.

So let's call out everyone that said they were buying if we dipped to $480.  Cheesy

Why buy now, according to fallling we can have free coins sooner rather than later.

You do realize that falling has been the one voice of reason among a bunch of permabulls here who in concert scream "buy more and hold because loosing money is great and the price will surely go back up"?

Perhaps with the right major crisis the nations will accept the GNU World Order but I don't see that as likely.

Now consider this:

* LTC is traded at $4.855
* The total supply of LTC will be 4 times that of BTC. Thus, the price LTC should be 1/4th of the fair price of a BTC
* 4.855*4 = $19.42

 Huh

your logic is flawed, your logic is flawed even if Litecoin should be valued like Bitcoin.

Just a reminder this is wall observer not war observer ok.

Everything has an impact on the price movement, not only Bitcoin but of everything, beside the thing they are talking about is really serious, what is happening now will define how the world will look in the next decade, so it is really important and dangerous at the same time.

To be honest, I survived the Algerian civil war , I came to live in Slovenia and did sense the tension of left overs of the Balkan war, but I have been never afraid and confused as I am now, I have a feeling that we are going into a 3rd world war, and the fact that I have children to worry about makes it even scarier.

Rest in peace.

I never met him, and he doesn't know me, I live in the other part of the world, I came across this story a year or so ago, but he left a big place in my heart, and I find the timing depressing... while people are taking that ice bucket challenge, Hal passes away.
