921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of psychological tricks that casinos use. on: August 20, 2022, 11:14:57 PM
Though these psychological tricks are present in an actual casino, I wonder if there are similar tricks or different methods where they can integrate this kind of thinking in online casinos. Do you guys also think that there are any psychological trick/s that are adopted in online gambling casinos as well?
With online casinos it is quite hard to read the user minds. With real Casinos everything is visible and face expressions itself more than enough to understand a person's situation. With online casinos only thing that can be done is triggering. Whenever we search something related to gambling then onwards Google keeps suggesting things related to it. In such a way gamblers might get triggered to gamble and such tricks as real casinos can't be made effective.
922  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 20, 2022, 07:08:15 PM
I think both men and women have an equal chance to succeed in entrepreneurial enterprises, because not all women and men are the same. You get clever open-minded men and women... and also men and women that are struggling.  Roll Eyes

There are a lot more factors to keep in consideration to determine if someone will be successful or not... and you cannot simply look at a persons sex to see if they can succeed or not. (Example : Drive / determination / skills / experience / funding resources etc....)  Wink
I don't know the reality happening with majority of the women. But I came across an interview in which a women described about the difficulties she have been experiencing just because she's in a role to allocate work for employees. Looking at the gender, many have treated her bad. So, when it comes to Women entrepreneurship there'll be more difficulties. Women need to prepare herself and be ready to face everything, only then it'll be good and possible to go high in the men dominant sector.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: August 20, 2022, 08:49:39 AM
I don't know why you guys are underestimating Qatar national team, they have developed very well in the past years. They are the winners of the last Asian Cup where they knocked out South Korea and Japan, and defeated Saudi Arabia in the groups round. I watched all their matches, they showed high quality performance and great commitment in the field. I know Wold Cup is very different competition because they will face teams from other continents with different playing styles, and Asian teams were always the weakest, yet I believe Qatar may do something.
I certainly do not underestimate the Qatar National team. Even though it participated in the World Cup as the host i think all the teams in this organization are valuable. Also we should not forget that the Qatar National Team is the Asian champion. Asian teams consist of weak squads but Qatar National Team can get good results in the Cup with the advantage of being the home team.

Since the announcement of 2022 FIFA host Qatar is into hard training. Already they're the best among the Asian teams and it is one amongst the country to spend big on football. With FIFA the home team advantage won't give hands, but it helps in keeping the players cheered. Qatar have got more local players as well as large number of football leagues. Qatar too will be a good team than a host team.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 20, 2022, 07:28:51 AM
India have won the toss and chosen to bowl in the second ODI against Zimbabwe. Indian bowlers are in good form and this could make Zimbabwe's scoring. In 3 overs Zimbabwe was able to score just 1 run. In today's Match Prasidh Krishna and Siraj have opened the spell. No big changes with the Indian team. Shradul Thakur have come in for Deepak Chahar. For Zimbabwe two changes.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 20, 2022, 01:38:55 AM
Finn Allen lost his wicket at 96 runs to Jason Holder. Finally New Zealand ended its batting with 212 runs losing every wicket at 48.2 overs. The performance from New Zealand isn't to the expectation. West Indies have started batting. West Indies have lost the wicket of Kyle Mayers, and reached 8 runs in 3 overs. It looks like West Indies playing slow game to avoid further fall of wickets.
West Indies managed to win the first ODI match quite well. Today, New Zealand set a target of just 213 runs. Finn Allen scored 96 runs and Daryl Mitchell scored 46 runs. Santner was unbeaten on 26 runs. Besides, all the other batsmen in the team have batted very badly. If West Indies don't lose wickets very quickly then they can win this match very easily. The West Indies players' only aim should be to survive at the crease.
West Indies stumbled at the start of New Zealand's target of 213 runs. West Indies lost 2 wickets by 11 runs. I think the West Indies team will not reach the target because the West Indies team is much more chaotic than before. However, no match result can be reviewed without seeing the end. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
West Indies lost the fourth wicket for just 23 runs. Is it possible for the West Indies to win this match? The first four batsmen of the top board have returned to the dressing room. Two of them returned to the dressing room for zero runs. If Nicholas Pooran can play a big inning then maybe the match will be a bit competitive. Otherwise, I will not be surprised if West Indies loses all wickets before 100 runs.
It is impossible for West Indies to collect 100 runs now. West Indies lost their sixth wicket by collecting 27 runs. And at the end of 13 overs, West Indies collected only 37 runs. Keacy Karty is now at the crease. However, West Indies batting looks like they will lose all their wickets before they can score 100 runs. We have seen such unprofessional batting from West Indies players in the past.
For 63 runs West Indies have lost 7 wickets. The result of the match is going to be based on the DLS method. The rain delay continues. Cariah and Hosein are on the crease with 20 and 3 runs. The interesting thing Hope and Carty have scored 16 runs each. King and Pooran scored 2 runs each. Mayers, Brooks and Holder lost their wickets without taking any runs.
926  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: August 19, 2022, 11:58:06 PM
Whether it is entrepreneurship or day job, we need to work passionately. With entrepreneurship along with passion we should also have hard work. Without hard work things won't workout. We might see people succeeding through smart work, and the same won't happen with everyone. So, while giving hard work we should analyse whether smart work gives hand.
927  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin bear market over? on: August 19, 2022, 11:54:01 PM
I don't think the Bitcoin bear market is over, the current rally isn't a sign of a bullish market but rather a relief rally wherein the market recorded a temporary uptrend.  I do agree with one of the earlier replies that it would be considered a Bitcoin market when the price of BTC surge almost continuously.
Yes, what we experienced is the relief rally. Right now the market have taken the movement between two points. If I'm not wrong this trend continues for a longer time period. For now it is the time for the traders to make money out of the regular price fluctuation. The trend change will have a indication of price movement that gets driven by a large margin.
928  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: August 19, 2022, 11:47:19 PM
Through different surveys it is being described that adoption of bitcoin have failed in El Salvador. We don't know how far this is true, on the other side the government keeps adding more volume of bitcoin whenever there is crash in the market. At some point people will get used to it rather than opposing. At the beginning the users don't have much of understanding and that could've made them use the Chivo Wallet balance of $30 and stop using further. This will slowly progress when government find the right way of providing awareness.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: In your opinion is this the end for Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency? on: August 19, 2022, 11:34:02 PM
I don't know, why such questions arise with you people. Even when the price of bitcoin touched the ath there were scams happening around bitcoin, there were money laundering with bitcoin, there were illegal transactions and more can be said. By that time none thought the bitcoin is towards its end. Now without any reason why this thoughts were arising. People need to educate themselves.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 18, 2022, 12:48:00 PM
Netherlands just wasted all the hard work that was put in by Bas de Leede and Tom Cooper. From 8/3, they progressed to 117/3, but after Tom Cooper got out their batting collapsed again. Now they are at 129/6, with de Leede still there with 47 from 72 balls. But he is running out of partners. Scott Edwards and Teja Nidamanuru scored a total of 5 runs between them and now Netherlands is down to the tail. Will be good if Logan van Beek can give some support to de Leede, so that he can get the Dutch to a total above 200.
Logan van Beek gave support facing 28 balls. By the time Leede was able to score little runs. Finally ended his innings at 89 runs. The team could've scored 200+ runs if few more players have contributed little to the score. At the beginning I thought that Netherlands will end the innings within 150 runs. It is a good score to the early loss of wickets.
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 18, 2022, 11:14:43 AM
Good work by the Indian bowlers. Target is 190 from 50 overs. Contributions from Richard Ngarava and Brad Evans towards the end took Zimbabwe to a decent total, but it is not enough for a win. Regis Chakabva was the only other batsmen who could score more than 30. Indian bowlers were all impressive without any exception. Deepak Chahar looked really good, coming back from an injury.
The bowling unit wasn't expected to perform big, but the Indian bowlers made a big thing. From the beginning the wicket fall kept Zimbabwe from scoring big. Until thirteenth over two bowlers were into the spell. The swing out of the new ball from both the bowlers were good. Among the first four wickets two were keeper catch, one is to the slip and the other is a lbw. So the swing truly helped. Further the spinners did their part and today it is Indians completely dominant.

BTW, Netherlands got a good start in their match against Pakistan. Two of their best and on-form batsmen are at the crease (Bas de Leede and Tom Cooper). They are playing without 7 of their county-contracted players and therefore I am not expecting any miracles from them.
Netherlands is at 128/6 after 29 overs. Once after the wicket of Cooper two more wickets have fallen. Now Bas de Leede is the only player who can add little more runs to the innings.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will get more demand on: August 15, 2022, 09:29:30 PM
By the time of merge it is predicted to have a dump in the market, and we don't have exact answer for that. Any form of changes can happen. According to me, there is more chances of drop in the market value and gets pushed. Once after the merge I believe that ethereum will get more real-time usage similar to bitcoin. So, further we'll get into discussion of some country officially adopting ethereum as the legal tender.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is TRON dead? on: August 15, 2022, 08:39:45 PM
TRX is really good coin as well as have got increased usage against more and cryptocurrencies. The market haven't experienced any big price movement over the years. This had been connected with the team, but there is no big change in the market even when some key changes were made. Tron is into big criticism because of it lacks rise in price. According to me it is a potential asset, and the growth has delayed.

FIFA have banned two players for involving on doping. El Salvador forward Erick Alejandro Rivera tested positive for steroid clostebol and banned from all matches until Oct. 5, 2025. Sabri Ali Mohamed of Djibouti tested positive for testosterone suspended until Jan. 11, 2026. After a long for players have been found of doping. This will be a warning for all the players into the FIFA.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 15, 2022, 04:40:19 PM
If Ireland wind this match then they will win the series and if not then the 5 match will be worth watching. The way Irish team has played in this series I guess the chances of them winning this match is also good. But, it is T20 which means highly unpredictable. If Afghanistan wants to win this match then they need to bat first and set up a good target for the Irish team.
Toss has been delayed as the weather was cloudy at Belfast and it was raining there. The rain has stopped now and the weather looks better. It will be hard to predict the winner of this match. I'm going to choose Afghanistan for this match. The odds is 1.47× for Afghanistan win. In my opinion, batting first won't be a good decision in this field now. The outfield could be slow as it is wet.
Ireland have won the toss and decided to bowl. The rain delay had made the match to cut 9 overs on each innings. Now this is an eleven over match. Afghanistan have started well scoring 17 runs in the very first over. If this way of scoring continues we can expect the targeted to be around 120 - 130 runs. Match results seems to have close results.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: August 15, 2022, 02:52:04 PM
According to the data from coinmarketcap polygon have reached an ath value close to $3. On an average the price of polygon is predicted to reach $10 by 2025. During the same time period it is predicted to reach $50+ value if the growth is high in the market. According to the co-founders the goal is to reach the third position on the market after bitcoin and ethereum. The market is always uncertain, we can predict but we can't be sure of reaching $20.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CHINA is against the crypto But JAPAN is Supporting crypto echo system . on: August 15, 2022, 01:39:28 PM
China holds the dominance during the early days, because most of the early adopters of mining operations were from China. Even after the ban it is found that China miners active on the network. During those days it had the control to manipulate the market, and with time mining operations got spread around. This has happened after several issues arising with the country in terms of exchanges providing fake trading volumes to attract users and later scams them. So many issues got arisen and finally ended with a complete ban.

Japan from the very beginning had a much friendly approach on cryptocurrency usage and acceptance. The days of its legalized usage caused a big bump in the market. It always aims at standing high in technology adoption. That seems to be the major reason for providing support for cryptocurrency and bitcoin usage within the country when more other technology driven countries opposed it.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your General Feeling After Playing In Casino In the last 10 session on: August 15, 2022, 12:37:41 AM
Being entertained is the goal of both casinos and players but when we gamble we bring with it our character if we have a risky behavior chance is we become compulsive in our bets and decisions if we are mature guys we become responsible and treat gambling as another form of entertainment, gambling should not hone us, our education outside of casino should be our guide in everything.
Agreed, but this will not work with common gamblers like me. This might be the truth with majority of the gamblers. I get into gambling with a limit of $10, this initially turns to be a small amount and I won't think of it. When the same continue for few days it turns to be a big money. By now the mind thinks why don't we recover what we've lost. This is where things happen in the opposite way. Some find lucky whereas the majority end up losing mory. It is not much about greed, but about the pain of losing.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: Why aren't people utilising cryptocurrency payment methods? on: August 14, 2022, 11:44:52 PM
I was once interested in paying with bitcoin and eth when I saw an online shopping site, but unfortunately when all shopping lists were collected and the time to pay me canceled because of the transaction fee of more than $ 5, I think the classic problem of Bitcoin that could not be resolved was a more expensive transaction fee if compared to free bank transfers.

The price of Bitcoin transactions really goes down compared to its tx fee years ago.  But yes it is quite expensive compared to zero fees of bank transfers.  Comparing the fees, and the transaction confirmation, it is really a disadvantage using Bitcoin payment methods since we spend more than the intended price of the item.  Aside from that, we might regret spending BTC for payment if we see the bitcoin market skyrocket.
This is a reason, and the important thing is that people aren't much aware about it. Even now it is possible to see people who doesn't have the access to banking and use fiat. They never knew how to make use of cards, by that time we're taking of cryptocurrency payments. Maybe in the upcoming few years of time we can expect a big change as slowly people are getting aware of the existence of cryptocurrencies.
940  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of BTC ever hit $40k again? on: August 14, 2022, 11:41:51 PM
We might experience $40k in the upcoming week. We don't know how the market movement takes place. This is the reality of the bitcoin market. There is sign of bullish movement and this can make some positive changes in the entire cryptocurrency market. If something big as an adoption or some big corporate network makes a entry we can see a massive change in the price.
