I know absolutely nothing about mining or the technical side of crypto currency.
I have BTC and love what it can hopefully achieve.
Can anybody offer an explanation of the point of all these alt coins? Do these new coins compliment BTC, are they superior in some way, or is it competition?
Would it not be far better to pooling all knowledge and making BTC achieve greater things, considering it is still very young.
Surely, getting the general masses to adopt BTC is a mammoth task, having all these other coins offering whatever it is they have would totally confuse anyone not familiar with crypto currencies.
I am confused. Do we really need hundreds of crypto currencies this early?
Well most are just made to pump and dump and make a quick profit on. Nothing more nothing less. |

It wasn't me about the bug. They paid normal and good but the last bank en the last deposits I didnt get paid. Look at my stats at Makebtc, beetje2007. You can see I sold over 10BTC levels but received only 1 BTC. According to the site it should be 50% so thats makes 5BTC of the 10BTC sold. And I think you are right with the stealing of the big early players. I think the site will be down in a few days. At least I hope so, so other honest people will not be 'caught' by mister Makebtc....
This is what usually happens. They just need to keep stringing people along for as long as they can. In the meantime they can do what they like with the funds they've recieved. |

A coin is going to have to come along that is really innovative to get anywhere close to Bitcoin's crown, but if one did come along I could easily see it overtaking LTC to become second best.

I donīt have many btc and i believe in the crypto currency.
Every time i sold ( trying to rebuy cheaper ) because most of the topics where talking about capitulation, China ban, Russia ban, etc, etc, etc, finished loosing.
This is why it's risky trading this way. You might get lucky, but if the price ever skyrockets and stabilizes at that point you'll be left out and unable to buy back in. |

Bitcoin is already backed by "the network". But you knew that already. You just wanted to promote your coin right?  Shhhhhhh......It is the sole purpose for creating that account.... lol. Are they really calling it NoFiatCoin? I don't think Bitcoin should be backed up by anything other than the miners and the people that use it. |

In my opinion NXT is a completely scam, same with Quark.
It makes no sense why Quark is even in this conversation. Quark was NOT pre-mined at all. It might not've been premined but it was essentially instamined. |
