Let's see if he's willing to destroy the additional coin. If so, that says a lot about him and how he feels about the future of this coin.
My idea to destroy the extra premine is to send the 1,750,000 to Poloniex and tell them to give away ONE coin per account. It'll take years and add to the fair distribution of the coin.
Or just figure out how to burn them.

is that true there is 2 millions premine (2% of 100 millions) ?
That's a concern
Yes we own 2 Million. I'm willing to invest in this coin (I am a huge investor) if you destroy enough coin so that it is 2% of 12,500,000 POW. But 2% of the total 100,000,000 is insanity and this coin will be dead. Nobody should have 2 million of this coin.

Is the premine on this 2% of 100,000,000 or 2% of 12,500,000?
Thank you.

This has been fun. I just finished increasing my DRK position by about 1/4.
Did you guys know large companies like Yahoo and Google will buy up startups whose technology that have no real interest in? Any idea why?
For the software engineers at those companies. They understand that a good developer is literally worth their weight in gold.
You invest in the developer, not the coin. And Evan hasn't gone anywhere. In fact, all of this has made me believe in him that much more. Being able to remedy this situation has simply proven his ability that much more.
I'll leave that buy wall at 182 to see if it can help stabilize things.
Thanks for the cheap DRK.

Buy some DRK if you want but dont bet your house on it. Mandatory hard fork tomorrow to remove masternode payments, we have a long way to go before there is resolution, not to mention darksend and new feature delays for weeks or even months.
Wait, I thought we ended up doing the emergency fork this evening? Am I mistaken?

Perfect, thanks! Either post your BTC address or PM it to me. If you'd prefer DRK, do the conversion (I'm lazy) and let me know what it is.

First person to provide me with a link to a dated post where the masternodes were announced will get .025 BTC.

As an investor, I'm just not comfortable adding to my holdings until I see that it is fixed and like issues won't crop up again. I MAY liquidate a little of my holdings to reduce risk, but need to sleep on that one. I still believe in Evan and thus DRK, but this was certainly a major setback today. Those who plan to utilize DRK in the future need to be able to trust in the network. If I'm not comfortable with it, then they certainly won't be.
Don't agree with this because misbehaving MNs can be banned. Just like in bitcoin, misbehaving peers can be banned. If it's an easy fix, that's great. I simply want to see it in action and have a stable network for awhile before I bring additional cash from the sidelines.

The developers need to treat this as a MAJOR coin and employ professional level communication and management with the community helping the process. If you are not going to treat your own coin with respect, no one else will.
Agreed. When you have this sort of marketcap, I want to see the little issues cleaned up before major additions continue. For example, there should be an extremely streamlined process where, when a new wallet is released, EVERYTHING is updated properly within minutes. The front post of this thread, the website, etc. The official website should never have mislabeled versions.

Strong buying which is interesting to me. I suspect it won't last but I've been wrong before.
I'm still holding my main stash, but I'm not buying at this point until we have a better understanding of how this may change the fundamentals of the coin. Obviously the masternodes are a potential network weakness and I want to know how that is going to be remedied before I'm a buyer again.
It may not necessarily be an actual attack on the masternodes itself, but rather some clever engineering on data on the blockchain. Either way its caused a major problem and hopefully it can be addressed once we can figure out what the source of the problem is. Aye. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if someone and an exchange were on the wrong fork, that person sent in coin, sold it, then withdrew, couldn't they end up with BTC and the original DRK and screw the exchange?
That's the only reason I can think of for disabling accounts.
You are right. Mintpal can stand to lose a bit of the money they've been making with their housebots. Any proof they've been using housebots?

Will all the coins i mined since the fork become invalid?
Depends which fork you were mining on.

Both my unsyncying wallets are now synced on .11

I believe Cryptsy finally figured out it would be wise to suspend trading...

Or not. Heh. Crazy...

So some of us just have to accept lost coins...great...
I thought I lost coins way back when BTC forked... Nah. The coins accepted and lost on the fake chain came back when the fake chain went away... There's also this thing called a network memory pool... This Emo Angst is all a result of not bothering to learn how it works. I've got a fuckload more money tied up in DRK than anyone else in this thread, I'll bet. I'm not worried. OK, I'm gonna hold out and see. I do get how it works, but it can be hard to keep up with so many changes. But anyway, fingers crossed, I believe in this long term and have some coin on the exchanges anyway. Think of people actually enjoying their holiday weekend who don't even know this is happening, didn't see all the updates... They'll perform one update tomorrow and all will be well... This is my berserker time. I don't get to do it much in this candy-ass weakling soft pussified society... I spend too much time holding back, acting like a clone of these pathetic sheep so they can't kill me with numbers. A slaughter like this is justice, revenge, and the water in which I swim... I understand it as if born to it, because I was. I revel in getting to be what I truly am... Smart people follow my lead even if they're not smart enough to understand it themselves. Seriously dude, I'm not saying this to be mean, but out of concern. Please seek the help of a mental health professional.

Does anyone have a link to the post where masternodes were first announced?

Well, now I understand why I've been having so much trouble lately with those coin movements I posted about on here...
