During all this fork business Mintpal decided to "disable" my account for some reason, going to miss all the fun when they turn DRK back on They disabled my account as well. Strange. Anyone else? They talked in #mintpal irc and said that they disabled accounts that had deposited DRK's while there were multiple forks or something.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if someone and an exchange were on the wrong fork, that person sent in coin, sold it, then withdrew, couldn't they end up with BTC and the original DRK and screw the exchange?
That's the only reason I can think of for disabling accounts.
Yes. Disabled people - did you send DRK to the exchange today?

Don't forget people laughed at thomas Edison. Personally, if bitcoin was released after darkcoin, would anybody care about bitcoin?
Edison was a total crook, he stole other peoples ideas and modified them, he rubbished Tesla's Superior technology, and people laughed at Tesla, who was the real innovator. Likening Darkcoin to Edison is not a good idea..... i didn't know that. Thanks for telling me, but at end of day Edison invented the light bulb. Well thats just it, he didnt invent the light bulb, but he was the first person to make a practical light bulb that lasted, mainly due to developing better vacuum pumps etc. Ok, I see your point. I'm a big believer in working things and that implementation is more important than ideas.

You are right. Then it is a perfectly logical and sensible move from Mintpal. Bravo!

Funny feeling this could rocket when it comes live again, that shake will have cleared out a lot, and that subsequent rally on cryptsy could be very informative...

You are right. Mintpal can stand to lose a bit of the money they've been making with their housebots.

Yes. Disabled people - did you send DRK to the exchange today? Yeah, I had a giant payout of 1.8 DRK sent this morning before the forks were widespread. I figured that was probably what caused this.

Any proof they've been using housebots? They would hate money if they haven't.
