921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: January 24, 2018, 08:13:32 PM
What is interesting in startcoin again is all the enthusiasm and provocation coming from new created accounts. If these people are really new which has tiny chance to be true, then have no idea what they are talking about. They know nothing about history of this coin. All these efforts to make atmosphere suitable for next pump.

This for sure.

Feel so silly for buying a little bit of this coin
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: best altcoins to invest for 2018 ? on: January 23, 2018, 09:49:11 PM
Most masternode coins will do well this year and hold their btc value if btc pumps, they are good price performers because alot of coin supply is locked away, shill mode activated.....

923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 23, 2018, 09:42:22 PM
I am relieved that I didn't buy any of this an get involved. So many peeps were spamming their ref links to me on Facebook it was hurting my eyeballs. I just feel sad for all of those who followed the likes of Craig Grant and Trevon James while they raked it in from the referral bonuses. I see too many internet marketers on Facebook now spouting so called knowledge about crypto as if they are trading Gods and Bitcoin know it alls. They don't give a sh*t about the technology unless it has a referral link shoved on its backside lol

This.

Overall this is why i think bitconnect was bad for crypto, it sucked in sooo many multi level marketing people who were inexperienced and shouldn't have been giving advice...all they cared about was referrals.
Add money also into it. All they cared about too is for their payouts. Craig Grant and Trevon James are both idiots in cryptocurrency. Also add Guerbez who's records are bad because he's been sued by facebook for $800m+. He also constantly promotes this ponzi scheme.

Ya all those dudes are shady, I think Guerbez ruined burst too unfortunately

I will never forget the wildfire these lending platforms created, and i quit facebook years back so i didnt even see how big it got on there.

925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Dragonchain Token Sale on: January 23, 2018, 09:24:29 PM
Is there a place where i can see projects that are coming down the pipeline on drgn chain?

Would be cool to see what companies are being incubated...
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BWK] BULWARK | NO ICO | Masternodes | Accelerated PoW | Seesaw PoS/MN on: January 23, 2018, 08:30:28 PM
I like this project.
But masternodes - it is not very good idea from my point of view. 5000 coins it is aroun 30000 $ dollars at the moment and as result only reach holders will become reacher.

there are shared masternode services available i believe, where you only pay a small % and you will get percentage share of a masternode payout. be careful that you verify the source first !

dont get scammed of course, never give out your priv key obviously

928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: January 23, 2018, 05:35:24 PM
and the monero vs dash infighting rages on after so long....really interesting considering both projects have done absolutely amazing! why keep fighting when its obvious no one coin will win.

aside from that i have become very interested in the idea of DAOs...can anyone point me to any information about the dash DAO and how it functions?
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: January 23, 2018, 04:22:14 PM
stop making scrypt coin, they are dead and buried like sha256 and x11 will follow soon

Amph, funny to be in the future watching what you said in the past, none of these algorithms are dead now, who would have thinked of that?
Does that teach you anything?
Remember the 1994 Internet, and today internet? Many things changed... This teaches us lots of things, i agree we dont have to crazy dreamers, but we can try to be as creative as possible to understand a possible scenario.
Btw, is this coin still alive Dev wise or dead by now?

Salutes

No idea really...all we have from them is a post on reddit about a month back basically saying they are trying to revive the project and have a good team with a ceo who has aparently already launched successful cryptos.....who knows though im starting to think it was all fake
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOBYTE [GBX] - Masternodes, PoW, Secure, ASIC Resistance, & Decentralized on: January 23, 2018, 04:11:50 PM
hello , i'm just a new guy and i have a question here " how do you know when to sell and buy gobyte ? . becuz i'm now hold to die now  Cry.

Nobody knows when is the best time to buy and sell, obviously its best to sell high buy low....

if you are down on your GBX investment just hold, price will likely go back up
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BWK] BULWARK | NO ICO | Masternodes | Accelerated PoW | Seesaw PoS/MN on: January 23, 2018, 03:37:22 PM
I can't believe the returns of masternodes on this coin.
I almost get the impression the whole system here works for the masternode owners.
Not that I'm complaining.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Bulwark masternode rewards are currently only 25% of the block reward. They're expected to increase to 33.3% in a little less than two weeks and then up to 50% approximately four weeks thereafter  Wink

This.

One of the reasons bwk nodes are good investments is because of this distribution model
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ICON - Interchain Blockchain Network / Hyperconnect the World! on: January 23, 2018, 03:20:45 PM
So tomorrow is the day apparently.

If you listen to any given Youtube-channel that discusses coins, it seems that there is "consensus" on the matter of the ICX coin going to $20 or even $40. No reason is given as of why, but that's just how it goes these days, and repeat, repeat, repeat.

I was looking for a specific video of the ICON project, but I had to scroll and scroll down through the (marketing) video's of all youtubers who I bet have a cryptowallet that holds ICX tokens.

It might be just a minor importance, but I just hope the launch of the main net will be successful ^^

It will be fun anyway, because people will go crazy over this as soon as it goes up a few bucks. Including me probably.

There is a lot of hype around this coin, but in the past from my experience releases like this can zero impact on price if the a big move happens in the wider market (like btc dumping).

But yet again you are right that if the price swings just a bit everyone will be shouting that ICX is mooning...
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: January 22, 2018, 08:40:48 PM
"Along with IOTA, Factom was selected for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's blockchain business camp Tokyo accelerator program which matches potential enterprise/financial clients with blockchain-based solutions in Japan."

Office in Japan is very cool! 25 presentations in 2 days I can not imagine ... They are clearly in demand!

Yes, very much in demand, i keep seeing articles and reports about how in 2018 businesses will get more and more into enterprise blockchain solutions. I think factom has set itself up very well in this market, really re-emphasizes how factom could be a sleeping giant.

During this market wide correction i have btc ready to grab some cheap fct.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Dragonchain Token Sale on: January 22, 2018, 08:28:17 PM
I think talk cheap...and they should have there own wallet before launch .
I will drop all my coins if no wallet is available on there platform.

They really dont need their own personal wallet...surely they will get added to a multi coin wallet soon.

Also whats wrong with MEW, its so simple and is more secure in a way.

I wouldn't dump your coins just because they dont have their own personal wallet  Cheesy
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: January 22, 2018, 08:22:04 PM
this coin most be soft fork to block asic
if no dead is coming

there are many mining algorithms that are mined with ASIC miners, the price now seems to be influenced by the general decline of the entire cryptocurrency market, does not seem inversely proportional to the rise in the difficulty, we must give it time I think this would contribute more well to the popularity of the currency and the project itself.

I agree that right now the pice of LBC seems to be following the overall theme of this big correction we are having. Seems like hardly any
coins are seeing significant gains at the moment.

Doesnt the integration of ASICS into lbry make the coin/project more legitimate?

I agree LBC needs time, and IMHO more 3rd party developers, which i feel like will come in time.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOBYTE [GBX] - Masternodes, PoW, Secure, ASIC Resistance, & Decentralized on: January 22, 2018, 08:18:06 PM
I have no problem with a moderated thread either, from my experience the most "kept-up" ANN threads are moderated. Especially older coins, if a coin's price ever seems to do well there is going to be FUD regardless.

I don't think these recent price swings have anything to do with gobyte's team or fundamentals, it seems more plausible to me that
there is more uncertainty in the markets and thats having an effect on a whole range of coins.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BWK] BULWARK | NO ICO | Masternodes | Accelerated PoW | Seesaw PoS/MN on: January 22, 2018, 05:50:44 PM
Several coins have been bleeding out lately, especially the mn coins. Strange becuase normally most of them hold their price to btc very
well.

I would expect prices to start rebounding going into the spring.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ICON - Interchain Blockchain Network / Hyperconnect the World! on: January 20, 2018, 04:58:22 PM
Im also wondering about what the details will be for the swap.

Very interesting project though, notice how quickly ICX recovered to test new highs after the whole market corrected. Shows that there is way more buy pressure on this coin then most.
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: January 20, 2018, 03:51:12 PM
So as of now the Qora chain is stable?

Good to see Crowetic in here im interested in this coins future, i think it could be revived really well. Will give me an excuse to finally get on openledger
Have anyone tried selling and buying bulks of Qora in openledger?
I never used that before. Maybe I will have a try if it works well.

openledger had a problem with the deposit and the payment of qora, you had to write to the owner. It was supposed to be automatic, but it lasts a year;) maybe someone has more information?

hmmm, well maybe yall could try crypto bridge, i really like that one, i think its related to openledger/bitshares.
940  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 19, 2018, 09:49:49 PM
What kind of goals are you looking to achieve that require a sudden >$500k <$1000k, if I may ask.

Looking to cash out $3M USD worth of Bitcorn before March 1 to have it working for me in a retirement portfolio by end of Q1.

Ideally, I'd like to sell higher than lower, but recognize this is a rough season.

$3Mil USD into a retirement portfolio by end of Q1 huh? thats an impressive goal...

may i ask how you intend to get into a retirement portfolio? or how you intend to deal with tax liability?
