I see some nice green candles! However I won't believe for a bullrun until we a day closes with +50%.

943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🥉 MMOCoin 💻 MMO Cryptocurrency 🏆 Tiered POS 🛒 Marketplace soon on: January 06, 2019, 07:54:46 PM
Hello.

Other than trading and staking, is there a working product/service/game at the moment?
At the moment the only thing I can download from their site is their wallet.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 06, 2019, 07:49:52 PM
Great, I like the change to ProgPOW, but it seems it won't be on Constantinople? Or is it not decided yet? I'm confused since I'm not following Ethereum's news very closely.

And lol on the "1:1 backed stocks" Cheesy We don't need another Tether, please!

I am waiting for delegates voting to start to join good ones. It is matter of time when this thread will see huge traffic at the moment at the focus in telegram. To get more people involve and support seekers surely will be looking at this thread to run their campaigns with attractive offers. First phase of Mainnet and guide for nodes and delegates have been released. This is the point things will start to be interesting.

Voting is already active, you just have to use the Phantom wallet though.
The Phantom wallet is the ARK v2 wallet re-skinned and preset for the Phantom chain.

They're working to make voting working from the ARK wallet as well.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Welcome to PHANTOM - Decentralized blockchain ẔINCS on: January 06, 2019, 05:38:09 PM
If you want to connect to Phantom's network through the ARK's wallet, just add a new profile with the following network parameters,

Put as name: PHANTOM
Seed server: https://explorer.phantom.org:8443
Slip44 (Advanced tab): 111
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zealot/Enemy (z-enemy) NVIDIA GPU miner (ver 1.28). on: January 06, 2019, 07:20:10 AM
I downloaded version 1.23 (cuda 9.2) to try it (was on 1.20 previously) and after a random time period usually within 5 minutes, I get these MEGA HASH RATES with MEGA POWER DRAW on random cards, and then the miner terminates.

I also tried 1.28 and am getting the same thing.

Has anybody else had this issue?

I'm running Afturburner with 50% PL on each of my cards with no core or mem increase, intensity 19, using latest nvidia 417.35 drivers.

I googled this issue and got some hits from 2016 with ccminer and using the --plimit option to force the PL on each card.... but it appears that version 1.23 of z-enemy removed the plimit option.

Here's a URL to the screencap of it.

I'm not sure which algo you're mining, but 50% power is too little to run stably. I believe it should be at least 65% but it might depend on the card and on the algorithm.

Congratulations on your launch guys!

I see you've also launched your own Desktop Wallet, is the ARK wallet still compatible with your blockchain? I'd prefer to use one wallet for both.

Also another question: Since I'm not at home at the moment and I want to check if my PHANTOM balance is there, how can I find my address if I have done the claim procedure with my ARK address?
I remember there used to be a tool in your site but I couldn't find it.

You can check your address here https://explorer.phantom.org

I've found the block explorer but I don't know my Phantom public address x)
I was hopping that by using my ARK's public address I can find my Phantom address. Otherwise I'll have to wait until I get home and check my notes, I remember I've saved it.

Guys, why this thread is not getting lot of attention!!!!

Because the team has not bought spammers to keep the thread pumped !
If you ask me, that's a good sign! Smiley

Cryptopia has the ARK wallet still in maintenance and their message reads: "07-DEC-18 - In maintenance until the update to 2.0 is completed. We appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this issue."
I though they were quicker nowadays but I guess the combination of holidays + no extra payment from the dev team pushed a simple update a month back.

I guess Cryptopia doesn't understand that they lose customers because of delays like this, people will be hesitant to trust them.

By the way, nice boost in the price today! The average of all crypto is flat but ARK got +20% and on a strong volume, about 700%-800% higher volume than the average of this week.
I think that's a lot for being a single whale buying, did I miss anything? I know that Phantom went live today but could this spike be thanks to their marketing actions? If that was the case, then that's incredible!
952  Economy / Services / Re: Nexybit, Revenue Sharing Cryptocurrency Exchange Signature Campaign on: January 03, 2019, 08:45:32 PM
It's sad to see you guys stop the campaign.  Cry
You were one of the few worthy-to-wear signature campaigns in Bitcointalk.

I hope Nexybit does well and you'll start a new campaign in the future.
953  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC scam! on: January 03, 2019, 08:42:02 PM
I'm surprised that some people are surprised HitBTC is proved a scam thanks to the "Proof of Keys" day!

I always check an exchange's deposit and withdraw policies, its trading fees, the minimum trade amount and the decimals allowed for a trade.
HitBTC was immediately seen as a scam by me when I checked them a year ago and about 3 months ago I put a review here: https://revain.org/exchanges/hitbtc/review-f44df7d0-bf99-4f41-9c97-a99aac0d243e

The exchanges which I use are (by order of preference),
KRAKEN
Bittrex
KuCoin
Cryptopia

Other than some Cryptopia's random altcoin maintenances which take long to be fixed, I haven't had any issue with the above exchanges.
I'll have to research how well they did during the Proof of Keys though.

Haha, we exposed Revain in March -> https://shitcoinoffering.com/revain-vol-2-pump-kings/  Cool

Verdict
Uhhh. What else is there to say? If some R coins have for whatever reason ended up in your wallet, you’d better sell them at the next peak. Revain is a team of obvious rip-off merchants. If you’re looking for thrills and adrenaline, you’d be better off going to the casino than getting involved with these gypsies. Remember the cinema classic?

This thread is about HitBTC if I'm not mistaken.
And I don't hold any Revain coins, I just wrote a couple of reviews there to see if they'd reward me anything after a while; if they had I would have sold and continue writing reviews but since they did not reward me, I stopped bothering with them.
I just mentioned my review link for HitBTC.
954  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 03, 2019, 03:23:19 PM
@bitserve

I agree with all your points and I'd like you to allow me to add two more point...

Even if there was no fractional reserve and even if all the peoples' money were really existing in banks, we'd have two more problems: security and "precision (?)".
1) The problem of security with cash is obvious, notes can be stolen and centralised digital accounts can be hacked. A successful 51% attack on a widely used blockchain though is not as easy.
2) I can't put a name on this problem but I'll give an example: A bank is holding 10% of a countries wealth in notes. An explosion scattering some in the air while destroys and burns others. What happens next? Do you print the notes again? Do you subtract the missing amount from the bank's own account? What about the notes that went flying? Similar problems in a much smaller scale happen every day, for example having a low value note cut in half or a coin drop in the sewers. I might interpret it wrong but I think that fiat currencies can't work with 0% fractional reserves and money printing, only the blockchain can work without these and still operate fine.

By the way, I'm from Greece, I've been through Capital Controls and we're still under some controls, for example we cannot top-up investment accounts with cards, only through the slow wire transfers.
955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH back to second place on coinmarketcap and overtake XRP again? on: January 03, 2019, 02:51:47 PM
This is the hope of the community, so with Eth's capitalization increasing and returning to his position is the first step to continue to grow.
I still believe Eth will rise and have a high volume and trust to recover.

Could it not continue growing from the 3rd position? Roll Eyes
The position doesn't count as growth, especially if we're talking about 4-5 positions up or down... okay if a coin go from 200th to 100th that's a growth!
But to fall 10% behind XRP and then go 2% ahead of XRP is not a proof of growth.

And one more thing, positions can at best measure competition (not growth). For example ETH could stay still and BTC and XRP do something wrong and fall 80% in one day, making ETH first... is that growth? No, the opposite.
Personally I dislike the competition that exists in our community when we should be working all together... only exceptions being the forks which were the results of infighting (ETC, BCH, BSV), those projects had the right to try compete but since they have failed they should just stop existing... for example I don't know why would anyone support ETC instead of helping ETH push forward... actually I know... it's so they can get the price higher and sell their failed coins.

957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 03, 2019, 12:54:41 PM
i think that the big "unknown" of this hard fork will be the reduction of block reward from 3 to 2.
Right now, a miner who find a block, knows that he will have 3*x, where x right now is 150$, after 01/16, he will have 2*x.

Is it a reason to make value of x higher?

I find this reduction a bit extreme and dangerous under the current circumstances, a slower reduction, like a reduction of 0.2 ETH every 1 month for 5 months.

When I'm saying "current circumstances" I'm talking about the reduced interest of miners and the hefty mining rewards after a big rush to buy GPUs. With a lot of GPUs "sitting" somewhere, it's dangerous to suddenly throw out miners hopping that a price increase will bring them back later on.
I'm afraid of how hard will it really be to attack the network after the fork...
958  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 27-Dec-2018] on: January 03, 2019, 12:20:41 PM
Ehm... this is awkward! A few days after they open 2 spots for "Member" ranks they have now announced they'll be stopping the Signature campaign.
The last payment will be the Monday.

Important Notice

We have been told that the signature campaign will end 1/07. All participants will be paid for their work till then. Applications will be null. We are sorry for the sudden notice. We thank everyone for their interest and hope to be able to work in another form in the future.

Thank you.

<...snip...>

6)  There is zero reason to support designed to centralize shitcoins over physical metals

What do physical metals have to do with anything?
Can I play Axie Infinity using silver? Or can I donate unanimously to an organization sending few grammars of gold through the phone cable? (Though donations are also accepted through BTC... but I prefer altcoins when possible for lower fees)
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK Core v2 & ARK Pay🔹 on: January 03, 2019, 08:25:19 AM
You guys have done a great job with your code and blockchain. I wish we can see some strong collaborations in 2019.
Which kinds of collaborations did you imply in your post above?
Any detailed ideas to build it up?

D-Apps and especially decentralized-games would be ideal to showcase the strength of ARK, that is lower-than-Ethereum fees, fast confirmations and maybe the ability to use multiple coins in the ARK's blockchain through smart-bridges (in case the developers of the app wish for it).
