What is not good is I cannot run smelter efficiently.
How do you use it?
I have heard you should use some amd libraries to make it work better. I dont know if it is true or not, but I have copied
amd_opencl32.dll,amd_opencl64.dll, amdocl.dll, amdocl64.dll
into folder where is smelter. i remember reading that somewhere too, but i'm just using it as is out-of-the-box. sometimes smelter starts hogging CPU, restarting (smelter) fixes that. not sure which driver i'm using, device manager says 15.200.1046.0, though that doesn't match what i have in downloads  anyway it is not the very latest. most likely amd-catalyst-15.7-with-dotnet45-win7-64bit and AMD-SDKInstaller-v1.3.158-Beta-windows-F-x64. hope that helps |

What was that problem? Do you mine with smelter personally? I would have to get at least 10x more hashes in smelter to be efficient When I feel like mining VanillaCoin I get 515mh/s with my 280x with smelter on the latest AMD drivers. The config is different I assume with smelter compared to sgminer. This is my .bat for Smelter: smelter -o stratum+tcp://vnl.suprnova.cc:1111 -u Username -p x -g 4 -W 64 BTW I think I heard that with 270's you get around 150mh/s with Smelter though I could be wrong. Thanks for the config, I will give it a try, but I had exactly the same but different pool.. maybe pool was the problem? Will try it. Anyway, when was the last time you minted VNL and get 10+ from 515 mh/s? Eventhough I am using sgminer with 80 mh/s per card, I have 5 of them in rig so total is around 400 mh/s, which should be at least around 80% of what you mine, but I mine literally 0.2 or so per day. How can 400 mh/s do 0.2 and 515 10+??? Anyone mining VNL right now? What is expectation per 100 mh/s? single GPU (R9-280x) working at pool.vanillaco.in, running smelter @~450mh  |

What is your hash on this card? Do you use smelter or sgminer? Can you place your config pls? i've pushed smelter to 500 mh, but the card was well over 90 deg.C. doing a steady 430 mh @ 85-90 degrees C. the program isn't devoloped to the point where you have many settings to worry about; just use the default config and trix/afterburner to throttle the card also, you can set the mem clock way low, vnl uses almost no ram |

Hi groggin, i use "sgminer -k x13 -o stratum+tcp://fly.suprnova.cc:8417 -u usr.user -p x -I 19 -g 4 -w 64" in the bat file with a HD7950 and the bin-files from Wolf0: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=955217.0 . yes its all on the OP. thanks and sorry for that; it's clear now i need a new pair of spectacles also, tho in the past i've often tried - i've not been able to mine any of the x-(#) algos, the miner usually just crashes. gonna try again here, can anyone recomend a miner, and what is needed in the command line in regards to the algo? thanks again If you use an Nvidia GPU card it is ccminer.exe -q -a X13 -o stratum+tcp://fly.suprnova.cc:8417 -u Yourlogin.you1 -p d=0.002 note I set my password to use a .002 diff or ( -p yourpassword) thanks for the response sgminer did it's usual start and crash, i tried adding --pause at the end of the command-line but it didn't help, this is the .bat i tried - setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 color 0A sgminer.exe --device 1 --remove-disabled -a X13 -o stratum+tcp://fly.suprnova.cc:8417 -u x -p x --pause i'm on win7, using AMD device any help would be much appreciated |

this thread tends to ramble a bit. possibly related to ppl having a good time while serving a broad comunity with a mission to do good. i just recently consolidated my zeits into blocks of 10m, worked very nicely, staking went fast if you have lots of free comp time and would favor supporting the network, make smaller blocks |

I have been messing with my wallet today but the old backup i have does not help me.
I have now got my "corrupt" wallet to sync to 37h left but now i am stuck again.
How do i force the wallet to rescan ?
axiom.exe -rescan if you use a shortcut to start Axiom in windows, r-click the shortcut, hit properties, make the target window text read as the above |

Yeah, to nodes that are randomly chosen from all of those which have the best up time/connectivity/success rate (you have to meet a score if I'm not mistaken). 5% - if that will be the case - isn't much since the average reward drops which occur every 50k blocks are ~16.66% reductions. Also using this method won't skew the emission. dev has stood up for the little guy/average joe since day 1. i think it's gr8 to see |

Yes we seem to have low connections, I can try to host a permanent node and perhaps a faucet if there is some help to keep it supplied.
