941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 18, 2013, 09:01:32 AM

How would it look like if you cancel the order and initially payed with BTC? Will you get back BTC or a bank wire?
Anybody asked?

All refunds if issued were to be in USD. But would be a shit company that now refunds in BTC when the Value is low.

Best thing to do is to not check the prices for a while and pretend it was all just a bad dream.

Sorry, misunderstanding. Value is clearly the price in USD, but how would it technically work? Could they send BTC or do they have to make a bank wire?

The "low" volume scares me...

Hello,

An announcement will be made publicly on our website regarding availability of upgrade modules when they become available.
It has no yet been decided which boards will be released.
It is likely to be BTC payments via BitPay only.

Thanks

well they waited long enough for the crash to hit so their lucky streak continues!!

myself I've 2 neptunes on order to punt or not to punt that is the question (as I watch btc crash in china)

will likely hold on to them ... I'm stubborn oct 18th started mining btc was about 150usd now it is dec 18th ..prob gonna go back to 150usd...well the "paper wealth" was
nice while it lasted

Good thing about this is that now we can concentrate on promoting and earning BTC now. Trading becomes more and more difficult. First Mt. Gox and then BTCChina. What's the next?

What's wrong with BTCChina?

market has been trading on this all day.

So that's what is going on.

Thanks.

947  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sending BTC from bitstamp to BTC-E on: December 15, 2013, 03:31:28 PM
Hi there,

I am wanting to send some BTC from bitstamp to BTC-E, I have never done this before!

On BTC-E it say 'Transaction confirmation on the Bitcoin network can take from 1 hour and up to 3 days if you send it without fee.'  Has it taken this long for anyone? Can I speed it up by adding a fee?  If yes how do I add a fee?

Thankyou very much

Guessing: by lowering the amount?

My 8 board has lost USB connection with the Linux box 4 times now, stopping and starting cgminer 3.8.4 doesn't help, I have to reboot the linux box each time.

Cheap USB hub?

Klaus: Alles klar in China?

Ja, alles klar. Ein stabiler Abwärtstrend. Seit dem 5.12. im 2ten Gang.

Von einem "stabilen" Abwaertstrend zu sprechen wenn etwas jetzt mehr kostet als vor einem Monat...  Shocked Shocked Shocked

Is anyone using Seasonic X1250W supplies for their November Jupiters? I found that after about a minute after bootup (when the Jupiter is about to start hashing), the PSU shuts down. I let the PSU reset itself (takes several minutes), try again, same results. Consistent and repeatable. I tried 2 separate X1250's and 2 separate November Jupiters with the same result.

Obviously 1250W should be plenty, and the Seasonic is a high-quality supply, so I'm not sure what is causing the shutdowns.

I had some Corsair AX860's kicking around so I tried those. They work well and I haven't had any trouble after 24 hours now.

Did you use a high quality paperclip?

Any idea the Chinese yuan could be considered sound enough for reserve currency status, is on life-support:

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-11-25/chart-day-how-chinas-stunning-15-trillion-new-liquidity-blew-bernankes-qe-out-water

When this blows up where will CNY savings flee to?

Assets and or debts?

Both those have already happened. Local asset prices are huge, local debts are huge.

OT. Was just reading this:

"Now I tell you, hao123.com, which was bought by Baidu and have about HALF traffic of baidu.com, now added a link of bitcoin at its homepage and built a special section as www.hao123.com/bitcoin/ !"
"Appears to be the equivalent of Yahoo putting "Bitcoin" in their main navigation menu. The actual page is an information portal, Bitcoin news, howto, etc.."
"Global Rank is 17. http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/hao123.com"

And interestingly enough it's the OKcoin rate they are quoting

I would be able to fund and run a batch of very nice looking miners, complete with plastic housing, manual, shiny box, CE and UL cert and so on. Am in Shanghai, possible to communicate in Chinese.
However I need somebody to do the PCB's reliably without fucking me over.

Anybody interested contact me for details.

Thank you.
955  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: December 08, 2013, 09:31:47 AM
Hi marto74,

I would love to produce a batch (2500 A2 chips, so 156 boards)  based on your design. I need the boards in China and can buy the A2 chips here as well as assembly service . I would love to collaborate, I already wrote you a PM, please get back to me if you find time.

I have a few questions, maybe somebody else is familiar with his design and can help:

* What are the parts on row 37-47 in the BOM, marked with (OPT)?
* Is the PCB and BOM you published the last revision?
* What is it with the capacitors I can see on the top of the PCB, are they necessary? I see boards with less of them populated or even without? Could solid capacitors be used?

Thank you.

Bitte erzähl mehr, wie du normales FIAT da rauskriehst...

Ich lebe in Shanghai. Noch Fragen?

Sind CNY fuer dich "normales FIAT"?
