I like KYC if it involves my money they will gonna hold but totally unlike it if it's too random without prior notice that they'll asked it on you, more so when they press it. The thing is, the government is the true sucker in the first place they're the one pressing it against on players. At certain point, it sure to exists and more and more will follow the KYC rule in the future.

I think no need to be sympathetic naman kasi alam nila risks diyan, ang gobyerno lang talaga gusto hawak lahat dapat walang makalusot sa kanila.

964  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason for the increase in the price of Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2023, 08:37:28 PM
Bitcoin halving is approaching. Also, although the FED is still far from where we want it to be in terms of interest rate and money printing policies, this situation will change. I believe the next bull market will begin this year and BTC will reach its ATH next year.
It's still due at q2 2024 so I think that's probably not the reason but overtime that's what we're believing in. I'd say 2024 it may start and then reaching new highs will be at 2025 but yeah lot of more room to grow the next year, so it's not impossible to reach new heights. Not to be overshadowed by that narrative but in the long term it's really profitable if you have patience.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of the world population involved in gambling on: March 18, 2023, 07:45:23 PM
How true is this?
Well, there are things that supports it like some gambling tools in the past.

This simply means there is no way the world can be divided into two or three equal parts without finding that people gambles regularly and almost everyone is involved one way or the other, from my research on gambling it has been existing right from Origin of man.
I think that kind of the norm, people love to take risks and risking something in return is kinda fun in its own way. I think it can be explained psychologically that man in nature is a gambling man but likely on the side of men.
966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won 500$ on Stake on a blackjack (in 1 minute) on: March 18, 2023, 03:14:33 PM
You can see the video here

I beat the site and take their money
Wow, that's amazing that Stake is bankrupt now because you take their money. lol. You should have keep it to yourself OP or you shouldn't have make a thread out of it, you can share it on their announcement thread instead. Congrats but please take our advices.
967  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PHLWIN Fraud/Scam nga ba? on: March 18, 2023, 01:40:24 PM
Pwede niyong panoorin tong Youtuber na ito na nagshare ng kanyang insights regarding sa PHLWIN
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2Cfo_fmC_Y
968  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xbit1.com - New 1xbit.com management - We will try to solve all the problems - on: March 18, 2023, 10:05:18 AM
As I understood the OP. They are cleaning all the previous scam accusation. It’s useless to clean only the new accusation because all their negative tag is about old issues.
That's a lot of work to do, I wonder if they'll be able to compensate the victims that ranging from thousands of dollars. If it's crypto form that would be a hell lot of money if they'll compensate those from the past when Bitcoin or ETH was still at low valuation compares today. I don't think they'll do it, it's more likely of a hoax especially if it's involve all the issue they had with customers funds.
969  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xbit1.com - New 1xbit.com management - We will try to solve all the problems - on: March 18, 2023, 03:56:48 AM
Well, will this new company solve the recent issues brought by 1xbit or it will include the past issues? I'd say it's uncountable and you'll get a lot of spam and you may get some unwanted or even fake claims. Let's say this is legitimate but I think 1xbit.com should be the one to announce it rather than some new account or just forget 1xbit there are legitimate casinos out there.
970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 17, 2023, 09:04:16 PM
At this point , Kings wining the West is not a dream anymore right ? I know the chances are low and most likely it won't happen but still , this is maybe the best season they had in the last 15 years of franchise and they do have a team that could go deep in play offs.   Smiley
It will remain a dream unless they're closer on that goal or got the ring they wanted. Stats says higher seed teams are likely has the high chance of succeeding into a championship and I think Kings casn still live up to the expectations.

However , for me , Bucks are still the best and strongest team in the NBA , followed closely by Celtics who are having another phenomenal season that could end with another NBA final.
I think these two team will go head to head again in the ECF this season but my guts tells me that Celtics can beat the Bucks.
971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Physical gambling and internet gambling which is more fun. on: March 17, 2023, 08:15:12 PM
When I was growing up, I had a lot of experience gambling on games like:
---arm wrestling
---card game
----PlayStation competition
----dice
----animal racing
----food eating gamble
----playing soccer
And so much more but its seem the world has evolved so greatly and many things we do before, have now been inputed in the internet and its now makes it access alot easier but I had some recent arguments with some folks in my locality that before, gambling physically with people was more fun than doing online in these recent casino that seem to cover all of our old gambling habits but I argued on the latter. So I thought I should drop here and here some of opinion of most advance gamblers with lots of gambling experience.
Nothing beats when it comes to physical gambling or traditional, there are a lot of factors you can win when it comes to physical gambling. Online gambling was more of an anti social part of it but with the essence of comfortability, playing anything you like and it's handy. This might be a subjective one but with a survey on which is more fun, I'd say physical gambling will definitely win.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arb token incoming on: March 17, 2023, 07:19:59 AM
Arbitrum just announced that their raindrop is finally coming on the 23rd of march, it's so unfortunate that after spending over a year and half to make transactions on the Arbitrum chain I ended up with zero tokens for a claim, I ready that the total max supply is 10 Billion, way more higher than Optimism total supply, what do you think will be the highest price target for ARB token and what do you think is the good buying point for the token.
It's not termed "raindrop", it's "airdrop" for your information. Well, we are on the same boat for that, they didn't clearly stated what are the conditions for this airdrop so it's expected we won't be able to tell if we're eligible or not. I think the 10 billion tokens was just an initial supply so max/total supply is more than that. Hard to tell but 0.2 USD something is my speculation.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Random Number Generator and it's importance in Online Casinos on: March 17, 2023, 06:46:42 AM
As a gambler have you ever read up on how the RNG works in online casino games, or do you simply trust that it's functioning properly?
As far as I know it's the tool that makes most casinos online being provably fair. I think I trust that functions properly and not gonna hassle myself to think it's not when I am playing. I just want to play on casinos that don't want to cheat this system so that it won't be a bother if the provably fair system works.
If we use a well-known casino with a good reputation in the gambling business, we do not need to worry because the casino will not deceive its users.
And so far, I have never checked the system because I trust the casino.
And I also believe that the system is already working properly because if not, the casino will not be able to have many members and the casino can get a bad name among other casinos.
We also have the best casinos on this forum that don't cheat users with these things, making us feel comfortable playing gambling in the casino.
Indeed. I don't hassle my time with everything to check their corresponding systems as long as I know they are trustworthy. I tend to sign up on the reputed casinos considering their codes are checked by trusted devs as well in the industry.

975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The journey of successful business man who were professional gamblers on: March 16, 2023, 05:17:36 PM
If one tries to change the destiny he may succeed or fail but he may get a result. But there are many people in the world who only dream inactively without taking any initiative.

But one should keep in mind that gambling is a risky platform. As there are lot of histories of victory, there will be defeats as well. Use gambling money as much as you can afford to lose.
Well, the people that you mentioned probably taken the risk that no normal people could make. Everything in life is about taking risks especially if your venturing involving money, it should have an underlying risk at all. It should have been a great thread if we have to know these gamblers their favorite games to play before they reach this stage in their lives.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Layer 2 and Arbitrum on: March 16, 2023, 04:06:44 PM
Had to bump this topic, it's still relevant I guess (other topics that include Arbitrum seems to just focusing on specific projects on the chain). Well, they release already the criteria on how to be eligible on the airdrop and yes transacting on the chain was necessary. You can check here if you want to know more: https://docs.arbitrum.foundation/airdrop-eligibility-distribution
It's quite surprising to me, considering the co-founder of Offchain Labs once stated that there were no plans to launch an Arbitrum token. But hey, it's a pleasant surprise! My wallet is eligible for 2250 $ARB tokens!
Yeah, they've said countless times too on their discord that there's nothing like an airdrop. Good for you that you're eligible, looks like you're interacting on the chain for quite a time now. Unfortunately, I'm not eligible even though I interacted on it because of the rumors.

That's a huge dump for just $300k exploit, I think you'll be fine in no time if the project really care for the community. There are even millions being exploited and yet they recover, I think Poolz will be doing just fine if they act fast. New token has been made but likely you need to wait for an official announcement, just follow their socials OP.
979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Street Gambling Risk on: March 15, 2023, 08:33:58 PM
Is street gambling safe?
Well, I can say it's 80% not safe but even if you're into some kind of premium casinos safety is not guaranteed when there's something really bad about to happen. Well, depends on the street you want to gamble, before hitting up on someone it's best if you know them well first. The fact that there might be someone who will probably report you to authorities considering you're in public places there is a lot of thug minded when it comes to street gambling.

Street gambling is strictly prohibited in our country but lots of gamblers here still break the law. That's why there were raids and curfews over the streets most of the time. I think this is to control crimes and illegal activities and to mantain peace and safety in the streets both in rural and urban areas. It is not safe for gamblers especially if there's huge money involved. There's a right and legal place to gamble where players could play safely far from criminals who might chase them because of their funds.
Well, it's just lot wanted to end in prison because of that. I do think curfew is a good method but the thing with street gamblers is that they'll find whatever narrow place it is as long as it's convenient for them to play. Usually this aren't that huge money involved but what's scary is that most of it involves some minors.
