It also could be seen as laziness ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Since their product are used by both newbie and power-user, there should be option to enable customizable fees (which disabled by default to make the wallet noob-friendly) There must be some reason, they can't be so lazy lol It looks so easy just to make a button "Customize your fee" , a new text box opens and you can put the number you want.

This is what I wanted to clarify that since trx has shifted to mainnet,So is there any option to store trx in metamax.Thank you for the information.
Just to clarify, I don't think you got it. You cannot store TRX in Metamask. TRX has its own blockchain. However, there was an airdrop to ETH holders in the Ethereum Blockchain, and they airdropped TRX ERC-20 Tokens to wallets with some ETH balance. Those Tokens are not strictily TRX, as they are no longer supported by TRX team, company or whatever they are. But you can exchange those tokens 1:1 on binance. There is no guarantee that binance will continue to do so, or that binance will even exist in the next year. So, if you want to store TRX, get a Tronix or TronLink Wallet.

Libra has nothing to do with bitcoin.
Bakk and ETF are players that wants to join the ecosystem. Who should decide who may or may not buy bitcoin? Decentralization means that no one control. Those players cannot control bitcoin, I see no big issue.

Binance is still supported to convert from ERC20 to TRX mainnet. You should convert because Tron on Ethereum is no longer supported by the official Tron developers
That's correct. I had a few TRX ERC20 that I received from the Eth holders airdrop. I just sent thoseERC20 to my Ethereum Address on binance and they were automatically converted to TRX mainnet tokens. Easy to do. Don`t store your TRX on metamask, as ERC20 tokens are no longer supported by Tron Network team.

- I'd format the hard drive to get rid of preinstalled Windows OS
- I'd get these specs:
Do you think there is any possibility of hardware backdoor, or any leftovers from Windows, that would put my bitcoin at risk? I plan to use it as my main, home workstation. Probably no hardware backdoors, but this is a good computer. This is probably going to your daily use computer, right? There are many other risks involved than only hardware backdoor. As OmegaScream said, just buy a hardware wallet. It will be much safer, and you can use desktop wallets with your hardware wallet (such as electrum, for example).

Very good on futures, but almost anything on Options. Options are much more complicated, as you will buy the "right" to buy BTC at a certain price in a predetermined date. For example, you will buy an Option to buy BTC at 8,000 at December 1st for 500 usd. If BTC goes to 7,000 at november 27th, for example, your option will be worth near zero, as nobody will want to buy BTC for 8000 while the price is 7000. However, if BTC goes to 8700, you will be saving 200, so that option will be worth 700 (at least) instead of 500. That's near 25% gain in your option paper, while BTC was up only about 8%. This is more or less how it works.

I think the best thing for low volume currency exchange is to use a coin swap service, such as Changelly, Easyrabbit, Coinswap, instaswap, etc (there are many out there). Those services are KYC free (most of them) and there is no withdrawal fee.
This way you can withdrawal ETH or XRP (usually i have better rates using XRP) from exchanges and then use Changelly, for example, to exchange it back to BTC. sometimes it is better to do this than to withdrawal btc from exchanges.

Hello LoyceV. I was careful reading your guide, as I am translating it. Take a look here: Positive (shown as +1) - If you believe someone can be trusted, even when you didn't trade with him, that too deserves positive feedback.
Negative (shown as -1) - If you really hate someone and he's a terrible troll, that does not deserve negative feedback.
I know this is like a common practice here in bitcointalk, I know you are not inventing this. But I disagree with those points. Aren't they contradictory? If you think someone is "cool", so yeah, give him a nice feedback, so everyone think he is trusted and he has a green +1 on his account. If you think someone is a troll, don't paint him red. Shouldn't both situations have the same approuch? IMO, both feedbacks, in those cases, should be NEUTRAL. "Nice guy" or "I hate this troll", as neutral. There are so many "nice guy" feedbacks with positives trusts here, as there are many "troller' with red feedbacks

The minimum is determined by their server and not necessarily 3 Gwei. I just opened Ledger Live and the "slow" option (minimum) shows 2 Gwei. If you need more flexibility, use MEW or any other third-party client like you were already doing until they decide to let you choose whatever amount you want (if they decide).
I thought they would have an "advanced mode" feature, but I can't see anything like this.
That's sad, that there is no customizable fee. I sent with 1gwei and my transaction was confirmed in the next block. Maybe those wallet services are also miners and want to increase fees? I can't understand such limitations

Im looking for safe and secured popular wallet to hold my stable coins like usdc usdt pax.
Any good one? And private wallet to hold my stable coins! ?
Buy a hardware wallet at ledger.com or Trezor.io Those are the safest and most popular choices for newbies. You won`t regret, small investment and you will be in peace, knowing that no one can hack your coins.

I was going to use my ledger live today. First time I was going to make a transaction without using third party software (like MEW or Mycrypto). But I couldn't. The minimum Gas Price ledger live allowed me to use was 3 Gwei. I checked https://ethgasstation.info/ and the standard gas price was 1Gwei. So I just logged into MyCrypto.com and made the transfer as I always did. How come ledger company build this new Ledger Live software, and just decided that the minimum gas price should be 3 Gwei? Or not fully customizable? Just can`t understand some choices... Beautiful interface, but not so good to use.

I just think that is the wrong approach to come to the forum and only do bounty campaigns. After some time many actually realize that they have earned almost nothing, and that they are still a newbie with 0 merits.
I totally agree. When I discovered this forum the merit system was already implemented, and I realized that merits and a good account were the most valuable thing I could get here. I tried to join some bounties, but I realized that participating in bounties would damage my reputation (all those proof of authentitcatiion posts), so I didn't participate any (1 or two only, which I earned a few bucks, but much more from sig campaigns).

I have to admit that even though I have seed backup, I wouldn't want something like this to happen to me. I can only imagine when something like this happens to someone who is not quite aware of how things work.
I did a nice thin that made me feel better about reset When I first created my wallet I noted down the seed. Then I checked the public address. Then I rested the device and restored with the seed. Same address. Then I was sure I could survive a reset

Is there any way I can recover the BCH Value?
Do as Tryninja said. Save your Seed (backup phrase) that was generated in Electrum. This is how you are going to recover it in Electrum Cash.

He doesn't have the 24 word pass phrase so I don't want to update the firmware which will reset the device.
How do people end up in this situation? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Without that backup seed mnemonic, users are sitting on a ticking time bomb... one small accident and all their funds are gone. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) My Ledger Nano S suddenly reseted once. I didn't even try to put my PIN, and it just reseted when I touched the device while plugged in. That's scary. You can also try Mycrypto.com Both myetherwallet and Mycrypto.com are supported by ledger. https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008268594-Set-up-and-use-MyCrypto

I partially agree with Lucius. However, there are some bounties in the bounties session which may be worth.
That digital gold bounty looks interesting (i took a brief look at it and I liked it), as some other projects already on exchanges. Bounty hunters should be vigilant and know which project to choose.
There are some which pay in Eth, others with tokens that are already in exchanges.
THere isn't room for everyone in good BTC payment campaigns (sadly many spammers are still in long term good payment campaigns), but there are quite a few opportunities in the bounty session.

Have you checked firewall, antivirus ? They might be blocking Electrum too. As you have the right version, it should sync.
I would do what bitcryptex said. Restore from the seed and install again.
